Having had a RR Evoque stolen after 3 weeks of buying it, I wasn’t taking any chances with my replacement car. With the key in the pouch I walked right to the car and it did not unlock, however the small flap has to be closed otherwise the key will be vunerable. Very satisfied

Item appears to be good Quality and I am sure will work well. One minor issue, they are not very large, our kIA key only just fits in. And you can not close the flap.

Ordered these after being recommended by a friend as I had brought a new car with remote access. They are perfect for fitting one key in but not a bunch of key and works perfectly arrived quickly in brand new conditio

Still to be tested. My car does still start to open when I approach it, even though the key is in its pouch and in my pocket, so unsure how effective this is

Thieves who are cloning keys have targeted a number of cars in our area so we bought these pouches to keep our keys safe. It’s difficult to prove they work (much easier to prove the opposite) but I have tried to access my car with the key in the pouch and the door will not open which gives a strong indication of their effectiveness (neither will the car start with the key in the pouch). Two pouches are provided as it would be a futile exercise if the spare key was not similarly protected. There is a fastener inside the pouch to hold the key and this is useful as we always take the pouch out with the key (there’s no reason why your key couldn’t be cloned while you sit in a cafe for instance). Really pleased with them.

I was sceptical but they really do work. Can hold the key in the pouch right next to the car and it will not unlock. Small size fits a standard car key fine, although overall size of the pouch makes it a bit bulky.

These pouches actually work as described.
I stood next to my keyless start vehicle and failed to gain entry into it.
I would recommend them if you’re worried about your vehicle key being “scanned”

I ordered the medium size, for my friend.
They really work, as they tried to start the car, with the key inside the pouch and the car wouldn’t start.
Well worth getting, they arrived the next day, value for money

I bought these to help improve my security with a key less entry car.

These seem to be very good quality and performed very well when I had the keys and I tested them.

Very easy to use nothing to do other than putting them in the pouch.

We live in an area targeted for keyless entry car theft. 45 seconds to get the neighbours’ car using the right tools. After months of putting my car keys in the microwave to jam the signal; and nearly cooking them a couple of times, I gave these a go. They most definitely work.

Purchased these as brought a new car and a friend told me to get one of these to safeguard my keys as your car can be cloned if left out. Worker great. A couple of times I’ve taken the key in the wallet into the car and the engine won’t come on as it can’t detect the key unless it’s out of the wallet. So all good! It only fits the key in and nothing else the size I got but that’s all I wanted.

This product works 100%. I stood next to my car keyless entry doesn’t work. It blocks the signal well! You get two pouches so convenient for the spare key too. Really happy to use this with prevention of a steering lock to keep car thieves away. Best 8 I’ve spent.

Unfortunately you have to have this ( not proven yet ) but peace of mind purchased the largest size available because I keep house keys on the same ring plenty big enough

Very happy with this purchase. I tested it out by putting my car key in the pouch and walked around the car. The car stayed locked. So it serves it’s purpose and is great at blocking the signal from car keys.

Very pleased with my new faraday pouches, l originally bought some from another seller but ordered medium instead of small and was too big for my car key fob, so ordered these and they are a perfect size for my key and perfect fit for my trouser pocket, good quality and great price you also get 2 so one for my spare key, they do work if I go to my car with the key I pouch the car won’t unlock

This bag blocks the key fob signal even near the car – good! It has metal swivel hook on the outside and a metal chain with key ring on the inside – I want neither but they cannot be detached without cutting some of the material. The longevity of the bag remains to be seen but seems reasonable for the job.

We have used these protect our electric car keys fobs and purchased more for parents as well. They are perfect size, small enough to fit in a handbag or pocket. Even comes with a ring loop to attach inside your bag for extra security

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Case

Bought these for when on holiday trips in the UK when staying at hotels. At home the car is in a locked garage and the key is kept in an RFID box (any metal box will do) but when out an about and I’m still near ish the car but its out of site a relay attack is still possible if the key is still near enough to the car. Say in a hotel room unless locking it in a safe all the time. I keep on in the suitcase and another one in the car, the one in the car is handy when I pop into the marina or the office and the car is still pretty close to where I might be, same goes for maybe the pub or restaurant car park if out for a meal and the carpark is close to the building. It can work at home too if you like but a bit of a PITA to keep putting the key in and out. Its not needed all the time just when you are within maybe 100-150 M of the car where the Relay attack boosts the signal between key and car allowing the car to think the key is present, this is how most keyless entry cars are stolen, the alternative is if you car has the option is to disable Keyless Entry but not all cars have this. This isnt really needed when parking up and being quite a way from the car but handy for when you nip down the local shops and park out front or the DIY store. The thieves mainly operate at night to be fair but in busy supermarket car parks when you would be away for a while its more likely unless you are in Chelsea and the car park is full of the same cars! for the price is well worth keeping one in the car and one in the travel bag. Hotels are a good place for thefts like this as the guests wont be far away and no one would know the car being driven off isnt by the owner.

I’ve stood next to my car with my key in a pouch and tried the door – it wouldn’t open. Took the key out and the door opened. So these pouches work.

I bought the medium size, which is quite roomy for a standard car key fob, but not really big enough to put the spare in too. Probably I should’ve got small, but I’d rather too much room than risk it being too snug and tricky to get the key out again.

  20. Anonymous says:

     United Kingdom

It does the job! If car key is in the pouch while you are in the car, the car will not start which means intruders cannot detect the key from outside.

Even standing just feet from ny car trying to unlock the car with the remote in this bag wasn’t possible. 10/10, thnaks to local Police for advice on securing your car at night. Every owner of a keyless entry car should use this. My wife has a Faraday pounch in her handbag she puts the keys in when she’s out so frequency can’t be caught if she’s out with the car, but not in it. HAve heard of crooks sitting in car parks targeting folk just getting out their car. Key fob easy target when you have just locked your car!

Pouches arrived in makers minimal but adequate packaging. Both worked – that is they blocked our car’s “keyless” entry when the key was inside. The small size of these pouches suits us, but will not do for everyone. Measure your keys and order a pouch of a size that will work for you.

NOTE: The material of these pouches – both the outer and RFID blocking lining – looks just like that of a different pair we had been using (and just like the various alternatives advertised here). After around two years those old pouches no longer blocked the RFID signals and that’s why I bought these replacements. I don’t know whether they wore out or just aged. Whatever Faraday pouch you buy I suggest you check from time to time that it is still effective and be ready to replace it after a year or two.

When key is inside there’s no connection to the car so nobody else is going to read and copy my signal

The items were packaged in a plain cardboard box. They are small and only.good for small key fobs. I’m this case they were for a scooter key fob so fir perfectly. Some car keys fobs would be a bit tight.

Early days but appears to be a really good value double item.
Slips nicely into small spaces so ideal for popping into your pocket or purse etc.
Hopefully it will never get tested for effectively deterring car thieves.

Bought these as a gift for my daughter after buying a new car, was just what she had been hearing sbout, tried and tested to see if signal to the car could be sent while key was inside , nothingnhsooened ,which of course is what was wanted

I would recommend anyone with a keyless car to get one. It does stop signals. I can’t open my car unless I take it out of the pouch. Small pouch is for one car key only.

This works really well if you have it in the same pocket next to your keys you will not be able to open your car but if you put it in the opposite pocket you can, it’s good peace of mind that your car won’t get stolen if you leave the keys in the pouch when at home or if out shopping

hey do work. the small one is plenty big enugh for a standard key remote. obvious design fault is no hook on the inside of the pouch to attach the remote to! the remote will always be seperate from your keys and pouch!

Use this to put our remote car key in and it works well. Toads have been in area trying to steal remote locking cars. However I do test it every few months as one pouch failed and I could still open car door when the key was in the pouch. Simple and cheap and once habit formed placing key in pouch do not notice it.

I bought those pouches for the keys of my Jaguar I-Pace. The car does not pick a signal from the key fob even when inside the car until you take them out of the pouch, so they are very effective. So far no sign of wear, would recommend

I bought this Faraday Pouch for my new car which has keyless entry. Once the car key is in the pouch it cannot be copied by anyone trying to use technology to steal the car. It has an RFID blocker.
