touch controller grip cover

The Touch Controller Grip cover completely solves the problem of accidentally throwing your controllers into the room, and also provides a better protection for your controllers.

The texture design of the touch controller grip cover can increase the friction force and provide better grip for the hand, and the texture helps the air flow to easily drain the sweat from your hand, which is non-slip, durable, and comfortable to enhance your game enjoyment.

If you own oculus touch controllers, get these. They make your controller more comfortable to hold, you can be more delicate with how you hold them, less hand cramps in stuff like beat saber, plus putting them on while wearing your headset is far easier.

It really changes the overall experience of using VR.
Before the controllers would always fall or slip off of my hands and now it’s sold.

Easy and quick improvement for the controllers without spending loads on the Valve Index gear.

It keeps your controllers secure but it’s a hassle when you need to remove or change the batteries because you need to remove it all. It’s also very fiddly to fit.

There are cheaper alternatives around, but these came highly recommended. imo they’re really overpriced for such a simple product.

If you’re very vigorous during your VR sessions than I would recommend these (the price of new controllers is way worse) otherwise, I would go for cheaper alternatives.

All accessories for VR are expensive (a lot of them very disproportionately to their quality) but this product is actually feels solid and for once I dont regret getting something on the more expensive side (at least I will not have to return it). I like that I received extra 2 spare rubber bands in case original snap (although for 25 GBP this is expected tbh).
My complaints: after few longer sessions on the Beat Sabre I start to see one band already loosing its integrity (see photo).
The material seems good, the time will tell – right now it does not feel like cheap stuff. There is sill room for some minor improvements, e.g. for people with longer fingers rigid plastic grip holder should move a little more around the remote holder. Also the price is still bit off on the expensive side.

Pricey but better quality than others

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersMuch better than just the stock straps provided with the Quest. Easy to fit onto the controllers and actually help with the problem of the battery covers sliding off of the controllers during use. They allow for a more natural way of holding the controller too; allowing the user to release their grip on the handle while still having the controller ‘attached’ to the hand via the slightly stretchy strap. This strap is rather long initially but comes with instructions on how to properly shorten in to the desired length.
They do elongate the controller somewhat, which can be a problem when trying to get these to fit in the official oculus case. They will fit but one of the grips must be slid down the handle of the controller to allow them to be interlocked properly.

Value for money is great, comes with a lens protector for your quest/rift s/etc. Haven’t tested in game yet but I’m pretty sure these aren’t gonna fly off my controllers. My only complaint is one of the straps seemed a little more stretched out than the others so one has to be tightened more than the other. Other than that I don’t know of I just have big hands or what but the position on my hand with the straps makes it a bit tedious to use the analog stick.

Minor complaints though, this will work wonderfully for you in beat saber or any other higher physical activity type game, wouldn’t recommend it for games like Pavlov or BONEWORKS unless it fits your hand correctly.

These are a little expensive for what you get in my opinion and could do with some tweeking.

However, I would 100% recommend these. The feeling that I was going to drop the controllers was a constant distraction during very active games like beat sabre. That has completely gone now and my scores have improved. The quality is also top notch. Some of the veaper ones just don’t cut it – and they are not that cheap. Just get these first time round.

I originally bought some silicone grips when that was all that was available but these are a lot better for playing beat saber the straps that go over the back of the hands really reduces hand fatigue.

I can play beat saber for a long time now before my hands hurt, so been using these grips for ages and they are good but now playing expert+ on beat saber and noticing tracking issues and realised it is in part to do with the Velcro strap. Fortunately I have found an alternative way to secure the grips to avoid this.

I am also now using these on quest 2 and they work fine.

I have been in communication with the seller and they seem very nice and where happy to listen to my concerns I had about tracking. Hopefully an alternative fastener can be found for attaching the grip to the light ring but unless you are playing beat saber at a high level you will probably have no issues.

I’d say these are great they make the quest controllers so much more holdable and comfortable to hold. You feel secure that even if you let go once you hand is in the grips that you aren’t going to drop the controllers.

Wasn’t sure if these would be my cup of tea and felt the original touch controllers were fine. Put these on and instantly changed my mind. Took a little while to get use to the new position of the controller as the strap will adjust the feel of the controller more to a cylinder grip similar to holding a pistol. Once i got use to it, it added a new freedom in game and my shooting accuracy increased.

Also the controllers do still fit into original case but will not both sit in the original position so bare that in mind.

Thought i may have over paid here vut they are certainly comfortable and i am now less worried about my controller flying out if my hand so they definitely ely add peace of mind.

I have been playing through Superhot VR and often requires you to throw something at an assailant, but I would always miss, having to throw under or over arm, couldn’t throw straight as the controllers would have flown out of my hand!
This changes things, I can safely throw things in VR, hurahh!

Only thing worth noting is that the grips increase the overall size of the controller, so if you have small hands or the size is right for you on the rift controlllers as normal, you may not like the additional girth.

The extras are fine, not used the nose bridge but it would be worth it for the anti throw handles alone so the extras are a little bonus as that is really why you are looking at this.

Easy enough to install, instructions are a little confusing but just look at the picture on the box and you can work it out. I have not had to change the batteries on the controllers yet, but can see it would take a little longer now but that does not outweigh the positives.

Bought these grips a few weeks ago and I have to say, I’m very impressed! My hands still sweat but not as much as without them but I bought them for peace of mind so that I don’t throw the controllers playing Echo VR! They work great! Hopefully they hold up.

The best way to use the controllers imo. They’re easy to just slide on and off of your hands and if you have larger hands then they’ll even make the controllers more comfortable. Only thing is they could probably be a bit cheaper and the included nose piece to block out the light doesn’t fit the quest.

Bought some straps on eBay for less but they were useless and impossible to fix. These were put together in 10 mins and look good and they give you a spare set of white straps. (Another set of blue/red would have been good rather than white). Also if they had put L/R on the strap would have been beneficial as well as I believe red is left and blue is right on beat saber. Also not sure if it was just mine but looks like red / left strap was printed the wrong way round as it’s upside down when looking at it (minor issue). The nose cover also works well, if a little tricky to fit. The lens cover I’m not sure about , not sure if it’s me but doesn’t seem to fit particularly well.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI’m really happy with these:

    Pros:
    – fairly easy to install, the instructions could be a bit better, but it’s really not complicated. There will be a little gap at the bottom, dont try to shove it in any more.
    – because of the gap at the bottom, it makes the handle a bit longer which i find perfect
    – the way the elastic grips the back of your hand, your hand naturally wants to curl around the controller, making it sit very well on your hand. If you try hard, you’ll obviously manage to fling this into the TV, but assuming you have a sense of awareness with these on, i think it’s enough. You can also still keep the original straps as well for added protection if you need it.
    – the grips feel very comfortable and get rid of the issue with the battery door sliding off.
    – they come with a lot of extra accessories, which is very nice to see.

    Cons:
    – none, i cant think of any way to make them better.

The only con I have is that I have to remove the grip to replace batteries!

    Other than that…

I thought the velcro straps would block the IR lights on the ring of the Touch Controller, but nope! Nice and snug (picture below).

Games like Beat Saber feels a lot better to play with these grips on than the standalone controllers, no slippery-ness!

I like how the wrist strap that comes with the Touch Controller is still usable, and while not as good as the elastic ones provided with the grips, still more protection if your hands manage to slip thru the elastic.

I also like how they include two of everything, so if you made a mistake or you cut a cord too short you have more, or for the other set of touch controllers you own.

They also provide nose and lens cover, but I don’t think I’ll be using those, but it’s great to know I have them incase I do need them.

    Great product!

    Fantastic Grips!

Excellent grips for the Quest touch controllers. I bought a Quest primarily for games like Beat Saber and BoxVR to try to get fit and have fun. These grips are absolutely perfect for that. They’re moulded to the shape of your hand, have a “grippy” texture on the palm and the elastic is really easy to tighten securely. The grip is so good with these, it really wouldn’t matter if you let go completely; they’re not coming off!

I like these, they add some girth to the controllers making them easier to hold and they also help me identify which is left and right easily because of the different colours.

They do make it tricky to change batteries but how often does that happen? I do think they are expensive but they seem to be the best option on Amazon.

  23. Mark Steyn National Review says:

EDIT: Still work and fit well, but the rubber on the inside of the straps has started to come off.

Grips arrived quicker than expected and once installed are great and do the job as expected. The straps can be easily adjusted and we actually got 4 straps (2 white, 1 red and 1 blue). I think these are different sizes? Or to differentiate between L and R? Not sure but handy to have spares!

I didn’t find the instructions to put them together very easy to follow, the pictures aren’t clear and there’s instructions for various different controllers. We have an Oculus Quest so it was as simple as pushing a spring into place, feeding the strap through the spring, and then using a Velcro band to attach the other end to the controller, but the instructions made it look a lot more confusing.

I’ve only been using them for a week so far so I can’t comment on durability yet. Fingers crossed.

    Worth the money, would recommend!

I love my Quest as a platform but out of the box, it definitely requires a few upgrades. In my opinion, if you’re just starting out you should address these in the following order:-

1 – New face mask (either silicone or leather)
2 – New head strap (to balance the front weight and reduce pressure on back of the head)
3 – These AMVR controller grips

I actually don’t mind how the touch controllers feel by themselves but the added grip here does make them more satisfying to hold in shooting games. The main benefit though is undoubtedly the strap which enables you to fully open your palm without dropping the controller. This adds a very satisfying layer of immersion for any games where you’re picking things up and dropping them (a lot of VR games!).

They’re pretty quick to install and the build quality is decent. They’re easy to adjust whilst holding, although I recommend tucking the original controller straps to the top of the controller to stop them getting in the way. The second set of included adjusters are worth putting on to keep them tight too.

This set comes with alternate colours for the straps which wasn’t necessary but a nice bonus. The deal is sweetened further with a lens cover and nose piece for the headset itself.

Overall then I’m very happy with these. They might seem a bit expensive but you won’t feel cheated when they arrive. I don’t think it should be your first or even second accessory, but it’s definitely an upgrade worth getting.

Used with Rift S. Games played were Gorn, BoxVR, Fallout 4 VR , among others. Night and day difference between using these and not. The fact that it allows you to relax your hands and not think about holding is a little thing with a huge impact. Only thing that is a little annoying is that to maintain a firm grip on your knuckles you have to occasionally tighten the the straps. Havn’t tried any of the alternatives, so maybe there is something better out there, but for the money I am very happy with the purchase. I was especially pleased to see that one of the bigger advantages people talk about between buying a rift S and a Valve index are the knuckle controllers. So for 25$ you can have on the rift S one of the selling points for a headset that is 600$ more. Pretty good value all things considered.

    Pros:
    – Adjustable ( big/small hands no problem )
    – Very well made
    – Spare bands / parts
    – Comfortable ( perfect fit )
    – Battery cover no longer slides off while in use

    Cons
    – A little pricey

Solid product. I have larger hands so the grips help the tiny touch controllers fit better in my hands. The knuckle straps work great in games that require you to throw things. The packaging was nice and it came with some extra straps and goodies but I would prefer to give that up for a lower cost.

  32. SamanthaRenard says:

Edit: After three weeks the straps are already falling apart, the grippy rubbery part is coming off, also the clips aren’t strong enough to hold the straps and it gets loose while playing even with the extra clips, so the straps and clips definitely need some work, it would be nice to have more durable rubbery type straps and stronger clips, I wouldn’t mind buying them separately.

These are SO good, I previously used another touch controller grip from another company and they were poorly built and uncomfortable, hesitated to buy these but ended up taking the plunge and I do not regret it, I play Beat Saber competitively and needed something that would prevent the controllers from slipping when doing big and fast swings and also not force my hands in a weird and uncomfortable angle, I’m extremely satisfied, thank you for making these!

Golden Review Award: 24 From Our UsersAt first I was on the fence about purchasing this kit as it does cost quite a bit of money for what it is, which is a couple of bit of plastic with a few straps. I needn’t of worried though as they are so worth it. Just having the ability to strap the touch controller to my hand has improved my enjoyment of games 10 fold. I no longer have to worry about dropping the controller and have it swing from my wrist whilst I try to grab it again. BoxVR and Beat Saber are so much more fun with this, I can literally let go of the controller to allow my hand to cool down in between stages then grip it again and off I go. I’d not be able to go back to not having this, Oculus should implement these knuckle straps as standard, but they don’t so thankfully AMVR stepped up and gave us this great kit! Buy it, you’ll not regret it.

I bought the kiwi knuckle straps, I thought these amvr straps were kind of gimmicky and over priced. After one week, the kiwi straps were un-useable, and I was left with a thirst for knuckle straps. So far, I really wish I had just spent the extra money to buy these. Not only do you get the beefy controller grip, with extremely comfortable knuckle straps, but it also comes with a nose gasket to block outside light, and a lens cover. If you play your quest often, just buy these. You wont regret it.

Great add-on for the Oculus quest controllers which are easy to set up and install. It makes playing feel a lot more supported, especially with games like Beat Saber where you’re flinging your arms around.

It does make changing the batteries a longer process, however as it stops the battery cover from slipping off during gameplay it’s a worth while trade off.

You’ll also have to remove at least one of the covers if you want to get them in the official quest carry case.

These are pretty solid. I don’t know how you could do this any better. The grips are nice. I like the way they feel. They keep my hands cool and allow good airflow. The straps stay nice and snug. I do notice the grib slips a little (slips off) when I first put it on. In a day it’ll gain nice friction and doesn’t move at all. (Yes it has the velcro at the top to hold it on, but it still has a very slight movement; but again, it goes away). The lens cover and nose leak piece is a nice throw in as well (if you need these). I would definitely recommend buying these and believe a knuckle strap is a requirements for playing (still use the wrist straps!).

These grips are super comfortable and easy to install. Very adjustable and you can still use the wrist straps just in case those less experienced people are playing.

Wearing these is awesome, you can take every finger off the controller and it still be right there safe in your hand. Before you would have to keep at least your bottom two fingers always holding the controller. This allows so much more freedom you never knew you even wanted. This is the poor man’s valve index right here.

Once you get them adjusted you really don’t have to fiddle with them much, just slip your hand in and you’re off. I don’t use the wrist straps anymore but I still put them on the kids. I never had the issue with the battery covers coming off but this solves that issue, but makes it so you have to take them off every time you need to change the batteries. Get some good rechargeables and you’ll be set.

Very nice upgrade. More freedom than you realize

  55. Anonymous says:

     United Kingdom

Getting the straps adjusted and clamped in place was a bit awkward, had to feed each strap back through the clamps so they wouldn’t slide, but once that’s done you don’t need to touch it again. Only other issue is that it makes changing the batteries difficult, but a few extra minutes every few weeks isn’t bad at all for the difference they make.

It’s just great being able to let go of the controllers and have them stay in your hand, takes a lot of strain off your fingers. I’m also no longer concerned about damaging the controllers with sweat, but that was probably an irrational fear in the first place.

I’ve left the original wrist straps on, there’s a hole in the bottom that you can feed them through. Helps me know for certain that they’re not going to fly off and smash into something expensive.

Update: After I’ve had it for 3 months, the strip on the inside of the strap started to peel off. It doesn’t grip as well anymore, and I’m slightly more concerned about them flying off than I was when I wrote this. Tightening them up has helped, at least.

Grips are a nice fit and feel comfy in the hands, and stops battery cover sliding when playing games like beatsaber… but the strap feels as if in wrong place as sits above knuckles if want to keep controller in right place, that may be just how use to holding without.

The lenses dust cover is a good idea, but doesn’t have quite the covering effect I thought it would, there are still some gaps when sat over the top of the lenses.

Other than that it a great Purchase.

Excellent hand grip, does it job very well. My only problem is that my hands are one the bigger side of the spectrum and even the largest setting is small. It’s pushing the controller back in my palms so far, some of the buttons became uncomfortable to reach.

I really like the rubber grips that go around the handle. I find the knuckle grips a little less comfortable. I may consider keeping the rubber handle grips but removing the knuckle grips. The handle grips make the controllers feel larger / firmer in the hand and they keep the battery door from sliding off. The knuckle grips don’t quite align over my knuckles and I find them somewhat uncomfortable. Otherwise, these are high quality. I like that they provide a few extra accessories in the box (extra set of knuckle grips). I have big hands so hopefully these will fit your knuckles better than mine.

Once these are fitted on the controllers you will NOT be able to put them in the travel case as the spring loader sticks out too far and prevents you from “inserting” the controllers together.

I’ve used the grips for a good 15 hours of beat saber since I’ve got them and I’m going to continue using them. Pretty easy to install and retains the ability to keep the standard wrist straps on the controllers for some extra insurance. The package comes w/ a little nose piece that you can use if you want to block out the air gap where the nose area on the headset is as well as a lens cover and 4 grip ribbons. The ribbons come in a pair of white, and one red and blue.

Warning to those who use a quest case where the controllers need to nest within each other’s rings. It is possible to do that with these grips but its a SUPER tight fit and could potentially cause some scratching on the inside of the tracking rings so do so at your own risk.

These have made the touch controllers way better and immersive for games. With these, you can actually throw objects by truely letting go of the controller and not have it fly out of your hand. The straps have some kind of semi-sticky surface so it grips the back of your hand and doesn’t slip at all. The knuckle covers do not have this and I found that they can slip from time to time. The only thing I’d like to see improved is maybe just a little groove where the grip button is because these don’t necessarily push all the way in. You have to watch out for how close you get to the grip button or else it’ll rub up against it.

These are great! They make it much easier to use the controller instead of looping the strap over your wrists. My wife and kids all like these covers and they easily adjust to fit everyone’s hands. A bonus feature of these covers is they keep the battery cover from accidentally coming off. This happened to me a few times before getting the covers.

The only downside of these covers is it takes a little longer to change the batteries because the covers need to be removed, but after doing it a few times it isn’t an issue. It was a little confusing installing the covers when I first got them because I didn’t find the instructions that easy to understand.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersAfter spending a weekend playing with the Valve Index knuckle controllers, my Oculus controllers seemed so tiny hard hard to keep in my hands. I felt the urge to let go of the controllers, so good thing I always use the wrist straps! I bought these controller covers, and absolutely love them! The Oculus controllers no longer feel too small, and I can play any games with confidence that I won’t drop the controllers. The straps that go along the back of your hand have a silicone (?) strip on them which also helps to keep the controllers in place without having to overly tighten the straps. The spring loaded adjustments are great too (although I have to admit the adjustments on the Valve Index are still better).

    Just a couple of things:
1.) It is possible to push the covers up too far on the controllers, which might jam up the “middle finger” button on the sides of the controllers. I noticed this when I was putting the covers on for the first time, but backed them off a bit and everything is fine. The covers don’t slide up or down on their own, so no problem.

2.) The covers do add a bit of bulk. I bought a carrying/storage case for my Quest, which has “fitted” pockets where the controllers are supposed to go, nestled together. these grips add too much bulk for the controllers to fit perfectly into those holes, but I am still able to fit them into the space. Depending on your level of OCD, and if you bought a similar storage case, this might be an issue.

3.) Swapping out the batteries in the controllers takes a bit more effort because you have to undo and remove the covers, change the batteries, then put everything back together. Lucky for me, the batteries seem to last quite a long time, so this hasn’t been a huge issue.

Overall, I highly recommend these grip covers!

    Excellent accessory.
Bought a set of Kiwi straps first but they were terrible and saw these on YouTube, ordered them for Christmas and they are excellent.
They fit really well and are great quality, makes a huge difference to how the controllers feel and alot easier to play games.
The straps for securely and are easily adjusted for the perfect fit.
I would highly recommend these to anyone with a oculus rift or quest.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersNice adjustable grips, but it can feel awkward depending on the activity you are doing.
VR Games overall – It’s a nice addition, but if the VR game doesn’t involve agile or quick movements, it can be more cumbersome for when you want to deal with itches while playing
Beat Saber – If you don’t like the different ways you can grip the controller, this can do the trick

This makes your controller much more usable. You can have an open hand while still holding your controller. Having quality materials and relatively simple instructions, you can more easily grasp your controller while enjoying VR. A must have.

Great quality product. Helps to fit larger hands and keeps the magnetic battery cover on. The straps holding to the hand have rubberised grip which makes them feel secure. The Velcro strap holding the covers to the controller keep them on safely but are easy enough to remove should you need to change batteries. No buttons are blocked and instructions are clear and quick to follow. Bought a second set for my buddy’s Quest because these are perfect.

If you are fed up of your touch controllers slipping when your palms get clammy, the magnet battery door slipping during intensive set pieces and you feel the controllers were made for child size hands, then this is the mod for you! This product takes care of all of the above and does it brilliantly. I have big hands that get clammy during superhot and they would cause me to stop playing after an hour. This mod provides a larger and more comfortable solution to playing and the extra hand grip on the controllers you get is two fold from the actual plastic grips and the silicone tape on the straps. It’s easy to install and I honestly can’t fault this product at all. I personally don’t bother attaching the extra safety strap around the controller, due to the grip cover being wedged so tightly to the bottom of the controller. 100% recommended and I received the item the next working day after purchase.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersBrilliant!
These give a more immeraive feel when in vr as you can let go of the controllers all together and grip them again when necessary, similar to that of the valve index.
The material seems well made and they hold the controllers well.
Battery access is slightly more difficult as the whole thing needs to be removed from the controllers. The offset of that though is that the battery cover is held firmly in place which has been an issue in the past with games like beat sabre etc.
Not only does it comes with the basics that you need, but also spare straps and buckles which I thought was a generous touch
    I’d 100% recommend this produc

I’ve been meaning to get the Mamut grips, but with shipping, it would’ve cost a good $45CAD or more. I was glad to find these as an alternative! The strap and clip design has more grip and is more adjustable than the Mamut. It’s also easier to remove for battery changes. Just need to undo the velcro strap on the ring to release the grip.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersShipping was fast and it’s fairly comfortable to use. I (unfairly) expected it to be super comfortable and intuitive to use right out of the box but in reality, it did take some time to get used to. I personally find it most comfortable when I have the strap running from my index knuckle to about the center of my hand, mostly gripping the controller with my fingers rather than my entire hand. This will likely be different for everyone. It definitely solved my sweaty hands problem so that’s a huge plus for me. The last thing is, don’t expect there to be zero wobble when you completely let go of your controller throwing objects in VR. Throwing overhand still feels like the grip is going to fly off, but throwing underhand feels secure so I’ll likely be doing that from now on. Overall, very good grip, would recommend.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersLet me start off by saying that I’ve been using the Mamut Grips (similar style grips) since I got my quest a few months ago. And I enjoyed them a lot. HOWEVER, since I have tried these AMVR Grips out, the Mamut Grips aren’t that good anymore. You compromised a little comfort with the Mamut Grips. They also had these shoelace style that wrapped around your hand. Now the AMVR Grips are much more comfortable in the hand. And the elastic band instead of shoelaces is a big improvement too. Much more comfortable and easier to adjust. You only have one thing to pull to adjust it and you can do it fairly quickly. The Mamut Grips have the 2 laces. So you have to either grip both laces very firmly with a controller in your hand (which wasn’t easy), or pull one lace at a time until it was right enough. Anyway, these grips were super simple to install and are a great quest accessory. These are now permanently part of my Quest setup. Definitely give these a try!

These grips are a must for all Rift S and Quest users. I have tried silicon ones in the past and they were ok but these are exactly what is needed. I chose to feed the wrist strap through the bottom part for added security.

These are a firm strong build and the added length to the grip feel just right. I like the fact they have 3 hand size holes so can be used by myself, my wife and also my children without the fear of coming off. I also like they added 4 straps 2 black and white and 1 red and 1 blue. this is good for beat saber to match the colour of the sabers in each hand. They are simple enough to put together maybe a little fiddly at first but no issue once i got everything the right way around.

My only issue is as with other reviews the fact I have to fully take off to reinsert a new battery. but a minor hurdle for a massive comfort upgrade.

Been using these grips for nearly a month now. Once you put em on you almost entirely forget they’re there…

Perfect for immersion, let’s you be a lot more forceful with any throwing motions and let’s you feel more immersed in games where hands are typically shown as open palm when in a neutral state.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersThis product is great! It is a cheaper alternative to the more expensive one that, in my opinion, is as good as!
So what is it good for:
    – It helps with grip of the controller.
    – It “sticks” to your hand, so you don’t have to be holding the controller all the time.
    – It’s easier to “wear”.
    – It solves the problem of the battery lid slipping unintendedly since it covers it.
    – It comes with the lens protector for when you are putting your Rift away.
    – It comes with the light blocker to fit at the nose. I don’t use it, but it works.

What it is not that good:
    – To swap the battery you’ll have some work to do. You will have to remove it completely, so it takes some time to remove it, then put it back. You will get the gist of it soon, but it is somewhat annoying anyway.
    – Sometimes the “alignment” of the strap on the back of your hand can be somewhat discomforting, but you will also learn how to adjust it better after some time using it.

    That’s it!

I really recommend it to every Rift S and Quest user. The standard straps that come with them is really not good. You should REMOVE them and use these instead!

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI bought these based on the recommendation of a few people in an Oculus Facebook group I’m in, and I’m glad I did. I find these to be a huge improvement for the Rift S controllers I have.

Fitting these was a very simple matter of removing the battery cover to remove the existing wrist strap, fitting the coloured strap of your choice (red, blue or white) to the grips and then fitting the grip over the controller handle. This is then secured in place with a small velcro strap which secures around the controller sensor ring.

During use I find these grips excellent to use. The textured grip feels more secure in my hands and picking up the controllers is far easier now as opposed to messing with wrist straps. And of course you don’t have to be constantly gripping the controllers. The strap keeps these securely in place against your palms.

My only minor moan is that when the batteries need to be changed in the controllers you need to completely remove the grips again to access the battery compartment. It just takes extra time to swap batteries out in the heat of blasting Zombies! But this would be the case for any third party grip.

In any case I love these grips and have used them ever since I bought them!

    Perfect Grip

These grips are excellent!! They are comfortable and very easy to install. It took me less than 2 mins to get both grips onto the controllers. The product comes with instructions if required.

The grips make the ergonomic shape of the quest controllers an upgrade. It feels so much better playing games like Beat Saber without feeling like the controllers will slip.

These AMVR grips are also excellent value for money as they are much cheaper than the Mamut grips and you get additional accessories.

    I would rate these 9/10.

They came fast, were easy to install. If you have bigger hands and find the touch controllers small and maybe even slippery (after playing intense games like beat saber) or even experience the battery cover slipping once in a while, then you need these grips! You can even relax your hands since the straps keep them on your hands. I highly recommend this product. 10 stars
