Car camera lovely quality my husband was very happy with this product works very well I’ll recommend
Easy to install and is well hidden when put in properly..
Menu is simple to follow once you get it into your own language.
The rear camera bracket does not have enough range of movement to mount on the inside of the rear glass, this meant a lot of panel removing to mount external and feed through boot lid.
Lead to rear camera could do to be slightly longer, maybe 50cm. On my Saab 9-3 estate there was only just enough length after hiding the cable through the car, a little longer would have made the job neater and given a better routing.
If you are too quick with the menu buttons the system freezes and you need to power cycle to reset.
The wifi cannot be set to come on when the unit powers up, this may be a power saving option, but I have hard wired mine and would have liked the wifi without having to turn it on if there was a power cycle.
Overall an excellent product, missing out on full marks for the very minor issues listed.
I cannot get the app to work despite the phone recognising the cam’s ID code and confirming it’s connection when the Wifi is switched on. Can anyone help?
it’s a brilliant dash cam . Easy to set up and very neat up against the windscreen. Both front and rear cameras are brilliant.
The support from the supplier is brilliant, prompt and precise.

Hard wiring was also a time consuming mystery. I used exactly the same fuse outlet that my previous dashcam was in, but it would not provide a voltage. The hardwire kit (not supplied as standard) had spaces for two fuses, but they only supplied one….as an afterthought I put in another fuse (now with 2) and it worked…..?.. I have it fitted to only work with engine running and it switches on, gets gps quickly, but can’t yet confirm the accuracy. And appears to have charged the internal battery (red led out), but the battery charging icon on the screen continues to flash. Can’t see where you can adjust this. Hard wired rear cam through the headlining and it all looks need, but can’t really see the screen due to the angle of the windscreen…..so rear cam for reversing is a bit of an overstatement really. Cable was around a mt longer than I needed for internal fixing to my Touareg, gives you an idea that it will fit most cars.
Overall pleased with the initial views in the tiny screen, and the same on my iphone, but not downloaded any yet, or used it for driving
Conclusion that I’ll need to constantly refer to the instructions to use it to its full. Will update review in the future
You get a little card in the box to extend the guarantee by 6 months, and offering free gifts, that seemed to be supplied in earlier sakes, to card, charging cable, but be aware that the link does not support iPads. The drop down menus wouldn’t work for me. Tried it on iPhone and they worked.. lots of frustrations.
Very disappointing that the free gift included in the purchase will not be honoured. Received an email when I tried to redeem it stating it would not be sent due to Amazons policies.
Camera good, but the sticky tape supplied is useless and also the camera has to be attached directly to the windscreen and can’t be moved /removed after it’s attached because the plastic panel where the sticky tape goes, doesn’t actually detach from the camera – I tried to detatch it really hard and was close to breaking my camera, when I realised it doesnt detach – very inconvenient tbh

Like the wifi option and was easy to install
I have used these days.My favorite feature is the ability to maintain the quality of the scene while recording during the night as well. Hence capturing events at night, won’t be an issue at all. Also, the audio quality is great and sharp. There is an IR (Infrared) sensor on the front facing camera, in order to capture events happening inside the car on absolute darkness. Still, no matter what the level of brightness is, Vantrue will still be able to record and capture the event happening.
Not bad, screen hard to see when mounted. Video quality is very good even in low light. App isn’t great.
It was a gift and the person didn’t get a chance to install it yet, but the item arrived quickly, in good condition and with all parts. I will update when it’s installed and turned on.
