Useful accessories & well thought-out charging stand. Like details like built in clips for securing charging cable.
Well pleased at 130 warehouse damaged box. At 249 less enthusiastic but in hindsight would still consider.
I bought another brand of vacuum cleaner and was disappointed every time I used it. But every time I use this brand just makes me smile. It’s powerful and the battery is long lasting giving me plenty of time to clean my whole apartment without running out of power. I would recommend.
I bought this because it scored very well on Which?
It did indeed exceed my expectations in almost every area, even ignoring the low price.
There are, however, a couple of niggles (which were not enough to make me knock a whole star off):
1. As others have said, it can be awkward to empty. You get better with practice but this is something that I think could have been “designed” out.
2. It’s too bulky (with the smaller nozzle & attachments) to get into tight places (eg footwell of a car) which means the fully flexible hose on your main vacuum (as opposed to the semi flexible attachment hose provided) may still be needed.
We’ve found this cleaner much lighter than our mains operated, upright Dyson which now sits unused in a cupboard. It’s easy to use on carpets, hard floors and on stairs. The container fills very quickly and has to be emptied after 10 minutes of use but that’s quite easy to do. Very good range of accessories and good at getting under furniture.
Great suction fairly lightweight plus the added bonus that it stands upright alone. Not had it long but so far so good
What a powerful and versatile little vacuum this is! I bought a cordless vacuum as I have become disabled and can’t manage our corded machine any more; but as a second machine in addition to our Dyson which my husband would continue to use. Although it’s a tad heavier than I would have liked, and the collection box is small which means it has to be emptied more often (collection boxes on all cordless models have small capacity); it is absolutely excellent for picking up on the lowest setting, in fact, when switching to highest setting it was trying to pick up the carpet itself, and it tried to pick up rugs on the lowest setting!
This is an absolute bargain, it has such powerful suction, is very versatile with all the tools, and can also be used as a handheld (which will beat any car vacuum that you can buy anywhere).
If you are looking for a decent cordless vacuum cleaner you really can’t go wrong with this one, it’s phenomenal!!
I find this cleaner very handy as it reaches under the bed and is very flexible. I find, when detaching the head, and using the small brush for dusting that it is very heavy and reaching the entire width of flat tables is hampered by the heavy unit. It charges quickly and has increased suction options. Good value for money and I use it every day. Not the easiest cleaner to empty.
Good suction, easy to use, but is heavier than other brands
Cleans well, easy to maintain. Beware of the ” stand up ” function it’s not very safe and after falling needed a replacement collection chamber which cost 50.
Our Dyson V8 died after years of daily use (2 Labradors) also just moved house which is all carpeted. Bought this on sale at almost half RRP. After reading it is a WHICH best buy, no wonder it is brilliant, easy to assemble, nice charging system, lasts ages on a charge – we only use low setting as on full can hardly move it the suction is that strong. Cons are it is slightly shorter than the Dyson so angle of use taking some getting used to, the dust collector a bit smaller than we are used to. The floor bar makes a squeaky sound (Which moan about this too) a brilliant piece of kit at full price but to get it at half price was a right result. We won’t be going back to Dyson that’s for sure.
It is loud. Heavy on the top. Due to this dropped once and the barrel is cracked, so it has stopped working.
Called Amazon they said as accidental damage not covered under warranty so connected my call to BEKO to see if I could get a replacement part.
BEKO were very helpful and will send a replacement part 🙂
I am disabled with MS, permanently using a power wheelchair. I consequently employ a cleaner once a week to clean my 3 bedroom bungalow. At present I have a big old heavy Orek vacuum which she hates and of course I can’t use in between her visits. So as several friends have different cordless vacuums I asked their advice and someone brought one in to try. I loved it, so researched and chose this one as it had very good reviews and I have several Beko products and like them. It’s not as light as some of the others, but I can use it. I like it’s stand so I don’t need to hang it on the wall.
I have had it for 3 months now. Generally my philosophy is you get what you pay for, so I was initially wary of paying so little for the Beko, but this was a Which? recommended product and got good reviews. I have previously only had Dyson rechargeable vacuum cleaners so my review of the Beko will inevitably be comparing it with the Dyson range.
Cons: 1. Not as solidly constructed as the Dyson models. 2. Floor head can be difficult to push on some carpets – you have to jiggle with the angle. 3. Filter needs very frequent washing. I have ordered a spare to avoid having the cleaner out of action for 24 hours while it drys. It is very easy to remove and wash it though. 4. Dust container is quite small. 5. Being a Turkish firm, Probably not as good after-sales service as the Dysons, although I have not had to try this out, and I suspect spares might be an issue, given the trouble I had sourcing a spare filter. This model does not appear at all on the Beko website! I would be interested to hear from Beko on this (but I have not tried phoning, maybe that is the way to do it)
Pros: MUCH better designed ergonomically than the Dysons: it is easy and instinctive to add and remove the accessories, empty the dust holder etc. My wife has arthritis in the fingers and could not manage altering accessories and emptying the Dysons, but has no problem with the Beko. 2. Very good battery life and perfectly adequate suction on the lowest setting. 3. Choice of free standing or hanging on a wall. 4. Recharges quickly. 5. Lightweight and manoeuvrable and works well with the tube removed to use on upholstery, car, etc. 6. Deals with pet hairs exceptionally well. 7. VERY good value. Given how well this performs, it would still be great value at twice the price.
Although I suspect it will not be as robust or last as long as the Dysons, it is so cheap that I thoroughly recommend this vacuum cleaner.
Had this for a month now to replace an ageing corded dyson. Bought based upon which reviews and am very happy with it. Great suctionn as good if not better tham the dyson and I’ve come nowhere close to using much of the battwery in a three bedroomed house. It felt a little heavy on the wrist to begin with but have got used to it. Great for stairs and car. The attachments are all useful and I like the stand rather than having to mount it on the wall. Read some reviews about it being fiddly to empty but I didn’t find it a problem. It’s a good, effective affordable cordless hoover. How it fairs further down the line remains to be seen, but currently n9 concerns or regrets whatsoever. Only gave 4 stars as I dont have another cordless vacuum to compare it with.
I looked at the product reviews for this item and it was recommended as good or better than more expensive models. I have only just started to use it but it is easy to use and has great suction. I have only given 4 stars as I need to use it a little while longer to make a more informed review – but so far very good
Excellent suction power – just a shame on full power the battery doesn’t last long
I live in a relatively small flat so making the most out of the space is important. It packs away onto the mount neatly and doesn’t take up too much space. When I need to charge it, I just flick it on at the switch and top it up.
The hoover itself is surprisingly powerful, and its quite satisfying to see all the dust that you’ve collected. You will need to empty it regularly so that for me is the only downside but it does hold a lot of dust before you need to empty it again.
As for battery life, it lasts a bit longer than it states in the manual and so long as you remember to charge it after each use, it shouldn’t run out on you. I discovered also that you can buy spare or replacement batteries for it if you need the extra juice.
Very good products, a lot of suction power, easy to use, very good battery….
Excellent suction on floor and flat surfaces but heavier than my old Dyson but cost less than half the price
Good suction, easy empty, does a good job for an upright vac, for a light, stick, outstanding
I like this hoover. It does what I need. The battery life is OK but wouldn’t do my entire house in one hit. Not great if you’re after a deep clean ie. Nooks and crannies. But is ideal for a quick clean. Not keen on the brush attachment as it stays upright. So can only be used for flat surfaces as it doesn’t swivel so difficult to use on things like my plantation shutters. Overall it’s good. Oh and the instructions are terrible.
This is one of the best cordless vacuums i’ve come across. i’ve used non brand ones and brands one and I must say this one has been a good choice.
ill breakdown the pros and cons of this cleaner below:
pros:
– great powerful suction power even on the lowest setting. the highest setting gives those really nice carpet lines and on vinyl flooring its suction is really strong it pulls the vinyl up 🙁
– the transition from carpet to vinyl or laminate flooring is smooth
– parts are easy to clean, you can remove the bin, the filter and the brush head and wash all these parts however its a little hard to remove the roller brush i just wish it included a tool to open the brush-head but a flathead screwdriver will do the job
– the charge time is brilliant it lasts quite a long time i am able to clean 4 medium sized rooms in one charge it does take up to 4 hours to fully charge
– when charging there are three light dots which flash whilst charging and shows you when its fully charged all three lights will be on constant
– has a light strip at the bottom of the brush-head to see all the dirt and make sure none is left
– comes with a few accessories i’ve not actually used these yet but will update review when i do
also included an extra filter and a brush-head
– the bin allows to hold in quite a bit of dirt and doesn’t affect the performance of the vacuum
– great design and is lightweight can take it around the house without a problem
– the base to keep it in one place is the best thing i love about this as it comes with a heavy base and not one that you have to mount to a wall therefore no need for any screws and drilling holes. it also has sections to keep all your accessories in one place
– the anti-flex design is great allows you to reach hard to reach places without having to bend down
cons:
– doesn’t pick up dirt that is bigger than a 5p
– i do find that on vinyl flooring the dirt tends to get pushed around so im having to vacuum over places that ive already been over
– not so much a bad point but i would have liked to see an extra battery pack to keep charged as the charging time for this is quite long.
at time of purchase the price is 239
as you can see the pros outweigh the cons and i’m definitely impressed with this and would recommend purchase. absolutely value for money
Very pleased with this cordless vacuum; it’s light and easy to manoeuvre but effective. Really like the Turbo boost and the fact that it has a bending “elbow” to reach difficult places under beds and cupboards.
It’s quiet too
Easy to use.Efficient in its efforts to suck up dust, dirt and similar from all kind of flooring. Also additional add ons, can collect spiders webs etc, from walls and ceilings.Certainly better than standard floor cleaners.
Finally decided to buy a cordless cleaner and went with the one recommended by Which. It’s the top of the less expensive ones. And I love it! Things to look out for: it isn’t that light (you have to get used to holding it in a different way to a traditional vacuum cleaner and once you do it is lighter), putting it together takes a while (assign 10-15 minutes and read the instructions carefully), emptying the ‘bag’ (there isn’t a bag, but it does still need to be emptied, and it’s fiddly, but apparently all cordless ones are). Really good for suction, keeps its charge for ages, super easy to use, and so much more convenient for doing stairs. Waaay more effective than my trusty Henry!
Slightly heavy in handheld mode, but only after some time. Charge lasts well in standard power mode and suction is plenty strong enough in standard mode. Easy to manoeuvre and tidy to store away.
I’ve had this cleaner for a month . Overall it’s been a good experience.
What I haven’t tested yet , is the longterm performance of suction , filter & battery
Pro’s
Low cost
“Which” recommended .
Easy to put together out of the box.
Floor stand is free , for other manufacturers it’s a paid for addition .
Cons
So far minor . Dust collector is quite small & we found initially awkward to flip open the lid .
Attachments can be quite stiff to put on & loose

This is a review of two parts. First the good; to be exact first the very good. This is an excellent vacuum. It’s cordless and runs off a substantial Li-Ion cell so that I’ve never run out of charge while using it. Because the vacuum itself is at the top end of the top it means that the standard wide range of attachments is supplemented by the ability to bend that main tube. It also means that in use the whole thing can have the main tube removed and be made into quite a convenientlittle hand held vacuum. Possibly the only downside here is that with the batteries and mechanics at the top end it is a little top heavy but that is minor. Overall this gets full marks for the vacuum.
On the other hand there is the stand. The stand provides a frame which holds all the attachments and charging station and a wall mounted home for the vacuum. The big offence here is that none of the above are necessary and they have all been badly implemented.
First – the charging port. This is charged by a simple plug in transformer and there is nothing wrong with that. Except that the transformer does not plug into the vacuum. The transmformer has a fairly standard 5mm plug but there is no socket on the vacuum. The transformer plugs into the stand and then there are a couple of electrical contacts on the back of the stand which connect to the vacuum. Why not just put the socket on the vacuum. Then I’m not in the situation where I have to use the stand, not in the situation where if the plastic on the stand breaks the entire thing becomes landfill (or do what I did and bypass the stand with a new socket retrofitted to the vacuum – seriously voids the warranty but its a lot more useful).
Secondly – because the vacuum is top heavy the stand can screw to the wall. The problem here is that the back of the stand is absolutely flat so if your wall has skirting boards then the stand will not sit flat against the wall so that screw fitting is a wasted effort.
Third the stand has a weight presumably to help stability except that heavy as it is it is not up to countering the weight of the vacuum. It is held to the stand by a magnet except that is so strong that on lifting this the stand usually falls over.
Possibly the biggest error though is that the instructions say that you must not leave this on charge. But as the contact between stand and vacuum is always there then the only way to do that it to take the transformer out. At that point you discover that the plug at the back of the stand is covered if you fix it to the wall so the transformer will now be kicking around at floor level and vulnerable.
Overall this seems like it has been designed by two teams. The team who designed the vacuum really know what they’re doing. On the other hand the team that designed the stand don’t.
Recommended with a caveat about the stand.
Originally said it was heavy but got used to it. The little roller wheels on the foot are annoying as they make a lot of noise when you vacuum. Battery should last for 45min but says on medium runs out after 25min. Not too sure on the price as all the other branded ones are quite dear so its a mid range score for value for money.
We had a Dyson before and found it was very noisy unlike the beko. The stand is a great idea to store and charge and hold all the tools.
I found the use of the Hoover very easy too.
Only downside is small capacity, just need to empty frequently.
Easy to set up and use. Very useful light on suction area of vac . Suction good as long as you empty contents often. A bit on the heavy side but useful self standing function. Charge easily lasts long enough for whole house. Good purchase. Recommended in which? Magazine.
Beko are making a big play of the recharging dock which has a noticeably weighty base so it stays upright, with the option of securing to a wall. This holds all the accessories and recharges the battery via spring contacts to the head-unit. This works well, the only downside being you must return the unit to the dock as there is no socket on the head unit itself.
The instructions are just OK, being many small pictures and loads of safety warnings. However, assembly and use is reasonably obvious including how to remove and wash the two filter packs. A spare of the cylinder filter is provided.
I found cleaning power was very good with the power heads giving good pickup on carpets plus the crevice tool was great for skirting boards etc. The small motorised head was good for stairs. The vacuum unit isn’t too heavy and the noise when on ‘max’ isn’t objectionable.
What I found odd was that for cleaning parquet etc. you’re supposed to swap the roller in the motorised head. This requires releasing a fiddly bracket then swapping the roller – I can’t see many people bothering to be honest. I preferred the Shark unit which has a carpet/hard surface switch to change. Odd that Beko make this such a fiddly task – unless you’re entire house is parquet or vinyl flooring!
Beko have the same ability to flex the long shaft as Shark; ironically that’s a feature I’ve rarely used on my Shark. More useful on the Beko is the soft brush with elbow to allow dusting and use on curtains.
The basics of opening to empty the dust collector etc. work as you’d expect; I’d have preferred a simple lo/hi switch instead of having to repeatedly press the +/- buttons to control suction.
I quite liked the muted grey and black colour scheme, it helps disguise the unit on the recharging dock unlike units in garish colours.
Things to note, the battery can only recharged in the head unit placed in the dock. One upside for the Shark is the twin battery charging unit so a battery swap keeps the unit running. Beko claim their unit runs for 45mins, I expect that is on minimum suction power!
All in all, I’d say this unit gives good cleaning performance for the price with a useful range of accessories. The docking station means storage in airing cupboard or closet (so long as it’s near an electrical outlet) is simplified.
Recommended unless you need specific Shark features such as twin batteries.
My favorite cleaning appliance. I vacuum everyday instead of once a week now, as this made vacuuming so much easier.
Although it’s a bit heavy, but I don’t mind compared to using a vacuum with a cord which you need to plug and unplug when you are in different rooms.
This vacuum can suck dust with just the first level of sucking strength, I have long hair and our previous vacuum takes a long time to get rid of hair on the floor. With this you just need to increase the strength of sucking and it will quickly get rid of hair on the carpet.
It has 3 different nozzles, one for smaller space, and crevices, and a brush which I usually use as furniture duster.
I can vacuum the while house without recharging. Usually when I put it back to its charging port, only one battery indicator comes off.
The charging port can stand by itself as it is weighted at the bottom. You can attach all the nozzles in the port as well which is pretty handy.
Highly recommended for those who still have strong arms or wanted to have their arm exercise daily as the vacuum is heavier than a normal vacuum.
Really pleased with this vacuum, much better than the shark I replaced. Good suction, nice weight, good attachments very happy
Difficult to use after GT. But once I get used to it it will be a good machine.
It almost makes vacuuming a pleasure, as it’s light and always ready. It it’s your first cleaner with a powered brush you may find in frequently needs emptying. It is very efficient at collecting hairs you’ve missed before.
I have not had it that long to test it fully so have reserved a star but it is very light and so convenient not to have a cord. If you have pv panels you can also help the environment when you charge it. The dust box is quite small so it needs to be emptied after one or two uses but this is very easy to do.
Not quite Dyson but 10/10 for the price.
I have this and a Dyson cordless, I prefer the Dyson slightly, it seems to glide along the floor a bit more nicely than Beko but is it worth twice the price, no it’s not.
If price point is high up your list, I’d definitely go for the Beko, it’s great value for money and works a treat.
This cordless is light weight, easy to use, very handy for cleaning stairs as well as under furniture and general vacuuming. I also really like the charging and accessory station, it’s all very neat and tidy, actually nicer than the Dyson one.
Great mount to charge and store, easy to install, easy to use and works well, vacuumed the whole of my 3 bed house including stairs and still had battery power left.
It is hardly surprising that this vacuum seems a great advance on our old Dyson v6 but my wife and I are pleasantly surprised just how good this Beko appears to be. It is not at all heavy in use and and the noise reported by some to be an issue, appears quite quiet to us – and we have always chosen other appliances that are noted to be quiet. All in all we are delighted with the product but time will tell.
Excellent, how ever I think the instructions could be cleare
I bought this item to use in our motor home and replace a wired vacuum cleaner which wasn’t good. We have two dogs, one is a yellow Labrador who continually sheds. This item is great at picking up his fur on n the lowest setting. I am extremely satisfied with this item.
Not too heavy, great stand/charger point and very easy to use. Suction is great.
Excellent tool and attachments, very well packed. In use the item is somewhat top heavy, the price one pays for a good battery.
Really good powerful vacuum. So far so good. The container for dust /fluff etc seems to fill up fast. It could be that the Beko is cleaning more thoroughly than my plug in one as it has settled down a bit now. But the dust receptacle is small-ish. Only 2 bugbears so far – first the only literature that came with it was assembly diagrams and we are still a little puzzled to find out all the Beko can do with attachments. But very pleased with purchase and excellent value.
I am 76 and have a chronic pain condition so it is very important for me to have a light, easy to use vacuum cleaner. This one is ideal for me as, as well as being light, it is very easy to disassemble and reassemble. Previous, more popular and more expensive, cordless cleaners have been too heavy and very difficult to take apart to clean – and they didn’t last as long as I would have expected.
The other features I like are the LED light on the brush and that you can leave it on the stand to recharge without having to attach it to the wall.
The suction power is very good on all surfaces, in fact on carpets the highest setting is so powerful that it is very hard to move.
The only thing to be careful of is that the suction does fall away a lot when the hepa filter is dirty, and this is recommended to be changed every 3 to 6 months, however beko seem to be unable to supply a new one.
Love this. Not too heavy. Really efficient at lifting the dirt. Has made vacuuming the stairs so much easie
