I bought this camera for my helmet to set up as a chin mount and it is just what I need to record my journeys so big up to akasotech for their great produc
Like – waterproof casing is secure, simple to change modes during use, great accessories
Dislike – not the best photo/video quality, and the sound quality isn’t amazing when camera is in waterproof casing.
Overall – great value for money for action camera! Would recommend 🙂
So far it looks to be nice and light and compact. Nice to also get an assortment of accessories in the box and the inclusion of the waterproof case is a real benefit. After just a small amount of testing at home it looks to have adequate image stabilisation and links well with my phone. I will update the review once it has completed the full range of holiday activities but from what I can see out of the box it looks to be good value for your money.

Ordered this camera before going traveling for a month to the Philippines. It has been great for getting all types of shots in and out of the water! Extremely easy to use, great quality photos and videos! So simple to connect to your phone and get access to the photos and videos straight away! A great purchase!

Bought this camera to take to the Maldives later this year. Picture and video quality is great, really looking forward to getting some fab video and photos. I was looking at the GoPro but stumbled upon this, so glad I did! Came with lots of accessories, love the remote control, no more asking people to take photos of us!
Can not fault this camera at all have used this on my recent holiday aboard quality of sound and picture was amazing, also the underwater feature is unbelievable the video quality is Crisp and sound is still good qaulitly have recommend this to all my freinds and family
I bought this to take on holiday because I had a snorkel mask with a Go Pro mount. It’s great how many accessories you can get at a good price and the footage from the camera is as good as I hoped. Forget about sound from the waterproof case though. All I could hear was a very loud banging from the bead inside the snorkel.

Using this product for outdoor activity (cycling) mostly as a dash-cam and from time to time to capture the paths I’m taking.
Works pretty well for what I wanted
I use this on my daily cycle commute, helping to explain to drivers why close passes are unnerving for cyclists.
I took it to a holiday in turkey, I had loads of fun with it. Very light weight and easy enough to use. Glad that it came with a bunch of accessories and an extra battery. All my friends complimented me on the video quality.
Ok, so at this price you’re not going to match the quality or features of a GoPro.
However, what you DO get is a decent quality camera, with 4K capability for a fraction of the outlay.
The included waterproof case and two batteries make this a no-brainer.
Ordered this camera as I work as a civil engineer. I need an action camera that could be mounted to the inside of my work van and film my travels so that I can watch the footage back later and spot anything I may have missed. It has worked brilliantly so far and has done exactly what I had hoped for, it also has to possibility of acting as a dash cam which is great and can now replace the seriously outdated one that was there previous.
Really happy with the AKASO camera. Being a beginner it is a great start into that kind of photos but also for more advanced people. The quality is great and I used it very much especially during the summer and underwater images. Value for money and thoroughly happy with it!

Used this as a dash cam mounted to my helmet whilst I am on my motorcycle and I cannot stress enough how good it works, I cannot fault the dash cam
Fantastic product that comes well packaged with absolutely loads of extra’s including a remote control.
I have fully tested the waterproof case with absolutely no leaks, but an as-expected microphone sensitivity reduction whilst recording video in the case.
Photos and videos are of fantastic quality with a very good image-stability (anti shake) system pre-built into the camera. However I noticed the camera can struggle in low-light situations and playback video quality can become a little pixelated.
Battery length is very good, with a charging dock included and a total of 2 batteries in the box, there is also the option to buy more spare batteries on Amazon if necessary.
SD compatibility is Micro-SD with no need to format it by using the camera, and the amount of remaining photos/video length clearly shown before and after use.
Overall a fantastic value for money action camera!
My only issue: You have to ensure the correct date and time is re-set in the camera when the battery is changed as there is no internal backup circuit battery for holding this information. This can be resolved by ensuring the camera remains powered on and connected to a micro-usb power source whilst swapping the batteries, but this unfortunately will be difficult if you don’t have a powerbank on hand when your swapping batteries outside and away from home.
Despite this, I still strongly recommend this camera to other potential buyers!

Great value for money and came with a bunch of useful accessories. Easy to set up and use. Was a present for my 9 year old and he’s very happy with it.
Bought for this cruise, and underwater shots, but water condition not great, and forgot to use dive mode. Its very portable & selfie stick means I could put camera over the airboat side for clear vid of alligators Wow! Was worth it. Remote was ideal but found velcro strap awkward to fit. Vids are fairly steady. Battery lasted full 10days with 15 min a day use so can’t complain. Will use on bike next, then cruising again in september.
I used the EX7000 Pro for underwater filming on a family holiday in the Maldives. The results were excellent!!! Now I have dozens of photos and videos of our snorkelling and diving experiences that I will keep forever!
I bought this camera as I was going on my Honeymoon to several destinations, including The Maldives. I wanted a camera that would be able to record underwater during snorkelling trips and didn’t want to fork out the extortionate costs for something like a GoPro – AKASO to the rescue!
The camera comes with a TONNE of accessories including a waterproof case which works excellently when underwater, allowing you to switch camera modes and start recording easily.
While the 1080p resolution works great, the camera most definitely isn’t 4K resolution as it shows very grainy and distorted video. I wasnt too fussed about super clear quality video so was happy to use it at the reduced 1080 resolution for my underwater video needs.
We brought this camera to use for snorkeling on holiday with very low expectations – but it exceeded every one of them. This is a fantastic little camera that comes with loads of mounts and adaptors. Videos are great- photos are a little harder but once you get the hang of it they are fine. Would highly recommend it. We did buy a separate floating handle which I’d also recommend as it is very small and quite fiddly to use underwater so easily dropped
Set up seems quite straightforward and the device is very compact.
Bought as a present for my son. Nice packaging. Seems good quality. He is chuffed with the touch screen.
Recently purchased and impressed so far. Definitely good value for money and comes with plenty of mounting accessories. As others have said, the quality is not as good as a GoPro for example, but an excellent option at this price. Make sure you get a micro SD card as this is not included.
