- The AquaHouse AH-UIF Water filters are compatible with any refrigerator if using an external water filter cartridge which connects in-line with the water pipe supplying the refrigerator.

- The AH-UIF is a premium compatible water filter which has been independently tested and certified by the Water Quality Association’s Gold Seal program. Only products which pass rigorous testing and pass annual manufacturing facility audits are accepted onto the Gold Seal certification.
- Filter meets NSF/ANSI 42 standard for material safety, structural integrity, and has been tested for chlorine reduction. Also meets NSF/ANSI 372 standard for lead free compliance. This gives the user confidence the filter is of high quality and safe for use with drinking water.

If your existing filter reference is not listed above but it connects in-line with the water pipe supplying the fridge then this filter will be compatible, but please check and compare the connection at the end of your filter to that product image, if it is the same it will fit your fridge. These filters do what they should, however I dropped a star rating as I have found each filter holds the water pipe at each end too tight when it comes to changing. It should be a case of removing the plastic circlip, press the centre ring in and pull the pipe out, but no, the pipe won’t come out. I’ve checked the instructions, I’ve tried using pliers, nothing works. Last filter I changed I had to cut the pipe at the end of the filter. I’ve used other brand filters and never had this problem. It’s not a show stopper but inconvenient when changing filters should take 5 minutes.
It works though a lot of black water was coming after installing it and it took a while to get the clear water. Instructions to connect to the water supply could be clearer.
I have always had filters with my fridges that have had screw on connectors, which felt solid and trustworthy. These were a little less secure in the fittings, my first two attempts resulted in very small leaks that I couldn’t work out. After a couple of attempts I managed to get a nice square fit which has held water since. I did notice the my Haier Fridge Freezer also uses a strange push fit design so I’m not surprised the filters use the same.
All has been good for a while, no taste from the filter, no colour, so nothing important has happened since installing them.

The price was the most competitive and installation was straightforward. Delivery was also vert fast. However, it’s a filter and unless the water in/out is sampled and analysed (which few people will do) its effectiveness against the manufacturers claims can’t be verified. The rating for the filter can thus only be 3 stars (i.e. average), with an extra star for price, speed of delivery and easy installation.

Easy to fit to my American fridge/freezer I have been worried and buying them on Amazon due to being advised to got to LG company only but there the same and cheaper.
