Good chair, very comfortable but there needs to be a height adjuster.
My hubby is using the chair at captains table and finds his legs are restricted to go fully underneath because of the height of his chair.
This type of chair would be ideal with a smart table where the height of the table can be changed.
So far so good! This chair is still good after a year! I am happy with this purchase!

I had been looking for a new office/gaming chair, and after reading and watching many reviews, I finally settled on the Amazon brand Umi Ergonomic office chair and I’m pleased I did. After reading about other peoples reviews not all give information about height and weight of the person intending to use the chair but I find this useful; I’m 170cm, 75kg. I’m now a home office worker and can easily spend 10-12 hours a day sitting at my desk so the research was important. Only took 30 minutes to remove from box and assemble. I have been using the chair for a week and its very comfortable, sturdy, no creeks or squeaks. I was torn between 4 stars and 5 stars as I dont always trust some of the 5 stars reviews. I hope you trust my review and if you keep an eye out for discounts or tick box vouchers to get value for your money, then I hope it will be a 5 star chair for you.
Some people have commented about finding a pair of gloves inside the box. I found the gloves as well and think they are supposed to be there. I wore them and found them useful as the outside of the plastic bag with the bolts and washers in was “warehouse” grubby as was the underside of the silver metal coaster base.
This is a large chair that is very comfortable. Highly recommended.

Super easy to assemble, no need for help from another person through the process.
The main parts are metal which feel strong and solid.
So far the chair feels great, especially the LUMBAR support; I can’t help but worry if it will stay this way for long because it actually has “nets” instead of cushions for back and bottom support.
The arms are a little wobbly, however the rest of the chair is superb.
I have only had this chair a few weeks but I will give a review up to now…I was looking for a new chair on Amazon and found this on sale, Once again Amazon came up the goods…
This is a great chair for my home office. I am retired, so i dont ‘work from home’ and spend long periods sat down, but its a well made, quality chair for my office. I am 18st + so I was a little concerned over the pneumatic lift on the chair as previous cheaper chairs have failed after a few months. This feels very sturdy and can be adjusted very easily. Overall Very Comfortable and I’m happy with it.
If you are looking for an ergonomic office chair, You won’t go far wrong buying this .

This UMI chair is over twice the price but the difference in quality and support is way more than twice the investment. I used to have a top of the range ergonomic chair in my office at a previous job. It was some years ago, but I don’t remember it being any more comfortable or functional than this one. Absolutely worth the extra money and I won’t be having to throw it away after less than twelve months. This is a quality chair across the board.

I had in past chairs at low budget and learnt hard way that it’s something I shouldn’t compromise on. This chair is certainly a good quality product comes with lumbar support to avoid back pain!!’
The box arrived a lot earlier than expected, but I was kept up-to-date with courier information and the driver was extremely helpful in carrying the parcel into my hallway. Once opened and I started to remove the parts, I realised this was a very substantial chair!
Relatively easy to build on my own (it’s heavy!) I managed to get a fully functional chair with headrest from boxed parts in less than half an hour and although it looks a bit mean with the mesh (as opposed to cushioning) it’s actually really, really, comfortable!
The lumbar support is perfect for my lower back and the headrest has a neck curvature, so whilst encouraging you to sit correctly upright, it’s extremely comfy just to sit back and relax also!
The armrests are individually adjustable in height, and the gas lift chair can also be adjusted with a lever under the chair. This same lever can also lock the chair upright or allow for a more relaxed, slight recline.
A very sturdy, revolving chair and so pleased I bought it – all I need now is a foot rest to elevate my feet and I’m sorted! Lol
Anyway end of October now in 2021 and the chair is AMAZING, as a content creator of games, I sit in this chair about 10 hours per day ish. (sometimes longer sometimes less but I think thats about average).
My old chair gaming chair gave me back ache after about an hour this chair is comfy but will take some getting used to compared to gaming chairs.
My chair didn’t come with instructions but I will not reduce it from 5 stars because well its a chair it wasn’t hard to build but I did also leave the headrest off as I never use them anyway.
if and when this chair wears out or breaks I would get another without a doubt.
Amazing chair, just upgraded from a leather gaming chair. Really good support and high quality, really comfortable too. Will never go back to cheap chairs again after buying this
I’ve had this chair for a full day now and if anything changes I’ll update my review. The box was fairly heavy, it said over 15kg on the box but it was extremely large and unwieldy.
There were no instructions in the box but it was fairly straightforward once I figured out where the screws went but be aware there’s 3 different sizes of screw and multiple extras included. Everything was individually wrapped in plastic bags and cardboard. The piston to raise and lower the chair is really short though and it’s a bit lower than my previous chair even on maximum size.
The chair itself though feels well made and is extremely comfortable despite having no cushion on the base, which I was really dubious about but decided to try it based on Gamers Nexus YouTube reviews on desk chairs and seeing this was very similar to the Komene branded chair they recommended (which now lowered quality and charges 800 because of the popularity spike lol).
The chair isn’t perfect though. As I mentioned above it’s a bit short but this could be solved with a third party gas lift replacement for about 20 and its easy to do. The arms also twist which is meant to be a feature but there’s no lock so they twist when you don’t want them to based on friction from your arms.
So all these issues…. Why 4 stars? Well…. As a desk chair it’s really great. The lumbar support is amazing and it’s really comfortable. In terms of comfort the only negative I have is the tilt on the backrest goes in stages and it only allows you to hold it in specific spots which means you are either sat straight up or laid too far back to work at the desk. Great for back pain and posture, bad for slouching whilst working.
I needed a chair with back support, but was comfy with it. This chair definitely hits the mark. It’s perfect. Assembly certainly wasn’t easy, but got there in the end and it was worth it.
I purchased this chair for home office to replace a chair that was giving back pain and fatigue.
This chair from UMI is very comfortable and supportive for use whilst working from home. I am sitting in it for 10-12 hours a day and so far (day 4) I have had no back pain or fatigue due to bad posture.
I am very happy with quality. Assembly was very straight forward and instructions simple enough. Anyone with basic diy skills can assemble this. Involves installation of set screws and washers using tool provided.
Overall very satisfied.

The chair is very comfortable. Supports the lumbar. The mesh is very comfortable to sit on for a long time. I have been using the chair for about 3 months and I really like it.
I got this chair to replace another chair I bought here which had gone a bit wonky due to a crap hydraulic cylinder, which the company wouldn’t replace. This chair is very comfortable, supportive on the lumber region and breathable mesh. Very comfortable for long days in front of a screen. It’s pricey but you get what you pay for. Have had it 2 months with no complaints. Also the fact that it’s an Amazon product is reassuring as you know they will accommodate you if anything goes wrong unlike other cowboy sellers.
The chair is very nice, with good waist and arm support. It is very suitable for use as a computer chair. The quality is very good. It is exactly the same as the seller’s description. I am very satisfied.

Overall this is a comfortable and practical chair. It has one minor shortcoming in that the lumbar support doesn’t have quite the range of adjustment that I had hoped for – I have had to resort to using a small cushion to give my back the relief that is required from using the chair for a long period.
I removed one star because it’s too soon to say anything, But up untill now this chair has been a blessing!!

I put this together myself with no problem and find it very comfortable.
Easy to assemble and very comfortable at a good price.
