    Good starte
Knew very little about 3D printing, and seems cheap gear like this is for hobbyists like me to learn and produce parts in my case. The feed mechanism was faulty, the online Customer Service was very good and helped isolate the problem and sent the parts to me, free. PlA, the easiest and only filament I have used is brittle so I increased thickness of small parts, all part of the learning.
You need software to design parts, I use FreeCAD which is OpneSource and free, and find design the hardest part. I use the provided Creality Print to turn the design into code the printer reads, it also tailors the printer’s parameters. You also need a microSD card to update the display before updating the firmware on the provided SD card. Instructions and sparse so head for Youtube where users have posted, and there is a Creality channel.

Great Way Into the World of 3D Printing
I purchased this as part of a project to build a device for cleaning mechanical watch parts which is in the time of writing this view is still work in progress.
The person who supplied the license to build the machine advised that most people who decide to build the project will normally buy a 3D printer rather than pay 3rd party company who could charge up to and over 1000 .
After doing so much research I’m proud to say I’m really pleased with the Ender 3 V3 SE, please note this is an entry level 3D printer and it doesn’t offer as much fancy features as some others do within the kinda same price or expensive bracket but what it does do it does really, really well.
There is a learning curve and you need to have a lot of patience because it will frustrate the pants off you but Creality has a fantastic community and once you get the hang of things you’ll be up all night (yes depending on what you are printing things can take hours).
Please note if you are just starting out try to get as much information as possible something which is so easy these days with the internet and don’t be afraid to get in touch with Creality and ask as many questions as possible.
Depending on what you would like to print if it’s decorative and/or functional there’s various types of material and some are suited more than others and this printer can only print a couple of them.
    All-in-All would I recommend this… YES 100%
If you like things technical and don’t mind a learning curve with the printer plus the software needed to process 3D models before they can be converted and sent to a 3D printer, also there’s so many well known websites and forums your you to download other peoples designs then this is a great way to start 3D printing.
BE WARNED ONCE STARTED YOU’LL BE DRAWN INTO THE AMAZING WORLD OF 3D PRINTING!

    Ender 3 3d printe
This is a good entry level printer beginners. That allows a beginner to do alot. The assembly is straight forward. Updating the firmware needs to done. Printing of models is easy you have lot of sites you can use. I started printing replacement parts they would if cost more to purchase. Printing jungle animals for my daughter. There’s not much you can’t do with a 3d printer.

I really like the fact you can customise this printer which is amazing adding different nozzle sizes, changing the extruder, and the hotend. Good every level printer with lots of expansion options.

    Nice printer easy to use.*
Printer was working fine untill I upgraded it with CR auto level. Downloaded all the correct firmware.
After which the printer would no accept TL card or printer commands eventually after many attempts I got it work but not the menu was not like creality example. Could no set the Z offset so the hotend dug into my build plate on leveling. Amazon came to my rescue and organized a re fund. So if you have one of these be careful if you upgrade the firmware. Still a
good product.i with be getting another creality soon but have decided to get the 3V2neo with bed leveling included. Happy printing

    Got it printing
Got it together in under 2 hours.
Bit fiddly but hey what’s the rush.
Printed the test piece but didn’t have enough filament to finish it.
Very quick delivery and nicely protected.
    Awaiting some more filament.
And will come back if I find anything else.
    Overall very happy.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersWorth the money
    Assembly:
    – Quite complicated and time consuming but a great setup video can be found on YouTube on 3D Printing Canada’s channel. Search for video “The Ultimate Creality Ender 3 Quick Start Guide”. I used this instead of even attempting to understand the manual
    – Calibration can be a bit painstaking but is a must

    Print quality:
    – It can be quite an irritating thing, trying to perfect your print at times but once you’ve mastered it, print quality is amazing

    Times:
    – Pre-heat is done in a flash. No issues there
    – Printing takes a bit longer than software tells you
    – The screen starts at a stupid high completion time and mustn’t be trusted for about 30mins

    Other:
    – System doesn’t let you have a list of pre-sets for printing which is a shame
    – Some people say it’s a little loud… I am not sure what to compare it to, but it’s certainly not quiet. Put it this way… Your other half might ask you to print in a different room whilst they are watching TV
    – No wireless print functionality
    – No USB option of printing
    – This isn’t one of those devices that nobody on the internet has heard of. It’s a well-known device with so many users, meaning there’s support out there for any issues

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersVery impressed
I have only tried a few things so far but I am really impressed with how well it works out of the box with only basic setting up.
It takes about 2 to 3 hours to assemble and an hour to set the bed level.
Then straight to printing a sample unfortunately it ran out of filament before the end of the print. Good job I ordered a roll of filament with the printer.
Fitted the new roll and printed the sample no problems.
I very happy with the purchase.

    Really good
Great printer, I’ve always had creality printers in the past and they have always been good, this printer was listed time frame of assemble 2 hours, it took me all of about 35-45 mins, very easy tobuild, the only pain in the rear was adjusting the bed level.

    Great printe
For the money it’s fantastic, easy setup, great adhesion and pretty easy to get set up IMHO. Do some research first to get the slicer settings right for your plastic and you won’t have any worries with the magnetic self-adhesive platform. Clips could be improved but hey you get what you pay for.

The only downsides to the printer are the bed size (which at this price point is whinging rather than a genuine complaint) and unfortunately it does sound like a dying cat while printing. I have an Ender 3 max as well which sounds completely different while printing so not sure if that’s unique to my printer or to this more basic Ender 3 model.
