Un buen finger drummer para empeza
Lo compr por la relacin calidad precio y para tener un banco de pads para hacer racks de bateras est muy bien. S que es verdad que para hacer algo ms avanzado necesitars un tutorial porqu en la caja no hay instrucciones concretas (ej. Asignar sonidos a los distintos bancos y navegar por ellos).
It's a great product. I am using it with Melodics app to learn finger drumming. Works like a charm and I am enjoying it. The keypads are soft and sensitive, making them fun to play with.

Super cooles Teil
Das Gert lsst sich ganz einfach anschlieen und installieren, weil das macht Windows 11 ganz alleine in wenigen Sekunden.
Was lnger dauert das Gert zu registrieren damit man die MPC-Beats Software runterladen kann.
MPC- Beats ist genauso wichtig wie das Gert selbst, auer man hat eine ander Musik Studio Software.
Tip: wenn ihr wie ich beim Downloaden den Fehler 500 angezeigt bekommt, dann schreibt den deutschen Kundendienst an oder ruft dort an die schicken euch dann den direkt Link. Die beiden Leute dort sind auch sehr nett.
I use this for EZDrummer 2 and it works great. Even with it made of plastic, it is very sturdy. I read some reviews of it saying that it would double trigger or trigger pads next to it. The only way I got it to do that was to turn on the full level button. With full level on, it will trigger other pads next to it and do double triggers. Off, it works just fine. the pads are very durable and can take a hit. I would recommend this for a beginner for how well it is made and how easy it was to set up. All I did was plug it in and it was ready to go. Another cool thing is that it is powered through the USB port so no external power is needed.
Buen aparato, problemas con el software incluido
El aparato est muy bien en cuanto a calidad, no he tenido problemas para conectarlo y usarlo con mis DAW y VST de batera. Pulsando los PADS con una tcnica correcta no da problemas de doble golpeo del que tanto se habla, los PAD de Akai no se pulsan con la misma tcnica que unos de Maschine.
El verdadero problema est siendo al intentar descargar parte del software gratuito que se ofrece con el producto. El “MPC BEAT” da un problema de servidor y no hay forma de descargarlo y de “Sonivox Big Bang Cinematic Percussion y Big Bang Universal Drums” no aparece enlaces de descarga ni en la documentacin del producto ni en la web de Akai

Acquisto perfetto e prodotto molto versatile
Pacco arrivato nei tempi previsti come al solito..Amazon nn sbaglia mai prodotto usb autoalimentato: attaccato al mac, lo ha visto subito. Registrato il prodotto sul sito akaipro e scaricato plugin drumsynth ed editor (meglio cercare l’editor da google perch sulla pagina del mio account akaipro non c’era). Il pad ben reattivo e molto facile da editare. In poco l’ho configurato per mainstage. Logic lo vede subito. Lo consiglio per il live e per piccole produzioni domestiche. Non un machine o similari, quindi non ha molte possibilit di lavorare sulla “quantit”, ma un ottima device per batterie o program change.
Excellent product for the money!
Still have a few things to figure out with this but so far its really great, easy to use!! I havent tried the software that comes with them yet, comes with instruction videos which is great.
So far Ived used it in FL Studio FPC and works great. It was lagging at first which I was worried about but I changed the audio settings to Realtek asio and it fixed the lag straight away. Solid piece of equipment, seems really great quality and you can do so much with it!
Good but a steep learning curve
Bought this for my husband. He loves it, but struggled with the software for it. He’s had it a few months now and after troubleshooting and some modifications on buttons triggering twice, he’s cracked it and loves it.
I wouldn’t buy if you’re not confident with computers or handling software mods. If you’re tech savvy, go for it but get ready for some googling on how to fix certain issues!

Che dire?! Una potenza assoluta nonostante sia quasi l’entry level Akai.
Andiamo con ordine: spedizione amazon impeccabile, lo scatolo arrivato intatto e contiene:
– mpd218;
– cavo usb;
– documentazione varia.
Il prodotto, come detto prima, una potenza. Possedevo gi un mpd16 e volevo rinnovare un po’ la strumentazione. Il touch and feel dei tasti il classico akai, inconfondibile. I pad, al momento della pressione, hanno il bordo inferiore che si illumina di rosso.
L’mpd218 dispone di 6 potenziometri, 16 pad e 3 differenti bank (quindi come se fossero 48 pad e 18 potenziometri).
Una volta collegato al mio mac non ho dovuto configurare assolutamente nulla se non le impostazioni del DAW che utilizzo.
Al momento della recensione non ha segni di cedimento.
Quando ho acquistato questo mpd sapevo gi che tipologia di prodotto stavo acquistando, sono pienamente soddisfatto e consiglio l’acquisto a chi vuole un ottimo controller midi senza spendere una fortuna.
Ovviamente un prodotto che merita 5 stelle!

Excelente producto
Hola soy productor musical y beat making de verdad recomiendo este producto. Tuve un poco de dudas de entre el arturia beat o este sin embargo y no dudando si arturia sea buena marca (que se que si) me decid por este ya que tienen grandes pads ultra sensibles que da una respuesta muy cercana al 0 y por ende la ms elevada al 127 como parametro de velocidad midi. Creo que no todos los daws vienen con troubleshooting para usar con estos ya que si algo me ha costado es leer los Knobs en addictive drums sin embargo y no he encontrado hasta ahora los preset para cada daw, se que al menos funcionan perfecto. De verdad me parece un buen producto al costo de no ms de 120 USD. Lo recomiendo y se gana las 5 estrellas. Pads suaves, lo suficiente elegante, quizs pudo ser ms robusto y no plstico pero bien. Muy cmodo y personalizable.
Lo nico que no me gust: hay un pequeo mensaje y no especfica cul de las partes en la que se hizo es el causante:
En un pequeo mensaje en la caja y en resumidas letras dice que algn componente que puede contener DIISONONYL PHTALATE (componente cancergeno) est includo o dentro de la fabricacin. No soy qumico ni nada pero asumo que sean los pads y algo relacionado con el petrleo. Deberan ser ms especficos en qu manera puedo uno maniobrar este tema. De resto, cumple con todo lo que necesito muy esttico y suave.
Really cool device.
I just got this, plugged it into my Mac, fired up Garageband and it worked. No set up, nothing. Just added a drum track and it just worked.
It seems to be well built, especially for the price. Pads feel good. It came with the USB cable required.
It’s my first drum pad so it’ll take time to get good with it. So fun to use! Really great purchase so far. Perhaps I’ll come back do another review after I’ve had it for awhile.
Wish I had gone for the MPD232
It’s not bad, but 4 faders/encoders is just not enough. There are 3 control banks so you could use 3 x 4 faders but I find it rather difficult to use it this way. If I had to buy it again I would have opted for the MPD232.

Great product for music creation, the touch pads are force sensitive so its really easy to use.

C’ sicuramente di meglio ma non a questo prezzo. Dicono di stare attenti a che tutti i pad abbiamo la stessa sensibilit pi o meno in quanto il QC non il massimo. Se vi capita un esemplare ben fatto avete fatto centro e speso poco. Per quel che devo farci io pi che sufficiente.

Great for the price!
This is a nice little drum pad for beginners or those who only need a cheap pad for some basic studio drum work.
As others have stated, its main drawback is the tendency for “double hits” and some slight sensitivity issues. This really isn’t much of an issue if you’re only using it for casual work.
If you’re really into drum work, it might be worth getting a slightly more accurate pad as the “double hit” issue might frustrate you.
I mainly got this pad for the light work I do with drums, so it really does the job well for my needs.
The build quality seems sturdy enough, it’s a good size and weight, and has enough features for the price.
KOALA SAMPLER friendly. Worked just fine. Mapping in app was great. Just couldn't map the tap tempo. Haven't tried it on pc yet. So far so good. Does what i wanted it to do. Map all 64 pads and effects knobs and sliders.

Works like a charm. I use it for triggering my samples in Rekordbox and it works perfectly.
