Excellent light output, good choice of static and flashing modes, easy fit via supplied very strong elastic straps. Small amount of light output at 90 degrees to main-beam adds some further visibility and therefore safety. Outstanding value-for-money.

Good set of lights. These were my second set of rechargeable bike lights as the previous brand were not great, with a button falling off, rendering them unusable. These are great and easy to attach. Bright and long lasting, they ensure we’re seen on the road. Good purchase for the money.

I bought these to use the white light for walking in the dark mornings. I use a head torch as my main light but a front facing flashing light is useful on open roads without paths. The build quality is very good with a metal bezel. The clip is strong making it very secure on my rucksack strap. I also use the rubber handlebar fixing as extra security. Charging is quick and easy and I’ve walked for over 2 hours with it flashing.

    Good for walking

Was a little dubious of potential quality, but actually very good, pretty much a copy of the Lezyne set but much cheaper and on my opinion better, especially battery life and rainy days.

Great value for money bike lights. Surprised they came with spare straps, nice touch. Bought to replace some old Knog lights which had a split strap that couldn’t be swapped; whilst the build quality of these new lights isn’t quite the same as the more expensive Knog lights, they do the job, battery life seems good, quite bright, happy with this purchase.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersOn first charge they charge fairly quickly but after that thay do take awhile, but it isn’t a real issue. Another issue with these is water inlet, even though they are waterproof they do get water inside the board which causes issues with the light settings. After awhile the screws holding the casing together go rusty from rain fall, then the metal screws expand, breaking the plastic casing, then the whole unit to the torch comes apart. I have provided photos.

    Fair.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI lost the rear one at some point, but the front one has been attached to various things over the years (including a motorbike for night time ground visibility when parking so it’s done 70mph in rain before), always left outside in all weather right next to the sea, and I just found it outside again on the floor (must have been there for a couple of months). It still charges with no issues, still works perfectly, I’m genuinely astonished. Unfortunately I’m going to need to buy more because I need a rear one for my daughter’s bicycle now, but I am sure they will las

These lights are very bright, are visible to motorists at extreme angles. Not for the cyclist but for the motorists who do not “see” the cyclist but become aware because of the lights. Great for your safety.

These lights are more about improving your visibility to other road users than illuminating dark roads. With that in mind these are very good value, compact and battery life is excellent. Silicone strap makes them quick to mount or remove. Front light is bright enough for urban or low light environments… not so good for dark country lanes etc.

Someone gave me a set of these and I rated them so much I bought them for all the family. I do have two sets of lights front and back and these ones are good for being seen rather than seeing in the dark. (if you see what I mean!) The other set I have are for seeing in dark country lanes. These are excellent for being seen on the busy commute an cheap. Bargain. I charge mine every weekend and they are used for roughly 45 mins a day so maybe not quite as good as they claim. Recharging no bother though. Great for my son to cycle to school as its not the end of the world if they get lost. All round winner!

Purchased these lights for my kid’s bikes as we do a bit of evening riding. Very impressed! They seem to be well made and have lots of different light functions. The brightest static mode is so bright you can see the road ahead so we use the next one down which is still bright but not blinding. A few other flashing modes to choose from too. Really easy to put on and take off, charging is easy too. Highly recommend.

These are well made. I have found them to be completely waterproof in all conditions. I like them so much I have bought 2 pairs, a set for my helmet and one for each of my bikes.
I use them constantly when cycling, even in the day. They last for a good 6 hours on flash without needing a recharge.
They are really bright, not like some which claim to be bright and aren’t.
The rubber securing pieces are strong but stretchy. They will fit seat posts, seat stays, handlebars, etc
There is a clip on the back of the light so it can be fastened to tabs on clothing or cycling bags.
Pretty much the only thing these don’t have which I would like is a side to side angle adjustment but in all other regards I would recommend them highly.

The problem with MTB lights is that they regularly get damaged, lost, or just stop working after so long. So a bike light lifetime (at least with me) is not long. Lost count of how many I’ve lost. My previous lights were 50 each, these were 16 for two (front and rear).
The best bit is they come with an 18 month guarantee through Amazon, so what’s not to like?
First impression is that the brightness is adequate for night driving on high beam (3.5hrs battery life – rechargeable). They flash for daylight use, giving you 9hrs battery life.
Last but not least they are small and light weight.
Pretty good so far, will update if I come across problems.

I just bought these, charged them up and attached them to my bike with the straps provided. They worked well in a relatively short journey, so I don’t know the full time between charges, but they are bright, and the different modes work as advertised. As you can see from the Amazon page, they’re simple disk-shaped lights, so you can’t focus or zoom them at all, you can only adjust the angle in relation to the road. They are easy to remove when you park the bike (important in some urban situations). Worked very well for me, cycling along lit streets in a city – perhaps not so well if you were relying on the front light to show you where you were going on a dark country road. But good, and good value for money.

Brilliant lights in every sense of the words. Super bright in each of the settings making it even better to be seen this time of the year. Super kit with 2 sets of bands to hold the lights on and 2 sets as spares but they also have clips fitted if you wanted to fit them to yourself when jogging or walking in the dark evenings. First photo shows the contents out of the box. Second photo shows them fully charged, i.e Front light goes from red to green when fully charged and the back light has an orange light when charged. Excellent value and they feel very robust compared to some others I have seen. Great value!

This could have been a five star rating but i had to rate as a 3 (could have been 2 star), for what could be a fundamental problem. The USB port in the light has snapped off (inside the light) meaning the bike light is now useless. I’ve only charged it once in the 3 months I’ve had the lights and wasn’t particularly careful/careless when connecting for charge. What I’ve noticed is the rubber cover to the connector port on the light pushes down on the usb cable when it is connected. Other than that the lights are excelle

Very impressed with these lights – arrived quickly and were well packaged. Needed to have the lights with stretchy band fastening as using the London hire bikes (and not bikes owned by ourselves to have a screw-on fastening). Very easy and intuitive to attach and use. Neat and small to carry around all day when not attached. They are very bright, and have settings for continuously on or flashing. Haven’t charged them yet (they arrive charged) and it looks very simple with USB cables. You will need to supply a mains plug with a USB socket for charging (but we have a few now for charging the tech). Would recommend.

These lights are very good and equally very bright. I have used cable ties to add security as the loop attachment is to me a weakness for securing the lights but it does make it harder for thieves to remove them, Saying that at the price they are great value so not the end of world if they are taken. Being retired I cannot comment too much on the battery life as it is not yet dark enough in the late afternoons. However in the Summer they are ideal when using them in country lanes where the overhanging trees can make being seen difficult. Worth the money.

Golden Review Award: 24 From Our UsersBought this to compliment the built-in lights on my electric bike. It works quite well, for the money.

    POSITIVES
    – Easy to attach onto the bike, comes with extra fastners
    – Good build quality, feels like it will last a while
    – Handy modes, simple one-button operation to cycle through the modes
    – VERY BRIGHT – alerts other road users very effectively
    – Rainproof – have ridden in heavy rains with these switched on, no problem so far
    – Decent battery life (for the money)
    – Comes with 4 fastners and 2 usb cables in the box

    NEGATIVES
    – No battery life indicator. Simply shuts down when it runs out of battery. Would have preferred a Red Amber Green light showing how much battery is still left. Instead, I have to keep track of how many hours I have used the light for and charge it accordingly.
    – Fiddly usb port for charging, not the easiest to get to

These little cycle lights are very easy to fit, charge, and offer good brightness and a variety of settings. I am so pleased I have bought two sets, with the second set being used as a little pocket light (white one) and the other being kept in my vehicle as hazard warning light in case of a breakdown. This can be placed next to a warning triangle to make other road users aware of a problem ahead .I also like the fact that I can charge them for free using my solar charging panel. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately, mine arrived in a plain unbranded box – no instruction manual. Easy enough to work and good that they are rechargeable. They seem bright enough – not sure the front light would light your route on an unlit track but definitely make you visible to other road users. Having no instruction manual, fitting them to the bike was a bit of a puzzle but fortunately photos on Amazon’s Ad shows how to do this. Overall good value for money

Although these only use 3 LEDs, each is lensed so they are very bright in a narrow beam – which is exactly what you need for good visibility to car drivers in the distance.

Also the inclusion of a clip in the housing makes the lights very flexible for attaching to bags or clothing – in addition to the normal rubber pole mounts.

These were much better than similarly priced LED lights I bought recently – which were not as bright (despite having more LEDs) and had no clip.

Overall they are good but nowhere near great lights. Quality is ok (rear light was loose out of the box but I soon tightened it) I’m pleased I got the new model with better bungy system so straps shouldn’t fall off now. I now know why there is no mention of Lumens anywhere – they ain’t too bright on full charge & after a couple of hours become rather dim. For a secondary light they are ok. The decent price gave them 4 stars otherwise it would have been 3.
    Oh & Nicely presented packaging!

A bit dim but quality & price are good.

Golden Review Award: 19 From Our UsersCycle Safety Lights, very good design and manufactured for longevity.

I have had this set for over a year I believe and they stay permanently on my cycle.

Front white light offers four options, continuous light(low), continuous light(bright), double flash and triple flash.
Same with red Backlight. Size is about 2 inches across and minimal take up space on cycle handlebars.

The battery is very good and can be recharged via USB 2 slim(wires are supplied) and I can attached to my laptop if need to charge on the go
Charge can last a few weeks depending on regular use however, my front light hasn’t been charged in over 3 months and I cycle every other day..

Strong design and LED lights with good suitable visibility.

Happy with product and would recommend or purchase for a gift

These little lights were good, and will hold a charge for a few trips, then charge super quick. I’d plug them in to my computer at uni and charge them while I worked. These are less about lighting up the way for you, and more about making you very obvious to cars/pedestrians.
Multiple modes, I recommend using the flashing so you’re very obvious to cars. They’re bright and you’ll be noticed.

One thing to note, they’re quick and easy to remove. For you, and thieves. Take them off whenever you lock your bike up, whack them in your bag or pocket.
I didn’t do this, and mine were nicked.

I have had these lights for 3 months now and we a recommendation from other guys I work with. They are bright, last well and recharge without hassle. I was a bit worried that the mounts might come undone and so I would lose one, but so far they are doing well. My commute is a 30 mile round trip around 50:50 main roads and unlit cycle paths/back lanes. The only thing I would remind people is that there are two different types of lights, those so that people see you (which these do very well) and those to help you see the road (which these only aid with in lit areas). If you are only on lit roads etc. these lights will be enough, but if you are on country, tow or cycle path riding then you will also need a directional beam light. For the money these are great and I am about to get 2 other sets for my wife and daughter!

I was looking for cheap, simple and bright bike lights and these have excelled my expectations. I spent far too long looking at different lights so trust me when I tell you to just buy these ones! Super easy to charge, even if it is a bit fiddly and stiff to do so. As a total ‘normie cyclist’ they make me feel safe and well seen on the road. Really easy to get on and off the bike, especially if you don’t have an easy section to attach them to like mine, the little hook is a nice touch making it easier to do this. I see lots of other cyclists with these.

Considering getting a second set just to have as a backup in case I lose one or both. Great product 9/10 (for the fiddly access to charge them).

I bought these lights to replace my standard battery powered lights, after they were stolen off my bike. These lights are a fantastic, cheap replacement. They have two brightness settings, and two flashing settings. The brightness of the lights is great for inner city cycling, but I’ve not yet used them on unlit roads; based on their output in a dark room though, I think they will be fine. When I first used them, I noticed the cover was loose on removing from my bike – but it just needed tightening. I recommend those who buy the lights to check the cover is secure before using though. The fit to my bike easily, and are quicker to remove than most clip-on lights, great for cold mornings when removing some lights can be a fiddly process. Overall, they’re a great product for the price – I wonder how long the rubber bands will last, but it does come with a spare pair free.

  53. LeomaBeike says:

Bought these for commuting to work, which involves a combination of roads and some single track (unlit). Based on some of the other reviews I read I was expecting these lights to be usable on unlit roads as well as lit, but having used them I’d have to say I’d only feel confident using them for general visibility, not to light dark paths, unlit roads, etc…

Overall, they’re fairly good lights for as they’re cheap, very portable, can be recharged and give decent visibility to motorists and pedestrians. If I wanted something that would give me confidence on single track, I’d go for some more powerful lights.

Golden Review Award: 65 From Our UsersThe package contains one front and one rear light, four rubber attaching cables and two standard Micro USB charging cables. There is no plug included.

Build: Each light is made up of 3 LEDs housed in a silicon rubber shell to protect it from the elements. There is a “belt-clip” style attachment on the rear. On the top of the light is the On/Off button and underneath there is a rubber flap to gain access to the charging point. This flap pushes shut quite firmly, keeping any spray off the road out of the electrics. Unfortunately this flap also makes it a little tricky to get the charging cable connected, but ones you get used to folding it back its not too tricky. Rated IPX4: “Water splashing against the enclosure from any direction shall have no harmful effect”. So rain proof.

Charging: The lights each use a standard micro USB cable. Two are included in the pack but not plug. Personally I’m not fussed about this as I seem to have plenty scattered around. The lights will also charge from a computer USB socket, which I’ve found handy as I can just plug them in at the office without having to worry about remembering to bring a charger. When plugged in a small red light switches on to indicate it is taking a charge. The manual says that a full charge takes 3 hrs, with a run-time of 3.5hrs full beam, 10hrs half beam and 10.5hrs slow flash.

Attaching: There is a “belt-clip” style hook on the back of the lights, but I’ve found this too loose to attach to clothing, though on something thicker such as a bag strap it seems OK. The lights use a thick rubber band which goes around the bike stem/bars and attaches at the top. It does the job pretty well, with no wobbling or movement over normal roads. Its also quick to put on and take off if you’re nipping in a nd out of places and don’t want to leave them on the bike. My only issue is that on my bars the brake cable runs beneath the grip top along the top bar, meaning theres a slight ridge that the back of the light rests against, meaning it takes a few second longer to sit it in a stable position.

Light: Each light has 3 modes, activated by pushing the top button. Once = Full beam. Twice = Half beam. Three times = slow flash. Four times = Double flash. Five times = Off . Full beam gives a nice wide spread that can be seen from a huge distance, lighting the road for about 10 yards or so.

Verdict: I would suggest these are perfect city riding lights. They’re certainly bright enough to make you noticeable in the dark evenings and are compact enough to pop on and off without hassle, say you want to nip into a shop on the way home. Simple USB charging means even if you forget the cable there’s probably someone around who has one to hand. They’re great for lit roads, though only OK on unlit roads; I’d suggest something more powerful if you need to light the way ahead for any length of time. At the time of writing they’re only 12, so if you do happen to leave them on the bike and they get pinched, it’s not the end of the world.

If you found my review helpful please click on the YES button to let me know. Thank you

It does the job pretty well, with no wobbling or movement over normal ...

I bought these lights as a “so people can see me” set, and they will most likely see use attached to my helmet.
My first impression of these lights is extremely good. The white light especially is extremely bright, and has served well as a torch for walking the dogs at night, especially since it can be handily clipped to my collar or belt whilst walking. The light is probably the equal of the old style bike lights you used to get about 15 years ago before halogen and then LED bulbs became common, and as it weighs about a twentieth of the weight, and is rechargeable to boot, this product demonstrates just how far the tech has come.
Three LEDs may seem overkill for this kind of light but it turns a light you could only use for being seen into something you can actually see by. Certainly good enough for cycling on poorly lit roads or footpaths.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI really like those lights. They give really powerful (but scattered) light. I’m usually using the second mode (lower intensity) to not disturb other drivers. However, these lights have one annoying property. When the battery is low, it’s the light just stop (instead of being just weaker, the light just stops suddenly). Quite dangerous. Once, I was biking back home in the dark, quite sure that mine rare light works. When I arrived, I noticed that the light is off (it turned out somewhere during my ride). When I pressed the button the light went on (quite strong light). Then after 5 minutes it turned itself off. After charging the inner battery it started to behave properly again. I understand, it is a mechanism to protect the life of the battery (to not over-exhoust the battery). But I would prefer if the light proritise my own life. Therefore, one star less. Otherwise, it would be just 5/5.
