We bought this as a gift for my father to use with a record bandsaw. The suction is great collects nearly all the sawdust from the machine it’s not too noisy either. Great vale for money very well made and extremely sturdy.
    Highly recommend to all

Good product but arrived damaged, the rim where the motor sit was bent out of shape and I had to repaired and the 100mm hose has been squashed. I should have returned it.

Will fit on tools with extractor vents thanks to several different diameter ends. Had to make a stand to use on my lathe was simple enough. Excellent bit of kit my lungs luv it.

Not as good as I expected, the pipe is huge and the connections are in no way universal, so you will have to buy lots of different fittings in order to attach power tools, or be creative with gaffer tape.

Brilliant piece of kit perfect for my cellar. I was thinking of buying connectors for my saws etc but dont bother its all in the box saving the extra dosh. Highly recommended

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI bought this for a 63mm ducted extraction system in my workshop with five separate gated spurs. The machine is powerful enough to cope with the chips and dust from my table saw and planer thicknesser, and the container is large enough not to need frequent emptying. I was concerned that it would be noisy, but it emits less noise than the Karcher extracter that it replaces.

Seems a good machine and have used at my lathe when sanding and on the bandsaw port. It did pick up shavings and jammed the webs at the end of the pipe where it enters the machine. Quite what these are for I have no idea so I cut them to half size and no issues or blockages since. A small issue. If you get sawdust on the lid around the handle, when you bend down and switch on, the sawdust gets blown in your face with the exhaust air. This is a bit of a mystery as there seems hardly room for the air to escape between the handle and the lid.

    But overall a good machine.

Great extractor with plenty of suction and added advantage of having various different nozzles for all sizes of dust extraction.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersUsed it a few times before leaving a review. When it arrived the hose included was badly crushed, I didn’t want the hassle of returning the whole thing so contacted the seller directly to ask if I could be sent a replacement hose. To date I still haven’t heard back from them. I already had a length of 100mm hose from another extractor attachment I already owned so presently have to use that and swap back and forth between equipment. Not ideal but will do for now. Other than that it works quite well, its not exactly quiet but then again the saw masks the noise but I would recommend using ear defenders if running for long.

The vacuum has good suction works well however the hose is awkward to use but not a major problem.

Lovely machine, a bit noisy but does exactly what it should do. When buying from Amazon do NOT add the extra long hose or fittings, the extractor comes with several connectors. I bought the extra connections as suggested, and the extra hose, and had to send them back.

Genuinely very pleased with the lumberjack. I don’t find it especially noisy TBH. No more than any other. Otherwise it is a great choice and unbeatable at the price… definately reccomended.

Powerful dust extractor, but used in a shed needs ear-defenders. Build seems good quality.

    Absolutely fine

This looks great value. I bought it to replace my Record Power RDSE2, which kept tripping my shop circuit, despite my attempts to adjust the motor brushes.
Interestingly, the collection drum has exactly the same diameter (about 354mm) as the RDSE2, so that the lid/motor top units are interchangeable. Because the heights are different (LJ 480mm, RDSE2 580 – see photo) it follows that the internal volumes are different ((LJ 43 litres vs RDSE2 53 litres). These estimates take into account the internal filters (about 4 litres, and also interchangeable, I think). So the LJ is not quite the 50 litres it claims! No worries, it’s near enough, and I can always use the RDSE2’s drum!
I also think that the LJ is slightly quieter, but both still need ear defenders for anything other than quick use. Both too have the same extraction flow rates (LJ 183 cu.m/hr = 51 litres/sec, compared with RDSE2’s advertised 53 litres/sec).

Finally the LJ cost me about 100, compared with Record Power’s 299. RecordP has some explaining to do, as the LJ has the same (or better?) build quality. The LJ is well recommended.

Edit! The internal filters for the Record Power RSDE2 and this LJ BDE 100 are NOT interchangeable, unfortunately. That doesn’t alter the 5* recommendation.

    Absolutely fine

Nice big cylinder to catch all the dust. I can now work in my workshop without all the dust works great on my planer and table saw. Very good suction cannot fault this.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersHad for over six months now and extremely pleased with the unit itself. Really good and sturdy, powerful and effective. Very disappointed (nothing listed even on lumberjack website for this model) trying to find the filter bags and lumberjack are asking nearly 8 for a paper dust bag ( for DBE 1200 model) hence only 4 stars.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI used it as an extraction system for my carpentry tools. It’s very good value for money however it is better if you purchase a hose extension as the existing one is short and you have to keep moving the unit.
