Printer was working fine untill I upgraded it with CR auto level. Downloaded all the correct firmware.
After which the printer would no accept TL card or printer commands eventually after many attempts I got it work but not the menu was not like creality example. Could no set the Z offset so the hotend dug into my build plate on leveling. Amazon came to my rescue and organized a re fund. So if you have one of these be careful if you upgrade the firmware. Still a
good product.i with be getting another creality soon but have decided to get the 3V2neo with bed leveling included. Happy printing

Got it together in under 2 hours.
Bit fiddly but hey what’s the rush.
Printed the test piece but didn’t have enough filament to finish it.
Very quick delivery and nicely protected.
    Awaiting some more filament.
And will come back if I find anything else.
    Overall very happy.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersAssembly:
    – Quite complicated and time consuming but a great setup video can be found on YouTube on 3D Printing Canada’s channel. Search for video “The Ultimate Creality Ender 3 Quick Start Guide”. I used this instead of even attempting to understand the manual
    – Calibration can be a bit painstaking but is a must

    Print quality:
    – It can be quite an irritating thing, trying to perfect your print at times but once you’ve mastered it, print quality is amazing

    Times:
    – Pre-heat is done in a flash. No issues there
    – Printing takes a bit longer than software tells you
    – The screen starts at a stupid high completion time and mustn’t be trusted for about 30mins

    Other:
    – System doesn’t let you have a list of pre-sets for printing which is a shame
    – Some people say it’s a little loud… I am not sure what to compare it to, but it’s certainly not quiet. Put it this way… Your other half might ask you to print in a different room whilst they are watching TV
    – No wireless print functionality
    – No USB option of printing
    – This isn’t one of those devices that nobody on the internet has heard of. It’s a well-known device with so many users, meaning there’s support out there for any issues

Great printer, I’ve always had creality printers in the past and they have always been good, this printer was listed time frame of assemble 2 hours, it took me all of about 35-45 mins, very easy tobuild, the only pain in the rear was adjusting the bed level.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI have only tried a few things so far but I am really impressed with how well it works out of the box with only basic setting up.
It takes about 2 to 3 hours to assemble and an hour to set the bed level.
Then straight to printing a sample unfortunately it ran out of filament before the end of the print. Good job I ordered a roll of filament with the printer.
Fitted the new roll and printed the sample no problems.
I very happy with the purchase.

For the money it’s fantastic, easy setup, great adhesion and pretty easy to get set up IMHO. Do some research first to get the slicer settings right for your plastic and you won’t have any worries with the magnetic self-adhesive platform. Clips could be improved but hey you get what you pay for.

The only downsides to the printer are the bed size (which at this price point is whinging rather than a genuine complaint) and unfortunately it does sound like a dying cat while printing. I have an Ender 3 max as well which sounds completely different while printing so not sure if that’s unique to my printer or to this more basic Ender 3 model.

    Great printe

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersNot had printer a month and only minimal use till detachable mat gets a big bubble in it and throws prints off place.
Amazon refused send replacement mat but said send complete back for a refund and order another 1 instead.
So ive now contacted creality themselves to try resolve this.
If your gonna buy one goto creality themselves for better service support.

As the title says , very good for a beginner. Easy to set up and had it running within an hour. The instructions could be a little clearer but aren’t completely useless. If you get stuck with assembly there’s plenty of vids on YouTube to guide ya. The rest is all trial and erro

Easy to assemble. The instruction are not the best written document and some parts don’t quite march the diagrams but it’s still a simple assembly and can be done in less than an hour.
The quality of the printing, following configuration, is excellent and the heated bed provides a good adhesion. The X,y,z home positions may require a flash of the main board to properly calibrate but instructions are available on YouTube etc and printing can commence even with an small offset.

bought this 3d printer for gaming terrain and housings/fittings for electronic bits and bobs – didn’t need the detail (or mess) of a resin printer so bought this.

resolution at 0.12mm is pretty good, you won’t get large smooth surfaces from it without a bit of work post printing but where that doesn’t matter this is a good printer, its not the fastest thing on earth (none of these printers are), very much set it running, watch it initially for a bit to make sure its working then leave it.

levelling the bed is not too hard but you need to do it before every single print and if you don’t and don’t keep the glass print bed clean you will have problems – however once the first few layers are down it seems fine.

assembly isn’t hard, again watch the videos they make more sense than the printed instructions, was about an hour here from unboxing to 1st print started.

overall very happy and I can see getting a lot of usage out of this

Golden Review Award: 18 From Our UsersI didn’t know anything about 3d printing before i got this, all i knew it was cool and i wanted one. I looked around and this was the cheapest with lots of reviews so i bought it.

I didn’t have any problems building it, i found assembly pretty straight forward. It was like a flat pack from Ikea. Took me about an hour, maybe a bit more.

I didn’t read any instructions and went head first into printing. BIG MISTAKE. I thought the machine was broken or something.

After many failed prints i eventually downloaded a gcode file to level the print bed, tightened the belt, realigned a bunch of stuff, after that everything came out great. Seriously, my advice to anybody is spend some time watching a YouTube video of how to do it first.

My bed was so poorly leveled i actually tore through the original mat and had to buy a replacement because i rushed into it.

Also, don’t expect this to be quick. That ocarina i just made took 6 hours.

So in summary the machine is GREAT but be patient.

This is not a paid review or anything like that. I rarely bother writing reviews but if you’re in 2 minds i suggest just buy it, but keep hold of the tools that come with it!

Machine is amazing if you buy a metal extruder bearing plate as my ne had a tendency to snappl the bearing off.

Cannot say that comgrow is amazing, I would call them unprofessional. I contacted them about this plate breaking and up to now still no word from them, they where contacted on 28th June and it’s now 4th July. I am now out of pocket for a part that should be covered by the warranty and guarantee. Honestly buy directly from Creality through Amazon better CS and product support.

    Great printer, crappy seller.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI gave this product 5 stars. The printer was easy to assemble and plenty of helpful instructional videos available on YouTube. I didn’t have to level the print bed or adjust any other part of the printer. The printer had a heated bed and a magnetic sheet. Once I had the printer loaded with PLA there is an option of preheating the PLA. The temperature at the extruder and print bed reached operational parameters and then I started to print my 3D model. The print job took about one hour and the end result can be viewed in the photo I attached. I detached the magnetic sheet and peeled off the model. Overall I am very happy with its operation and print quality. The software for the printer is included on a mini usb stick that contains a micro 8 Gb SD Card. Once the printer software is loaded on the pc, stl files can be opened and their size can be manipulated further, when satisfied it can be saved and it will create the GCode for the printer. I found this procedure very easy to perform. I am very happy with my printer and I will recommend this product to my friends.

Pro Tip: Read the instructions. All of them. Don’t just start at Step 1. Read every bit of text on them, and then open up the microSD card they give you and read everything in there, too. Knowledge goes a long way with this build. From making sure your Power Supply is set to your country’s standard, to calibrating the bed in thier exact descriptions.

The build itself took me about 45 minutes from start to finish. I laid out all of the parts, checked them against the parts list, and went to work. Everything lined up perfectly, and the included tools did their job. The ONLY issue I had was that the powersupply was set to 230V instead of 115V. Had I not read the directions, and the sticker on the PSU that clearly states to make sure before you turn it on that it’s set correctly, I would have fried that thing.

I have never 3D printed in my life. My first print was last night for 5 hours on “Normal” setting according to their software (which is pretty good), and it worked flawlessly. However, as a noob, the printer only comes with sample filament and had I not pre-purchased extra rolls of filament I would not have completed the print. So make sure you buy some filament with it! The quality of the little pig I printed was really wonderful, even after having to change mid-print (the pause feature is awesome) and figure out how a beginner splices new filament into a print in progress. It wasn’t that hard, but you have to pay attention. The software tells you how much you need… I didn’t pay attention to that so my bad.

Right now I’m printing 2 different models on the same print, and thus far 2 hours in I see no issues. I’m using aftermarket filament and it’s working fine. I’m very happy so far. We’ll see at 6AM tomorrow morning when this print is done if I feel the same way.

There’s a lot of reviews where people say things don’t line up, but if you look at the pictures after receiving your printer you’ll notice that they have parts on backwards or are using the wrong screws. That’s why I am adamant of making sure you have everything you need according to the directions and really paying attention to what you’re doing. Slow is smooth, smooth is fast. Use your brain and you’ll be fine.

And when I say to really pay attention to the directions, I mean it. That goes for calibration, too. It will teach you how to do it. When it says to use standard A4 paper to line all 4 corners of the bed up to the extruder where it can just scratch the paper, make sure that you do exactly that.

TL;DR: Follow the directions, read everything in the box and on the microSD card, and make sure everything is tight. You’ll be happy.

I have not opened my printer yet, I’m planning on doing an unboxing video. However I writing this review based on the sellers customer service.

I’ve reached out to other sellers online, Comgrow was probably the best experience I’ve had yet.

Their response was within 24 hours of contact. They were understanding of my needs and worked to meet those. It was an experience that can be tough to come by in the online marketplace.

Nonetheless, they have proven to stand to by their costumer (me) and their needs. I will definitely continue to support Comgrow’s business.

Great 3D printer for beginners who are willing to take time and the patience to learn. It’s easier out of the box than some, but still requires a learning curve to properly set up. The biggest thing I find easily missed for beginners on these types of printers is aligning the frame and horizontal rail PROPERLY. There is plenty of YouTube tutorials to show you how, and is a MUST when setting up your new printer (instructions don’t mention anything about it). Once that’s done, then you need to properly and patiently align and balance your bed.

A few cons, or inconveniences, is that this printer is very bare-bones and comes as such because of the price. They could have put more effort into the quality of the finished product, but that’s for the price you pay. One thing to keep in mind is that the stock bed isn’t the greatest, and after a few prints, will leave you frustrated. Purchase a GLASS bed and be ready to tweak your software settings on your splicer software (I stick to the default downloadable software from their website before loading any models). The stock settings aren’t tuned in very well for these printers, and will require some toying around with.

When purchasing PLA for this printer, like any, be sure it is a reputable brand and be sure to set your temps according to the specs of the PLA you’re using.

All in all, a great printer for the price.
