This machine is amazing. I have had what I thought was a sinus infection and I received my Allen room air filter two weeks ago and I no longer have a stuffy and drippy nose. I had a dust allergy. It’s amazing how that machine has cleared my bedroom of the dust. I’ve definitely noticed hardly any dust on the furniture . I highly recommend this room air filter..

We did notice a decrease in tiny feathers from our pillows, cat hair and dust in our bedroom. Our baby is sleeping with us and she was getting stuffy nose from all the dust. If you have asthma if you were suffering on a daily basis with allergies asthma it does not matter this is for you I suffer with severe allergies and asthma for years. I have been to multiple hospitals since a child this device is going to save me so much money in medicine. Before 2008 I would buy my rescue inhaler for 15 bucks but we all know since then play band that unhailer saying that particular inhaler was killing ozone. So much like me and every other bad asthmatic out there is spending over $1000 a month and the stupid inhaler that does nothing we also have to buy steroids that do nothing I urge anybody that is in the same boat that I am to purchase this air purifier I have never gone one night without having multiple asthma attacks since I’ve gotten this I’m on night two. I never knew That this would ever be a normal again. I ordered one for my office, and we all immediately noticed the difference in air quality and we felt more confident that we were breathing clean air. I ordered one for my house as well. But now, after receiving TWO of these, Amazon is not shipping to either address, so I couldn’t order another one for my daughter. Also, the cost of this item is skyrocketing! I originally paid $299 and now you can’t find it for under $499!
Overall, I am very happy with this. My one complaint is that the white front panel is very, very shiny — so much so that the unit calls attention to itself rather than disappearing into the background. The white on the back of the unit has a soft matte finish, and I would have much preferred that. I am contemplating buying one of the “designer” front panels but unfortunately I don’t like any of those, either. Those are mostly bright colors, faux wood, or faux metal — again, calling attention to themselves rather than receding.
This air purifier is really ideal for my living space. It’s easy to move around, looks great, and is user friendly. I love how I can turn it on full blast and clean the entire space in under 30 minutes. On low and medium speed it is quiet enough not to even notice it is on. Overall, very satisfied with this purchase and I can rest assured my air quality has improved in my living space.
I run 5 purifyors in my home and spend a lot of money on them all. This one was a surprise. I loved all the features. I can see the functions. It’s quiet and I mean quiet. The timer is great and the clean filter feature it great. Easy to remove the front to vacuum the filter. Just not a mess. I ordered a back up filter at the same time so I don’t have to search down the road. This is an excellent buy and works beautiful. I compared the other unit I use in the same room and this one pulled at least 3x the particals and dander from the air. So glad I found a priced right and does the job unit. Buy it!

I got my kids two guinea pigs, and was SO worried about the smell, given they were going to be kept in my daughter’s 10×12 bedroom. We had had one before, and it always made our home smells terrible. I ordered this specifically for that purpose. While this was probably bigger than we needed, what I will say is that I can be standing right next to the cage and cannot smell a thing. You would never know that we have guinea pigs, and for anyone who has ever owned one, that is pretty extraordinary. My daughter has also not had any allergies or illness which also often happened when we had one previously. There were not a lot of reviews talking about rodents or small pets, so I wanted to make sure people were aware that this purifier works amazingly well for that purpose!

There are so many choices on the market, but given 3rd party validated performance on this product and the design-forward look of this product, I decided to make the investment. Easy to move. Very quiet. Looks nice. Easy to change the filter and or set up. Fast shipping. Con: no Ionizing function like the other models. Ordered the next size up to get that feature. Would recommend this model for anyone that doesn’t care about the ionizing function. Good size for a bedroom.
My life has changed tremendously by purchasing this air purifier. I can now breathe and stopped sneezing. You immediately notice a change to the air after having it on. I have two cats and wood floors so between the dust and cat hair this Eliminates both issues. Especially the smell of the litter box!
Amazing product, very quiet and thoroughly purifies my air. I bought this product to use in my family room. I also have 4 dogs that mostly play in this area when everyone is on the lower level. The smell had gotten really bad in the mornings and I had to sweep the floors and dust quite often. Now smell is gone, dust level is very minimal and sneezing has subsided. It’s amazing. It’s been barely a week but I really love this product.
I should add that we’ve also changed the location of the doggy crates and bed which used to be in the family room. However the dogs still spend most of their time in the family room and everyone is happy
It works great and it’s so pretty. The only complaint about it is that I wish it has automatic function so whenever air turns bad it adjusts power mode itself.

The air feels cleaner and the purifier has also helped us combat the smoke seeping into our house vents from a neighbor’s heavy-smoke fires at their pit. It is quite pricey in comparison to others. However, I like the cover options (I purchased two) since it can also serve as a room decor. This was recommended by a friend who took care of a cystic fibrosis patient, claiming it made her life easier to live.
It’s quite and the house seems less dusty. I can not verify this but we’re dealing with COVID-19 in our house and it makes us feel hopeful it help keep the air cleaner.
I took off one star for this. Everyone is different and filter needs vary. I’m not sure why they would require this but it almost made me want to return the product as I don’t like auto purchases.
This is a great air purifier, I have Asthma so when I come home its great I can breathe easy. Its such a difference from the air quality outside. I would buy this brand of air purifier from here on out.
My husband is renting a small business space and this air purifier is the perfect size to help purify the air from Covid-19 in such a small space. It is also very quiet.
I’ve got no complaints. The first two fan settings are soundless (in my environment). I normally use the third fan speed, which does make sound, but not much and even kinda soothes my sleep. Instructions say the one filter must be replaced around every 8 months (pending usage and air quality), so maintenance is minimal. It has a feature that turns off all the console lights so they don’t light up your bedroom at night–REALLY liking that. And the thing looks pretty sharp too, which is yet another plus. I just can’t think of anything bad to say. Was an excellent buy.

I really suffer from allergies, almost year round. I had a small hepa filter that wasn’t doing the job I needed it to. I hesitated about spending so much on a larger one, especially given the fact that replacement filters are expensive and may be hard to find, but I’m glad I purchased it. The wood look unit looks great in our small, 580 sf home that features many bamboo walls. I believe it’s helping a lot and I’m happy with the noise level.

Was seeing a lot more dust in the house since the family is home more (as an added challenge we have Guinea Pigs). We had a smaller air purifier and had to upgrade. I can’t say is doing much more than our original Germguardian. The noise and light levels are more accommodating, however so consider how much space you need to control when purchasing.
Geez, I didn’t realize the air in our room wasn’t that clean until I ran this guy for a few hours! The air had such a light, crisp feel to it that quickly confirmed my need for this purchase. Our youngest has allergies, and always started reacting in our room as we have a bird in that area. After this ran, hes not once reacted. We have a Dyson and a Holmes in another room, but after seeing the quality and fast results (check the filter after a few days) of this one compared to those, we will be getting rid of the others and purchasing nothing but these. We’ve had ours for a few months already upon writing this review.

I absolutely love this machine! I suffer from allergies and could no longe use a fan so circulate air and provide white noise. This solves both problems! It’s easy to use and vacuum the outer filter which I do about once per month with dogs. I believe the “auto” actually works and I was skeptical.
This is a great product.
I live in a one hundred year old building converted into lofts. I have a big open space with one 1/2 wall, so it’s basically open @1,500 sq. ft. I have dust. I have allegories. Nothing has worked to relieve these issues until this arrived. The quality and ease of use great. It has plenty of adjustments/options for use, if needed. The only noise is when on highest level and then it’s not too load for me. Even the packing was quality!
For the first time in many, many nights, I have been waking without feeling stuffy and congested. This thing is AMAZING!

100% going to buy my mom one. Thing moves air through it about equivalent to the suction from a shark vacuum hose. I have 4 dogs huskies and Shepard’s, I have to vacuum the filter about once every 2 weeks it’s super satisfying. Completely eliminated dust problem in house. Always on turbo and I run it with lights off and I constantly have to check if it’s on that’s how quiet it is. The filters run about 80$ but I mean thats average price for hepa filters depending on lifespan. Interchangeable front panels so the value is there for years to come. Buy it.
I own two long hair cats, I was always seeing fly away hair and I vacuum every day. Everything about the Alen BreathSmart is so easy, effective and the design is sleek to fit your decor. I purchased one for my son who has four dogs and a second smaller one for the master bedroom. Worth the purchase.
I’ve been using this for close to a month now. My neighbors smoke indoors and it seeps over into my place (multiple units in one building) and drives me nuts. With the purifier running on 2 or 3 fan speed I can clear the stink in a short time within a large room. Don’t be fooled by the lifetime warrantee, it’s contingent on you subscribing to Alen’s filter subscription which I didn’t want to do. Either way, it runs quiet, clears the room, and has worked reliably so I’m happy.
Easy box removal and simple to set up. I bought this for my finished basement and it does great job purifying the air. After 1 hr of running, I noticed a big improvement in the air quality. Highly recommend.

Love it! Hands down Best Buy ever. The white noice keeps my 8yr old Yorkie calm, he has anxiety. So when I leave home with this unit on, he can’t hear me leave. Lol this unit clears any Odor with in 5 mins on high. My fianc hasn’t had allergy issues nor asthma issue since we started using it. Also, we live in a 2 bedroom apartment to give you an idea. I honestly did not believe this would work as well as it does, but I was desperate and I’m glad I did. Living an apartment, you never know what you are actually going to get, as far as smells. Or if the actually “changed the carpet” or wiped down the walls before they painted. My point is, mildew and other allergen are everywhere so this is a game changer for situations like ours. The price actually is worth it. Our electric bill has not changed which was a major concern because we leave it on 24/7.
I’m sold! When we become home owners this will be a top necessity.
Great Purification Device. The filters are expensive sitting at roughly about 35% of the value of the machine so having a handheld vacuum is recommended when purchasing this product.
It can be a little loud, but it works wonders in my basement for vaping. Filters aren’t cheap but last a year. I had a cheaper, smaller model previously and it didn’t work as well and used filters every 3 months. Having a timer is great. What I needed for a space bigger than one room.
I’ve had many air purifiers in the past that were ok or it didn’t do much. I was hesitant to buy this at first but I was not willing to pay thousands for an expensive one. I took a chance and purchased this do to the reviews. I’m glad I did! My kids and husband all suffer from really bad allergies indoors and outdoors and all have severe asma, so any bad air quality can really make it so bad that they all end up in the hospital all because of air quality in the home. I suffer from chronic severe sinusitis and I learned that if the air quality is not clear it just makes it worse. Air quality is very important, and this air purifier made all the difference in our home. They’re haven’t been any emergency room visits since using this and that says a lot in my life! I can breathe easier, the air quality is so good I mean every time someone comes over they say what a huge difference the smell of fresh air it is. Before it would always feel like the air was stuffy and congested, it felt like it was hard to breathe. I use this in the living room, my master bed room, and kids room, easy to move around not heavy at all. The noise isn’t bad at low setting you here nothing, high isn’t bothersome you do here it but it won’t disturb your sleep or anything. I can turn the light off at night so it doesn’t disturb anyone. Is of if you’d buy the really expensive one, for the money and value this is worth it. It has a timer and will turn off when you need it. I have no complaints. It takes out odor which is amazing, if I’m cooking I don’t need to worry about the smell of cooking or put candles out or sprays no more of that this takes care of it and it takes it out of the air. I already recommended this to my family and friends, and I plan on getting a second one in the future.
The Alen BreatheSmart FLEX seems to be earning its keep. I immediately noticed a marked improvement the minute I plugged it in. Set-up? None. Hit the power button, set the speed, easily set the timer, and you’re breathing better. It is whisper quiet on its slowest speed. It’s attractive, large (I like that), and extremely effective, this in an apartment that seems to have some mold issues. It’s new to me, and it’s on all day, every day. We’ll see if this monster can pull that airborne stuff out of the environment. I have high hopes. But no machine will fix everything. It’s a pain in the neck, but I probably need to spend some time having rugs and curtains cleaned, keep applying bleach, hydrogen peroxide, vinegar. I’m hopeful that Alen will do the rest. Recommended.
This is a quiet but powerful unit. Sleek in design and well worth the money. When you see the filter after some use, you realize how much crap is in the air that you CAN see. It seems pricey but after buying and trying a few other brands and models, this is simply the best.
A quality product with excellent customer service. Very friendly and knowledgeable when asking for advice. They speak loud and clear English. So nice to find that nowadays. I would highly recommend. Nice appearance in the room. And does a wonderful job.

Best item I purchased all year. It purifies the air in my entire condo in about two hours. It keeps the dust and dander to a tolerable level, and I have not had a sinus infection since I purchased this air purifier. I even recommended it to a friend who bought one and she is also happy with hers.

It’s does a great job flittering my 3000 sq ft home. It’s super quiet in the first speed and it’s louder at speed 4 but it filters the entire how in an hour. Great quality and value !!!!!
Had a bad wormy moldy smell in the finished basement that would occur every time it rained – the Alen removed that smell. To test, on some rainy days I’d leave it off and do a smell test, then turn it on and an hour later the smell was gone.
Another thing I have to mention: the PACKAGING.

This has definitely helped my allergies. We live in a rural area, on a farm and I have 4 rescue dogs and 2 cats. Indoors. I’ve been miserable. Not now. I can sleep through the night.
I am also a physician. These filters make a big difference.
Before this filter, I had a floor unit. I feel it was not in a good location. This is on top of a TV hutch which seems to distribute clean air better. Since there are a number a facades, it even matches the furniture in the room.
The power light can be dimmed which is essential to not light up the bedroom at night. It seems to be working. Without all kinds of scientific instruments, it’s just a perception. I know my allergic reactions are worse when I leave the house and especially when I drive my convertible with the top down!
Over a year later……….I definitely feel much better after sleeping with this filter on. I leave the bedroom, and the allergy symptoms start. I used to have them all night. I’ve even cheated by vacuuming the carbon filter and it’s still great. The sound level is low but just enough for a bit of “white sound. This is the best all-room filter I’ve ever had.
This air purifier was very recently purchased in anticipation of a guest who was coming to stay for a week who happens to be highly allergic to cats. Turns out I have a cat, so my hope was that this purifier would at least help with her asthma that would surely flare during her stay. No asthma, no sneezing, and she slept through the night every night. I know its expensive, but it is seemingly worth the price. She asked if she could take it home with her! It looks great and the settings allow for the illuminated lights to go out for those sensitive to night light and with a setting that is whisper quiet to ensure a quiet sleep. The ‘turbo’ setting is louder, so I leave that on all day while at work and truly notice a difference in the air quality upon my return. Nice product; I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.
We bought this about two weeks ago. So far, my son’s allergies are 95% better. His flare ups come OUTSIDE the home now! He off the charts allergic to dust mites. One night with this air filter and he noticed a difference. A couple days in, he woke up with zero symptoms of allergies.
The low setting is so, so quiet. It is audible at level two but quieter than our air guardian at level 1! Turbo speed is what we put it in when we leave the house for a long period of time because it is pretty loud.
We don’t have a remote control, and have not changed an air filter yet. But we love this thing so far!

I wanted something very quiet that didn’t look like a big plastic box, and this delivered on both counts. I let it run all the time on the lowest setting in a room that’s about 300sq. ft., and although I can barely hear it, the air in the room is markedly better.
I found via lab results that mold levels were detected in my home even though it was not visible, it was in the air and I suspected it due to the condition of the foundation of my home. I had been suffering from repeated upper respiratory and sinus infections resulting in having to take antibiotics 4 times last year. Since I have began running the Alen BreatheSmart Flex Air Purifier a month ago, my symptoms have declined significantly. I also work from my home in the area that the devices is running in and I don’t notice the noise level at all. A number of people have remarked about how quite it is and have become very interested in this product for themselves. I plan to have another mold test done in next month to compare the results scientifically. However, I can already feel the relief! In the region where I live there has been record amounts of rain which makes my situation worse. Prior to the Alen BreatheSmart, I would walk into my house and if I were on the phone, the person I was speaking with could tell immediately the change in my voice and the sneezing/congestion/foggy thinking would begin. I bought this for my dad. The seller keeps bugging me to review it so here goes. I’m not sure if it helps. In the beginning it did help decrease dad’s allergies. But on my visit yesterday his nose was running like crazy. Of course we don’t know if the cause is environmental or due to the meds he’s taking or foods—which I wouldn’t expect this to help. He thinks it’s helping so there you go.
well built, large and deep air filter with prefilter, on lowest setting it is super quiet and unnoticeable, turbo high setting clears a room fast but is a bit loud like your car AC on high setting. I love that the lights on it can be turned off for bedroom use at night. going to buy another one for our guest house. Our house is very noticable reduction of dust and dog hair.
If it is possible to love a machine, I do love this one. I was introduced to it when I visited a friend in another city. His cats usually make it impossible to breathe. That time, the air was cleared by the Alen Breathesmart. I bought one for my home and I notice a real difference in my breathing. I just bought a second when I gave the first to my kids. I think that’s the best endorsement possible.
I’ve been trying to figure out how to reduce my allergy-related snoring. After trying a variety of other products that were related to my nose, mouth or chin and having little success I decided to bite the bullet and try an air purifier. After researching lots of them I decided in the Alen Flex.
It is very easy to assemble, quiet and looks pretty nice as well. I turned it on high for the first day, and then experimented with the different speeds and times and I now leave it on 24 hrs a day in the second setting.
I’ve been using it for about 4 days now, and I can say that my snoring has reduced significantly (I monitor it with an app).
I was hesitant to spend the money, but I am glad I did. Changing the filter is so easy. I am considering another one for my living area as well, but want to see how it does over a longer period of time.
I set it up the night before and noticed a big difference the following morning. I am very sensitive to smell and have 3 dogs that are constantly bringing in dust. This air filter is a game changer. This purifier has been a God send! I kept getting sick because of mold in my office. I had a constant cough, sneezing, chest tighteness etc. while I do need medicine to help, I was able to reduce the amount of medication! The air in my office is fresher an others have commented on that too.
Ok…so it doesn’t have a clean air indicator, BUT:
My infant son no longer rubs his eyes, coughs, or sneezes in our apartment and I have only been running it for ONE day! Already worth every penny!
Also, others have mentioned a chemical odor and I have not gotten even the slightest hint of one from my unit. The only thing mine emits is fresh air!
The sound it makes even at the highest setting is a constant, soothing noise that’s perfect for sleeping.
I’ll let you know what I think in a week but after the first day I am so happy I invested in this.
We were ready to break our lease and move due to neighbors smoking and mold issues in the apartment. Bought this a few months ago and have had it running on medium high non-stop ever since. It cleans all of the mold, pet dander and smell out of my 500 sq foot downstairs. I just pop off the magnet front once a week and vacuum off the dog hair to keep the flow up.
I got the smaller Alen model for a bedroom and am not as happy with it’s performance. Definitely get this one for any room size and just run it at lower speed.
I love this air purifier. After suffering from severe sinusitis and not sleeping for days, I slept like a baby the first night I used it. As instructed, I turned it on to the highest setting for a couple hours to ramp up the air cleaning in my bedroom. I could “smell” the clear air. I am feeling so much better since bringing it into my home. I would highly recommend this product.
This is the best investment I’ve made in a very long time! I read a LOT of reviews, and this is the one I chose. I have problems with asthma and allergies and needed something large enough for my apartment that did not “break the bank”! The apartment is approximately 700 sft, and is old, with mold and nasty stuff in the air conditioning vents, along with the drip tray that has overflowed several times in the two years I’ve been there. I love the adjustment levels, depending on the humidity or temps in the apt. Also, there is an adjustment that allows you to turn off the “blue light” that everyone complains about interfering with their sleep. I have not used the timer, but it has one. Higher levels are noisier than low levels, but that is flexible, for more filtering during the day (noisy), the place is clear when I get home, I turn it down (quiet) for sleeping because the air is already cleared and doesn’t need the higher level. It’s pretty, too. I have it turned around with the front toward the wall, and it’s still attractive, and the air flows more freely. I’ve been able to cut down on both medications!
Amazing …….forget the cheap ones! Had it in one half of large condo overnight….when we opened the door the next morning there was a definite difference in the air quality! Clean and fresh where the filter was and musty in the other half. Immediately ordered a second one and we’ve both stopped being congested in the morning! Extremely well made.
If you live in a city you must find the $ to buy this. Our apt. was continually layered in dust, even minutes after cleaning. We blamed the nearby bridge. Why or why did we wait so long to buy this ( price, that’s why) but instead of coughing through the night and every morning cleaning my bedside table of heavy dust, after a couple days it’s all clear! What have we been breathing???as foodies who choose biological everything what were we thinking? THIS CHANGED OUR LIVES> Also extremely quiet, good looking, and takes little space. I have not had my air purifier too long, but as of now, it seems to be helping my husbands asthma and allergies. His coughing has lessened and his breathing better. We keep it on high when we are home and on low when we are gone.
In general, the BreatheSmart looks very nice and is easy to move from place to place.
It gives the room size to cover but it didn’t explain that in Order to cover a bigger size room you have to turn the speed to the max n it’s very loud that way, so the square footage to cover is base on the speed setting, really don’t see the difference, I put this in my bedroom n after dusting my computer glass desk in my bedroom the next day there’s dust again that need to be wipe. I live in a 680 sq ft condo n I have 2 more air purifier in the living rooms kitchen but of different brands . My place is next to a busy street that’s why I want all these air purifier in my place but it doesn’t make a difference dust still accumulates everyday
excellent !!! I brought two of them to China last winter and used one of them in a 4m x 5m room, outside air pollution PM2.5 over 400 and 250 in side of the room, about 20 minutes after turn on the machine, PM 2.5 goes down to 36, that’s means excellent air quality.
It is made in China and same price over there,they use 220v power 🙁
It was difficult to find a HEPA filter air purifier that looks clean and stylish, but this Alen product does the trick. Since I’ve purchased it, I have found my air quality (which is tracked through a separate product) and therefore allergies and sleep quality to be greatly improved — mostly in the categories of dust and chemicals. There are 4 settings — on setting 2 (the level I mostly use), the machine is barely audible and easily forgettable. Setting 3 sounds like white noise, but it can be a bit difficult to hear the television. 5 stars for this quality product! I am considering buying another one of these machines for the bedroom.

My life has changed tremendously by purchasing this air purifier. I can now breathe and stopped sneezing. You immediately notice a change to the air after having it on. Amazing product, very quiet and thoroughly purifies my air. I bought this product to use in my family room. I also have 4 dogs that mostly play in this area when everyone is on the lower level. The smell had gotten really bad in the mornings and I had to sweep the floors and dust quite often. Now smell is gone, dust level is very minimal and sneezing has subsided. It’s amazing. It’s been barely a week but I really love this product.
I should add that we’ve also changed the location of the doggy crates and bed which used to be in the family room. However the dogs still spend most of their time in the family room and everyone is happy
It works great and it’s so pretty. The only complaint about it is that I wish it has automatic function so whenever air turns bad it adjusts power mode itself.

The air feels cleaner and the purifier has also helped us combat the smoke seeping into our house vents from a neighbor’s heavy-smoke fires at their pit. It is quite pricey in comparison to others. However, I like the cover options (I purchased two) since it can also serve as a room decor. This was recommended by a friend who took care of a cystic fibrosis patient, claiming it made her life easier to live.
It’s quite and the house seems less dusty. I can not verify this but we’re dealing with COVID-19 in our house and it makes us feel hopeful it help keep the air cleaner.
I took off one star for this. Everyone is different and filter needs vary. I’m not sure why they would require this but it almost made me want to return the product as I don’t like auto purchases.

My husband is renting a small business space and this air purifier is the perfect size to help purify the air from Covid-19 in such a small space. It is also very quiet.
I’ve got no complaints. The first two fan settings are soundless (in my environment). I normally use the third fan speed, which does make sound, but not much and even kinda soothes my sleep. Instructions say the one filter must be replaced around every 8 months (pending usage and air quality), so maintenance is minimal. It has a feature that turns off all the console lights so they don’t light up your bedroom at night–REALLY liking that. And the thing looks pretty sharp too, which is yet another plus. I just can’t think of anything bad to say. Was an excellent buy.

I really suffer from allergies, almost year round. I had a small hepa filter that wasn’t doing the job I needed it to. I hesitated about spending so much on a larger one, especially given the fact that replacement filters are expensive and may be hard to find, but I’m glad I purchased it. The wood look unit looks great in our small, 580 sf home that features many bamboo walls. I believe it’s helping a lot and I’m happy with the noise level.

Was seeing a lot more dust in the house since the family is home more (as an added challenge we have Guinea Pigs). We had a smaller air purifier and had to upgrade. I can’t say is doing much more than our original Germguardian. The noise and light levels are more accommodating, however so consider how much space you need to control when purchasing.
Geez, I didn’t realize the air in our room wasn’t that clean until I ran this guy for a few hours! The air had such a light, crisp feel to it that quickly confirmed my need for this purchase. Our youngest has allergies, and always started reacting in our room as we have a bird in that area. After this ran, hes not once reacted. We have a Dyson and a Holmes in another room, but after seeing the quality and fast results (check the filter after a few days) of this one compared to those, we will be getting rid of the others and purchasing nothing but these. We’ve had ours for a few months already upon writing this review.

Love this air filter. It’s pretty quite and looks great next to my cherry wood floors! Got the rosewood option so it’s a perfect complement that doesn’t stand out like an ugly filter in the room. Very stylish. Light weight and slim. I looked at a ton of air filters so happy I chose this one even though it was a little more than I planned on spending.
I absolutely love this machine! I suffer from allergies and could no longe use a fan so circulate air and provide white noise. This solves both problems! It’s easy to use and vacuum the outer filter which I do about once per month with dogs. I believe the “auto” actually works and I was skeptical.

I live in a one hundred year old building converted into lofts. I have a big open space with one 1/2 wall, so it’s basically open @1,500 sq. ft. I have dust. I have allegories. Nothing has worked to relieve these issues until this arrived. The quality and ease of use great. It has plenty of adjustments/options for use, if needed. The only noise is when on highest level and then it’s not too load for me. Even the packing was quality!

Once I researched to understand how and what an air purifier was and discovered the Alen BreathSmart air purifier I knew it was the one to buy. The controls are easy to use, move it to other parts of the house with the handle to roll or pick up. Everything about the Alen BreathSmart is so easy, effective and the design is sleek to fit your decor. I purchased one for my son who has four dogs and a second smaller one for the master bedroom. Worth the purchase.
I’ve been using this for close to a month now. My neighbors smoke indoors and it seeps over into my place (multiple units in one building) and drives me nuts. With the purifier running on 2 or 3 fan speed I can clear the stink in a short time within a large room. Don’t be fooled by the lifetime warrantee, it’s contingent on you subscribing to Alen’s filter subscription which I didn’t want to do. Either way, it runs quiet, clears the room, and has worked reliably so I’m happy.
Easy box removal and simple to set up. I bought this for my finished basement and it does great job purifying the air. After 1 hr of running, I noticed a big improvement in the air quality. Highly recommend.

I had the smallest Levoit Air Filter before and it was so loud. This one works so much better and is almost silent. I love the sleep setting.

Love it! Hands down Best Buy ever. The white noice keeps my 8yr old Yorkie calm, he has anxiety. So when I leave home with this unit on, he can’t hear me leave. Lol this unit clears any Odor with in 5 mins on high. My fianc hasn’t had allergy issues nor asthma issue since we started using it. Also, we live in a 2 bedroom apartment to give you an idea. I honestly did not believe this would work as well as it does, but I was desperate and I’m glad I did. Living an apartment, you never know what you are actually going to get, as far as smells. Or if the actually “changed the carpet” or wiped down the walls before they painted. My point is, mildew and other allergen are everywhere so this is a game changer for situations like ours. The price actually is worth it. Our electric bill has not changed which was a major concern because we leave it on 24/7.

Great Purification Device. The filters are expensive sitting at roughly about 35% of the value of the machine so having a handheld vacuum is recommended when purchasing this product.
It can be a little loud, but it works wonders in my basement for vaping. Filters aren’t cheap but last a year. I had a cheaper, smaller model previously and it didn’t work as well and used filters every 3 months. Having a timer is great. What I needed for a space bigger than one room.

The Alen BreatheSmart FLEX seems to be earning its keep. I immediately noticed a marked improvement the minute I plugged it in. Set-up? None. Hit the power button, set the speed, easily set the timer, and you’re breathing better. It is whisper quiet on its slowest speed. It’s attractive, large (I like that), and extremely effective, this in an apartment that seems to have some mold issues. It’s new to me, and it’s on all day, every day. We’ll see if this monster can pull that airborne stuff out of the environment. I have high hopes. But no machine will fix everything. It’s a pain in the neck, but I probably need to spend some time having rugs and curtains cleaned, keep applying bleach, hydrogen peroxide, vinegar. I’m hopeful that Alen will do the rest. Recommended.
This is a quiet but powerful unit. Sleek in design and well worth the money. When you see the filter after some use, you realize how much crap is in the air that you CAN see. It seems pricey but after buying and trying a few other brands and models, this is simply the best.

Best item I purchased all year. It purifies the air in my entire condo in about two hours. It keeps the dust and dander to a tolerable level, and I have not had a sinus infection since I purchased this air purifier. I even recommended it to a friend who bought one and she is also happy with hers.
Once again, we counted on an Alen purifier to remedy odors and purify air in our families homes. We are using them in Massachusetts, Virginia and New Orleans to remedy mold/mildew and pet odors. I currently keep 2 running as we renovate an older home and unpack boxes from storage units . Alen purifiers truly make a difference in the air quality in my families’ homes.

I have woken up with a stuffy nose since I moved into our house, since I have turned this on in my bedroom it has all gone away.
I am also a physician. These filters make a big difference.
Before this filter, I had a floor unit. I feel it was not in a good location. This is on top of a TV hutch which seems to distribute clean air better. Since there are a number a facades, it even matches the furniture in the room.
The power light can be dimmed which is essential to not light up the bedroom at night. It seems to be working. Without all kinds of scientific instruments, it’s just a perception. I know my allergic reactions are worse when I leave the house and especially when I drive my convertible with the top down!
Over a year later……….I definitely feel much better after sleeping with this filter on. I leave the bedroom, and the allergy symptoms start. I used to have them all night. I’ve even cheated by vacuuming the carbon filter and it’s still great. The sound level is low but just enough for a bit of “white sound. This is the best all-room filter I’ve ever had.

The low setting is so, so quiet. It is audible at level two but quieter than our air guardian at level 1! Turbo speed is what we put it in when we leave the house for a long period of time because it is pretty loud.
We don’t have a remote control, and have not changed an air filter yet. But we love this thing so far!

I wanted something very quiet that didn’t look like a big plastic box, and this delivered on both counts. I let it run all the time on the lowest setting in a room that’s about 300sq. ft., and although I can barely hear it, the air in the room is markedly better.
I bought this for my dad. The seller keeps bugging me to review it so here goes. I’m not sure if it helps. In the beginning it did help decrease dad’s allergies. But on my visit yesterday his nose was running like crazy. Of course we don’t know if the cause is environmental or due to the meds he’s taking or foods—which I wouldn’t expect this to help. He thinks it’s helping so there you go.
