The camera is perfect for the picture quality and works perfect mainly for the CamHiPro App which is what I wanted the cameras mainly for. Please keep the stock going and do not discontinue them as I want to buy more of them in 2 months time. The Nightvision is good, motion detection is good and gentle for when you swipe and the zoom is good too.
CamHiPro or CamHi App and the quality is perfect to capture my whole kitchen.
The whole idea for purchasing this camera was for it to sit atop of a telescope inside my observatory. It provides a birds eye view of the telescope/mount movement and allows me to see the edges of the dome remotely from the comfort of the warm house. Having two way audio can also help enormously when listening to the mount movements and for assisted focusing. Picture quality is adequate and being able to move the camera around on it’s own axis is another plus.
However, the setup was an absolute blinkin nightmare !!!! The “destructions” say to not set the scope up using WiFi (initially) and they are not wrong. I had this connected directly to the router yet still could not find the device using either Windows 10 or an Android phone. Thankfully, my iPad did find it and I was able to register the device. Once that was done Windows 10 picked it up immediately and it was plain sailing.
Another “initial” problem was a horrible alarm crashing noise and something in Chinese which was difficult to make out. Again, probably relating to “I cannot find your camera and/or connect to your camera”.
If it had not found the network using the iPad I may have been tempted to return but it is worth persevering with it even though the software is very awkward and neither were the instructions without complication. They make reference to a setup but you have to poke around in different areas to find the area they mean.
Happy with my purchase and even more so as the usb port on my observatory computer is enough to power this camera. Just wish the destructions were clearer.
Great ip camera I use to monitor my son sleeping great night vision and picture quality was easy to set up with the app on both android and iOS I would happily buy again and have recommended it to friends
Bit larger than I though but easy to set up when I read the instructions. Nice and quiet when turns so noe I can watch the dog while out. Overall very impressed.
The product is fantastic, as are my other two outdoor waterproof cameras.
I had a slight problem with one of them and Genbolt were very helpful trying to sort it. In the end I repositioned it slightly forward because at night I was getting an IR reflection back of a white facia board. Let this be a warning on positioning.
Definitely would buy another Genbolt camera if needed.
Excellent product, easy to set up and works well. Better than my more expensive Foscam Cameras! Highly recommended good value and good build quality. 2/02/21 UPDATE ! All 3 cameras have stopped sending email alerts and I can’t find out why!
I have contacted the email on Amazon for help and no one to date has replied. They were working fine for weeks now their not!
The cameras are working I believe but even after resetting to factory settings they will not send emails for motion alerts. I have also tried changing email companies all to no good effect. I have many times re inputted the email details, smtp etc, cleared the page and started afresh, nothing will make them operate as before. Very disappointed and very frustrated at the lack of help! Beware and don’t believe everything written in the advert on Amazon!
4/02/2021 Had reply from Genbolt, found in junk folder! given solution to issue and diagrams to assist me. Yet to attempt fix but at least I have got some help
5/02/21 sorted problem today, cameras all ok but problem with email password on yahoo. Something had changed and after explanation by awind of Genbolt and supportive documentation and pictures explaining what to do, it took ten minutes to correct and now all cameras operating as before. It was the two stage verification on yahoo password account that was the problem. If you meet with the same problem contact awind through the Amazon help link. I’m not great with computers but even I got it sorted!.
.They are good value for money and worth the time to set up. Hopefully no more problems but at least there is someone to turn to and advise.
I was ready to give up on this as I couldn’t add the camera. Turns out the app on Google Play is only for the security cameras. Instead go to Genbolt website and down the Genbolt Cam app. From there it works great.
We brought this to monitor what our cats are up to when we are out of the house. It took a few minutes and some head scratches to set it up (for some reason we needed to set the wifi connection 3 times before it stuck).
Having done this and got it working we are very impressed with the images captured and the fact that it can email or ftp photos to us when it senses motion – just be aware that if you have cats like ours you will get 100+ emails with a photo overnight !
One slight critisism is that the abilty to view the camera output in a browser seems to rely on Internet Explorer – Chrome complains about a flash feed and that it will no longer support flash from the end of 2020 which is probably why the live feed doesn’t work on Chrome (but it does work on the iPad app if you need it).
Overall, we liked the camera and system enough to buy a second one that we will use to monitor our gate & drive to help my wife’s anxiety when the door bell goes unexpectedly.
The camera itseelf is good although the app for Android is not on play store but I emailed genbolt directly and they sent me link to download the app the same day very happy night vision is good easy to use although there is a couple second delay on both audio and picture
Hassle free, easy and straightforward to connect. Work flawless either on hub or even on 4G. Above all with this particular one you’re allow to save any video on your actual phone so later you can share around unlike some only photo is accessible!! Mind you i’ve got 4 different CCTV’s and this one is far by a country mile the easiest one to work with on the phone App.
The security camera arrived quickly and well packed. It was easy to setup. I installed an app on my Android phone and iPad. I contacted the seller with a query about using the microphone feature and received a detailed response which solved the problem. Picture quality is excellent and controlling the camera viewing direction is easy using the app. I would recommend this camera and for the price it is a real bargain.
My husband set this up last night and despite one or two grunts, it was quite easy to set up. The quality is great and so is the price! We had the older version previously, but my 18 month old dropped it on the floor more times than I can remember. It finally had it, so we bought two of these. This updated model is definitely better than the one I bought 2 years ago (and half the price too!).
The set up instruction could definitely have been more clear.
I have t tried the motion sensor yet, so won’t comment on that.
The sound is very good and clear.
All in all, it’s a fantastic purchase.
I use this camera for my dogs it’s great to see why they are up to when I’m away also to be able to talk to them.
Camera works as should and the customer service from seller is second to none.

I initially purchased one camera and was so impressed I purchased a second. It was easy to connect to our internet and I downloaded the Genbolt app on my mobile, and filled in the information which was easy and hey presto I was connected. I love it and i’m no techie. I can be at work/abroad and check on my property, drive etc and pets. you can move the camera around just using your finger on your mobile screen. It even records if you use a memory card which has been entertaining. We have witnessed a few funny goings on at 3am in the morning in our busy street. Night vision has been good. The second camera had a problem with night vision and I contacted Genbolt by email and they tried helping but in the end they sent me a new camera as a replacement. Excellent service and great Security Camera for the money.
Sure there are probably better cameras out there but this works, has a good quality picture and is easy to set up. Plus the two way microphone is great, I can shout at my kids when I’m at work- ‘do your homework etc..’
Replaced send as first one was faulty . Replace one is great in day light. night vision is not bad for that money .

This is my second camera and both are very similar but the apps are quite different. My older camera uses the eye4 app which is easier to use. The latest addition tries to be to clever. The camera does the job but the most annoying thing is the multiple notifications when the sensor is triggered and I get them when each video file has also been created(?), not sure why this happens and I can’t see anything to switch it off in the settings. I can’t assign the new camera to the eye4 app, no matter what I try, which is preferred so I use both apps. I couldn’t get the IR to switch off on the app but a few emails to the seller and bingo! Works a treat. Very helpful and always responds to help, thank you!
After testing for few weeks found the IP Camera work flawlessly, easy to set up and configure, did have some issues but with the excellent input from the seller it was soon resolved, I would highly recommend especially at the very low price range.

Excellent but for night vision outside there needs to be a security light always on but night vision inside, it’s brilliant. I use it as a daytime camera looking out the window. It’s really clear in SD and HD. Requires sd card for recording. Simple to set up.

Issues with previous system due to 2.4/5Ghz communication after new Router..as the camera was close to router decided to hard wire. So easy to set up and controls so much better than previous camera, wished I had found this in the first place.
I opted for the Genbolt indoor camera as I already have two Genbolt outside wifi security cameras using the CamHi app. So setting up another camera is so easy and the cameras all work well. What makes Genbolt special is how easy it is to set the cameras up using the QR code located on each camera.
We wanted an indoor camera with full tilt and rotation and sound option, as we have a new dog and wanted to be able to monitor whilst not at home. This camera would also be an excellent baby monitor or an indoor security device.

Setting the camera up is so easy and you can install an sd card for recording, or use the camera without if you are just monitoring. It takes only a few minutes once you have downloaded the APP from the Google store or Apple store depending on your device. Monitoring your home or office from anywhere in the world across the internet on your mobile device provides a real sense of security.
The quality of the camera pictures and videos are excellent, the night vision is perfect. The Camhi app makes it easy to switch between multiple cameras and you can adjust the cameras view just through small screen swipes to point the camera where you want to view. The camera is responsive which makes scanning a room very easy using the full motion controls.
After using for a few weeks I have to say this is excellent value and cant believe the features the camera offers for the price point. I have been moving the camera from room to room but may consider fixing it to the ceiling in the room we leave the dog the most as the camera offers a great wide field of view and then add the fact it can be rotated and tilted.
Viewing recorded videos from the device is easy and can be downloaded onto you mobile device or streamed.
I would rate this camera 10/10 for quality,features and value.

Recently bought 2 more cameras to add to existing, unfortunately 1 would not lock to phone or LAN so is going back. That aside these cameras are easy to configure and fantastic picture quality at night and day. They come on line almost immediately from anywhere. Great purchase
Good picture quality for a 720p, night vision ok sham can not turn off inferred lights as reflects to much of glass and mirrors. Easy to set up and responds well over wifi.
I love I can check up on the pets . It works from my I phone no matter where I am . It works in the dark And shows my dogs as If they have the light on and it’s not . It’s very clear and you can talk to them as well if needed . It’s a good camera to keep an eye on your home when you want to check in as well . One pet kept barking funny so I put my camera on and there was my other dog having a fit in the middle of the night . I wouldn’t be with out mine now . Brilliant images worth its weight in gold .
Used this as a Monitoring device for the Kitchen. Works well, but don’t expect Hi definition from this camera. The camera can be accessed remotely and provides an adequate colour picture. At night time, LEDs operate giving a black and white picture. The camera is Pan and Tilt, so it can be rotated from either a PC of a Phone application allowing for scanning of a room. Sound is a bit sub par, but you are really purchasing this for the visual capability. No problems, and I am happy with this purchase.
Initially I thought I’d only find a camera like this with a price tag of over 100 so you can imagine how pleased I was with this! Dead easy to setup with great picture quality and great connection even when I’m a hundred miles away. Definitely will buy another one in the future.

Stick with it, when you get it working fully, this is a great camera for the price, the only reason I haven’t rated it 5 stars is down to the app and the length of the power cable.
I had high hopes for this, I’d read all the reviews and questions answered and decided, despite some poor reviews, this would do exactly what I wanted, my criteria being a camera I could point out through a window and watch over my driveway day and night.
Having read that the IR lights could be turned off via the app this sounded perfect, for anyone that doesn’t know, if a camera has Infa red night vision and this function cannot be turned off the lights simply reflect in the window rendering the camera useless, you have to do this via a PC using the Hip2p software available at http://www.genbolt.com/download it cannot be done via the app unfortunately. Be careful which software you download off the website, do not download the CD package, it contains an older version of the software which is problematic to say the least, There is a single download of the app available if you scroll down.
First impression was how big the camera is, I was expecting something much smaller but I thought this could only be a good thing as it would be sturdier, the camera itself is about 14cm high and about 10cm wide at the base.
The wire for the camera is ridiculously short, at 90cm it barely reaches from the floor to a window sill therefore I need an extension cable, ridiculous based on what this is and the position people might need to place it in.
The IOS app is clunky and quite limited, to access the cameras full potential you will need to download the PC software, this is a real shame as a good app would make this an almost perfect choice. That being said the IOS app will do the perfect job if you only want to use this as an indoor camera for say a baby or pet monitor.
I know people will say ‘what do you expect for the money, however, one of the reasons I bought this is because the image says ‘Deal Today’ so I figured I was buying a 80 camera for 30, well it’s been over three days now and it’s still the same deal so don’t be fooled.
I cannot get the memory card to format via the app, after talking to Alisa it appears you need to format it as FAT32 on a PC first and then add it to the camera, this again is a shame.
The picture quality and night vision are quite good (720p with SD and HD options). The pan feature is 360 And can move up and down although it is very clunky in its movement. Setup via the IOS app was easy, I needed to contact Genbolt to get the PC app working which was more down to the confusion with the available downloads on the website as mentioned above.
After speaking with Alisa at Genbolt I managed to iron out the problems that I can see most people are having in the questions and I am now very pleased with the camera, at this price it is an absolute bargain.
I LOVE this. It was so quick and easy to set up and works so well. Its made better by the fact that you can move the camera around, making it easier for me to check on my dog when i go out.
Surprised how easy it was to set up. I scanned the code in the manual, downloaded the app plugged in the camera and selected connect by wifi in the app. It asked for my wifi password, and took a minute or 2 to connect.
There’s also a program you can download for your PC which auto detected the camera and allows you to move the camera around remotely. Runs in SD or HD and the picture looks very clear.

Instructions are in pigeon English – ignore all the strange setup instructions and download the phone app – it then all becomes very easy!
Works even in the dark and reasonably good pictures. Slightly chunky appearance and takes a fair sized footprint.
These are a fraction of the price of big-brand equivalents and I mean it when I say that I believe that they’re better. The picture quality when streaming is good and smooth, the IR is rally good. The app works perfectly and you can add as many cameras as you want. I find the motion activation a but hit-or-miss but that’s far from being a deal breaker for me. I use them to check in on my cat when I’m away.
Brought this to look in on our dogs while at work, for the price I was quite surprised how good it is. Well packaged and the build quality is okay. Power lead is too small so I recommended getting a extension, setting up was a @$*ing nightmare, but after a LONG time loosing it and entertaining the wife I got it working. There Is a barcode to scan with your phone which was no use, the wife’s phone is newer so I used that ( at her suggestion I being told .. Apparently ) so the camera app you get pointed to was ermm we’ll I couldn’t get it to work. Looking on android I got cameraHi BOOM on line WOOHOOO it took 2 days to get it to work on WiFi. So stick to it for the money its great, my mate paid over a grand for CCTv and he can’t move the cameras remotely zoom or talk and listen, bunny unhappy you bet ya !!!
Mine is the previous model I think .it was just a bit tricky not understanding the GHz connecting thing. My router is a 5 though didn’t understand that at set up so it wouldn’t set up. Once I understood it was simple as ..

1st camera set up no bother, second 2 wouldn’t work with ‘sonic’ WiFi set up, so had to use LAN cable to set it up 1st, then they worked.
One camera was clearly a returned item, missing instruction manual, poorly re-wrapped power cable and pen marks on Reset button, so was disappointed to sold it ‘as new’.
Apart from that, I would highly recommend these cameras!
This camera for the money is FAB, easy to set up (we are techno phoebes) and once up and running very clear picture, we just wanted a dog cam and are so pleased. You can pan around and talk to your pet from the office if they are up to no good! Would definitely purchase another.
Excellent value webcam – can be used with a smartphone or tablet (remote access via smartphone only). Wifi setup is by sonic link (a bit tricky but works fine when up and running). Lots of features available on the app including download of MP4 video files of webcam recordings. Night vision recording is good quality and horizontal/vertical control is very easy from the smartphone/tablet. Takes a microSD card up to 128GB (not supplied) – can be formatted from the app by the webcam.
Very happy with this camera. Took me a little while to get connected. Had to connect direct to my router with the supplied ethernet cable to get the wifi set up. But now maintains connection fine. Using it to watch a blackbird nest in my garden shed. Good in the dark too with the automatic IR switching.
I bought this IP camera to keep an eye on my baby when he left along in the room.I found this easy to setup and had it working perfect.(make sure you read instruction “Haha”).The picture quality day and night is very clear .However I can see my boy when he left alone in the play room,a great thing is we can hear each other,also it had 2years warranty.I think this is an excellent product,will recommend.
I’ve had a few of these cameras now, some are easy to set up and some not so. I’m glad to say this is one of the better ones and works well. The picture quality is excellent at all distances including in the dark and the audio is clear. I’m using this one as a dog cam! I like the fact that I can remotely adjust it to scan around the room and adjoining room entrance. No problems so far.
Excellent product! Never let me down once, and the app is good too. Connecting by wireless is a pain so just use Ethernet to connect and then set to wireless once the camera has been recognised on your network. I only have a 3mb internet connection but o can still access the camera wherever I am in the country:)
I am impressed with the quality and ease of use of this camera. After setting it up and running the camera for a few days I have found that the quality of the images surprisingly excellent and the night vision using the inbuilt IR lighting is excellent. I had a minor issue with the camera and after contacting the seller the problem was resolved very quickly, and I found the customer support exceptional. I would definitely recommend this seller and product to everyone.
Setting up took a little while to do. Had to change Hz setting on router. Picture is very good day and night. Pre set positions on cam view very good. Overall worth its price.
Brilliant product once used to it and set up used it to keep an eye on the dog while out and also used as a baby monitor and you can speak through the camera so no need to run upstairs to tell the kids to settle down brilliant product will be purchasing more
Does what it says on the tin. Easy set-up, very easy to use with Crystal clear imagining. I’ll be buying a second one. Snap their hands off and grab it. Make sure your modem ip address for 2.4gb is different to your 5gb as most camera’s only function on 2.4. All it took was a quick call to my service provider.
I use this to see my dogs when I’m at work you can talk to them and hear them too it does a 360 the wire could be abit loner has you need to plug it in not to experience aswell

Quite a knack to setting your saved angles as the button to stop/start vanishes too quickly.

Only problem was having different devices connect to the camera. It’s all working across 3 different devices but not sue how as I’m ended up using different passwords.
I have never had a problem with either wired or wireless connection. I use it to keep an eye on my dog when i am at work and sometimes i take the opportunity to use the 360 camera to pan around and watch my girlfriend whilst she’s getting ready for work. The zoom lense is excellent and allows me to take snapshots of either the dog if he’s looking particularly cute that day or for sly nudes of my girlfriend depending on my mood
Bought one, then another, then another. Very pleased, so far no dropping out. I tried simple smaller cams previously without aerial and without Ptz, but little success. I have much more confidence in these, and they move well. Like the preset positions, not too sure about zoom, but good enough for me. Very simple to install on WiFi. Nice clear images.
Ok! Apart from a few frustrations connecting to my wi-fi it’s a great piece of kit. Easy to use, you can use at day and night, hear and communicate. You can record and playback and it has a sensor that will notify you of movement, this feature can be disabled. For the money it’s a great solution to keep an eye on am elderly parent (with their permission!) or a ‘blind spot’ where you may not have sensor for the house alarm. Really pleased.
Arrived quickly but I had troble setting it up, but I am really bad with the technology. Friend of mine set it up now and it works very well. Amazing night vission. I am able to spy on my cat whilts I am at work.
I absolutely love this camera! It’s got everything you need and is of quality build. The Android App is far from perfect but it does the job and you know the company is always working to improve it and add new features. The Windows desktop application is better. I had no problems at all setting everything up and it was fairly intuitive. Picture quality is excellent. For the price you are getting fantastic value for money and it’s clear this company is serious about its business. This is no cheap cr*p! Firmware upgraded flawlessly and I feel confident with this product going forward – 5ghz wireless and Cloud save please!
Great little camera, easy to set up and great app. At a discounted price this is a bargain. Would be five stars…….. as most comments, the power lead is not long enough. Another 50cm would be good. Give buyers the option of buying an extension at the time of sale, at a discounted price. Overall though, very good.

Amazing piece of kit, patience required setting up, but well worth it once achieved. Presets & alarm activation are a dream. Note that you can only zoom as you would normally zoom in on a photo with an iPhone/iPad. 2 way speech a major plus telling the dog to get off the sofa from work!
Please do an external version, I desperately need one, preset position to include zoom would be nice also.

Dont send it back stay with it i spent 6 hours on my iphone 4s but i did not get the full app download it did not give me any options to link the camera nearly put it in the garden with a drop kick.Next day i tried it on my husbands ipad and took me about well 10 mins to get it all on line.This is a great camera i can now use it on my iphone at work also we went to Ayr in S cotland and it gave me a live view of our street as long as i had wifi on my phone.We use it to watch the front of the house at night /day can record as much as you want with sd card even at night we dont use the infrared as the camera picks up the street lights this is a great bit of kit just hang on in there it will work.All the best i nearly gave in stick with it you will be well pleased
I bought this as I have 4 dogs so I can keep an eye on them when im at work or out for a while. Its ace. Easy to set up and link to your phone, clear footage, good sound and small enough to not be in the way on the kitchen worktop. I would highly recommend this camera.
I’ve bought a few wireless cameras over the years but this is the best by far. I’ve purchased 2. The quality is excellent and the picture quality is equally as good. The record on motion detect works flawlessly and never fails to record any detected movement. My only gripe would be that all these camera manufacturers don’t give enough power cable, a minimum of 2 meters would be ideal. Apart from that these are outstanding.
A good piece of equipment. Bit of a job to set up the wifi when you have mac security on your router. Other than that I cant fault this camera for its price. Pros are the quality of the image, the night vision is clear and is mobile, can be moved from room to room. Cons are setting up of the wifi for the first time.
We’ve had a Motorola video monitor for my son since he was tiny, but they’re not very reliable and when the camera lead recently broke we decided against replacing it like-for-like for the 4th time.
My mother-in-law has an internet camera for her elderly mother so we decided to go down that route instead, and I wish we’d done it 2 years ago.
After some research I chose this Genbolt model and it is fantastic – easy set-up, crystal-clear picture, easy to control from your phone / tablet and 2-way audio so you can talk to them. And at 40 for a camera it’s cheaper than the Motorola monitors too! The only thing I think it doesn’t have that the Motorola did is temperature display, but that was never accurate anyway.
Now that we occasionally have an evening out and leave our son with a babysitter this method gives us even more peace of mind (we’ll be able to check in on him ourselves if we like).
Will be recommending.
Bit fiddly to connect to wifi but got there eventually, I suspect that is more to do with the app Eye4 which is not the best. The camera itself is very good – I have it in the attic to watch for vermin activity so it’s on night vision all the time and it gives a nice clear picture, I was surprised how good the picture was. It would be good if the app had some kind of “return to centre” option button rather than having to swipe all the time and maybe preset positions e.g., swivel 180 degrees again to save constant swiping. The other gripe with the app is that you get a notification of activity but when you press on the activity in the log it just seems to open the camera up, no saved picture or video, so you can’t see what triggered it.
So – very pleased with camera, not so the app…
Easy to install (wired), wireless is a bit more tricky so I didn’t bother as the camera sits right next to the router anyway, love the pan and tilt, listening option, snapshot and recording but what is really cool is the ability to talk through the camera from wherever you are, so ladies, if your other half is browsing for internet stuff (you know what I mean) while you are out with the girls you can see what he is up to and tell him to stop it ha ha ha
Seriously, this is a great camera for very little money.
I have set this up using WiFi and Ethernet via powerline and it has been a doddle. The only mistake I made was I didn’t have my phone’s volume turned up when it sends a high-pitched setting up tone to the camera.
Image quality is great and the app is easy and quick to use. Motion detection sensitivity can be adjusted and likewise the type of notifications to the phone can be customised.
When recording through a window at night, you have to switch off the night vision IR as all you get is a reflection. This is ok for me as I have a driveway that illuminates via a PIR.
All in all a great camera, I would love an outdoor version.
Extremely pleased with the product and delivery. I can log on to the camera at work on my computer or out and about on my mobile. Quick efficient, can easily move the camera around the room, clear and bright picture, brilliant!
Perfect for me to keep an eye on my old kitty kats – the screen sometimes freezes, but I would guess this has more to do with the quality of the internet connection rather than the camera.
Good product unless it is faulty. No qubible about a refund, which is good. However, I just wanted an exchange, which they couldn’t do so had to buy the item again only to find out it had increased in price by abut 10 and I wasn’t offered the difference!
Brilliant camera and perfect for my needs, amazing clear picture and many features, enhanced more when you add a micro sd card for recording and playback. Added a very quick video taken whilst accessing camera via app from my work checking on my new kitten! picture is perfect.
I have set this up and has been running for a week. So easy to set up with most of it done automatically. Only grip is the time setting is an hour out with no way to change manually. That aside the picture quality is superb. The alarm is easy to set up to your requirements. Alerts sent to your phone. And easy to log in and view whats going on. All with 2 way sound.

I have 3 of these cameras and have found them so easy to set up and use. The android app is a bit glitchy but kind of does the job, the pc software works much better and is easy to use. I had an issue getting the SD card to format in camera 3 but after contacting the seller, I managed to get it to work – use the pc software to format instead of the app.
The image is good, even better on high resolution, motion detection works well, recording quality is good and the 2 way intercom works fine too. The cameras do make a tiny amount of noise sometimes when moving, but it’s hardly noticeable.
For the price, an excellent all round camera that’s easy to set up, easy to use and a very good price!
I bought this in order to keep an eye on my dogs whilst I am at work and it works perfectly. It is easy to set up and connects to your home Wifi. When away from the home you can use your phone or tablets 4G to connect.
For its price the quality of the camera is fine and it is perfectly acceptable for what I use it for.

I have to say I’m very impressed by this little gadget. I use it to watch my dog when he’s in the back garden to see if he’s up to no good, or wants to be back in the house. I’ve had it a week and I use it all the time.
For a 40 camera the picture quality is very good, both in daylight and at night. Although, if you have the camera looking through a window, you get quite a lot of reflection from the infrared light, so it’s best to use it indoors.
It was a bit of a faff to link it to my network. One time it would only work by plugging the LAN cable in but not using WiFi, another time it would only work using WiFi and not the cable. I did get it connected in the end though.
Set it up in 10 minutes (by Wifi, easy but I had to give it a few shots).
Been using it for about a week now.
Quality of picture is amazing, day or night vision. You can move the camera’s angle to check every corner of the room, capture a pic or even record a video directly on your phone.
Even the sound and the microphone is good (you wouldn’t have a conversation with it but it’s enough to hear the baby cryin or the dog barking).
I definitely recommend this product, great value for money.
This camera has the potential to be very good value for the money but the some important aspects are very flawed. The accompanying app to the camera is buggy and unless you want to spend some hours of time trying to get everything to work, this camera may not be for you.
I just hope with some firmware and app updates it will improve

What promised to be a very impressive piece of kit for a low price, quickly turned into a lump of useless plastic!
Yes it literally worked straight out of the box within minutes. Working through the app, Eye4 l came across the firmware update feature.
BEWARE! This bricked my device. Unplugging from the power supply, resetting the device did absolutely nothing.
Awaiting a reply from Genbolt, but not prepared to wait so returning the camera to Amazon to allow me to find a replacement.
UPDATE: 6th Dec. Genbolt after viewing my review quickly got in touch to try and help me. Credit to the company. Unfortunately at the present due to the camera not even initialising anymore I am unable to help them with their positive suggestions in trying to resolve the camera’s issue. When ever setting up equipment using smart phones or computers etc always take a picture of the different stages of setting up, it will help you later on.
Update: 8th Dec.
This information supplied by Genbolt technical support will help you to sort out any set up problems.
The problem l had may be down to the App with regards upgrading the firmware.
Spend some time with the camera before attempting any firmware upgrade and l suggest wait until the app as another version.
Important Tips Before Setting Up
1,make sure your device connect to a 2.4G WIFI signal,NOT 5G.
2,DO NOT connect LAN cable if choose “Quick Setup”(Sonic Way).
3,download APP named “EYECLOUD” from Apple iOS / Google directly.
4,keep your device and camera are in the SAME 2.4G WIFI signal.
5,make sure your APP version is newer or at least the same as 2.4.2
6,better keep WIFI router as near as camera & your device within 5M.
7,reset camera if it doesn’t speak “wireless configuration is waiting”
8,put the EYECLOUD app into white-list of your anti-virus software.
9,make sure NO special symbol like @#’% in your router password.
10,create a account and register by your email & your own user name.
11,enter your router IP & keep DHCP / UDP on(already on usually).
Sonic Set Up (No Need LAN cable):
1,open the EYECLOUD app and enter “device management”.
2,power camera & wait it speak”wireless configuration is waiting”
(push the reset button at backside of camera for 10secs if not heard)
3,click button”+”and “add camera”under”Quick Setup”.
4,click button”Found the sticker”and login your local WIFI password.
5,click button “Send”and keep device as near as camera.
6,waiting sonic setup until you heard”wireless connection success”
7,no more clicks and wait until button”Binding”show up.
8,login the default password as 888888 for iOS(Android no need).
9,setup success & you can watch and control the live view now.
Plan B to Solve Connecting Issues
Way 1 (Reset Camera):
a,delete cameras in the EYECLOUD APP
b,push the reset button at backside of camera for over 10seconds
c,until camera speak “wireless configuration is waiting”.
d,repeat the Sonic Set Up(choose “Quick Setup”) again.
Way 2 (LAN cable help change into WIFI view)
a,delete cameras in the EYECLOUD APP.
b,connect camera and your router via LAN cable(CAT5).
c,choose “search cameras in the LAN” to set up,password:888888
d,success to view now,but enter below menu of APP to reboot.

Update 10 days later…
Working great on my NVR not dropped out once fully onvif protocol.
The whole idea for purchasing this camera was for it to sit atop of a telescope inside my observatory. It provides a birds eye view of the telescope/mount movement and allows me to see the edges of the dome remotely from the comfort of the warm house. Having two way audio can also help enormously when listening to the mount movements and for assisted focusing. Picture quality is adequate and being able to move the camera around on it’s own axis is another plus.
However, the setup was an absolute blinkin nightmare !!!! The “destructions” say to not set the scope up using WiFi (initially) and they are not wrong. I had this connected directly to the router yet still could not find the device using either Windows 10 or an Android phone. Thankfully, my iPad did find it and I was able to register the device. Once that was done Windows 10 picked it up immediately and it was plain sailing.
Another “initial” problem was a horrible alarm crashing noise and something in Chinese which was difficult to make out. Again, probably relating to “I cannot find your camera and/or connect to your camera”.
If it had not found the network using the iPad I may have been tempted to return but it is worth persevering with it even though the software is very awkward and neither were the instructions without complication. They make reference to a setup but you have to poke around in different areas to find the area they mean.
Happy with my purchase and even more so as the usb port on my observatory computer is enough to power this camera. Just wish the destructions were clearer.
Great ip camera I use to monitor my son sleeping great night vision and picture quality was easy to set up with the app on both android and iOS I would happily buy again and have recommended it to friends
Bit larger than I though but easy to set up when I read the instructions. Nice and quiet when turns so noe I can watch the dog while out. Overall very impressed.
The product is fantastic, as are my other two outdoor waterproof cameras.
I had a slight problem with one of them and Genbolt were very helpful trying to sort it. In the end I repositioned it slightly forward because at night I was getting an IR reflection back of a white facia board. Let this be a warning on positioning.
Definitely would buy another Genbolt camera if needed.
I have contacted the email on Amazon for help and no one to date has replied. They were working fine for weeks now their not!
The cameras are working I believe but even after resetting to factory settings they will not send emails for motion alerts. I have also tried changing email companies all to no good effect. I have many times re inputted the email details, smtp etc, cleared the page and started afresh, nothing will make them operate as before. Very disappointed and very frustrated at the lack of help! Beware and don’t believe everything written in the advert on Amazon!
4/02/2021 Had reply from Genbolt, found in junk folder! given solution to issue and diagrams to assist me. Yet to attempt fix but at least I have got some help
5/02/21 sorted problem today, cameras all ok but problem with email password on yahoo. Something had changed and after explanation by awind of Genbolt and supportive documentation and pictures explaining what to do, it took ten minutes to correct and now all cameras operating as before. It was the two stage verification on yahoo password account that was the problem. If you meet with the same problem contact awind through the Amazon help link. I’m not great with computers but even I got it sorted!.
.They are good value for money and worth the time to set up. Hopefully no more problems but at least there is someone to turn to and advise.
I was ready to give up on this as I couldn’t add the camera. Turns out the app on Google Play is only for the security cameras. Instead go to Genbolt website and down the Genbolt Cam app. From there it works great.
We brought this to monitor what our cats are up to when we are out of the house. It took a few minutes and some head scratches to set it up (for some reason we needed to set the wifi connection 3 times before it stuck).
Having done this and got it working we are very impressed with the images captured and the fact that it can email or ftp photos to us when it senses motion – just be aware that if you have cats like ours you will get 100+ emails with a photo overnight !
One slight critisism is that the abilty to view the camera output in a browser seems to rely on Internet Explorer – Chrome complains about a flash feed and that it will no longer support flash from the end of 2020 which is probably why the live feed doesn’t work on Chrome (but it does work on the iPad app if you need it).
Overall, we liked the camera and system enough to buy a second one that we will use to monitor our gate & drive to help my wife’s anxiety when the door bell goes unexpectedly.

The camera itseelf is good although the app for Android is not on play store but I emailed genbolt directly and they sent me link to download the app the same day very happy night vision is good easy to use although there is a couple second delay on both audio and picture

Hassle free, easy and straightforward to connect. Work flawless either on hub or even on 4G. Above all with this particular one you’re allow to save any video on your actual phone so later you can share around unlike some only photo is accessible!! Mind you i’ve got 4 different CCTV’s and this one is far by a country mile the easiest one to work with on the phone App.
It’s a decent camera for its price, however I wouldn’t recommend this camera in the long run. Had multiple issues with connections & act.

The security camera arrived quickly and well packed. It was easy to setup. I installed an app on my Android phone and iPad. I contacted the seller with a query about using the microphone feature and received a detailed response which solved the problem. Picture quality is excellent and controlling the camera viewing direction is easy using the app. I would recommend this camera and for the price it is a real bargain.
The set up instruction could definitely have been more clear.
I have t tried the motion sensor yet, so won’t comment on that.

I initially purchased one camera and was so impressed I purchased a second. It was easy to connect to our internet and I downloaded the Genbolt app on my mobile, and filled in the information which was easy and hey presto I was connected. I love it and i’m no techie. I can be at work/abroad and check on my property, drive etc and pets. you can move the camera around just using your finger on your mobile screen. It even records if you use a memory card which has been entertaining. We have witnessed a few funny goings on at 3am in the morning in our busy street. Night vision has been good. The second camera had a problem with night vision and I contacted Genbolt by email and they tried helping but in the end they sent me a new camera as a replacement. Excellent service and great Security Camera for the money.
Sure there are probably better cameras out there but this works, has a good quality picture and is easy to set up. Plus the two way microphone is great, I can shout at my kids when I’m at work- ‘do your homework etc..’
Replaced send as first one was faulty . Replace one is great in day light. night vision is not bad for that money .

This is my second camera and both are very similar but the apps are quite different. My older camera uses the eye4 app which is easier to use. The latest addition tries to be to clever. The camera does the job but the most annoying thing is the multiple notifications when the sensor is triggered and I get them when each video file has also been created(?), not sure why this happens and I can’t see anything to switch it off in the settings. I can’t assign the new camera to the eye4 app, no matter what I try, which is preferred so I use both apps. I couldn’t get the IR to switch off on the app but a few emails to the seller and bingo! Works a treat. Very helpful and always responds to help, thank you!
After testing for few weeks found the IP Camera work flawlessly, easy to set up and configure, did have some issues but with the excellent input from the seller it was soon resolved, I would highly recommend especially at the very low price range.

Excellent but for night vision outside there needs to be a security light always on but night vision inside, it’s brilliant. I use it as a daytime camera looking out the window. It’s really clear in SD and HD. Requires sd card for recording. Simple to set up.

Issues with previous system due to 2.4/5Ghz communication after new Router..as the camera was close to router decided to hard wire. So easy to set up and controls so much better than previous camera, wished I had found this in the first place.

Setting the camera up is so easy and you can install an sd card for recording, or use the camera without if you are just monitoring. It takes only a few minutes once you have downloaded the APP from the Google store or Apple store depending on your device. Monitoring your home or office from anywhere in the world across the internet on your mobile device provides a real sense of security.
The quality of the camera pictures and videos are excellent, the night vision is perfect. The Camhi app makes it easy to switch between multiple cameras and you can adjust the cameras view just through small screen swipes to point the camera where you want to view. The camera is responsive which makes scanning a room very easy using the full motion controls.
After using for a few weeks I have to say this is excellent value and cant believe the features the camera offers for the price point. I have been moving the camera from room to room but may consider fixing it to the ceiling in the room we leave the dog the most as the camera offers a great wide field of view and then add the fact it can be rotated and tilted.
Viewing recorded videos from the device is easy and can be downloaded onto you mobile device or streamed.
I would rate this camera 10/10 for quality,features and value.
Recently bought 2 more cameras to add to existing, unfortunately 1 would not lock to phone or LAN so is going back. That aside these cameras are easy to configure and fantastic picture quality at night and day. They come on line almost immediately from anywhere. Great purchase
Good picture quality for a 720p, night vision ok sham can not turn off inferred lights as reflects to much of glass and mirrors. Easy to set up and responds well over wifi.
Used this as a Monitoring device for the Kitchen. Works well, but don’t expect Hi definition from this camera. The camera can be accessed remotely and provides an adequate colour picture. At night time, LEDs operate giving a black and white picture. The camera is Pan and Tilt, so it can be rotated from either a PC of a Phone application allowing for scanning of a room. Sound is a bit sub par, but you are really purchasing this for the visual capability. No problems, and I am happy with this purchase.
This was a present but from what I have been told they are very pleased with it in every way.
Initially I thought I’d only find a camera like this with a price tag of over 100 so you can imagine how pleased I was with this! Dead easy to setup with great picture quality and great connection even when I’m a hundred miles away. Definitely will buy another one in the future.

Stick with it, when you get it working fully, this is a great camera for the price, the only reason I haven’t rated it 5 stars is down to the app and the length of the power cable.
I had high hopes for this, I’d read all the reviews and questions answered and decided, despite some poor reviews, this would do exactly what I wanted, my criteria being a camera I could point out through a window and watch over my driveway day and night.
Having read that the IR lights could be turned off via the app this sounded perfect, for anyone that doesn’t know, if a camera has Infa red night vision and this function cannot be turned off the lights simply reflect in the window rendering the camera useless, you have to do this via a PC using the Hip2p software available at http://www.genbolt.com/download it cannot be done via the app unfortunately. Be careful which software you download off the website, do not download the CD package, it contains an older version of the software which is problematic to say the least, There is a single download of the app available if you scroll down.
First impression was how big the camera is, I was expecting something much smaller but I thought this could only be a good thing as it would be sturdier, the camera itself is about 14cm high and about 10cm wide at the base.
The wire for the camera is ridiculously short, at 90cm it barely reaches from the floor to a window sill therefore I need an extension cable, ridiculous based on what this is and the position people might need to place it in.
The IOS app is clunky and quite limited, to access the cameras full potential you will need to download the PC software, this is a real shame as a good app would make this an almost perfect choice. That being said the IOS app will do the perfect job if you only want to use this as an indoor camera for say a baby or pet monitor.
I know people will say ‘what do you expect for the money, however, one of the reasons I bought this is because the image says ‘Deal Today’ so I figured I was buying a 80 camera for 30, well it’s been over three days now and it’s still the same deal so don’t be fooled.
I cannot get the memory card to format via the app, after talking to Alisa it appears you need to format it as FAT32 on a PC first and then add it to the camera, this again is a shame.
The picture quality and night vision are quite good (720p with SD and HD options). The pan feature is 360 And can move up and down although it is very clunky in its movement. Setup via the IOS app was easy, I needed to contact Genbolt to get the PC app working which was more down to the confusion with the available downloads on the website as mentioned above.
After speaking with Alisa at Genbolt I managed to iron out the problems that I can see most people are having in the questions and I am now very pleased with the camera, at this price it is an absolute bargain.
I LOVE this. It was so quick and easy to set up and works so well. Its made better by the fact that you can move the camera around, making it easier for me to check on my dog when i go out.
There’s also a program you can download for your PC which auto detected the camera and allows you to move the camera around remotely. Runs in SD or HD and the picture looks very clear.

Brought this to look in on our dogs while at work, for the price I was quite surprised how good it is. Well packaged and the build quality is okay. Power lead is too small so I recommended getting a extension, setting up was a @$*ing nightmare, but after a LONG time loosing it and entertaining the wife I got it working. There Is a barcode to scan with your phone which was no use, the wife’s phone is newer so I used that ( at her suggestion I being told .. Apparently ) so the camera app you get pointed to was ermm we’ll I couldn’t get it to work. Looking on android I got cameraHi BOOM on line WOOHOOO it took 2 days to get it to work on WiFi. So stick to it for the money its great, my mate paid over a grand for CCTv and he can’t move the cameras remotely zoom or talk and listen, bunny unhappy you bet ya !!!
Mine is the previous model I think .it was just a bit tricky not understanding the GHz connecting thing. My router is a 5 though didn’t understand that at set up so it wouldn’t set up. Once I understood it was simple as ..

1st camera set up no bother, second 2 wouldn’t work with ‘sonic’ WiFi set up, so had to use LAN cable to set it up 1st, then they worked.
One camera was clearly a returned item, missing instruction manual, poorly re-wrapped power cable and pen marks on Reset button, so was disappointed to sold it ‘as new’.
Apart from that, I would highly recommend these cameras!
This camera for the money is FAB, easy to set up (we are techno phoebes) and once up and running very clear picture, we just wanted a dog cam and are so pleased. You can pan around and talk to your pet from the office if they are up to no good! Would definitely purchase another.
Excellent value webcam – can be used with a smartphone or tablet (remote access via smartphone only). Wifi setup is by sonic link (a bit tricky but works fine when up and running). Lots of features available on the app including download of MP4 video files of webcam recordings. Night vision recording is good quality and horizontal/vertical control is very easy from the smartphone/tablet. Takes a microSD card up to 128GB (not supplied) – can be formatted from the app by the webcam.

Very happy with this camera. Took me a little while to get connected. Had to connect direct to my router with the supplied ethernet cable to get the wifi set up. But now maintains connection fine. Using it to watch a blackbird nest in my garden shed. Good in the dark too with the automatic IR switching.

I bought this IP camera to keep an eye on my baby when he left along in the room.I found this easy to setup and had it working perfect.(make sure you read instruction “Haha”).The picture quality day and night is very clear .However I can see my boy when he left alone in the play room,a great thing is we can hear each other,also it had 2years warranty.I think this is an excellent product,will recommend.
Excellent product! Never let me down once, and the app is good too. Connecting by wireless is a pain so just use Ethernet to connect and then set to wireless once the camera has been recognised on your network. I only have a 3mb internet connection but o can still access the camera wherever I am in the country:)
I am impressed with the quality and ease of use of this camera. After setting it up and running the camera for a few days I have found that the quality of the images surprisingly excellent and the night vision using the inbuilt IR lighting is excellent. I had a minor issue with the camera and after contacting the seller the problem was resolved very quickly, and I found the customer support exceptional. I would definitely recommend this seller and product to everyone.
Setting up took a little while to do. Had to change Hz setting on router. Picture is very good day and night. Pre set positions on cam view very good. Overall worth its price.
Brilliant product once used to it and set up used it to keep an eye on the dog while out and also used as a baby monitor and you can speak through the camera so no need to run upstairs to tell the kids to settle down brilliant product will be purchasing more
Does what it says on the tin. Easy set-up, very easy to use with Crystal clear imagining. I’ll be buying a second one. Snap their hands off and grab it. Make sure your modem ip address for 2.4gb is different to your 5gb as most camera’s only function on 2.4. All it took was a quick call to my service provider.
I use this to see my dogs when I’m at work you can talk to them and hear them too it does a 360 the wire could be abit loner has you need to plug it in not to experience aswell

Very good camera with clear images. Only criticism is a poor instruction manual. However we managed it!
Quite a knack to setting your saved angles as the button to stop/start vanishes too quickly.
Fairly easy to get working. Picture and sound quality very good.
Plenty of after sales support offered p front by seller.
Only problem was having different devices connect to the camera. It’s all working across 3 different devices but not sue how as I’m ended up using different passwords.
I have never had a problem with either wired or wireless connection. I use it to keep an eye on my dog when i am at work and sometimes i take the opportunity to use the 360 camera to pan around and watch my girlfriend whilst she’s getting ready for work. The zoom lense is excellent and allows me to take snapshots of either the dog if he’s looking particularly cute that day or for sly nudes of my girlfriend depending on my mood

Bought one, then another, then another. Very pleased, so far no dropping out. I tried simple smaller cams previously without aerial and without Ptz, but little success. I have much more confidence in these, and they move well. Like the preset positions, not too sure about zoom, but good enough for me. Very simple to install on WiFi. Nice clear images.
Ok! Apart from a few frustrations connecting to my wi-fi it’s a great piece of kit. Easy to use, you can use at day and night, hear and communicate. You can record and playback and it has a sensor that will notify you of movement, this feature can be disabled. For the money it’s a great solution to keep an eye on am elderly parent (with their permission!) or a ‘blind spot’ where you may not have sensor for the house alarm. Really pleased.
Arrived quickly but I had troble setting it up, but I am really bad with the technology. Friend of mine set it up now and it works very well. Amazing night vission. I am able to spy on my cat whilts I am at work.
Great little camera, easy to set up and great app. At a discounted price this is a bargain. Would be five stars…….. as most comments, the power lead is not long enough. Another 50cm would be good. Give buyers the option of buying an extension at the time of sale, at a discounted price. Overall though, very good.

A good piece of equipment. Bit of a job to set up the wifi when you have mac security on your router. Other than that I cant fault this camera for its price. Pros are the quality of the image, the night vision is clear and is mobile, can be moved from room to room. Cons are setting up of the wifi for the first time.
We’ve had a Motorola video monitor for my son since he was tiny, but they’re not very reliable and when the camera lead recently broke we decided against replacing it like-for-like for the 4th time.
My mother-in-law has an internet camera for her elderly mother so we decided to go down that route instead, and I wish we’d done it 2 years ago.
After some research I chose this Genbolt model and it is fantastic – easy set-up, crystal-clear picture, easy to control from your phone / tablet and 2-way audio so you can talk to them. And at 40 for a camera it’s cheaper than the Motorola monitors too! The only thing I think it doesn’t have that the Motorola did is temperature display, but that was never accurate anyway.
Now that we occasionally have an evening out and leave our son with a babysitter this method gives us even more peace of mind (we’ll be able to check in on him ourselves if we like).
Will be recommending.

Bit fiddly to connect to wifi but got there eventually, I suspect that is more to do with the app Eye4 which is not the best. The camera itself is very good – I have it in the attic to watch for vermin activity so it’s on night vision all the time and it gives a nice clear picture, I was surprised how good the picture was. It would be good if the app had some kind of “return to centre” option button rather than having to swipe all the time and maybe preset positions e.g., swivel 180 degrees again to save constant swiping. The other gripe with the app is that you get a notification of activity but when you press on the activity in the log it just seems to open the camera up, no saved picture or video, so you can’t see what triggered it.
So – very pleased with camera, not so the app…
Easy to install (wired), wireless is a bit more tricky so I didn’t bother as the camera sits right next to the router anyway, love the pan and tilt, listening option, snapshot and recording but what is really cool is the ability to talk through the camera from wherever you are, so ladies, if your other half is browsing for internet stuff (you know what I mean) while you are out with the girls you can see what he is up to and tell him to stop it ha ha ha
Seriously, this is a great camera for very little money.
Image quality is great and the app is easy and quick to use. Motion detection sensitivity can be adjusted and likewise the type of notifications to the phone can be customised.
When recording through a window at night, you have to switch off the night vision IR as all you get is a reflection. This is ok for me as I have a driveway that illuminates via a PIR.
All in all a great camera, I would love an outdoor version.
Extremely pleased with the product and delivery. I can log on to the camera at work on my computer or out and about on my mobile. Quick efficient, can easily move the camera around the room, clear and bright picture, brilliant!
Perfect for me to keep an eye on my old kitty kats – the screen sometimes freezes, but I would guess this has more to do with the quality of the internet connection rather than the camera.
Good product unless it is faulty. No qubible about a refund, which is good. However, I just wanted an exchange, which they couldn’t do so had to buy the item again only to find out it had increased in price by abut 10 and I wasn’t offered the difference!
I have set this up and has been running for a week. So easy to set up with most of it done automatically. Only grip is the time setting is an hour out with no way to change manually. That aside the picture quality is superb. The alarm is easy to set up to your requirements. Alerts sent to your phone. And easy to log in and view whats going on. All with 2 way sound.

Fab bit of kit, really pleased with it, and you do not need a memory card.

The image is good, even better on high resolution, motion detection works well, recording quality is good and the 2 way intercom works fine too. The cameras do make a tiny amount of noise sometimes when moving, but it’s hardly noticeable.
For the price, an excellent all round camera that’s easy to set up, easy to use and a very good price!
For its price the quality of the camera is fine and it is perfectly acceptable for what I use it for.
Product arrived on time, well packaged and as advertised.
For a 40 camera the picture quality is very good, both in daylight and at night. Although, if you have the camera looking through a window, you get quite a lot of reflection from the infrared light, so it’s best to use it indoors.
It was a bit of a faff to link it to my network. One time it would only work by plugging the LAN cable in but not using WiFi, another time it would only work using WiFi and not the cable. I did get it connected in the end though.
I would thoroughly recommend it.
Been using it for about a week now.
Quality of picture is amazing, day or night vision. You can move the camera’s angle to check every corner of the room, capture a pic or even record a video directly on your phone.
Even the sound and the microphone is good (you wouldn’t have a conversation with it but it’s enough to hear the baby cryin or the dog barking).
I definitely recommend this product, great value for money.
I just hope with some firmware and app updates it will improve

What promised to be a very impressive piece of kit for a low price, quickly turned into a lump of useless plastic!
Yes it literally worked straight out of the box within minutes. Working through the app, Eye4 l came across the firmware update feature.
BEWARE! This bricked my device. Unplugging from the power supply, resetting the device did absolutely nothing.
Awaiting a reply from Genbolt, but not prepared to wait so returning the camera to Amazon to allow me to find a replacement.
UPDATE: 6th Dec. Genbolt after viewing my review quickly got in touch to try and help me. Credit to the company. Unfortunately at the present due to the camera not even initialising anymore I am unable to help them with their positive suggestions in trying to resolve the camera’s issue. When ever setting up equipment using smart phones or computers etc always take a picture of the different stages of setting up, it will help you later on.

This information supplied by Genbolt technical support will help you to sort out any set up problems.
The problem l had may be down to the App with regards upgrading the firmware.
Spend some time with the camera before attempting any firmware upgrade and l suggest wait until the app as another version.
Important Tips Before Setting Up
1,make sure your device connect to a 2.4G WIFI signal,NOT 5G.
2,DO NOT connect LAN cable if choose “Quick Setup”(Sonic Way).
3,download APP named “EYECLOUD” from Apple iOS / Google directly.
4,keep your device and camera are in the SAME 2.4G WIFI signal.
5,make sure your APP version is newer or at least the same as 2.4.2
6,better keep WIFI router as near as camera & your device within 5M.
7,reset camera if it doesn’t speak “wireless configuration is waiting”
8,put the EYECLOUD app into white-list of your anti-virus software.
9,make sure NO special symbol like @#’% in your router password.
10,create a account and register by your email & your own user name.
11,enter your router IP & keep DHCP / UDP on(already on usually).
Sonic Set Up (No Need LAN cable):
1,open the EYECLOUD app and enter “device management”.
2,power camera & wait it speak”wireless configuration is waiting”
(push the reset button at backside of camera for 10secs if not heard)
3,click button”+”and “add camera”under”Quick Setup”.
4,click button”Found the sticker”and login your local WIFI password.
5,click button “Send”and keep device as near as camera.
6,waiting sonic setup until you heard”wireless connection success”
7,no more clicks and wait until button”Binding”show up.
8,login the default password as 888888 for iOS(Android no need).
9,setup success & you can watch and control the live view now.
Plan B to Solve Connecting Issues
Way 1 (Reset Camera):
a,delete cameras in the EYECLOUD APP
b,push the reset button at backside of camera for over 10seconds
c,until camera speak “wireless configuration is waiting”.
d,repeat the Sonic Set Up(choose “Quick Setup”) again.
Way 2 (LAN cable help change into WIFI view)
a,delete cameras in the EYECLOUD APP.
b,connect camera and your router via LAN cable(CAT5).
c,choose “search cameras in the LAN” to set up,password:888888
d,success to view now,but enter below menu of APP to reboot.
