Fraud Attempts | Vehicle Arson: Northampton Police Reports

NORTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA — At least two Northampton residents were victims of big fraud attempts and someone reported their vehicle being set on fire over the past few days, according to the Northampton Township Police Department.   • Suspicious Person Complainant reports an unknown subject approached their breeze way and appeared to be lost or intoxicated. The complainant provided RING camera footage of the incident. After further investigation, the subject was identified.
  • Warrant Arrest Patrol conducted a traffic stop in the area of Churchville Lane for expired registration.

    After further investigation, the vehicle operator was taken into custody for a warrant out of the Bucks County Sheriff’s Department.

  • Traffic Accident Patrol was dispatched to Chinquapin Road for a report of a two-vehicle accident. Unit #1 and Unit #2 recollection of the incident differed. Unit #1 stated Unit #2 swerved into their lane of travel.

    Unit #2 stated Unit #1 swerved into their lane of travel.

    There were no reported injuries and minor damage to each vehicle.

During this tour, patrol responded to 12 alarms, eight abandoned 911 calls, 15 medical calls, three domestic disputes and four bookings.
