I got the projector for replacing my 32″ TV – it’s amazing. Even when it’s daytime the picture quality is 1st class. I’m able to connect to my Bluetooth speakers and the electronic focus is great too. My last projector was manual focus so this is a real step up all round. Watching Netflix and linking my Sky Q box to it is super easy. I can’t recommend the Auuner projector enough. Even my brother has now got one since he’s seen mine. 10/10

Golden Review Award: 55 From Our UsersI bought this projector for something different instead of a television due to the lack of aerials upstairs in my house .

My plan is to either buy a projector screen or find a suitable wall in my bedroom to place it .

I opened up the box and managed to set it up really easily.

One of the points to make is that you need to have two AAA batteries to operate the remote, so I had to make a quick trip to sainsburys to get them .

Once you have it up and running the best method would be to connect it to your home Wi-Fi , I have tested both the casting and the HDMI methods and they both work fine. It’s really cool to be able to mirror what is shown on your phone on such a big screen . I tried it for a mobile game.

Once problem I had at the start but resolved as it was my own fault , I wasn’t able to focus the lens and that is because I was touching the focus button on the remote but what you need to do is hold down the button for a few seconds and you will see the lens move it was excellent.

The sound of the projector isn’t too loud either, you obviously expect some noise anyway but where mine is going to be it will not make any difference as the movie sound will overwrite this .

For the price I would recommend buying this as it is really simple to setup , literally just plug and go . Thanks.

Golden Review Award: 76 From Our UsersThis is my third projector and so far I’m loving it! It’s my first 1080p one and you can really see the difference, it’s super bright and the focus on the remote really is great.

I like that it has touch buttons on the front and a removable dust filter so it can be cleaned. I’ve never seen that in a projector before.

It’s definitely more rugged then my other projectors. I have been using it for 2-4 hours a day now for a week and it doesn’t get hot. It is bigger, but I think that means it can keep cool and thus have a better lifespan hopefully.

Golden Review Award: 83 From Our UsersExcellent projector. The image quality is fantastic, very high quality, it’s native 1080p so you get the full HD quality projection. Not only is it clear but it is also extremely bright too. Colours come though very deep and you can see every detail with sharp clarity. It really is stunning!
The fans are quiet considering other projectors, and I can’t really hear them over the sound of the film anyway, even with the built in speaker it sound great.
The remote is useful and works well, has all of the main buttons that you need, volume and inputs can be changed. Settings on the projector are good, brightness and colour can be adjusted, zoom feature is cool as you can zoom in, and actually zoom out from 100% too to make the image smaller if you want without having to move the projector forwards or backward, again all these settings can be done from the remote accessing the settings menu on the projector.

Overall I am extremely made up with this projector. Not only does it look cool but its features, connection options and of course most importantly the picture quality is truly fantastic

Golden Review Award: 92 From Our UsersThis device works great I’m surprised how easy it is to connect to the phone. You don’t need any cables, of course, except for the power supply, which suits me best when I plan to use it in the children’s room. It also works very easily with a usb guy. The remote control has a strong performance and works without problems, even if it is aimed at the plate and not at the device. focuses with the remote control not on the lens. It also has controls on the top of the device, so in the extreme case it can be set up and used even without remote control. has a built-in basic speaker but I recommend using a bluetooth speaker. What I would say to him is a bit noisy for my taste, but overall it made a good impression on me and I think it is a good choice for normal use at home or for a presentation.

very easy to use with usb key

Golden Review Award: 71 From Our UsersThis projector has made movie nights so much better! It is an excellent value 1080p projector. Its got a good selection of inputs eg hdmi, USB and analogue inputs and multiple ways to display from your phone wirelessly as well as cabled. The picture brightness is clear from a distance as well as during the day without affecting the quality. It also has automatic focusing. It looks high end in quality and sophisticated, it is bulky and feels sturdy. I cannot wait to stream Halloween backdrops during our Halloween party this year!

    Amazing projector!

Golden Review Award: 67 From Our UsersI was so excited to get this and it did not disappoint me one bit. I have been using both my laptop and my fire stick to stream and its brilliant. the picture quality and sound is excellent and I cant see hardly any lag which you would expect specially if you use your phone. the settings are fab to be able to make the picture good and its high quality, it has auto focus too which is excellent so you dont need to faff with it too much. I am yet to try it outside like someone else mentioned in summer but I am certain it wont dissapoint.

Golden Review Award: 92 From Our UsersHonestly the graphic quality is tremendous using this projector. It displays 4K quality with supports all the usual connections such as WiFi or Bluetooth. With 8500 Lumens, the brightness that can be achieved is magnificent. I didn’t need any external speakers to get this going as it has in built speakers which is impressively loud. It’s very good for home cinema or gaming which is my choice of use. You get a smart remote control with it too. I have also noticed that it can be wall mounted too which is my next step. You will have to buy brackets for it as the screws are hidden away under the rubber stubs. Very pleased with this projector.

Golden Review Award: 88 From Our UsersAbsolutely brilliant projector! Very easy and intuitive controls. Easily connected to wifi for streaming as well as Bluetooth. Full HD picture quality is a charm and I can enjoy massive screen in my bedroom without having a massive tv on the wall!
Picture quality is simply excellent wether I play with my PS4 or stream something from my phone/laptop. Brightness is great as well.
Ease of control with a remote control is great, same as connecting using a remote is simple and intuitive.
    Highly recommend

Golden Review Award: 71 From Our UsersWhere to start with this projector, well I guess the best place to start is with the design.

This projector is beautiful, the attention to detail here is fantastic. I have reviewed many projectors from various brands over the last year and this one is by far the nicest design I’ve seen. Esthetically, it’s gorgeous to look at.

The outer edges are black and the top is an almost metallic looking silver, everything also has film on it to project, no fear of marks here when setting up. If you look at my pictures you can see how this looks and it’s really well designed. In my view, It would suit any room, I’ve had others that looked somewhat out of place, this honestly would suit any room no matter what your decor looks like.

The box that it comes in looks premium, others are generally plane with their brand name. With this box it stands out and punches above the rest. Inside the box everything fits nice and securely, attention to detail again here. I particularly like the separate box for cables and the power cord. Others just seem to wedge everything into the box and this for me is normally a let down, plus you don’t want damage to your projector.

Upon opening you will find the projector itself; remote (you need 2 AAA batteries, no real issue there), the power cord, manual, an s-video cable and an HDMI cable.

The power cord is actually a decent length but obviously if you’re ceiling mounting you’ll want a socket at hight to plug into.

I found the remote to be very responsive, I could point at the projector or screen and it would shuffle through the settings no problem.

The s-vid cable I didn’t need as all my devices are mainly HDMI but it is female which is great for connecting old consoles or dvd players.

On the projector you have a decent lense protector. It’s solid plastic and clips on nicely. I’ve had others which are rubber types and really awkward to put back on, especially when ceiling mounting. This one just clips nice and tightly when your done.

The main front section has touch sensitive buttons which allow for menu changes and toggling. In order turn on you have a power button on the rear which also allows for vertical keystone alignment.

You will obviously be using the remote and the functions are the same on there but it’s nice to have this level of capabilities on the unit itself. Others generally have only power on and off within this price range.

I was hoping that this would have an auto source function. I’ve used others where you can automatically select the HDMI to start on that connection. Unfortunately this goes to the main menu when turning on. I would have really expected this function in this price range. It saves time and if like me you’re looking at HDMI as your primary source, it can be annoying to keep toggling to the device input wanted.

On the rear you will find 2 X HDMI ports, 2 X USB ports, one headphone jack and the AV in for the s-vid cable. Your IR sensor is here but as mentioned your remote works pointed pretty much anywhere.

It takes around 20 seconds to load and the first menu you will see is where you can select multi media, input source and settings. Now the OS for this device is similar to others I’ve used, in fact it’s identical to several. In order to navigate you will find it strange at first.

For example, if you go to input source, you will see HDMI 1&2, AV and an option called multiscreen. Upon clicking multiscreen you’re then met with different casting types but there’s settings menu in here for casting. Once you get used to where things are it becomes second nature but it can seem somewhat difficult to navigate at first.

Also on the main remote you have the ability from the home screen to select your the input source menu but if you select multiscreen and then press this button you’re met with a list of quick toggle inputs. This menu button as well, when held then loads a further menu which you can’t access from the main ones.

This is where you adjust when in playback, it’s a bit all over the place but you’ll get used to it.

With that, when watching via HDMI or whatever input, if you wish to change the image you need to hold the menu button. Otherwise you have to keep exiting the playback and adjusting the image blindly as you’re no longer on that input.

By holding you can select the colour tone, aspect ratio, scaling and projection mode but in order to refocus you have to exit and go back to the main menus. To do this you press once and select multimedia, then pick the settings option and focus. You have no idea what the HDMI image will look like as you do this focusing from a focus projection (you’ll see this on my pictures)

You essentially focus so that the wording in each corner is readable. I found this to be somewhat off, I could get the bottom or top perfect but never both. I did however find it didn’t impact on the image when movie viewing but I’ll come to that further down.

Now this project allows casting via Bluetooth, it works well and I had zero issues connecting to my portable speaker, headphones or devices around the house.

It has WiFi but I did have issues here. For whatever reason this OS will not allow inputting of more than 18 characters for your password, others using it also were capped at this limit. My WiFi spots are all around 24 characters. I had to pick a specific wireless switch and then change that password to allow this connect. That then meant my other devices weren’t on my network, one is a wireless camera and the other is a printer. I can’t change my WiFi CCTV cam as it’s now on my outside wall, so after using the projector I had to change back the WiFi password for that access point.

Personally I don’t see the need for the WiFi, I checked whilst connected and it was up to date.

The main reason for the WiFi is DLNA, however I couldn’t get this to work. See my images, my pc wouldn’t connect to this to stream via DLNA. I know exactly what the issue is, the projector assigns itself a bizarre static IP. It doesn’t match the protocols for my internal network. You can’t adjust this and so devices cannot network stream to it. For me this isn’t an issue but if you’re hoping to send via pc via DLNA it won’t won’t.

What you have to do is cast from desktop or your device can mirror. So you can mirror from laptops, tablets, iOS, phones etc.

I tested this via MacBook, laptop, Samsung Tab, Huawei mobile and a Samsung. It works exactly as it should. So DLNA isn’t needed really.

This is the first projector that has actually read my USB dongles. I can confirm that you can playback media, hurrah! Every single other one I’ve tested wouldn’t do this.

Now you’re going to be using this via HDMI, let’s be honest, so I’ll talk about the image and sound quality now.

I found the volume level pathetic if I’m honest. Maximum volume was like listening on a phone, the projector itself isn’t noisy and within the same scope as others I’ve reviewed previously, so I’m not sure why the max volume is so low.

Let’s be honest though it you’re going big screen you’re not going to be playing with the speakers built-in. They’ll be fine for presentations but just use the Bluetooth for your speakers or like me have it connected to a decent surround.

I have my projector on HDMI 2 out from my AV receiver. It’s 7.1 and I have zero need for internal sound. Make sure you turn the volume down when playing back via a receiver, otherwise you’ll have the mute logo bouncing around if you try just muting audio.

Now as mentioned earlier with focusing, you do that on the main settings and then go back to your source. I tested the image (see pictures) using my pc first. I have a GTX 1080ti FTW.

When on my desktop I noticed areas which weren’t in focus. I’ve demonstrated this. If you look carefully you’ll see areas in focus and others slightly blurred.

It was impossible to get this perfect, I had the projector flat, adjusted the keystone to be in line and used the focusing menu. I’d get the bottom perfect but noticed the top blurring slightly.

On the desktop this was evident, but saying that, the writing on the screen was tiny so this blurring can be expected. You’re wanting this for movies not reading after all.

I had the image projecting from around 4.2m on a flat surface. The screen I used was 120″. I needed to adjust the scaling to fit as the image was larger than the screen. I struggled with this at first as I kept going back to the main screen and adjustments weren’t visible until returning to the source. Essentially the main projection remains equal, the scaling reduces but is only evident upon viewing that source.

I soon realised that via holding the menu button I could then adjust the scaling whilst viewing the source. So if you’re having trouble getting your percentage correct, this is how you do it.

I found the keystone worked well for alignment but the degree of tilt is very limited. If you’re angling at more than 10% you may notice issues focusing. Unfortunately there is no horizontal keystone, not major but you will have to have this centrally firing.

The image quality was great. I tested with three different scenarios. One was curtains open, darkened room and then ceiling light on.

All preformed brilliantly, the image was visible with light sources and obviously fantastic with the room blackened.

For daytime viewing it was really good. I could see everything and preformed better than others I’ve had.

Obviously you should use in a room as dark as possible but the fact that it worked in those situations is fantastic.

I found the colouring to be perfect, I didn’t really need to do much adjusting. The standard setting is near enough right. It does a really good job at projecting straight out of the box.

I made some adjustments which you’ll see on my pictures to tighten the levels but there’s no reason why you couldn’t just watch happily from plugging in.

I found the black levels and contrasting were in line with more expensive brands I’ve had and gave a richness to the colouring. You sometimes find blacks look grey but on this they looked great. It allowed for popping colours that were bold and punchy but not over saturating. It looked identical to what you would expect in a cinema, the image looks really nice.

The toning was natural and when playing movies back I found all areas looked to be focused. No blurring, smudging or doubled vision. No real need to worry about making sure the focusing was 100% all over. I set the focusing to make sure the bottom two zones were perfect.

The motion was smooth and reactive. It flowed perfectly between action scenes and panning images.

The projector is native 1080p. Again if you check my pictures you will see the output from my GTX 1080ti. This GPU is capable of 4320p resolutions. It’s ordinarily connected to my pc screen which outputs at 2160p. This would only output at 1080p to this.

I then checked via Sky Q and it wouldn’t recognise 10bit 2160p. I have said this many times but I don’t know why manufacturers are claiming 4k on native 1080p devices. If you want a 4k native capable projector you’re looking at four times this price.

Now I played 4k back on it but only because I used VLC. That renders the image.

All in all I think this projector would look excellent in any home and it performs extremely well. Just make sure you have it central and use a screen, it makes all the difference.

Beautiful design, great picture and USB playback works!!

Golden Review Award: 95 From Our UsersI have used many projectors from different brands from High end to Low end. This projector is perfect, it hits all the top marks overall and provides a very good, comfortable viewing for the user. The picture quality is sharp and focused with nice vibrant colours, Movies, gaming or streaming all work well with this projector, I have watched different types of videos on this projector, and all gave great feedback in terms of colours, sharpness and focus. The set up is also easy for this projector, it comes with USB ports, HDMI ports, AV and headset so there is enough balance on what device you would like to use. The auto focus makes life easier as it focuses the projector without having to do it manually like other projectors. The design is very neat and elegant and brings out a very nice high-end look in your room. The spec of this product is meet the needs for a home cinema powerful contrast ratio and high brightness to give perfect picture viewing experience, sounds quality is also great, built-in stereo speakers do the job and you have the option to connect wireless devices. The Wi-Fi & Bluetooth connection for this is both 2.4 and 5ghz. Compatible with both android and iOS. Highly recommended product!

    Excellent piece of equipment!

Golden Review Award: 71 From Our UsersI’ve always wanted a good quality projector but the price has always put me off them, being as they are 1k+
I was pleasantly surprised at how good this one performs and it has a premium quality feel to it.
It is very quick and easy to set up and there is no lag in the menu when navigating. I have played movies from a usb pen drive and also connected an amazon fire tv stick so we can watch Netflix.
To mount it to your ceiling you will need to remove the 4 rubber feet as there is threads to use a ceiling mount.
We have used a 6ft white blackout blind as they are a lot less expensive than projector screens.
The built in speaker is pretty decent but we have connected a Bluetooth soundbar for the full cinema experience.
The only real downside to this projector is you can not change the aspect ratio when playing media from an amazon firestick. This isn’t much of a problem and I’m sure the developers will implement this feature in future software updates.
The fans arnt as noisy as people make out so don’t be put off.
The remote control works perfect with no lag just make sure your pointing it at the projector and not the blind like me. Haha.
    Overall 5 stars!
Oh and the video I have uploaded to my review is only in 720p. It looks even better in 1080 or 4k

    Very easy to set up

Golden Review Award: 86 From Our UsersThe projector arrived the next day directly from Amazon (prime) and has a really high quality feel about it. I am using the projector paired with a fire stick and using a pair of Amazon Studio speakers for the sound – 4K UHD movies look amazing, with a very bright and sharp image, its almost like being at the cinema!! Another feature I really like is the 5G connection, to use this the projector is paired to my BT router and I can mirror my iphone screen onto the projector, there is no lag. I have had a brief test outdoors (using a bed sheet as a screen) and this will be perfect next summer for a outdoor garden cinema party for the kids. I was initially concerned that there was no bottom screw for the bracket but if you remove the 4 rubber feet the 4 bracket screws are visible. The electronic focus is really good and far better than my previous projector that had a manual focus. The only negative I can find (which is a bit picky tbh) is that the fan is loud, but this is not not noticeable when I use my studio speakers.

    Amazing 4K and outdoor projector!!

Golden Review Award: 63 From Our UsersI’ve used a digital projector for a while now and could never afford one as the good ones were in 4 figures. This one is much less and I did wonder whether it would be ok.
I’ll use it for family and occasional talks I present.
The model I have is not the one illustrated so I will talk about mine. Very little difference between them.
Also I’m not knowledgeable when technicalities are involved.
First thing is the picture quality is very good with excellent colour. For first film I looked in Utube for a mountain film and the one I looked at had a large range of colours which were nicely done with excellent sharpness etc.
Setting up is very easy. I used a laptop and everything on my screen was well presented on the large screen. There are a couple of HMDI ports and I used one. Also bluetooth linkage is available. Focus and sound can be adjusted by remote or laptop. If you have to tilt the projector you twist the on off switch at the back to make image correct.
When you press focus buttons a screen appears for you to judge it correctly. The machine has an inbuilt speaker which is pretty good. You can link a sound system in if needed.
The instructions were basic but ok.
The site says it’s water proof but for the model I have I would not use it there as to many ports to get damp. It’s for inside use only.
I can easily say I’ve been nicely surprised by how good it’s been with ease of use.

Golden Review Award: 68 From Our UsersDue to current citation long time cinemas was closed, in that time we developed new good family tradition, where every Saturday having home cinema day. Recently upgraded out projector to more advance this model due to its 5G wifi and extra high modern features.
With this projector, I can simply watch my favourite movies and shows on a 100-inch or larger screen. For a cinematic movie experience at home, the best 4K projectors bring everything but popcorn out of the packed theatres and into the my living room and capability to pause if kids need to go to the toilet and don’t miss and part of movie.
Projector capable of playing the music files along with projecting photos from good times as well.
In my opinion, this projector is great as it provides 1920 X 1080 resolution, 10000:1 contrast ratio, and 350 ANSI brightness which on lumens above 8500 lumens. I can see each and everything evenly on the screen of 300 inches, very clean . Combination of high resolution and lumen light power it does the great difference.
It is equipped with the most updated 5G WiFi connection along with 2.4G, and so we do not require carrying the hassle of ordering a bunch of adapters. And can connect to new and older tablet due to it has 5 and 2.4G capability. Also capable of projecting from my iOS phone along with my tablet which runs on android platform on a full scale. It also has Bluetooth along with already mentioned dual WiFi connection, and hence I’m able of connecting it to my living room sound system via Bluetooth speakers or headphones.
I use my 360 home sound system however it has own build in stereo speakers that are handy in conferring loud sound quality without the need to connect to the external speakers if don’t have set up one already. With a screen size of about 300 inches, it delivers an outstanding cinematic level experience, if plan to create the home theatre and avoid cinema, this projector does the job, no regrets so far.
Along with powerful projecting lights it generates true-to-life colour images, well balanced on top its contrast ratio 10000:1 which divides amateur and more quality picture results .
Some key Features which got my attention:
Brightness: 350 ANSI or 8500 lumens
Projector screen size from 40 to 300 depending from distance from wall.
    Contrast Ratio: 10000:1
WiFi and Bluetooth connection, wifi Dual 5 & 2.4 Ghz
    Built-in stereo speakers
    iOS and Android compatible
    PROS:
Great image quality. Dual wifi. Wireless, Quiet. Strong signal receiver – remote control works from front and back of the unit. Has small pop out front leg for better image regulation.

    CONS:
Not perfect in a direct sunlight
    Doesn’t have carry case.
Remote control need 2AAA batteries, batteries not included, not big deal as had home some spare batteries but could be better if included.

Equipped with latest technology including 5G wifi and 120 NTSC
