Having read a lot of reviews on this product, there were a few negative ones that made me quite sceptical about making a purchase.
After factoring the possibility of human error, I decided to make the purchase based on VFM against similar products.
    UPSIDES:
Product arrived very quickly, within a few days. It came well packaged with all the advertised accessories present.
Product seems very well made using solid materials (baring the remote).
It was very easy to set up without the need to pair the speakers, working straight out the box.
Currently I have the unit connected to the TV via the headphone out/line setup. Ultimately, rather than use the HMDI ARC I will use the optic setup as I want to keep the HMDI slot on the TV free (waiting on an additional order for delivery of the Optic cable)
The sound is clear, crisp and quite heavy. It’s a huge upgrade from the sound of just the TV speakers.
    DOWNSIDES:
Firstly the remote, whilst it looks neat with functions to control all the separate speakers individually, it feels flimsy in the hand and when a button is pressed, there is a clear crushing sound like the remote is going to disintegrate in the hand.
The satellite speakers are not uni-directional so depending on where they are positioned, they may not be readily heard unless turned up more than what should be necessary.
There is a lot of packaging to get rid of.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI started initially looking for a soundbar with Dolby Arnos, but when we decided on a media wall realised that the upward firing speakers would wreck the aesthetics.
So I reverted to looking at 5.1 systems, I read a review somewhere on the Majority kit, the review was outstanding and linked to Amazon. I opted for this system due to the wireless speakers and cost.
I had cause to contact Majority’s tech support over one of the surround speakers which turned out to be faulty, and I must state the tech support was amazingly fast, helpful and extremely courteous!! so I ordered a second system whilst waiting to return the first.
I must say that the performance of the kit is exceptional, plenty to fill my living room and massively improved compared to my previous major brand soundbar.
In short if you want a surround system you should seriously look at this as a solution!

This filled a gap in the market for a low budget hometheatre system..I was surprised with the ease of set up and the overall surround sound quality. I would recommend. Wireless connections makes this kit very flexible for the room you have.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersGreat 5.1 cinema sound reproduction, especially watching war films. Completely fills the room. Plenty of volume from the sub. Ability to place rear speakers wherever you want due to them being Bluetooth, although I keep mine permanently plugged in to save having to recharge them. Sound bar is thin so fits perfectly under my TV. Speakers are solidly built and produce good sound.
Minor niggles: Remote too small and fiddly. Slight buzz from rear speakers, although you can’t hear it when playing anything. System should come with HDMI ARC cable, although you can connect up with cables supplied. The ability to increase/decrease volume on individual speakers would have been good.
Amazing value for money at 220.
Warning. Majority have no phone numbers to contact. Big minus! If you Google Majority you will find a number listed but this is a scam number in Cambodia or somewhere in the FE. It automatically charges you abot 12 PER HOUR !!!!!!! THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH MAJORITY.I have advised them.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersInitial mix up with the box and some missing speakers. Manufacturer sorted it out fast. Now I have full surround sound via an optical cable and it’s awesome. Great quality. Remote is good. Got pre-canned settings too for those who aren’t technical. Decent value. Would reccomend.

I mix and master Dolby Atmos music professionally so have an expensive system at home in my living room. Decided to try this for my bedroom tv, very impressed ease of setup, great quality hardware and really high quality 5.1 Dolby Atmos sound. Well done Majority.

This is a fantastic sound bar system, that is more than a match for the expensive ones. Great surround sound with thumping bass, punching far above it’s size. Connected to HDMI arc and and it turns on when the tv turns on and the the detachable speakers can be turned on and off via the the remote… they could be louder though. Overall, it’s money well spent.

The overall look of the sound bar is great and the wireless speakers work really well as detachable satellites. The sound quality is excellent and it was a really easy set up from the box using an HDMI cable (not supplied).

The one thing that lets it down is the remote is cheap and tacky. If you are spending over 200 you really want something that feels like it is worth that and the remote really doesn’t. I also think the whole package is slightly too expensive for what it is, mainly because the remote let’s it down.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersWhat I didn’t like? The price. Too cheap. I was expecting to pay a lot more for this cra p. At least I got what I expected.

Well, I wanted a bit of kit that would be unusually easy to set up, I wanted one speaker to emit a loud buzz and I wanted to hear the sound out of synch with the picture, like some badly dubbed foreign language version of Friends. Despite me getting everything I wanted, it didn’t work. It just didn’t work.

In addition, I wanted my returned item to be lost in the electronic ether as it was never acknowledged as being received despite the courier confirming this in writing. I also wanted communication with Izzola and Amazon to be as awkward as possible via chatbots. I’m now seeking advice from solicitors as to how best to reclaim my money. My advice, do t buy from this crap cambs mustardy bunch of cnuts.

The product arrived the next day, it was very well packaged and appeared to be very well built.
The set up couldn’t be simpler, the remote surround sound speakers are very effective in my small lounge, giving a crisp clear sound. As the components are all wire free the lack of wires is a bonus.
Overall the quality is excellent so I’m well pleased.

he Everest 5.1 soundbar arrived 2 days late but was well packed and looks very well made it worked very well on optical cable and sounded excellent for the money But it would not work on arc at all so could not output 5.1 Dalby sound properly. Tested the src socket on my LG tv with another 5.1 sound bar and that worked o/k, So have returned the Everest to Amazon for a refund as I have lost faith in the overall quality of the Majority products,I am thankful that I purchased from Amazon and thank them for their prompt service

Quality of sound is excellent. The surround speakers are really clear and easy to hear and as they’re wireless you can put them anywhere and no messy wires. The bass speaker is amazing you feel it rumbling around the whole room. I tried it while watching Tremors and the sound blew me away. The music setting really brings songs to life. I’m so happy with these speakers, I couldn’t ask for better.

I was looking for a new soundbar to replace my aging Samsung soundbar. So I started looking on Amazon. I checked out several soundbars before stumbling across The Majority Everest 5.1. I must admit I’d never heard of the brand. But after reading several positive reviews I took the plunge and ordered it. It arrived in a really weird L shaped box which I thought was pretty cool. The first thing out of the box was the subwoofer which is a nice size. The speaker is side mounted with a bass reflex port on the front. The satellite speakers were next. They are really well made and come with metal stands which is a nice touch. Then finally the main soundbar unit, which is a nicely made unit and a lot beefier than my old Samsung which will give more air movement in the enclosure enhancining the sound. Setup was a breeze, plugged everything in, turned the main unit on, then the satellites and everything connected without a hitch. I initially connected the TV to the soundbar with an optical cable but have since changed that to ARC which works great. As for sounds this thing is really loud. The bass from the woofer is rich, no boominess at all. I like the way it brings itself in and out for some dramatic effect. Dialogue from the main unit is crystal clear using Dolby Audio. I was a bit unsure about charging the satellites on a regular basis by attaching them to the main unit, but 2 micro usb chargers and cables come with them, so I just leave them permanently connected to the mains. Much easier. The satellites themselves are great, while watching a movie last night a car came racing past me from behind. The effect was class. The remote control looks a little cheap compared to the rest of the parts but saying that it works well and the volumes and tones of all units can be adjusted individually which is pretty cool. It also has buttons for all the inputs on the back of the soundbar. I’ve also connected my phone by BT and played a few songs from you tube music and it sounds awesome with the sound coming from front and rear. All in all if you want a great sounding soundbar without breaking the bank you will not be disappointed with the Everest 5.1. It’s a great piece of kit.

    Great Soundba

Super easy to set up and get listening. On a channel with good quality sound, or listening to music, the listening experience is so much better than our previous Bose sound bar. The big woofer makes such a difference. Easy to move wireless speakers around to suit listening preferences, only need access to power sockets.

Only downside so far is that the satellite speakers on battery are a bit underpowered – at the lower end of the acceptable range.

Overall this kit is amazing value for the 199.95 it cost us.

I brought this as a “Minor” upgrade from my 300W LG soundbar to go with my new 4K TV. Only this is NOT minor upgrade, it makes a MASSIVE difference to watching Sport/Films. From hearing minor details you may have missed before coming from directly behind you, to the sound of Gunfire all around and bass you can feel, this is a fantastic upgrade from a standard sound bar. You’re not paying 100 more for the name here, you’re paying for a quality item

Unpacking was first sign of a good product, well built, weighty, all cables and items well packaged. On first setup it was easy, the sound and controls both excellent and the Bass was more than expected, very pleasing and thumpy. The control volume sets are well thought out, the whole thing makes it easy to get to that sweet spot of tones that you are happiest with. The wireless satellites and bass make placing very convenient, and being able to put the satellites onto the bar ends for easy charging is a plus. All until come with power adapters, even individual satellite chargers instead of a shared one as many offer. The bar comes with nice tidy rubber stands and an additional set of wall mounting adapters on the rear if you wish to mount it on the wall with just 2 screws. The system is pleasing to the eye, very modern in its black and shiny design with a nice LED display central showing mode, volumes, etc. this is switchable to on and off if preferred. True surround is switchable via the remote when input allows for using true dolby surround and the effective noise direction is above decent. A very well designed and built system giving great sound and quality value.

Incredible value for money. Working in the live music industry, audio quality is key for me. I took a punt on this set up and it exceeds all expectations.

It took a little while to get things set up to perfection – definitely connect to TV via Arc/HDMI over any of the other inputs.

Audio quality of video is top notch, but even more than that the audio quality on music once set up (you’ll need to tweak the surround, centre, front and sub settings to your liking) is on par if not better than a professional studio monitor set up. ONLY if you play audio out through your TV though. The Bluetooth input doesn’t have anywhere near the fidelity of the TV/HDMI inputs, but once that’s sorted you’re onto a winner.

    5 stars across the board!

I dithered about for weeks trying to find a replacement surround system for my old Panasonic, which although around 15 years old was still working well but apparently didn’t go well with my wife’s new colour scheme.
This Majority sound system is fantastic, great range of sound, easy to set up once I managed to find the instructions online.
I don’t think you will be disappointed.

Pity there’s no basic set up instructions in the box as I could not work out how to connect the side speakers to the main bar until I emailed the company. I was afraid to force the covers off the side of the bar incase I damaged it, you actually have to twist them off, but it would have been handy if there were arrows to indicate this. I’m very glad I persisted, as it is an excellent product and well worth the money.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersPurchased this product in early January 2022, the original system had some technical issues with the satallite speakers so had to contact Majority customer service to resolve the problem. Majority sent out a replacement speaker but this was also faulty so I contacted Majority again and they sent me a replacement system which has worked perfectly and gives excellent sound quality with more than enough volume for any user. The price of the system is more than comparable to the more well known manufacturers and the extended warranty available adds to this.

I bought this to use with my projector to get a true cinema experience in my living room, OMG what a surprise I got, the bass coming from the sub is superb coupled with the exceptional mid range and the wireless satellite speakers make this system ideal for a large living room. The volume is outstanding and the presets work perfectly, the remote control could be a bit bigger as I have sausage fingers but that’s just a minor thing, bluetooth works well too and links up without a hitch. I like this system so much that It has now replaced my Samsung soundbar and sub. I’d recommend this system anytime, what a good buy it is.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI purchased this because my TV speakers are terrible and I wanted to be able to listen to films and music with a bit more clarity.
I have not been disappointed, the quality of sound is amazing, it hits all of the ranges from the high trebles all the way down to the low basses.
The bass is very powerful and can shake the sofa you are sitting on! (I have had to turn it down as one of my dogs is scared of it!)
I normally use it on volume level 2 or 3 (it goes up to 22 I think) as this is a comfortable level for myself, but even on higher volumes the clarity is spot on.
I have used it with the AV plugs (red and white) as my TV doesn’t have a HDMI output unfortunately, this is good enough to give a real quality sound experience, the surround sound is very real and can be adjusted via the remote, for example I have turned the volume up on the satellite speakers and turned the front bass most of the way down, you can really immerse yourself in a film!
Another useful feature is the Bluetooth connection, this has meant I can work on my computer / phone and listen to music on the loudspeakers rather than the tinny laptop speakers.
The unit itself is very well made, came well packaged, looks and feels the part.
You can charge the satellite speakers either with the supplied USB chargers, or by removing the end caps from the soundbar and twisting the speakers onto the ends.
My only criticisms of this product are the lack of a user manual (maybe I was just unlucky and didn’t get one), and the fact that the satellite speakers disconnect and reconnect when there is a quiet period, as this can take a few seconds it can be a little annoying but I think it is something that I will get used to.
Would I recommend? Yes without question, it is one of the best purchases I have made in a long time!

I was looking to upgrade my current unit to a 5.1 surround sound soundbar system and so far i’ve been super impressed with this purchase. At 230 my only reservation was that it seemed quiet cheap for such a lot of spec however this quickly disappeared.

On arrival it was packaged really well and lots of info from the brand. I opened up the unit first reaction was the build quality is good. The finish on the subwoofer is especially nice and the satellite speakers are just the right size.

Set up was super quick and easy. I connected using optical cable as this is what i previously had set up on my old soundbar. I connect the main soundbar unit and the subwoofer and they connected to each other automatically.

I firstly connected the satellite speakers to the main soundbar unit. You take off the end caps and they slot in nicely and started charging. However I wanted the satellite speakers to be situated permanently in my room so i put them onto the stands included and plugs them into the mains. Once you power up all the units you create an amazing room filling sound!

The remote allows for lots of control to the sound you are after. It includes 3 pre-set sounds: Music / News / Movie. But one of the best features is that you can quickly tweak the sound depending on what you like and are watching. There are 4 controls at the top to change directional volume along with the standard Bass & Treble controls. The LED button turn off/on the led light from the main unit – the light is pretty bright so I prefer it off.

Overall very pleased with this purchase. I registered for the additional warranty which is a nice touch but hopefully it wont be needed!!

Serious piece of Kit! Great sound and finish!

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI purchased the Majority Everest 5.1 wireless system based on my previous purchase from this manufacturer when I purchased an Atlas soundbar for my PC over a year ago. Item arrived promptly as expected. Very well packed in an unusual box — kept me guessing for a few minutes how to get in it!! I was looking to improve the quality of sound for sports and music, previously I have been reliant on the TV speakers or a pairing via a Bluetooth receiver with phono output.
Initially, I did not have a wall mount, so I placed the unit on my existing hifi system. I was pleased to see that all the wireless components paired seamlessly, no messing about with pairing. In respect of other items pairing to the bar my iPad and iphone had no connectivity issues.
I am using this system in my office/bar, so I need the music or sport to fill the room when I am entertaining, and I also need the room to have a background sound when I am seeing clients — it does both superbly and effortlessly. The sound quality output has significantly improved the quality of sound I have been used to
The set up I have is Bluetooth for music and optical for TV. Using both methods of connectivity, the unit performs well — there are no issues with distortion or vibrations etc watching live football, a movie or F1 or listening to music it produces a brilliant, warm encompassing surround across the room. The Dolby Audio certainly provides a different and unique listening experience — it is surprising how much detailed sound it picks up — very noticeable on live football. There is a multitude of inputs, including HDMI, Phono and Aux so it is a very flexible unit to setup
The surround speakers are very compact and very modern looking, but that does not compromise the quality of sound in any way. They can be placed anywhere, and they do not look out of place.
Component quality and build is excellent, with a minimalistic finish. The surround speakers can be charged by plugging into the main bar or, as I prefer, mains recharged — a mains charger per speaker is included. The inputs at the back of the unit are well recessed so no unsightly wires and the unit can go as far back as possible on the bracket.
The remote is laid out well and simple to use, the ability to control bass, treble and volume could not be easier as is the ease to choose input. The ability to switch sound modes between music, movie or news is straightforward and all three buttons make a noticeable change of sound. I was pleasantly surprised that I can even pause my iPad from the remote!!
Overall, the unit looks good, pleasing to the eye and produces a superb sound, I would highly recommend on my experience previous and present with Majority. I am more than likely going to replace another soundbar in the house with another one of these bits of kit.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersWe moved house recently and I wanted a soundbar with wireless subwoofer to use in our new living room. We have been using a Sharp model which I hoped would be an ideal solution for a few months now. It’s OK but the bluetooth connection between the main speaker and subwoofer constantly drops out meaning it’s frustrating to use and it doesn’t retain settings each time the power is turned off. So, having looked for alternatives and having been aware of Majority products for a while now (we already use a couple of Majority items at home which have been great), I decided to give the Majority Everest 5.1 Dolby Soundbar a go – and so far it hasn’t disappointed, whilst not being entirely perfect. It’s certainly a vast improvement in sound quality from my last set up though!

The whole set of speakers looks stylish and would fit into any modern living room. It’s super-easy to get going and I was ready to watch TV within around 15 minutes from unpacking the box. One thing that surprised me was that there are no instructions included in the box which is something of a rarity – although of course I found these easily on Majority’s website and I suppose it’s another good way of saving on paper as the packaging is quite minimal too.

The box contains the soundbar itself along with wireless subwoofer and two satellite speakers which can be attached to the sides of the soundbar for a more compact set up – or used anywhere else in the room for a more spacious sound. I’ve simply included them in my photos to the sides of the TV so to include them in the picture, however they sound much better when placed behind the sides of your sofa for example, I just haven’t got the stand or means to situate them there permanently as yet – but it’s something I’ll be looking into for sure. The satellite speakers don’t seem to be wall-mountable so may be able to use a small wall shelf/bracket for each, as they come with a solid detachable stand for each and can be charged with the USB adapters included.

I found the fact that you can take the smaller speakers with you around the house quite amusing and a great feature, even if t’s just to listen to the TV from another room in the house!! The bluetooth range seems pretty good and impressive with both the detachable speakers and subwoofer too.

The first thing I noticed when everything was powered up was that it’s loud! Fortunately the remote control has a separate volume and tone control for each individual speaker, so it’s really nice to have so much control over the sound. The remote control itself feels a little flimsy and cheap for a 200+ unit but does work well and even has controls for overall treble and bass, which is handy when flicking from channel to channel as some appear to be much louder than others!

Bundled in the box are 2 RCA phono cables and a 3.5mm jack to jack cable for attaching any additional Aux inputs. No HDMI cable is included, which again probably should be included for the cost, but I know it’s not a common thing to find HDMI cables being shipped with products these days. I had a few spares at home so it wasn’t a problem and the soundbar connects effortlessly to HDMI ARC within seconds.

Another thing that struck me was just how well the speakers are made and how nice they feel. They are nice and heavy and chunky, not in bad way – they just feel solid and well made. The subwoofer is bigger than I was expecting but it was easy to hide down the side of the settee and being wireless it’s very easy to move around to find the best location – as the bass it produces packs a punch!

The sound is clean and crisp when watching general HD TV and watching Netflix with the Dolby Audio is something else!! I still need to experiment with the location of the satellite speakers to achieve the best effect but my first impressions were very pleasing. It makes the sound really fill the room and I can hear detail that I hadn’t noticed before. We will definitely be having more movie nights from now on!

The detachable speakers come with solid heavy bases to attach them to meaning there’s no movement or vibration from the sub or main speaker when is use. There’s also three EQ settings to choose from – and the selection is shown on the front main LCD display of the soundbar but I found this hard to read as the display is behind a grille, so it’s hard to see from a distance. The display is nice and bright though and this can also be turned off if too bright in a darkened room for example. I found the “Movie” EQ setting to be the best all-rounder. The separate speakers can be used wirelessly and charged up with the adapters provided which is great if you wish to use them independently or away from your TV!

There are plenty of connectivity options and the main one I use is playing music from my phone via bluetooth. The devices were paired in seconds and the sound is great, although I did have to tweak the volumes and tones again from the remote as I found it a little bass-heavy at first.

The one big disadvantage for us, which does let the unit down, is the inability to be controlled using a SkyQ remote control. Even though our old soundbar wasn’t perfect, it was controllable using the Sky remote along with the TV, so it meant that we only needed one controller for all items. It’s not a huge issue but I did expect that this would work with our existing SkyQ setup and it’s now disappointing that we need to revert to using more remotes – mainly because it’s confusing for our young son but I also enjoyed having less clutter! I hope this is something that Majority will be able to resolve in the near future.

It’s a great and serious contender though if you’re looking for a decent wireless 5.1 set up – it sounds awesome, is well made and Majority offer an excellent 3 year warranty. I’d have given this 5 starts if it wasn’t for the lack of Sky compatibility and flimsy remote control. Definitely worth a look though!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI was looking for a Surround Sound System with Soundbar and came across the Majority Everest 5.1 Dolby Audio Surround Sound System with Soundbar. Being already an owner of Majority products, it was a no brainer for me to have a go at it.

My initial impression of the sound system itself was very positive right from the first day I unpacked it. Unlike some 5.1 Surround Sound System, it comes with a wireless subwoofer and also two Rechargeable and Detachable Satellite Speakers which can be quickly recharged and delivering up to 8 hours of playback each.

First, the sound quality is far beyond my expectations when it comes to clarity and depth coming from these speakers when compared to my old Soundbar. The wireless subwoofer produces powerful, dynamic, and warm bass without distortion even when the volume is at its highest. The Wireless Satellite Speakers have a crisp and clear sound which enhances the viewing experience without the worry of cables lying around. It also comes with Dolby Digital Audio which features detailed directional effects that feel sound at different parts of the room to transform how you experience music. It features three pre-programmed sound presets like News, Music and Movie, which have been optimized to enhance the sound experience. To experience the best sound quality, it needs to be connected to the TV via an HDMI cable. If your TV has got an HDMI Arc port, it makes the integration of this sound system even more seamless. Please note that the HDMI is not supplied in the box and needs to be purchased separately.

The Soundbar comes with a wealth of connectivity which includes HDMI ports, optical port, USB port and line-in. Also included in the box are AUX cable and RCA cable, and I also like the fact that each Wireless Satellite Speakers come with its own charger and both can be charged simultaneously.

Overall I could not be happier with my purchase as the sound quality is already outstanding but the real value for money that I got for this unit which is just as good as similar 5.1 Dolby Audio Surround Sound System with Soundbar that costs much more. A real bonus is that it comes with a 3-year warranty for extra piece of mind. A great buy that I would recommend to everyone looking to experience upgraded surround sound.

    5.1 Surround Sound Heave

Arrived today, been using it with rear speakers detached for couple hours and overall impressed, I’ve never owned a 5.1 before so I can’t compare to anything except JBL STUDIO MONITORS with audioengine DAC (almost a 1000 set up). I can guarantee the sound quality is just as good as top tier speakers out there, one issue I’ve found is that the sound bar feels very directional to front of it. Best to setup it in level with head/ears, sadly my setup makes it only possible to have the soundbar at chest level; it’s a PC desk setup.

I feel that if you use this system with HDMI ARC cable you may benefit from a richer experience, sadly since this is for pc use, I am limited to Toslink connection.

Single major flaw I’ve found is that there is no dedicated software from everest which could increase rear speakers volume individuallyd; rear speakers feel slightly too quiet to feel the surround sound experience genuinely.

This is was my most honest review for this home theatre system, I want to say that it’s near perfect system and there’s for improvement.

If you’re rich, I’d go for dolby atmos S-tier system rather than this midrange 5.1 but that’s a no brainer.

If you’re tight on money and want something most worth your money than this 5.1 sound bar detachable wireless speakers system is definitely worth it, I like it A LOT but not in love unfortunately.

Was slightly worried the price and description were too good to be true. Received yesterday, super easy setup (did need to move the sub closer initially to get it to pair, sounds great. (Probably not as good as the sonos setup in my TV room). Connected via ARC, using with a PS5. So far very impressed. Remote allows adjustment of volume levels between the various groups. Centering doesn’t appear to be possible. Manual is online and not particularly helpful. So far very happy.
