Steel Construction with Carpeted Floor
Reprogrammable Digital Access + 2 Override Keys
Equipped with an electronic lock, the AmazonBasics security safe offers quick set-up and easy operation. After installing four AA batteries (not included), reprogram the safe with your own unique passcode. To open the safe, enter your passcode using the key pad, then turn the knob clockwise to open the safe door. Two emergency override keys are included, which makes it possible to open the safe and access your valuables even if you forget your passcode or if the keypad batteries run out. The digital display has three different symbols to indicate locked, unlocked, and low battery. *Note: The safe is shipped locked. To open for the first time, use one of the two override keys provided.
2 Live-Door Bolts and Pry-Resistant Concealed Hinges
In addition to the electronic lock, the security safe features two live-door bolts, a pry-resistant steel door, and pry-resistant concealed hinges. These relevant design elements help prevent intruders from accessing the contents of the safe. A black exterior finish gives the safe a handsome look that will coordinate with any home or office setting.

It’s what I expected it to be but the battery box doesn’t secure and falls out every time I open it. Will probably have to tape it which is unfortunate for a brand new product.

Ho gi acquistato diverse di queste cassa forti da camera, io li uso per le camere del mio Hotel. Facili da istallare (io le metto dentro l’armadio) e da utilizzare.
There are many videos out there explaining how to get into this safe without a key or combination. I still got it because I will not be keeping in there the queen's crown, but just my passport and checkbook. I bought it because it serves the purpose of keeping safe some basic and important belongings.

simple utiliser et poser, sans doute peu rsistant l’effraction outille, mais permet de protger vos biens des gens qui ne font que passer chez vous (ouvriers de passage, femme de mnage, etc.).

je ne pense pas que cela vitera un vol mais plutt que des enfants jouent avec des choses qu’ils ne devraient pas.

When bolting this down, this is a perfect “closet” gun safe. It’s not going to withstand a determined thief with tools (that’s what the big safe is for) but for ready access to a home defense firearm or other valuables this is a great option. Very good quality for the money, and it’s from Amazon, not one of the no-name Chinese brands on here.
