I bought this one not just for the oven space.but the rotary kebab. I have managed to find a basket that fits the spit bar.shame it didn’t come with one.I didn’t realise how large it was. Out of the 3 air fryers.this one is the only one that makes the work surface hot.I have put it on a chopping board.
I love doing a rotisserie chicken, takes an hour using the preset timings. Chicken doesn’t sit in its own fat while cooking so it’s tender and skin is crispy. Easy to clean but always use a non scratch sponge. I wipe mine out while it’s still warm inside. Will not take a large chicken but will take a small to medium no problem. And you must truss ( tie ) the legs and wings up. Interior light won’t stay on all the time but you can press it to see how anything is doing. If you open the door it will stop cooking but once you close the door back up it resumes where it left off.
Cooks really well especially for a big family everything can be cooked at once, in less time and cooks really well. The rotisserie cooked a lovely chicken. Cakes are next on the menu. Am really happy with my purchase bought one for my daughter aswell
First let me say should this give up the ghost tomorrow I’d be straight on to Amazon to buy another. You can read about all the bits and pieces that come with it in the product description so I won’t go over them except to say they’re all extremely useful, work as expected and the rotisserie element makes ‘thee’ best chicken and with a bit of doofferring you can also fit a meat joint on to it.
It cooks even faster than the Cosori air fryer it replaced, cocktail sausages 12 minutes at 180C, shortbread a similar time, frozen pizza took 6 minutes and the best cheese on toast with that lovely cheese pull took 4 minutes. My kettle doesn’t even boil that fast!
Now for the niggles….
The highest temperature is 200C. I have a few things I would normally cook at 210 or 220 , instructions for oven chips usually say to cook them at 210C. Searing a steak needs a high temperature to start with.
Make sure you use the glue dot things to anchor the unit. It is difficult to pull the dor open and if not anchored then it tends to move.
Arthritic hands struggle opening the door, I have to do the pull push dance, one hand on the handle ready to pull down, the other on the main body ready to push against the pull.
The white logo smears with the heat. Like I said little niggles, nothing that would make me want to return it.
Used to working a halogen oven and thought I would try this oven and I am surprised how good it is with its compact size and efficient oven. Cooked the obligatory spit roast chicken, which really tasty. Would recommend.
Good little oven temperature control is quite accurate one little problem is that you can not have the oven light on with the door open second one of these I purchased they are in constant use and the first one I bought is 2 years old and going strong
Can’t believe why I haven’t bought an air free before. This AceKool one i chose is just brilliant. So glad I chose this model with the window. The kebab prongs for the rotisserie were hard to fit in, but after I used the pliers to squeeze the hooks together, they went in so easily, and were still secure.
I like to make my own chips.par boil and fry light the potatoes. These will take 1 hour to bake in a Main oven. With this air fryer, they cooked beautifully crisp and golden in 9 minutes!! Unbelievable, but true! So pleased, so 5 stars from me.
Nearly bought one of the two basket air fryer’s on ‘Amazon Day’ but missed out on the deal. Went for this instead and very happy with it. Loads of room to cook a few small things at once or one large thing (eg leg of lamb or 2.2kg chicken.
Saving us a fortune on electricity as we almost never use the regular oven anymore.
This is an excellent oven. It’s compact on the outside but offers a good internal size with an easy access glass door. So far it has cooked everything perfectly. Easy to use and easy to keep clean. The only negative is that it’s a little noisy.
plenty of room in it . just learning how to make cakes in it 2nd one was great.
Fits great on my work top.
easy to clean.
I’m happy with my purchase.
Purchased this oven in November 2022 has worked fine until the last couple of weeks I plugged the oven in and it blew my electrics reset electric plugged it back in and it did the same again contacted acekool and the replied stating that it had been passed on to the customer service department and they would be in touch that was 2 weeks ago contacted them after the first week and they have not bothered to reply disgusting customer service would not purchase anything from them again and certainly would not recommend.just a quick update since posting my original review this seller has now fully refunded me my money which is great news a full apology was issued by the company for the faulty goods so I have changed my star rating based upon the company’s response thank you.
Really useful oven – quick to cook, handy and immediate heat. Food is well cooked, and uniformly cooked, and the rotating basket is a bonus. Bought this primarily for the rotisserie, which is fab. Downside is that the metal trays provided developed spots of rust reasonably quickly, and the supplier does not supply these separately. I ended up buying some stainless steel baking trays which do the trick – just (as they are marginally smaller than the width of the oven itself and often “fall” out of the grooves, which is very annoying). So I would recommend buying this oven, but wish the accessories were better quality.
Our oven suddenly stopped working but my inlaws gifted us a near new air fryer & with the current financial situation we used it at least twice a day until our Chihuahua managed to jump on our side in the kitchen & pulled ours off & we just had a hob & microwave, until I found this amazing large air fryer & at an absolute bargain price. Highly recommended, You can do so much with it then the cost of using it well 1st time I’ve been happy with the cost suitable for a larger household id say minimum 3 to 5/6 portions/people
After researching both air fryers and mini cookers I am glad I choose this one. I have cooked a vareity of different foods form from crumpets to casserole and all have cooked well. It does take a bit of trail and error as the instruction booklet doesn’t give any details or explain to preset options. With the big window and light it is easy to check on the food and you can always stop it and change the setting.
**UPDATE**
This broke down within a year of purchasing, luckily amazon are amaizing ay returning things. You cant cook anything in it over 200c and the timer cant be set for more than 60mins at a time which is a pain when cooking meat. Found a 26L same wattage one for 169.99 can cook at higher temps and can cook for longer at a time.
I bought this to replace a ninja dual a300, I found with the ninja it was expensive to run, and couldnt fit as much in it. I find this air fryer amaizing, the only frustrating thing I find is considering you can cook meants that take over 2 hours to cook in it, the timer doesnt go above 1 hr, meaning if you do other jobs say whilst doing a rotissery in it, you have to remember to go back to it to turn it back on, I set an alrarm on my phone. Ive not switch my oven on since having this, I find it alot more versatile than the ninja and slightly cheaper to run too. Ive managed to fit 3 different full size pizzas in, if done diaganally you can fit 2 garlic bread sticks in per tray and ive just done a medium chicken on rotissery, I think I could fit a large one in but its going to take more practice at tieing it first and placing it on the rack.
Had ours for a couple of months and only used the kitchen oven once during that time.
The rotisserie function is great. Most succulent roast chicken and pork I’ve ever cooked, and the crackling on the pork was phenomenal.
Pizzas, home made chips, general everyday cooking all great. Yet to master Yorkshire puddings and toad in the hole, and lasagne took a while to get right as hot so fast the past want cooked, but adjusting time and temp and learning as I go.
Only 2 negatives so far. Find it didn’t to clean inside and our drip tray is already beginning to lose it’s coating.
Best things:. Good tastes amazing and is ready so much quicker.
Very pleased with this purchase. Were still getting used to the tings a few months later, but it’s certainly saved on the electricity bills.
It says dishwasher friendly and we pop the silver trays in the dishwasher with no issues – we were reluctant at first but we’re getting through dish sponges like nobody’s business as it just shreads them!
The little black tray at the bottom is not dishwasher friendly and so we have been gently cleaning that after reading previous reviews. However, it has still started to peel in some places which is disappointing.
It’s big enough to make a roast dinner in for two, but for four people you’ll need to use a conventional oven.
Since buying it several months ago we’ve used our convential oven only a handful of times. We do really love this product.
After debating for ages about an air fryer we ended up buying this one mainly because we have 3 if not 4 people to feed at meal times. We’ve barely had the oven on since buying it. Our model didn’t come with the frying cage but we did purchase one and it can fit enough chips in to feed a family of 4. With the cage in you can just about fit food on the lowest shelf although it does take longer to cook at the bottom. We use the two shelves plus the drip tray to cook food and so long as you keep an eye and shift the shelves around it’s all good. The rotisserie bar was brilliant for a whole chicken and was done in about 45 min which was impressive. The only downside is the volume of the beeping which is far too loud. If it had adjustable volume it would be perfect!
After having a smaller air fryer oven which I loved, I upgraded to this much larger capacity item. It looks very sleek and stylish on the worktop and is very easy to operate. I regularly use all functions and cleaning is very simple because all the trays go into the dishwasher. I have been so impressed with it that I bought a second one to use at my holiday lodge. I was particularly happy that last week I used it to cook a complete Sunday lunch for 8 people. The rotisserie cooked a shoulder of pork perfectly with lovely crackling like I’ve never been able to achieve in a regular oven, also did roast potatoes and vegetables which were amazing and it even turned out fabulous Yorkshire puddings. Everyone was very impressed. The only fault I have found is that the coating on the drip tray is flaking off which is disappointing.
I don’t know how I managed without this in my life. No waiting for the oven to heat then 20-30 minutes wait OH this bad girl does it it a jiff
I have told all my friends love it best thing I’ve ever bough
Looks good easy to use ,cooks even and fast . Saving money on the electric bill not having to use the oven etc .. just love it so far !!!
I have air fried meat, pastries toast etc., and the results were good. It saves heating an oven for small things.
The fryer is not easy to clean and the rotisserie fittings might be tricky for some.
We have had several air fryers over the years and this is the best so far. Very pleased with the space inside, cooks quicker than others we have used and doesn’t take up too much space.
We have made plenty of things in it and it has a nice amount of space. My only complaint would be the door does not slide off for cleaning like my old one which made it really easy to clea
Came quickly very easy to use wish it had a better recipe book but other than that brillia
I’m SUPPER HAPPY WITH THE AIR FRYER OVEN but same time disappointed.
It’s quite big inside, very fast cooking baking etc
Disappointed because the Seller said NO ACCESSORIES AVAILABLE THIS OVEN FRYER.
IF SOMETHING BROKEN THEN HAVE TO BUY NEW AIRFRYER OVEN IF YOU WANT IT’S FULLY FUNCTIONING CONTINUES.
THAT’S WHAY I’M DISAPPOINTED
Literally love this, I couldn’t recommend it enough. Easy to use, easy to clean. Saves money and time, and everything I’ve cooked in it tastes amazing.
It was easy to use and it is faster than a normal oven and you choose a program and press a button and great on price .
I just used the preset program for chips, never changed any settings, cut some spuds into chips, washed them, put them in the included round basket, sprayed them with oil ( fry light ) and pressed the power button ( checkout the video ) they were cooked all the way through and tasted great. They are different from cooking in a chip pan full of oil. Much healthier for you. I can’t wait to try other foods, and it’s quicker.
Used today for the first time cooked a full chicken and chips and it was great cooked for 4 people did chips on the shelves and the chicken on the rotisserie
My main reason for purchasing this was to cook chips for a family of 4. I’m fed up waiting for my main oven to heat up so I can cook a few chips or small individual meals, I wanted something that could be used immediately. I also have had chips from smaller air fryers & didn’t like them so decided to try this oven. I’m very impressed with the air fryer oven & have hardly used my main oven for anything since I got it. The chips are great both homemade & frozen. but it does so much more. There is lots of room in the oven, 3 trays & a basket so I’ve used it to cook full dinners. Chicken is fab, moist & crispy, pizza, homemade garlic bread using pizza dough, roasted veg, roasted fish and veg, a full irish breakfast (rashers, sausages, pudding, toast, I haven’t cooked eggs yet but I will try that next time) . I love how simple it is to use. I have used the rotating basked for chips but they cook equally well on the trays. I’m looking forward to cooking a chicken & kebabs. I can see this replacing my main oven for most of the week. Also I can see my teenagers using it for healthy snacks & lunches as it’s so easy to use & clean. Chicken coated in cornflour with seasoning & a spray of oil is just like southern fried chicken. Cleaning up has been easy so far. I soak trays & wipe door glass down after use, no scrubbing !! It’s my favourite buy. I’ll update my review when I cook roast chicken & few more dishes. 2 weeks in I’m delighted & expect to use it daily if not a few times a day !! The ease & speed of cooking means cooking has become fast & so we can have homecooked healthy food on the table faster than processed foods, win win!!!
There’s quite a few of these fryer/ovens about but I chose this one because firstly, it was fractionally bigger than some of them. Second I liked the bigger viewing area through the door and third, it’s the only one I found that displayed both time and temperature simultaneously instead of one or the other.
Altogether a very nice bit of kitchen hardware that’s a joy to use.
I’ve only had it for a few days but so far I’ve cooked a rotisserie chicken (in half an hour) and two large loaves of bread in full size bread pans, along with basic things like sausages, fish fingers, chips and roast potatoes.
In the case of the bread, the ‘dehydrate’ mode allowed me to speed up proving the bread at a perfect temperature, and the bread was browned perfectly. Unfortunately my normal oven is an electric ‘conventional oven’ with top and bottom heating elements and no fan. This has meant that baking – and even things like Yorkshire puddings – are pretty horrible to cook. This oven should not only give me back some freedom in terms of bread making but will also save a bit of time and electricity too.
I have found the oven very easy to clean so far, and given the capacity – which will easily fit a loaf tin, a ‘medium ‘sized chicken (in my case from Aldi) and a couple of roasting tins loaded with enough food to feed perhaps four people – this product should be invaluable. I think it will also come in handy at Christmas, for cooking additional items that would otherwise take up space in the main oven.
So…so far so good. I will update this review if the oven blows up or melts but I can’t recommend it highly enough at the moment.
Large space, perfect cooking all around easy instructions, love it.
Was a bit sceptical at first as we have an Air fryer that cannot cook fries. I read the reviews and thought I would take the chance and get one. These kind of products needs experimenting with to find your niche in your cooking. With fires which I am cooking now, I had to settle on a formula to get it to work. I use 10mls of oil, sprinkle on the fries in a bowl, try to coat the fries in a bit of oil. After this I the fries or any program but reduce the temperature to 180c and set it to 18 minutes. When I do this the edges of the fries do not burn and also it comes out neat and crispy.
Very happy with it. The wife believes me now cos she was very sceptical even more than myself
