The camera was very easy to connect and is giving some excellent shots. The LED really helps to capture excellent images of night time visitors – I use it to monitor hedgehogs.

As the price was very reasonable I wasnt quite sure what the quality of the item would be like but I am very impressed, very well made with a 2 year warranty and a good team on hand that assisted me with setting up . Picture quality is very good and the app has a lot of functions and is easy to navigate.

Small discreet camera, good picture and video. Has siren alarm and light. Would recommend solar panel if not using mains power as would have to climb up to take the camera down and recharge. Not had it long enough to know how long the battery lasts without charge. Easy to install and set up.
I had a problem with a camera, about which Cooau exchanged several emails offering advice how to reactivate it. Unfortunately none worked. However Cooau replaced the camera with a new one woithout requiring me to return the defunct one. Another camera has worked well for a long time.
The problem has been resolved and Cooau gave brilliant service.

The camera was very east to install as was the app. It was up and running in 10 minutes. It has linked easily and I know have remote security. Very reasonably priced for what it provides.

I purchased the second camera for the front garden. It is easy to add to the app and I can see my front garden anytime. I often take a business trip left my family behind. Today I also communicated with my family via this camera. The camera has a very good mic. In overall, it is a good product.
Pleased so far with camera for a budget security device. Has lots of useful features such as the motion triggered light which is handy by my front door for dark nights, and although it’s a subtle light it goes a long way for the colour night vision. You can also activate the light and siren on demand via the app. The picture is good and clear, and quite detailed close up, although for distance detail you may need a higher spec. Works well on wifi but also sends notifications to my phone when away from home. Live viewing is also possible at home or away via the app. There is a good amount of flexibility on the settings, sensitivity levels, alarms etc. I haven’t used the cloud storage to be able to comment on that, as I purchased an sd card which stores and enables viewing of the footage. Battery life seems pretty good so far. The microphone picks up from quite some distance too. It also has a 2 way intercom that I haven’t used yet. It’s early days but so far I’m very happy with it.
The Pros:
The setup is pretty straightforward and the 2k quality is good too. The battery lasts a long time (weeks) so long as you don’t access the camera too often and trigger the LED light. I have a mix of USB powered cameras and a couple which just rely on the battery as I could not get a USB cable long enough to reach them. You have to be mindful that a cable over 5m starts to create issues as there is not enough power to drive the camera beyond this distance, so the camera probably would not work if use a cable greater than 5m. The mounting bracket is pretty sturdy and the camera holds its position well enough. The app is reasonable — not quite as intuitive as it could be but good enough for the main tasks required. So far the cameras have withstood a broad range of weather, including rain, and they seem to be holding up well. The LED light is ok too as is the loudspeaker but you can get some sound issues which are more related to Wifi than anything else, so you end up with a bit of jitter from time-to-time.
The Cons:
There is a terrible lag with the motion detection. Even when you have the sensitivity setting set to the maximum, the camera does not start recording until the subject is almost on top of the camera. This is the case on all of the 7 cameras I have purchased so I can confidently say that it’s not a one-off issue. This was them main reason I did not give the product a higher rating. This might seem relatively minor but there have been several occasions now where I have wanted to see the face of someone as they walked up the drive, and all I end up seeing is the back of their head as they go past the camera. The night vision is ok but anything beyond a few metres and you’d be lucky to make anyone out (I couldn’t even recognise my own son one evening).
Summary:
You get what you pay for. If you really need something for security purposes then I would highly recommend spending a bit more and going for a higher quality product. If, however, you just want to be notified when the postman has been, or to check on the dog in the back yard, then this product is perfectly satisfactory. Its best feature is a good image quality (2k version) and it has a reasonable app. The worst feature (by far) is the terrible reactivity to any motion. So its 3-4 stars from me but because of the relatively low price, I’ll give it a 4.

Picture quality is great and you can easily see faces and number plates on our street.
The speaker means you can clearly be heard by anyone in the picture. Battery life is good to and it’s very simple to take down and charge. It is extremely good value for money.

I don’t normally write reviews on purchases, but I felt compelled to let people know that this is an absolutely brilliant piece of kit for the money.
Bought this camera for the front door as a trial security tool with a view to buying another for the back of the house if it was any good. Sufficed to say there is another one on the way.
Super easy to set up. The only key consideration is WiFi strength which needs to be good, especially if you are going to use it outside. I ended up using a cheap WiFi extender and plugged it in near the front door and it has provided the required signal strength.
Any movement near the front door (night or day) is picked up immediately and I’m alerted via the APP which in turn pings my Apple Watch. Already I’ve seen the benefit: delivery drivers leaving parcels for all to see on my step, allowing me to alert someone to collect it. I’ve seen family and friends calling when I’ve been out. You also have the ability to speak with anyone that the camera picks up.
Honestly, if you’re thinking of buying one, you won’t be disappointed.
I bought a couple of these and have found them to be excellent quality. However after 4 months one of my cameras became unresponsive and would not charge. I was a little concerned about whether this would be covered under manufacturers warranty but I need not have been. I contacted the after sales support by email and they were more than helpful. After a few email exchanges to test a few things it became apparent that any remote fixes were not going to work. At this point the company agreed to send me a new camera which arrived quickly. All done and dusted within a week or so and no hassle whatsoever. I would definitely recommend this seller. Best after sales service I’ve ever had! It’s a great little camera. Clear picture and easy to set up.
Ordered after reading the positive reviews and so glad I did. So easy to setup and the quality of the product and the video feed it excellent both day and night. The alerts come through to my phone straight away when there is any movement in the area I have set it up in. I have already passed the details on to a few of my friends. Ordering another soon.
Picture quality is very clear, can easily see faces and number plates within a reasonable distance. Easy to use app with various options for motion sensors, timers, playback etc. Good motion detector alarm which picks up human movement after approximately 4 seconds. (Would be good to be able to adjust this with any future updates)

Bought this camera as I’ve been having problems with a group of teens. We went for this because it’s battery powered and I didn’t really want to hard wire a camera to the house. It’s great, you’re not forced into a subscription as you can pop in a memory card. Picture quality is brilliant, motion sensors are also fab. Would definitely recommend and I think I’m even going to look at their camera doorbell next 🙂
Bought this camera, on the back of many positive reviews… here’s my honest review.
QUALITY: States it’s a 1080p camera, i’d say it’s close to this resolution. The footage is clear and crisp, and the camera has very good wide angle coverage.
NIGHT MODE: The camera automatically detects night mode when it’s low light, and works very well. Again, the picture is good with decent clarity and you can make things out very clearly.
MOTION DETECTION: This is generally good, but some software updates can make it better… On the app, the default setting is 8 (out of 10), and this generally picks people/movement up within the cameras view. There was a couple of times, when the camera failed to pick up say our dog in the garden, and also it’s sometimes a little slow to pick up human movement. As a suggestion to the manufacturer, i’d make the camera more intelligent by thinking more intelligently on movement. I had a couple of occassions where the camera picks up movement late, then sends a notification. Ideally, I want the camera to pick up as soon as it notices any movement within it’s field of view, and then record at least 30 seconds to 1 minute, predicting more movement.I appreciate there’s a battery management issue here, but this is important and integral to why people by security cameras.
BATTERY: Generally seems good. I’d recommend you take the manufacturers advice and charge it fully BEFORE you set it up, to allow the camera to perform at maximum capacity and as best as it can.
APP: ‘CloudEdge’ is the app that the manufacturer uses. It’s generally straight forward to use – I wish it had more recording time when it picks up movement. Also, when you get a notification, rather than clicking the notification to only see a screen capture of what the movement is, it’d be better to click on the notification and go straight to the video clip of what’s been recorded. Also, the pricing for the cloud service seems slightly expensive, also i’d improve the cloud storage time to at least 90 days of footage stored. This would be far more helpful for the money.
VALUE FOR MONEY? For the price, this is a very good camera with a lot of positives – i’d recommend it to anyone who’s looking to buy one – I hope that the manufacturer takes on board my suggestions and thoughts, to help improve the security aspect of the camera and the overall user experience.

This is a great camera especially in those situations where it’s difficult to have a wired camera. Has the convenience of being fully portable and holds its charge very well. Very good picture quality day or night.

I brought 2 of these camera back in February. Setup was relatively easy. The night vision is not the best. However what I’m really unhappy about is that both cameras now do not work. I’ve tried charging them and resetting them. I’ve wasted hours trying to get them working again and I’ve come to the conclusion that they are broke and not as weather proof as described. Very disappointed.

Both the cameras are still broke. However Amanda reached out to me and is going to replace them. I do like the cameras. I hope the replacements will last a little longer this time.

My Shetland pony was at great risk having her foal I used it to monitor her in her shelter. The camera showed her on the ground and I was able to get an emergency vet within 25 mins .
Without the camera I would’ve had no idea it was happening until the following morning . Foal delivered safely and mum could get the emergency treatment too.
Can’t compare this with any other camera but for the money it’s well made easy to set up and at the moment works perfectly. Battery lasts a long time between charges.

This camera was easy to set up I Downloaded the cloud Edge App put a 128gb micro memory card in the camera. You format the memory card in the app took about 20 seconds to do .The Camera easily set up.
I had a technical problem with Camera. Amazon’s excellent customer service (Via Live Chat) put me through to the Company Support. The Customer support for COOAU were very quick to respond, giving excellent support to me and a swift resolution to my issue.
Quick and cheap way to protect your property and long lasting battery. Works great as long as Wi-fi is strong enough. Much better that a well known competitor I used before.
Excellent bit of kit for the money, really impressed with night vision picture quality and overall picture quality.
Decent enough battery life, lasts around one month with an average of 20-30 motion detections per day because it’s near to my plants that blow in the wind and set the camera off (this doesn’t bother me in the slightest, I’ve seen other people moaning about it)
The App is very easy to use with NO SUBSCRIPTION COSTS unlike most other similar products, very impressed and when the time comes I’ll add more of the same type of camera to my home security because you can just add additional devices to the app.

This item was purchased for use outside of my cats cat-flap to check up on him and also deter people from trying to gain access via the flap. It’s been fantastic. The battery life is great and I live in a very busy area and receive around 20 notifications daily. It’s very simple to take down and charge every 3-4 weeks which hasn’t bothered me, however I’m sure there are solar panels that can be purchased to continuously power the battery that way too.
Brilliant picture, clarity and the audio is also fantastic. Love how you can speak to others outside from the use of the CloudEdge app too. Overall very very pleased!

The camera is very simple to setup by downloading an app, which provides a decent range of functions. The motion detection is effective and can be adjusted as required. The live image and captured shots are both of a good quality. The battery is lasting well and I’m not expecting to have to recharge it for a number of weeks. An excellent camera for the price.
Great little camera my only issue is the battery life. After a full 10 hour charge the camera has lasted about 12 days.
With this in mind it’s probably not great if you want to get away for 2 week holiday.

The camera came yesterday and the box and camera looks real and solid , unlike the filmsy one. i charge the batter for a couple of hours and install the app. Still early days though, but happy with my purchase.
I was looking for a cheaper alternative to the Ring doorbell and this ticks all the boxes. It was easy to install and setup straight out the box, it has excellent motion detection (I had to turn down the sensitivity quite a lot as it was picking up every car or pedestrian walking down my road) and the intercom and recording features are extremely helpful. We bought this camera a while back but have held back on writing a review until it’s been properly tested. All in all it works exactly as planned and it’s survived some serious wind and rain without issues. The image is fine day and night and the speaker means you can clearly be heard by anyone in the vicinity of the unit. The only word of warning would be to check that it will fit if you’re planning on installing it in a specific place. We didn’t think to check and found that it didn’t fit in our preferred place so we had to find somewhere else to install it.

Do not get many false alarms and the battery life is fantastic. Good support from cooau initially when the mounting bracket failed (replaced within a week). I would recommend this camera.

The camera serves the purpose but one thing I have to mention is the screw plugs are terribly made. I have to buy new screw plugs to install the camera.
We use the camera for monitoring our cat. The picture quality is not 1080 but around 480 I would say.
Using for indoors ..when on motion it makes a noise . Very annoying ..I also have problems with playing back history from SD card ..wants me to subscribe.customer service however has been great and I was refunded for the cameras. So worth trying out for yourselves.

Having read the reviews I decided to purchase as I needed a camera which can be both portable and not hardwired.I have to say I am very surprised how good this is.Very easy to set up and the picture quality on HD is very clear.The ability to zoom in on items makes it even better.Early days to fully comment on battery life but so far so good.
