I’m very happy with this purchase and it’s perfect for cutting my laminated papers
I had to give it a 5 star for lightweight because it has hardly any weight to it. This does make it feel a little cheap, cuts paper fine although with card I’d probably only do one sheet at once. Gets the job done, can be a bit inaccurate and cuts aren’t always clean but overall it’s ok for the price.
The extending ruler helps me accurately cut specific lengths without needing to mark up first.
Nice little item considering the price. Does the job of my old, more expensive and now obsolete paper cutter. Recommended.
This is so easy to use wish I had bought one ages ago, I do have a Cutterpillar paper trimmer which has never cut straight and for the money has always been a disappointment so now use this all the time.
I like that it is lightweight and it can cut several sheets at one time
I’ve had this a few weeks now and have been using it almost every day to cut down A4 to A5, but it’s only since returning to leave a review that I noticed from the photo that there’s an arm that comes out to allow you to measure larger pieces of paper! So far I’ve been lightly folding A4 in half, marking the centre point with a pen, and then cutting along the line that starts at the dotted fold point. NO NEED!

It’s also lightweight and safe to use because you need to apply a little pressure to cut.
Works perfectly for my intended use, which is vacuum sealer bag cutting.

It’s easy to use. Accuracy is maybe 80/100 . When I try to cut very thin stripe of paper and it burst… but over all that’s a good item. Recommended.

It’s perfect and exactly what I was looking for, not only that its cuts accurately but also through multiple pieces of paper at once and through thick paper (even 300 gsm), would recommend!!
I use mine for cutting vinyl and paper and it’s held up over the past few months with constant use, highly recommend. Purchased as my other guillotines were either too big and the other too small. Love the fact the ruler protracts so you can measure longer lengths, was tight to start with but once it’s been used a few times it loosens up.
Cuts well, sharp blade and lightweight.
But I don’t like this cutter as I would prefer the cutting edge to be at the outside edge of the board. This is my own personal preference and no fault of the product.
Bought this for my daughter to use for light office work, cutting card and she is delighted with it. Much cheaper than a local supplier I’m sorry to say and it arrived sooner than expected. Very easy and safe to use.
Compact paper cutter. Very easy to use. Does feel a little bit flimsy but great for the price.
It takes a bit of time to get used to for 2 main reasons.
1) You have to apply the right pressure to get a smooth cut – too hard or too light and it just won’t cut. This one has a raised blade(?) for safety purposes. Once you get the hang of it you should be fine
2) Where exactly it will cut is kind of guesswork…
Also its impossible to cut small bits of paper off because of yet again the raised blade and pressure etc.
Would recommend if you want one just to have to cut rough bits of paper from time to time but would definitely not risk this on important work lol

You get what you pay for, its convenient yet flimsy. Its lightweight and easy to store. Its not the best I’ve used but it isn’t the worst either. If its only being used as and when its perfect, for more frequent id recommend spending a bit more money.
For the price this is a great buy ! I use it for my small business , to cut wrappers to size . It can be a little tricky to cut against a specific line as you have to line it up with the cutting line ( the ruler holds the paper in place but the blade doesn’t cut directly against the ruler ) however once you get the hang of it , it’s fine ! It’s still lots better than scissors and I wouldn’t really spend more just to get that little more accuracy !

Good cutter. I had to practice a bit to find that pressing the knife easen the cutting process on the cut corners. Cutter with knife would be easier to use, but for a few uses I got this one got better value for money. Just a bit practice.

I was just looking for a guillotine style cutter to cut the edges off heavy card which I’d used for painting and crafts.
It does the job and is straight forward to use. It also doesn’t take up much space and I store it away safely in the packaging it came it. A good addition for anyone who does paper crafts.
Bought this light easy to use paper cutter to cut some photos for frames and it does the job. It would not do for heavier paper work but fine for my uses. A good price too. Happy with purchase.
It’s very light weight but at that price to be expected. It cuts accurately and with a good edge though I expect the blade will deteriorate quite quickly. So much bette4 than using my scissors and an old straight edge!
I really like this product, although I struggled getting the ruler bit out at first, I didn’t want to yank at it encase it would break, it was stuck, anyways my partner got it unstuck.

Bought two but the second is not working properly, the balance isn’t correct which makes it hard to cut the paper cleaning. Disappointed, given the second one work perfectly fine

Nice finished item. What I like is that you can buy spare wheels, useful if you cut a lot of card, probably no need for if you only cut paper like I do. The plastic guide lifts up and is shaped in the middle so you can get hold of it easily. Handy for removing small pieces of cut off paper and to position the paper for cutting. Full marks for this one.

I needed this one to cut larger bits of paper and card stock. It cuts very well, the scale extender helps a lot, the measurements are in cm and the blades are easy to replace and install.

Great lightweight cutter. I especially like the pop out 90 degree ruler. The safety feature of having to push down on the cutter is clever.

I got this due to home learning and we need to do some art work, it cuts well and is very compact so it s easily stored, the folding edge works well so the cuts are straight.

A good value basic trimmer and just what I was looking for, I don’t know how long the cutting blade will stay sharp or how easy it will be to get a replacement but for now it’s working well and exactly what I need.

This a a very useful piece of kit for cutting straight lines in paper. It can cut up to four A4 pieces of paper at once. This saves so much time and the results are so much more professional. I am not sure if you can change the cutting blade though. I will have to email the seller.

My daughter purchased this for her art and photography A level projects, the product itself is very good and sturdy, however she feels the blade is a little thin and could break quite easily.
I love this. With working in a school it is great to have this to shove into a drawer. The blade is quite sharp as long as it isn’t too thick

Build quality is a worse than i thought although it is cheap. Haven’t tested as of yet.
Edit: Tested & works fine and as expected, not sure how long the blade will last & if you can change it but seems good jusg the plastic build is a bit thin.
Edit 2: Blade doesnt seem very good and started having issues cut 1 sheet of paper after no more than 50 ‘slices’

This guillotine/paper cutter is a good little cutter! It does the job well enough for small home projects or arts and crafts work.
If you need this for any high-accuracy work however, I would consider spending a little more and getting something a little better made.
Lining up the paper with this cutter is a hit-and-miss game. Unfortunately on the item I received, the extendable arm designed to line up paper and guide it in to the cutter doesn’t sit sturdy at 90 degrees, so you can’t rely on it for accuracy.
Similarly, the cutting edge glides over a wide groove, with little in the way of visual aids to help line the paper up.
When it comes to the actual cutting, you have to push the cutter down, simultaneously holding the paper in place and engaging the blade to the cutting position. It seems sharp and I had no issue cutting up to 5 pages at once and I expect it could manage twice that.
A great purchase for home use, but probably wouldn’t be much good for an office/work environment.

The product arrived in a well protected package and in good condition. It works very well but I did struggle to take the shaped part away from the main unit. This did eventually come away in an ark. I am still getting used to operating this.
I love this, its light and compact, and it trims paper just how I’d like it. I don’t use the other features it is capable of. The only downside is it doesn’t trim loads of pieces of paper in one go, I tend to stick with 5-6 which I think is sufficient, but that’s just me being picky really. It’s great for what it does.

This guillotine is not heavy duty. If will cut 3 pieces of paper at most, and craft card so is very good at what it is made for.
It is made of hard plastic not metal, so is fairly lightweight. The blade is a safety blade so you have to push down whilst cutting.
I bought it for my daughter and when it arrived she spent the whole evening cutting and sticking and she had no issues once I taught her to push the blade down to cut.
For its price it’s a bargain, does the job well for cutting 120gsm paper. If you are looking for a budget paper trimmer this is ideal.
