Having already owned a fusion tablet and wanting to buy a Windows tablet – fusion was the first place to look. I had brought one for a friend and was so impressed by the quality/price ratio I knew this was the model for me. In less than two weeks I ended up buying two – they have not disappointed. We are both in our 70s and are basically BC – before computers – I would thoroughly recommend this product. An excellent buy for sure. Easy to handle, clear and bright.
Very good battery, great touch screen and can do everything it is needed for. Very impressed with the product.
This is to replace an old iPad as I wanted a tablet that is more compatible with Windows 10. It is good to have the same look and feel as my lap top, just in a small, more portable version. I loaded Microsoft 365 without a problem (once I realised that I should plug it in). I like the semi-matt screen – less reflection.
The only negative is that, when logging in to Gmail, the on screen key board goes over the password box. I will try to find a way around this.
5star tablet, everything you need, excellent sound and amazing picture quality, fast loading, as described. thank you.
Not bad for a cheap windows tablet well priced. Not that powerful tried total war rome 1 even if you had keyboard and mouse it still cuts off have the screen don’t use for rts gaming. It is fairly fast I think ssd would be better then emmc but for the price still very good.
Always wanted a windows PC in tablet form that ticked all the boxes. Ive had a windows desktop, laptop and now my fusion 5. Very happy
Would recommed this product.
I am very surprised about this tablet’s performance: at the beginning it seemed quite slow due to the first configurations. Windows 10S restricts the access only on Windows apps, so if you need a different internet browser (google chrome) or you need to download software not sponsored by Windows, you have to switch it off, which is quite simple. Touch screen is responsive although I think tablet’s performance could be improved using a regular mouse. I use this tablet for internet browsing and gaming, but in the second case, I would recommend to install old games or play using low graphic to avoid lags. Overall comparison between price and quality is definitely good. At that price is very difficult to buy something better.
I have been using this product for 3 months now and I am very happy with the purchase.
As a digital creator, I use the graphics function extensively and find it ideal for on-the-go working. Visuals are highly responsive. I am very happy with the audio, too. for my own work I use headphones but I am also able to satisfy customers with the in-built speakers. Obviously, external speakers give it that extra oomph.
All my necessary software works as well on this tablet as it does in my production studio. The main difference is that this tablet is much more portable leaving me free to choose my work location without worrying about whether the tablet will cope. Traveling with my tablet is so much easier. The weight makes no noticeable difference to my bag.
Battery time is extraordinary. This is something I have often been concerned about with my laptop. Now I can go out to work and not be worried that I have left my charger at home.
All-in-all a top value product that has made my life easier and more pleasant.
liked the clarity of the screen, took some getting use to,as i have always used a desk top p.c.have yet to try the camera and many other features the tablet has,but should overcome all of this with use.
Love this tablet, great value and easy to get started, does everything it should and still loads more to discover, easily rivals the ipad for speed especially at startup
This is the first tablet I have bought, I like the full size USB port so that I can use an external drive. The battery life is not great in PC mode but I don’t have anything to compare it with. Good storage size and very compact. Idea for travelling.
”UPDATE”
I have had a bit of a problem with the device that was sent. It was an unusual fault which basically was a conflict between the pre-installed apps.
The guys at Fusion5 bent over backwards to try to resolve the issue, with the device being sent back to their workshop via post, then again by hand with lots of links to try to resolve the issues. Finally they replaced the device which works perfectly.
Thank you Fusion 5 team
Unfortunately the product died after only a cew months very light use. I am waiting to hear back from the seller to find out how they will repair/replace the item.
I will add further comment in the review when I know more.
UPDATE: I’m pleased to say that the seller was very helpful and made every effort to resolve the issues. We were able to send the tablet back, freepost and the issue was found and repaired very quickly. We recieved the tablet back withing 5 days in full working order.
My daughter is the user for the tablet and has been using it regularly for her high school homework. Particularly important during the COVID-19 lockdown with schools closed. She has found it perfect for her needs and loves that she can use it like a tablet or as a laptop (when connected with the dockig keyboard)
Really good device for the cost.
Few months ago, I’ve bought this tablet. I’ve been usin this tablet daily for work and me and my family entertainment. It’s a very complete device that definitely will make your daylife easier!! I really recommend it !
This is the Tablet of my dreams. I hate Android and this is Win 10. It works like my Win 10 PC and runs ITunes and other Apps that are designed for my Win 10 PC. I can also access the web with my home network.
bought this for long haul flight, very easy to use and set up was quick ,quick to load great screen and the volume was excellent as some tablets have low volume,, the price was excellent for the tablet ,the case got was not really suitable as it interfered with the buttons “”Emartbuy Fusion5 Ultra Slim Windows Tablet PC 10 Inch Universal Range Black Multi Angle Executive Folio Wallet Case Cover With Grey Elastic and Card Slots + StylusEmartbuy Fusion5 Ultra Slim Windows Tablet PC 10 Inch Universal Range Black Multi Angle Executive Folio Wallet Case Cover With Grey Elastic and Card Slots + Stylus””
Not being profoundly technologically astute, it took a while to find a tablet like this that ticks all my boxes. I needed something that would carry all my tailored Word documents (in excess of 100,000), my assessment and intervention pdfs, all my kindle text books etc. etc. and also has access to all the educational websites, web apps and email I need but also something that is very light and portable. And cheap! Remarkably, the 128GB Fusion 5 10.1 inch tablet is all of that and links very well with my existing bluetooth keyboard, though a cheap dedicated docking keyboard and cover are also available for around 25 extra. The facility to add an additional 128GB of data storage on a micro SD was also a selling-point that gave me great peace of mind. The data I added in on that is seemless to access though it did pop out of its reader slot (but remained within the containing cover) on one occasion.
I did buy two covers and a pair of screen-protectors all ostensibly for this device but found them to be the wrong dimensions so be careful when buying accessories or maybe go direct to the Fusion 5 website for these.
I bought this tablet to replace my old Fusion5 – that one was now 4 years old, only had 32GB storage, and although I used that with a micro SD card to improve storage it was getting very slow and couldn’t update to the latest windows 10 system. The 128GB storage on this new one is great, I’ve always loved the convenient size of this tablet, I use it mainly for downloading photos whilst on holiday and posting on facebook, so this is an ideal size to carry around, very easy to set up, great screen and easy to configure to your personal requirements. All in all, a great buy, and love that I can use it just like my laptop.
I purchased a 4gb with 128gb storage. So far I couldn’t be happier, it’s quick and responsive and the display is great. The 1 prob I find is that my fingers are large and heavy so I have to be careful what I touch, I use a cheap stylus for intricate stuff. I have the same problem on my phone as well, so I can’t really blame the Fusion5. I also emailed the company asking a question before purchasing it and a received a reply very quickly
The tablet arrived really quickly and everything was in the box as described. It has the feel of something that’s well made and looks quite smart. I charged it before starting it up as recommended in the instructions. Once turned on, it took about 20 mins to go through the set up instructions. The tablet software itself guides you confidently through the steps required, which is mainly making a set of selections from options presented on the screen. You will need to have your internet available as you need to register some information before finding yourself at the actual Windows desktop. During the set up you have the opportunity to either use an existing Outlook email address or create a new one. You’ll also need a phone handy as you will receive a validation text. It’s been a while since I bought a new PC, so I guess this is all standard stuff these days.
Once up and running, I tried out a few basic things such as taking a picture, surfing the internet and playing music and videos on You tube. All worked perfectly. The picture is sharp and the sound is good too. Obviously the tablet has small speakers so sounds a little tinny as would be expected, but through earphones it’s excellent. Please note that this tablet has a full sized USB port. I’ll find this feature really useful in comparison to my older android tablet which doesn’t have one.
I had a specific purpose in mind for the tablet, which was to run some music editing software. This is not available from the Microsoft store, but was successfully downloaded from the internet. When I tried to run it, I was presented with an option to deselect Windows 10 ‘S’ mode and request a standard Windows 10 license instead (which is free.) I opted out of ‘S’ mode and within a few seconds had a confirmation that I had successfully made the swap. I’m not too sure about the details of ‘S’ mode, but presume this is a Windows security feature, rather than specific to the Fusion tablet.
I have an existing Norton anti-virus account and was easily able to send a link to my new tablet and download Norton for protection. All in all I’m really pleased with my purchase and look forward to having PC functionality in a tablet sized device.
The Fusion5 was a gift from my wife after my KINDLE FIRE stopped working (fortunately just before Christmas) and right from opening the box I found the Fusion5 a very classy sleek looking tablet, it had a very nice feel to it. Much better than the Kindle. The KINDLE FIRE was a bit limited to what you could download (google earth etc) and I found the Fusion5 had the same restrictions until you cancel the Edge program. Now I can download more apps from any app store always being mindful of where you download from obviously. The battery life is a little bit iffy if I am being honest and so is the sound quality but if you bluetooth it to a speaker there is no problem. All in all a tablet that has Windows 10 installed on it in my opinion is a winner. I would rather work and play on windows than Android. I ordered a keyboard/case from Amazon a week later which I found complemented the Fusion5 down to a T.
Better than an iPad because it runs my Windows programs, better than a laptop because it is as light as an iPad. Very portable and brilliant for travelling. I use it at home and whenever I am travelling as I did on my recent trip to the USA.
It’s a good product at a competitive price but the Windows 10 system is difficult to work with. I bought it as a present for my partner but she fins the operating system difficult to work with and not user friendly
Fast, easy to use and has everything i need from a pc.
Great Product easy to use very rare to see tablet wih all of the windows software fantastic alternative to android driven software – Great for watching videos playing games and online browsing
Also looks elegant and lives up to its slimline description second time of buy and second time of full satisfactio
I like the size of this tablet and how it works in general: good power of battery, good quality of the image to watch videos, good keyboard… I would improve the touching of the screen because sometimes there is no enough space to touch where I need and I also would like to download other products and apps of other companies different of microsoft like gmail.
This tablet, although i haven’t tried everything on it yet, does just what my laptop can do and is actually faster in navigating between folders and tasks. If you are familiar with Windows 10 then you will find this easy to use, either as a tablet or with a Bluetooth keyboard. I purchased Microsoft Office for around 15-20 and installed it very easily. The Microsoft Office functions are exactly the same as i am used to therefore i can transfer documents to the tablet to work on whilst i travel. The USB port is very handy for transferring data and photographs from my laptop also. Battery life is pretty good too and i find this very useful as i travel on the train a lot and can work in more confined spaces with this. No issues with recommending this tablet.
I use the tablet with a docking keyboard for work. As I needed something mobile but compatible with our network, I was looking for a tablet with a Windows system, good ram and large memory. This ticked all the boxes and after using it both in work and at home for the past two months I have no complaints. I homeschool my children and find it extremely helpful for getting their worksheets and resources printed, watching slideshows and using educational apps.
Before purchasing, I had read reviews that mentioned the sound wasn’t great, but I didn’t need it for watching or streaming programmes so this didn’t put me off. To be honest, what sound I have played on it hasn’t been terrible.
To be certain I was getting what I needed and there wasn’t anything else in the market that I had missed, I asked for a comparison in my local Curry’s PC World and the advisor couldn’t offer anything with the same package, and certainly not in the same price range. He advised me to stick with my initial choice of the Fusion5 as they had nothing to compete and was seemingly impressed with my find.
Battery life is great for what I need, I always have my charger with me but I rarely need it during the day and can usually just charge the tablet when I get home in the evening. I have had no problems with the touchscreen, usually a fast and accurate response.
Downside would be that I can have difficulty getting the screen to come back on but that may just be teething problems of me learning how it works. The docking keyboard can be a tad oversensitive when using the mouse pad, but that has nothing to do with the tablet itself. If I had a proper mouse I’m sure that would remove the issue.
I would suggest one thing for the tablet; it would be great to get some kind of protective cover that would hold the tablet and be functional with or without the keyboard attached, as I always worry about damage when I have it out of the docking keyboard casing.
Other than that, I can honestly say I have no regrets about making this purchase, it has made my work life much more time efficient and manageable, as well as giving me a portable device that I can use easily with my children for their education and studies.
This is a great value and capable Windows 10 tablet. The HDMI connectivity is an excellent facility also when using it for business travel, which I do.
A lot of hardware for the price. Highly recommended.
This is a great little tablet, I bought it for a cheap travel substitute for my Microsoft surface pro, and it does the job well. Ok not the fastest, but it’s a fraction of the price, it’s currently working through high definition pictures as I process them and it’s doing the job well. Add another 128Gb memory card and it’s a winner every time. Just get a case for it as I’ve already scratched the screen as I had it loose in my carry on luggage….
Brilliant. My grandson will be going to secondary school soon and this will meet all his computing needs for the foreseeable future. It’s light and slim, but make no mistake, it’s very powerful and fast.
Compared with the 6th generation Apple iPad, this tablet performs almost as well – at a MUCH lower price. Physical quality/robustness good too. Unlike the iPad, the Fusion5 tablet can handle anything that a normal PC can do, including Microsoft Office. If you change the OS from the supplied Windows 10 Home in S Mode to normal W10 Home, you can download and run apps other than those coming from Microsoft, including the internet browser of your choice (which gets you away from horrible Microsoft Edge). The 10″ screen is excellent for internet surfing, Word drafting and email work, and good enough for watching films. Probably not fast enough for demon gamers. Overall a good product and amazing value for money.
A good little tablet pc for the money. Wanted a windows table pc as a project and it works perfectly. The processor a little less on the performance than what I would have liked but it does the job I needed it to perfectly. Got a docking keyboard for it and it opens up more possibilities. Needed to convert it to the full windows 10 to enable to me install .exe programs but a little googling talked me through it.
This is a fantastic product for the price with the cost of delivery included. I bought the full spec version (4gb ram and 128gb of disc) together with the docking station.
They work so well together and will sit on the desk and perform great.
The screen is very clear and easy to read and if you know windows 10, then you will be home using it directly.
I give it 10 out of 10 as there is nothing that I did not like.
This is my second computer from Fusion (my first was bought a few years ago) and although it worked great it suffered with lack of disc memory(16GB) no such problem with this one with a full 128gb and an expansion slot as well.
I have used it with skype and the sound and picture quality is first rate.
It has only one usb port but that can be extended with a usb extender if you wish. It is also has USB 3 performance.
After a week of using it I’m a big fan.
I bought the keyboard too, which is also great so far, plus a 128GB SD card.
Using the tablet with a monitor and a full size keyboard and mouse makes for a perfect desktop experience.
It’s quick and easily runs Adobe CC apps like Audition and I design.
Battery life could be better but at this price it can’t be expected to be perfect.
I’ll update this review after a few months to report how well it lasts.
brilliant tablet would highly recommend. Easy to set up and use, Best on market for value for money, but with great features.
I was not familiar with the brand Fusion 5, so I had done a lot of comparison with other known brands but decided to go for Fusion 5 as it appeared to give a good value for the price; I am glad I made this decision. I bought this Tablet PC for writing articles with Microsoft Word. The Touch screen seems not to response soon sometimes but I usually use it with a Keyboard or a mouse, so it doesn’t matter for me. At the moment I am satisfied with it.
Fusion5 Windows Tablet FWIN232PRO 4/128Gb
Bought to replace a dead, similarly spec’d tablet, that gave many good years service whilst travelling. I went for the 4Gb RAM and 128Gb storage version and straight away I noted the improved performance difference and will probably quite soon come to appreciate the extra storage. Windows 10S was of no use to me as I use many programs that are not available from the Windows Store. The conversion to Windows 10 Pro took only a few minutes to complete. Now going through the long process of installing programs, so far so good. I’ve noticed the speakers are not very loud, Troubleshooting software states all is well but considering that a speaker blew on my last tablet this lower volume may be for the good. On a like for like basis c/f my last tablet: user interface all very familiar, inputs and outputs similarly, battery life better. A few niggles but these are to do with Windows 10 and not the hardware. For the Fusion designers- I note the charger output is 5V 2.5 Amp – a tweak to 2.1 Amp would make it same as a mobile phone charger output, would have been nice to have had a mobile phone USB power socket instead, 1 piece of kit less to carry about!
Great value for the money. Seems powerful enough to serve as a useful out of office machine, running the usual productivity apps. Speed is good. Battery life could be better and the touch screen took a bit of getting used to, but overall wins hands-down on quality for the price.
Great tablet that can be used easily as a small computer as well. Great company that have a great customer service and answer any query. Would definitely recommend.
Great affordable windows tablet. Significantly exceeded my expectations for the price range. Not the fastest tablet or the best touchscreen, but for the price it does the job and more.
Quality tablet for the price. Very useful for work and documents when on the go
This tablet is very good quality for the price. The first once I received did have a faulty screen, but I was quickly sent a replacement which works perfectly fine. Overall very happy.
Very easy to set up after charging for the first time. Brought this tablet as it was much lighter than my old laptop and was ideal for my requirements to play movies and pc games when travelling. Additional bonus was the USB port which many tablets do not have. I would recommend this product as a good buy.
A surprisingly good performance Windows 10 tablet that will allow you to watch movies, use Netflix, browse the internet and do many more things with a surprisingly good performance. It also starts pretty quick and is capable to run a few apps in parallel surprisingly well with no performance issues. The screen quality is also really good and although the sound is not brilliant you can use any Bluetooth speaker should you wish to have better sound quality (which I did). I do recommend this to anyone looking for an affordable Windows 10 tablet.
For the price this Fusion5 is an amazing Windows 10 Tablet. Powerful, fast, well built and nice to use. Well boxed and great warranty. I will be using it in my workplace and be recommending it to friends and family. All you need from a PC in a Tablet form… Brilliant.
I needed a windows based computer to run a program that isn’t available for the MacOS and this has fulfilled that function. I have the 4GB Ram version and think the 2GB would probably be too slow for my needs. . The tablet is heavier than I expected but still portable. If you keep your expectations realistic then this is a real value for money tablet.
I have a Meade ETX 125PE Telescope which can be controlled via a Laptop using appropriate Planetarium software and a #505 RS232 — USB Prolific Interface cable. I own a Lenovo Android Tablet with a Planetarium App installed but can only connect to Bluetooth enabled Telescopes which my Meade isn’t. The other issue is there does not seem to be an Android Planetarium App which allows Telescope control via a USB Interface. I have recently updated my Planetarium Software on my Windows 10 Laptop which works brilliantly. However I really wanted a Tablet sized Device rather than my 14″ Laptop to control my Meade Telescope in the field.
The solution presented itself as the Fusion5 10″ Win10S PC-Tablet. I decided to buy the 4Gb RAM-128GB Storage version for the best possible performance. The Fusion5 had the important full size USB Socket I needed (actually USB3) for the #505 Interface cable. This may have been a somewhat extravagant purchase for Telescope control but it is exactly what I wanted plus it does everything else that can be done on a Win10 Platform. I use it for e-mails, Internet based research, Non-Microsoft Office Apps, Streaming Videos via my Google A/C etc. Infact because of its convenient size I am using this PC-Tablet more now than my Laptop. In case you are wondering the Telescope control on my Fusion5 works perfectly, making slewing to specific Night Sky Objects a piece of cake and an absolute Joy.
The Fusion5 feels like a quality product with a Screen Protector already applied. The Touchscreen is accurate and fast although, because of my large fingers, using a stylus is better which has the added bonus of not leaving skin oils on the screen. Image quality is very good with nice clear images and realistic colours. All in all I am very pleased with this PC-Tablet which does all that I want it to do. That said there are a few things that I feel need to be mentioned;
Firstly, this PC-Tablet is shipped with Win10 S-Mode. After some research it seems that this is a PRO-version of Win10, but is very Secure and Virus Safe, only letting you download Apps from the Microsoft Store. It also means that basically you cannot download Third Party Software (unless in Microsoft Store). So nearly all the software I wanted could not be installed on this device while S-Mode is ON. To install Third Party Software you need to switch S-Mode OFF, which requires a Re-Boot, leaving you with Win10 Home Edition (not PRO) version on the Device. At this time I believe this process cannot be reversed. Subsequently, I have reset this Device to Factory settings, confirming that it does not revert to Win10 S-Mode.
Next, if there is one thing which has disappointed me about the Fusion5, it is the lack of output volume from the stereo speakers. Perhaps my hearing is age related but I have no problems with the volume from my Lenovo Android Tablet, Amazon Fire HD Tablet or my Tesco Hudl 2 Tablet. Using an earpiece is fine but you may need to consider buying Powered Stereo speakers if you want this Device to be loud.
Lastly, I really wanted a Non-Generic Fusion5 Case / Docking Keyboard for my Fusion5 PC-Tablet but there does not seem to be any available with a UK Layout. Out of the blue, Fusion5 Marketing offered me a Free Gift as a Thankyou for purchasing their Device. As luck would have it one of the gifts was a Docking Keyboard which I chose. The Free Gift arrived within 7 days and I was so pleased as it was a UK Keyboard and works really well. Very Impressed so Thank You Fusion5.
As stated I am very pleased with this Product which is only let down by the poor speaker volume. However, as this Device does everything else with Flying Colours, I give it a 5 Star rating but with a slightly Negative bias towards 4.7 Stars.
Bought this to replace a poorly Netbook. Great for browsing, emails etc, with a huge memory, to save loads of photos etc. Very portable and lighter than the netbook. So far so good.
I love everything about my fusion5 it’s so easy to use and light weight easy to transport any where, I have never been technically minded but find this really easy for me to use .
Bought for a touch screen application, this tablet is very good for the price.
Have it running full applications, including Office and a custom application. Build quality is good, and the touch screen is very responsive. Good product in general.
This Tablet PC is best of both worlds, you can use it like a Tablet or a little Laptop, i cant fault it in any way up to now, it’s so easy to use and set up,, even for me who has Autism, I’m very pleased 🙂
For the price I think it would be hard to beat
I use it mainly for work, typing out reports in the field, etc.
Keep books and music to keep me entertained in the van on those wet days
Got diagnostic software for vehicles on it as well
OK, It’s not an iPad, but neither is it iPad money
Well pleased
Excellent tablet which I bought to replace an Acer one which had locked up during a Windows update.
This machine is so much better, looks more stylish as well as functioning much better than the old one.
The quality of the screen display is superb the only criticism I would have is that occasionally it is quite fiddly to bring up the task bar from the bottom of the screen. To help with this I puchased the the keyboard case for this machine and have effectively turned it into a mini laptop pc. The keyboard cover also offers excellent protection for the screen.
Surfing the web is also quite fast for a tablet.
I am very happy with this item and would recommend it to others looking for a windows tablet.
A great Windows product. Much more useful than an android tablet. Synced it up to all my other devices. I use it for games via the Microsoft site or Steam, both work perfectly. Quick to load and browsing is super fast. Works great with the docking station (purchased separately), or in touch screen mode, my old laptop had great difficulty using touch screen mode, so this is a fantastic upgrade. Grandkids love it too!
I purchased the 4GB RAM, 128GB Storage version of this tablet. Having previously had a windows tablet I particularly chose this one so I could continue to easily switch between using my desktop, laptop and tablet. I am pleased to say that it does everything I had hoped for and more.
I recently switched from using Windows 10 S mode to Windows 10 home in order to install a game which was not available in the Microsoft store but which is a good test of the computer’s capabilities. The switch was very easy to do and the ‘resource hungry’ game ran well using a 1-4 usb adapter to be able to use both an external keyboard and mouse.
I have been very please with the tablet/pc gfx are really good and it’s easy to use, I have yet to update anything but I don’t expect any epic issues, I think for the price range this is an excellent buy, I was a bit worried about it at first but within days of having it I have found myself very impressed, still early days but I’m very happy with the purchase 🙂
volume very poor . Takes ages to charge. charge fades if you leave it for a few days .{ unless that’s normal }
I needed a tablet for my work with a USB port and this is great. It uses the same operating system as my laptop – so very easy for me to use. The battery life is very good – overall I am very pleased with this product.
I bought this to use for work. I changed the operating system from Windows S to Windows, added it to my office 365 account, loaded Citrix and connected it to a wireless keyboard. I can now take it with me when I travel and work on it like a laptop. It isn’t as well made as my iPad Air 2 and the screen isn’t as clear but it is lighter and is much more useful for getting work done. Being able to get proper office is important for my work and unlike my iPad, it is very connectable. It has USB 3 port which is very useful and a mini sd slot for expanding the memory. I haven’t used the hdmi connection yet. I have had no problem connecting it to wifi. It can be a little slow to start up, iPlayer buffers a tiny bit and the speakers are not great. It didn’t sound much better when connected to my Bluetooth speaker.I have added a tiny speaker which cost 10, fits in the headphone socket and cures this problem. Overall I am delighted with this tablet and feel it offers excellent value for money.
Small, light and quite fast. Very good for what it costs. The touch screen is not as responsive as someone used to tablets or phones but does the job.
We bought this to use as a data collector tablet for field surveying, along with a waterproof cover. The unit is perfect for our purposes with decent battery life and a reasonably bright screen for daylight viewing. We have it paired with an old Apple wireless keyboard and Magic Mouse (we used the Apple Boot Camp drivers for the mouse and Magic Keyboard drivers for the keyboard) for use in the office, both work very well however the mouse occasionally has to be manually connected.
The touch screen is responsive, not anywhere as good as, say an iPad, but good enough. The 128GB built in storage is adequate for our needs, however we have installed a 128GB MicroSD card as a data volume. Someone said that it doesn’t work with external drives, well it works fine with our G-Tech 1TB G-Drive SSD, maybe it doesn’t have enough power for old spinning drives?
First thing we did is took it out of S mode and upgraded to Windows 10 Pro 1909 update. This enabled us to install the surveying and GIS software that we need on the tablet. It boots up fast, and even with Win 10 Pro there’s still 87GB free on the C drive. It’s neat that it automatically syncs your documents, photos, etc., to OneDrive.
OK, the caveats… for some reason the WiFi is not great. One would have expected a relatively recently released device to have AC connectivity but it just has low data rate N. In the house we have two access points both broadcasting the same SSID, without fail it picks up the furthest away access point even if it’s right beside the downstairs Netgear unit. Even if you force it to connect to the nearest one the performance is pretty poor, barely OK for internet browsing but syncing files takes ages, a 300MB (yes, MB not GB) took nearly two hours! This could be a driver issue as it is a Broadcom NIC, something we’ll likely have a look at…
The cameras are pretty rubbish by todays standard but we’re unlikely to use them anyway. The front facing unit would be OK for Skype, however given the abysmal network performance it’s something we’d leave to the iPads instead!
All in all, for the money it’s good value and a nice little Windows 10 tablet. Don’t expect Microsoft Surface or any of the big name tablets performance, but you pay for what you get and this could suit many peoples needs.
Was looking for an electronic notepad (rather than paper) and found options limited and Apple products too expensive. Tablet apps functionality is never as good for Office 365, so this was a surprising option which works great. 128Gb version is running O365 without any issues. Front camera quality is not great for the price, this is a small point. Overall, I am very impressed.
This is a Christmas present but, so far it looks great.
Great product very reasonably priced compared to other tablets. So nice to be able to do proper Microsoft office work rather than using limited android apps as well as full access to the internet/web. Impressed with build quality and the case stroke keyboard very hand indeed.
Great product, one of the few tablets that runs windows natively.
We use this for business, it is compact and easy to navigate, exactly what we needed. We were recommended to purchase this by our software company and are happy with the quality- thank you.
Great tablet, works well, plenty of storage, expandable as well. Wouldn’t swap it for an ipad, no way.
After searching numerous company’s for this kind of Tablet finely came across this great
Baby Excellent delivery time (Next Day ) and the wife is very pleased with her 10 Fusion5 Ultra Slim Windows Tablet PC
which she has found very easy to handle.
Tablet is easy to use and set up excellant piece of equipment will recomend to my freinds.
Brought this for my wife’s birthday and I must say we are both very pleased with it. Had it for just over a week so have not had much time to play with it, but initial observations show it to be every bit as good as any other computer we have had. I would not hesitate to recommend this – excellent.
The product is great and the service from Fusion5store was brilliant. They shipped the product quickly and with high packaging standards and issued an invoice within few hours of asking for one. Highly recommend both the product and the selle
I already have the 64 GB version of this and use it for timing software as it’s low cpu use, I decided that I could use another for running basic background work, these tablets are great as long as you remove all unnecessary programs and stop any startup apps.
The speed isn’t the best but considering the size, weight, connections and cost of this unit, it can’t be beaten.
Build quality us also pretty good.
I bought this to replace an old Acer tablet. This is little smaller, which was intentional, and makes for a better user experience on the move. It’s also significantly lighter was is a big plus too.
There are plenty of third party add-ons that work with this tablet, eg Bluetooth keyboards, cases/covers etc.
The screen looks good to me and battery seems to have a decent life time per charge.
You can add additional storage very easily, if required. If there is one issue, it would be lack of USB ports, there is just the one (not unusual I admit) but you can get mini hubs fairly cheaply should this be a problem.
It is ideal for passing time on a long commute, or just out and about. Its not top of the range, but for the price it is excellent value. Performance is good, and great for watching movies or TV shows.
I’m am very pleased with my purchase, as it does everything I wanted it to do with ease.
Likes – design, feel, speed, screen sharpness, colours. Perfect portable mini-PC.
No dislikes.
I like everything about this small windows 10 netbook it is perfect as i can take it with me where ever i go
and it runs all my exe files like my full size laptop would definately recommend to anyone who is looking for a small pc that fits in your manbaghandbag and give it 5 stars
regards richard williams
Excellent screen quality. Large 128GB storage for this size and price. Only issue is that the elastic corner on the wallet covers the on/off switch.
Purchased this for my wife as a present , i wanted to give her a flexible platform to work on that was fast and long lasting. as a test i let her use my linx 64 machine so i knew she would like this windows tablet type system. The fusion is way faster and higher build quality than my tablet… plus way more storage so capable of numerous windows 10 updates without imploding. This products allows her to sit at the tele and check emails or connect to a keyboard and run like a laptop. Great combo.
Excellent value when compared wth other Windows 10 tablets. I bought this the Fusion5 Pro with 4Gb of RAM and 128Gb disk memory which is more that adequate for my needs. If I use the Fusion5 alot during the day, I find I have to charge it overnight. Office 365 runs well as well as Kindle Music and reading Kindle ebooks. The only down side is that I have not been able to find case specically designed for the tablet. All the cases on amazon are designed with plastic mouldings which secure the tablet corners. The problem with the Fusion5 is that the power switch is located on the extreme top left hand corner which prevents the abililty to power up/down. I did find a cheap poor quality case on Ebay which is less than adequate as I have to remove the tabblet to recharge it.
This is just brilliant, all the features of my Windows 10 17″Laptop. its small enough to carry about with you but big enough to use and see whats on the screen. Delighted that I purchased this.
Excellent value for money. I bought this tablet for my partner so that she had a light weight, portable, easy access device to take to work when working nights. She is delighted with all aspects.
Windows Frusion5 slimline I”m very pleased with my choice there a lot to chose from but frusion5 has a very clear screen easy to use battery life is very good. I’d certainly recommend it.
Really like this tablet PC. Much better than I expected. Have recommended it to work colleagues and friends.
Works exactly as it is described! Easy to use, touch screen is excellent as is the battery life! Bargain!!
It’s definitely good for the price of it. The touch screen quality is pretty good, writing can be a bit difficult sometimes on it, but overall it works well!
Five stars. This is a great product it is easy to use and set up. The packaging is brilliant. But the support and how committed the company are. Great product, great service and yes I will placing another order with them.
The tablet is pretty fast for its price! the touch screen is good and the resolution is also good for its size, very little I can fault if for given the price tag. The battery is about what you would expect for a tablet its size too. Overall satisfied with the product and haven’t had any problems with it at all in the past month!
Have just retired and had to hand back my Microsoft Surface Pro. So i bought the Fusion 5 4GB RAM and 128 GB SSD. I must say i am very pleased with it for the price. I switched over to Windows 10 home and put in a 128 micro SD card for additional storage. A very compact design and well thought out. I also like the inclusion of USB 3.0. Highly recommended.
I ordered this tablet after I had ordered (and returned) a laptop which did not meet my expectations (laptop was slow), this tablet was much more responsive and suitable for the Web & eMail use I wanted it for, but it can do alot more.
I’ve been using it for a few days now and have had no major issues, my only slight “issue” is it is only 2G WiFi, but this is a minor issue as the speed and responsiveness of the tablet overall is more than sufficient, and I would highly recommend this tablet.
I bought this tablet for my wife to use, she has had tablets before and has experienced “issues” in the past. So when I was looking for a new one for her some of her experiences were foremost in my mind. She complained that previous tablets were slow especially when using more that a couple of apps at the same time so finding the Fusion5 with 4GB of ram instead of the usual 2GB offered in this price bracket drew me to his tablet straight away. The 128GB of storage was also a big deciding factor. But what really sold this tablet to me was the range of available ports on the side. Her previous tablet only had the obligatory mini USB port used for peripherals and charging alike, but the Fusion5 comes with a mini USB port, a USB3 port and mini HDMI for connecting to a larger monitor of TV and in my opinion the best of all a separate charging port and 240volt charger, although it can still be charged via the mini USB too. On the whole a great little package showing that someone has looked at how consumers are using this type of device and have designed one with flexibility in mind.
An excellent Windows 10 tablet, good graphics, clear and easy to read. The only very minor issue is that is very slow when upgrading Windows. My tablet needed several updates to bring to a working system. Unfortunately it did no have the latest version of Windows 10 installed, this is still to come.
An excellent tablet an an unbelievable price (sorry: sounds like I work for Fusion but I don’t!). I won’t repeat content from other reviews but I was very impressed with this bit of kit. Not really found any downsides to it yet.
A couple of hints:
1. It comes with Windows 10 in S mode which means (amongst other things) you can only run apps from the Microsoft store. This is very easy to turn off (just Google it) and it then runs as normal Windows 10 so you can install any app.
2. Browsing with Edge seemed slow (especially using the back button) so I installed Chome and it’s fine. Don’t know why.
Recommended.
Good 10 inch Windows 10 tablet, solidly built but feels a little heavy (probably because it is solidly built!).
Only had it for a few days but first impressions are good. Only weak side are really the speakers, no problem for me as will use either headphones or a speaker. I also purchased a case/keyboard for it which is very good. But was not until after I had registered the tablet online with Fusion that I found out could get a free case/keyboard!
O would buy again.
This tablet was bought to replace an 8 year old Asus laptop that I was worried about losing photos, ebooks and documents from, as its battery had died and was so slow it was painful to use.
I didn’t want to spend a lot on a new laptop as I wasn’t really using it as much as I used to, so had a look for a tablet with the features I needed. I bought this Fusion5 tablet as it had Windows 10 with a full USB connection, was reasonably priced and had very good reviews on Amazon.
Once the laptop was switched on it only took a few minutes to set up, and it was even possible to sync with my Android smartphone so I could transfer photos etc from my phone to the tablet.
I have only had the tablet for a few days but am really enjoying what it can do. The only negative thing I have to say about it is that it doesn’t access programs/apps as fast as an Android does, but for what I bought it for I am pretty impressed and am happy I decided to go with this make/model.
so I was looking for a tablet that I could use for recreational and work purposes. usually I would go for an android tablet.
choose the Fusion slim 128Gb. and it has really surprised me, it is pretty fast at loading, the battery is as good as you would expect. I downloaded wps office and synced it with my laptop, and it works just fine.
I even streamed a game from my pc through steam and plugged my Xbox controller straight into the tablet through the usb socket The price at the moment as great.
I also purchased a 128Gb SD card for extra storage. (correction 256GB and works fine)
Don’t wait around thinking should I buy it. just buy it.
bought to replace a Linx 12×64. Nice 10″ tablet. clean clear screen. touch sensitivity good, much lighter. Keyboard connection not great. would have been better if it attached like the Linx. information says it will take up to a 128GB card. I have inserted a 256GB and it works. Took literally 24 hours, in total to update the windows software. don’t like the “Windows 10 S” version supplied as it prevents one from loading other proprietary software. I have upgraded to Windows 10 1903. it took ages to load but I now have the latest S/W. It is a pity that Fusion does not offer screen protectors for sale. It does come with one attached. expecting that it will not last I have trawled to find one but with no success. I have emailed Fusion twice on the subject but to date have received no reply. have received a reply and now have a screen protector. Fusion offered a gift for my review. still waiting
I purchased this tablet as my laptop is a bit too bulky to use in bed! I use it mainly when programming the interactive fiction games that I write and it is great for that. Plug in my mouse and away I go! Best purchase I have made this year, I would give it 10 stars if I could.
This is the second fusion 5 tablet computer we bought. We bought this one because of the great experience we have with the first one, which is still going strong with intense daily use. See both in the attached picture.
They are robust and are very good for games and documentation. Will definitely buy again.
This is a very compact and useful extension to my home computer system. It has good storage capacity (128GB) and enables me to easily access and play my music collection via various linked devices around the house (bluetooth, airplay, cast to device etc) as well as access to the internet. It is has a full size USB port making it easy to connect a memory stick if, like me, you have vast amounts of music and photo files to play. The battery life is also better than I was expecting. The tablet is very simple to set up and use along with the MS office system and available software apps. You can download the free Microsoft apps (Trio Office) that enable you to access and use / edit your existing Excel and Word documents on the tablet without the need and expense of purchasing them all over again. However the configuration of the tablet only allows the user to download the apps approved by Microsoft unless you override this feature (which cannot be reinstated later!). I can recommend this tablet PC it can pretty much do the same as a ‘full size’ PC but in a compact form. I a not a ‘gamer’ so i am unable to comment regarding the games functions. I had been considering purchasing a tablet device for a very long while but for various reasons did not. I am pleased I discovered this particular tablet on Amazon and decided to buy. I would recommend purchasing a separate case / cover to protect it and use as a stand etc.
Comes in Windows S-mode which is good as it means it is unlikely to be loaded with any spyware but needs to be turned off before you can install anything not made by Windows. Needs to be charged over night before first use so don’t expect to use it strait out of the box. All round appears to be good Windows experience. I’d suggest getting the max RAM if you can afford it, to get the best user experience.
After a frustrating day trying and failing to update my old W10 Netbook (I just use for travelling) – I looked around for a suitable economic replacement.
I have purchased the 10 inch 128GB model with a docking station and a 128GB micro SD card. I am delighted with the package. I have used it with my old CD – USB attached unit (for some old software) and networked to my main machine for all the things I need and still have plenty of space for future additions without resorting to the SD storage – which I will use for local backup. I had read the reviews relating to sound level from the speakers and they were correct. Very low sound. I have a small USB speaker which works well – without that I would struggle with the sound.
Battery life for my usage (several hours) seems more than adequate. Speed of operation is more than adequate for my use of Internet, emails, spreadsheets and documents. I am not a game player so cannot comment on that aspect.
The docking station is easy – just a magnetic snap fit and the keyboard is great – saves lots of messing with the screen keyboard. I am finding the touchpad not as reactive as some but hopefully that will improve. Overall I am delighted and I would recommend this as a small economic machine which gives good all round performance.
