Looked at a number of these garden lights before setting on these. For me, the fact they had a higher IP rating (for weather proofing) and the design of the eyelets which reduces the risk of them being buffered by the wind sold it in. They are also low energy at 1w per bulb yet provide adequate lighting under my gazebo. At full price (over 100) they would be too expensive to justify but they were reduced with a further 10% discount which still made them one of the most expensive string lights on this platform. The product was delivered suitably packaged and all in working order although you will need to allow yourself at least half an hour to untangle the cable before plugging in. Time will tell if they last!

These are well made lights I’ve not put them up yet because it’s rained for days and I would like to install them in the dry . But I’ve tested them and I am very happy with the amount of light and the build quality I will definitely buy these again.

These lights arrived, dumped in a box with no packageing or protection so i was surprised when on plugging them in they all lit up brilliantly!.

I have to say it must speak to the quality of the product that they can survive transit in this condition and still all be in tact at the end of the journey.
I have no qualms recommending these.
They come equipped with a regular uk plug with a decent amount of lead before you hit the first bulbs so 5 stars all round!

They arrived.. packaged (just) and did get here on time.

We have been looking for a set of lights for the garden which we could keep up all year round. We usually have solar lights in the summer, but they never seem to last more than 12 months. We were now looking to get some for Christmas too, which wouldn’t look out of place if we left them up all year long. These lights were perfect for that, and the large festoon bulbs looked great. When the lights arrived, I unboxed them, and unfortunately they were completely knotted. I spent a good twenty minutes untangling them as they had simply been thrown into the box, and were badly tangled. When I eventually got them free from one another, they were lovely looking lights. The bulbs are effective and you wouldn’t tell that they are plastic. I plugged them in and was dazzled by the brightness of them. I didn’t know how far they would stretch, but I hoped to run them down the length of my garden fence. I managed to do that plus two bushes and two sheds, so these are more than long enough. They are worth every penny of the price tag, and they look stunning when lit. My only other gripe was that the length of the cable between the plug and the first bulb was very short, so I would have preferred more space. Overall though, these are brilliant lights, and I am now considering looking into getting another set for the other side of the garden, as you are able to connect another set of lights to the existing ones by removing a cap on the end of the cable which is a great idea. I highly recommend them. 5*
