This is the first Nintendo video game in which players compete in fun activities while staring into each other’s eyes instead of at the TV screen.
From Wild West gunslinging to copying each other’s dance moves, the games in 1-2-Switch make creative use of a broad variety of Nintendo Switch features to liven up parties with anyone, anywhere, at any time.
Each game takes advantage of the Joy-Con controller features of the Nintendo Switch system in different ways. While the action unfolds off- screen, the audience watches the players themselves instead of the screen. That makes it as hilarious to watch as it is to play â an instant party amplifier!
Key Features
Face-to-Face Play â Look at your friends rather than the screen as you compete in a new style of video game party full of fast and fun face-to-face games.
Anywhere with anyone!
Intuitive and simple controls using Joy-Con features â Simple rules make it easy for anyone to play and fun for everyone to watch.

My 8 year old granddaughter loved it. I found it better than some of the games she has and reasonable value for money. Having said that, all games are expensive!
Great game for the whole family. A little something for everyone. Plenty of laughs and hopefully if we ever have normal get togethers again it will make for a fun night with a o
Bought this for my grandson, aged 9, for christmas. He loved it! Played with his brother, 11 years old. It also went down well with all the visiting adults as well, everyone had a great time playing and it got very competitive at times. Some of the games were also very amusing. This game was great value for money! Highly recommend!
This is absolutely brilliant for my 8 and 10 year old daughters. They can spend hours playing with this, and it doesn’t seem to have that slightly stressy feel that games like Super Mario leave you with.
..especially the beach flag/running one – it’s so clever how it shows the results on the screen and makes you feel like you are on the beach! the telephone one is great too. I play with my 7 year son.
Another great game by Nintendo. I brought the switch specifically for this game. I often have guests at home who are extended members of family and it’s usually ” how are you?”, ” I am fine?” And you know the rest a boring 2 hour visit with lunch.
I went to a cousins house and he had the switch and this game and told me his experience of bringing this out kids and adults playing the the short fun games.
I can confirm that it make visits from people who I don’t know super well fun ( i have a ultra large extended family being from an Asian family).
Nintendo don’t have the best graphics the most realistic physics. It’s not for the hard core gamer. It’s for the people who want to bring people together which I love in technology.
My one star reduction is because there is simply not enough games in the game ( the game is a set of mini games).
My 5 year old daughter loves this game, evrn more so once we unlocked the broader range of activities. The gaming concept is simple, playing various physical activities to beat your opponent. Great fun for all the family. Yes there’s no smart graphics but this game doesn’t need it, it just shows what an innovative bit of kit the Switch really is.
This game is brilliant. We purchased for the second time for a family member as we loved it ourselves so much, great family fun which some console games do not allow for.
HOURS of fun… so many games and easy if you just want a quick game or a whole afternoon of family fun challenging each other. Keeps the kids active too.
Great game if you can get it in the 25 region, wouldn’t pay 40+ for it but had friends over and played it for a good 3 hours with them, really easy to understand the mini games and they’re well explained.
Just a note when you first play the game it only lets you play a limited selection of the easier mini games for a while until it thinks you have got used to the controls and then you unlock the entire game, not sure why…
This is a great fun family game good for parties. You do have to be prepared to be quite active and on a couple of the “fighting” games the distance between players is quite large or you have accidents! so you need a good size room. Cheaper than lots of other Switch games so makes a great addition.
My kids, hubby and I have spent ages playing this game. Basically you look at each other during games (I’m guessing to put them off?) There are plenty of different games and obvs some are more popular than others. But we feel this game is worth the money. Kids love it!
Age has no barrier with this game. Just speed and a good heart rate required. As people stated once completed a number games many more appear. Absolutely the best buy for a rainy day for children of all ages……Oh and adults.
Very fun and good for a couple of laughs. I do think the 30 price tag is a little bit much, however, for what is essentially a demonstration of the Joy-Con’s many features – and I can’t see myself playing the game for very long. Personally, I think it would’ve been better off as a bundle game. Despite this, I still enjoy playing it and recommend it to anyone seeking some quick fun.
My daughter had this for Xmas at first I didn’t think much of it but once all the other games got unlocked this is a lot of fun and over Xmas this game was enjoyed from 9 year olds -75 year old also my daughter said it’s the best game she’s ever had.
Great fun game, but can’t help thinking that Nintendo were doing a CASH COW buy not bundling it with the Nintendo Switch Console. The game has great playability, replay value and lots of variation in games. It suitable for 2 players or more and is really fun in team mode. We laughed a lot at some go the games.
Loads of fun for everyone, great for when you have people around. Doesn’t get boring because there’s plenty of games and everyone is trying to beat high scores!
I’ll go against the grain here and say it is worth the current price, where has everyone been for the last 10 years? 34 is cheap for a game.
Of course, you won’t want to be playing on your own and why would you, kept me and everyone else entertained for the whole night and can see it doing so for a while, not daily as who has a party daily, but for a good long while until they bring out another party game.
A lot of fun. More of a party game, as per the product description that it will ‘liven up any party’. Several reviewers seem to miss the point of what it’s about – clearly designed to be picked up by family and friends with a few of the mini games randomly selected, and not to be taken too seriously..Shows off the controls capabilities nicely too. Apparently more mini games will be added at a later date for download, but as it comes with 28, the choice is decent. My 7 year old son loves it too, and I reckon he’ll be playing it for quite some time yet..
If you have a Switch and you have a group of friends around, this is A LOT of fun. It is actually very well thought through and produced and is a brilliant demonstration of what is possible with the Joy-con controllers.
The only reason it isn’t 5 stars is because I agree with many reviewers that it is a little over priced. It should really have been included with the Switch, or as a standalone game, around 20.
I hope this inspires more developers to produce more party games for the Switch, as it has huge potential in this area.
This is one of Nintendo’s comeback games in my opinion. The concept is fresh and you are more focused on your opponent than on the screen, which is absolutely brilliant. Played this with my family for hours.
Love this game so far, me, my family & friends can’t get enough of it, it’s like the Nintendo Wii on the go.
Some great games especially after a few beers, not tooany but just enough to get you tipsy & then this is AMAZING, I highly recommend False Quick Drae (mint game)
I know this has had some shocking reviews all over the on & here but you have got to look at it like this, it’s a children’s/young adults console on the go & this game hits the nail on the head
NOTE: remember to always use straps for the games you can have them attached & you need to play all first seven games to unlock all 28
Enjoy & be aware of your surroundings
My 8 year old granddaughter loved it. I found it better than some of the games she has and reasonable value for money. Having said that, all games are expensive!
Brilliant game brought for Xmas games and definitely use again and again. Great for games nights
A bit of family fun. All 3 of my children, of different ages like it.
Great game for the whole family. A little something for everyone. Plenty of laughs and hopefully if we ever have normal get togethers again it will make for a fun night with a o
Great game and give the player a great feel how to use tge controllers
Christmas present for my eleven year old grandson – he loved it!
Grandchildren love It great family game for all ages have lots of fun at Christmas
11 -year old grandaughter loves it, it’s better than her friends have!
Really fun games to play as a family. Highly recommend
Its a game that keeps the kids and adults entertained
Brilliant game at a brilliant price from Amazon warehouse. Always on for parties wether it’s kids or adults, something for everyone to get stuck into.
Great game but boring once you’ve played them all a couple of times
The girls loved challenging each other. Good selection of games
Bought for my Grandson and he’s never played with the switch so much!
Kids love it and enjoy the game. Not sure there is enough variety to entertain them for days on end tho
Great variety of games that has kept the family entertained for hours. Addictive as we want to beat our previous high scores!
I bought this for my 9 year old grandson, he loves it, he has played the games and says it is great fun. Would reccomend

This was a gift for my grandson and he was impressed by it.

I bought this for my grandchildren and it was a great hit. They are 5,7 and 8. The adults enjoyed it to. So a great game for the whole family.
Fun game for the family, play on the tv or just using the switch, can play multiplayer.

Good price. Xmas pressie for a 9yr old so perfec
My grandson it’s very happy with this game that I got him for Christmas
Good fun for the family, think there is a game for just about everyone in this.
Kept us entertained for ages as a family over xmas.
A Christmas present so haven’t seen it in use but have been told it’s brilliant by our nearly 7 year old grandson!
This game is brilliant. We purchased for the second time for a family member as we loved it ourselves so much, great family fun which some console games do not allow for.
Mini games that seem fun, but not sure about long term appeal.
HOURS of fun… so many games and easy if you just want a quick game or a whole afternoon of family fun challenging each other. Keeps the kids active too.

Fantastic for parties. If you have a switch it is well worth getting this.
Quick delivery, some of the games are fun, but some are just boring and silly. My 7 yo enjoys it though.

Niece and Nephew loved playing this on my switch. Well worth it.
Just brilliant, good for family games evenings, good for parties.
A really good and fun game do all the family. I have had dimming fun playing with my son m. He loved it and to be honest now I love it too
My 11 year old granddaughters favourite. Great for kinds, plenty of games so still in constant use at Easter (was a Xmas present for he
Great game for the switch is you just want to have some fun and aren’t a serious gamer!
My kids, hubby and I have spent ages playing this game. Basically you look at each other during games (I’m guessing to put them off?) There are plenty of different games and obvs some are more popular than others. But we feel this game is worth the money. Kids love it!
great game get a lot more for your money than you think
Fun for all the family! And it gets the kids out of their seats!
Excellent game, our grandsons aged 7 and 9 years absolutely love it.
A1 as described, speedy delivery, well packed, would use again. Thanks
Age has no barrier with this game. Just speed and a good heart rate required. As people stated once completed a number games many more appear. Absolutely the best buy for a rainy day for children of all ages……Oh and adults.
Purchased for my son who absolutely adores it, I’m not sure the pretending to milk a cow or use a samurai sword is my cup of tea but it keeps him quie
Keeps them fit and busy and the family can join i

Bought this for my 8 year old nephew. He loves it and plays it all my. My 4 year old daughter loves it too but it’s a bit tricky for that age
Great game for all family to get involved especially the younger ones fab

This game has kept us entertained for hours. Great choice for all the family to enjoy
Loads of fun for everyone, great for when you have people around. Doesn’t get boring because there’s plenty of games and everyone is trying to beat high scores!
Cmon time it’s an ok game not the best but it’s a game to play
Came just when it said it would and works perfectly
It’s OK, personally I paid too much for it, if you fancy a decent multiplayer game get snipperclips.
This game is so imaginative and really beautifully put together. It’s also easy to play for gamers old and new.
