They are perfectly fine (actually ideal) when put together. BUT – DO NOT USE POWER TOOLS TO ASSEMBLE THE STAND! The sidewalls are too thin to withstand high torque that you can develop with power tools. Sort of con… the tray for holding markers does not want to stay in place. (One of the sides ‘clicked’ when I pushed it together but the other side did not.) This is a really minor issue. I will likely add a drop or two of silicone glue to hold it in place. PROS: – and there were a lot of them. Packaging was excellent. That is not to say the board could not be damaged by an aggressive carrier – but anyone reasonable will get it to your door just fine. My box had a few nicks – but the seller anticipated these and packed it accordingly. Setup was relatively easy with the tools provided. There are instructions – one side of a piece of paper – that are reasonably easy to follow. (Just drawing of pieces, letters (‘A’, ‘B’…) labeling the parts and where they go, numbers of each, and arrows for order. AGAIN USE THE TOOLS THEY PROVIDE! Once the board is together it has a heft to it – and does not wobble. Still it is easy to move around and it is stable when used. Board surface seems to be of very high quality. (Time will tell… but I have used enough white boards that this seems to be excellently made.) Uncertain items: There were two additional pieces in my package of parts that were not in the instructions. They look like hooks to hang things on the board – but I am not certain…. The board was relatively easy to put together. The instructions were clear, and it was assembled in about an hour. Once or twice, my husband had difficulty fitting parts together, but with a little elbow grease, the board came together. Set up, the board is very lightweight, an aspect that lends itself to greater portability but less stability. The entire easel rolls easily, whether pushed or pulled, and is light enough to move with one hand. Because of the lightweight aluminum, the board rocks gently when it’s being written on, even when the wheel lock is engaged. The wheel lock effectively stops the rolling but doesn’t stabilize the board enough to stop the gentle shaking when in use. Additionally, the board makes a rather irritating squeaking noise while it’s being written on. I’m sure some WD-40 would solve the problem, but we haven’t used any yet. The board erases cleanly. The small tray on the middle bar is convenient for storing an eraser and extra markers. We love that the board is magnetic, and we’ve used one side to hold posters while we write on the other side. It’s the perfect height for me (I’m 5’8″) and I use it every day. However, when it arrived, the package had been punctured by something about 2 inches in diameter, leaving one side of the board with a small dent. I decided to put a magnet over it since it was along the edge and now I don’t notice it. The product was packaged well, but something stronger simply won. I wouldn’t have been able to fit the package in my car to get it to a UPS store to return anyway. For the price, I don’t think you’ll find a much better whiteboard on rollers. The frame is fairly sturdy but wobbles a bit when I press down hard with a marker. The markers and eraser that come with this product are crap, go buy some Expos. Apart from that, good product. Stephanie Valera says: 29/07/2015 at The board is solid, substantial, and smooth. It is heavy and that is important as I can write on it without having to lock the wheels and it will not move. The framing components are made of a strong, light weight aluminum with a beautiful, modern matte finish. The few plastic pieces this unit has are high quality, thick, and durable. It comes with a set of markers and an eraser but they are more like a started set. You will want to get a set of expos. The rotation mechanism is a good design. The assembly instructions are a single sheet with just diagrams, but they are pretty clear. Assembly was easy with the tools provided. Update: I am so pleased with the seller! There was a quality control issue that was discovered after the 30 day return period.
