This is the first Nintendo video game in which players compete in fun activities while staring into each other’s eyes instead of at the TV screen.
From Wild West gunslinging to copying each other’s dance moves, the games in 1-2-Switch make creative use of a broad variety of Nintendo Switch features to liven up parties with anyone, anywhere, at any time.
Each game takes advantage of the Joy-Con controller features of the Nintendo Switch system in different ways. While the action unfolds off- screen, the audience watches the players themselves instead of the screen. That makes it as hilarious to watch as it is to play – an instant party amplifier!

My 8 year old granddaughter loved it. I found it better than some of the games she has and reasonable value for money. Having said that, all games are expensive!

Bought this for my grandson, aged 9, for christmas. He loved it! Played with his brother, 11 years old. It also went down well with all the visiting adults as well, everyone had a great time playing and it got very competitive at times. Some of the games were also very amusing. This game was great value for money! Highly recommend!
This is absolutely brilliant for my 8 and 10 year old daughters. They can spend hours playing with this, and it doesn’t seem to have that slightly stressy feel that games like Super Mario leave you with.
This was a gift for my grandson and he was impressed by it.
..especially the beach flag/running one – it’s so clever how it shows the results on the screen and makes you feel like you are on the beach! the telephone one is great too. I play with my 7 year son.
I went to a cousins house and he had the switch and this game and told me his experience of bringing this out kids and adults playing the the short fun games.
I can confirm that it make visits from people who I don’t know super well fun ( i have a ultra large extended family being from an Asian family).
Nintendo don’t have the best graphics the most realistic physics. It’s not for the hard core gamer. It’s for the people who want to bring people together which I love in technology.
My one star reduction is because there is simply not enough games in the game ( the game is a set of mini games).
I bought this for my grandchildren and it was a great hit. They are 5,7 and 8. The adults enjoyed it to. So a great game for the whole family.
Fun game for the family, play on the tv or just using the switch, can play multiplayer.
My 5 year old daughter loves this game, evrn more so once we unlocked the broader range of activities. The gaming concept is simple, playing various physical activities to beat your opponent. Great fun for all the family. Yes there’s no smart graphics but this game doesn’t need it, it just shows what an innovative bit of kit the Switch really is.

This game is brilliant. We purchased for the second time for a family member as we loved it ourselves so much, great family fun which some console games do not allow for.
Mini games that seem fun, but not sure about long term appeal.
HOURS of fun… so many games and easy if you just want a quick game or a whole afternoon of family fun challenging each other. Keeps the kids active too.
Just a note when you first play the game it only lets you play a limited selection of the easier mini games for a while until it thinks you have got used to the controls and then you unlock the entire game, not sure why…

My kids, hubby and I have spent ages playing this game. Basically you look at each other during games (I’m guessing to put them off?) There are plenty of different games and obvs some are more popular than others. But we feel this game is worth the money. Kids love it!

Age has no barrier with this game. Just speed and a good heart rate required. As people stated once completed a number games many more appear. Absolutely the best buy for a rainy day for children of all ages……Oh and adults.

Very fun and good for a couple of laughs. I do think the 30 price tag is a little bit much, however, for what is essentially a demonstration of the Joy-Con’s many features – and I can’t see myself playing the game for very long. Personally, I think it would’ve been better off as a bundle game. Despite this, I still enjoy playing it and recommend it to anyone seeking some quick fun.
My daughter had this for Xmas at first I didn’t think much of it but once all the other games got unlocked this is a lot of fun and over Xmas this game was enjoyed from 9 year olds -75 year old also my daughter said it’s the best game she’s ever had.

This game is so imaginative and really beautifully put together. It’s also easy to play for gamers old and new.
Of course, you won’t want to be playing on your own and why would you, kept me and everyone else entertained for the whole night and can see it doing so for a while, not daily as who has a party daily, but for a good long while until they bring out another party game.
A lot of fun. More of a party game, as per the product description that it will ‘liven up any party’. Several reviewers seem to miss the point of what it’s about – clearly designed to be picked up by family and friends with a few of the mini games randomly selected, and not to be taken too seriously..Shows off the controls capabilities nicely too. Apparently more mini games will be added at a later date for download, but as it comes with 28, the choice is decent. My 7 year old son loves it too, and I reckon he’ll be playing it for quite some time yet..
This is a party game.
If you have a Switch and you have a group of friends around, this is A LOT of fun. It is actually very well thought through and produced and is a brilliant demonstration of what is possible with the Joy-con controllers.
The only reason it isn’t 5 stars is because I agree with many reviewers that it is a little over priced. It should really have been included with the Switch, or as a standalone game, around 20.
I hope this inspires more developers to produce more party games for the Switch, as it has huge potential in this area.

This is one of Nintendo’s comeback games in my opinion. The concept is fresh and you are more focused on your opponent than on the screen, which is absolutely brilliant. Played this with my family for hours.
Some great games especially after a few beers, not tooany but just enough to get you tipsy & then this is AMAZING, I highly recommend False Quick Drae (mint game)
I know this has had some shocking reviews all over the on & here but you have got to look at it like this, it’s a children’s/young adults console on the go & this game hits the nail on the head
NOTE: remember to always use straps for the games you can have them attached & you need to play all first seven games to unlock all 28
