This is a fantastic wee torch – small enough to easily take camping or to keep in the car, and with a hefty weight and solid feel to it. It has five modes; three levels of brightness, strobe and a very useful SOS flashing sequence. You can focus the beam too, which is handy. Most impressive in this torch though is the incredible brightness – when we first turned it on, you’d have thought we’d turned on a proper lamp, and it lit up the whole room! The battery life seems decent, and it’s great that you can easily recharge this with the USB cable. Brilliant torch, always handy to have one to hand and never had one as good as this before.

This torch is really great or I should say really bright. It’s almost too bright to be used in a group of people as you’ll inevitably dazzle somewhere, but if you’re out alone or heading down the garden in the dead of night (which admittedly doesn’t happen very often) this torch is definitely a good bet

One slightly curious thing is that you have to hold the button down for several seconds to make the torch come on. It’s not a huge issue for just counter-intuitive is your the sort of person who doesn’t read instructions!

It is incredibly bright. It last a while but the brightest setting is so powerful it illuminates everything at an incredible distance. It is good enough for HM Forces, it is so very bright. It is also quite large and heavy’ish. I like it but, having ordered it for my child, we do not use it all that often because it is on the heavier side.

This is a high powered torch, gives off a huge amount of light. I like how compact it is in size and the ability to adjust the brightness is excellent. Battery life is very good.

This is an amazingly bright torch and, although it is sturdy and metal, it is not too heavy.

I use it for reading my gas meter which is at the back of a very dark coats cupboard. Torch in one hand and phone in the other, take my photo, zoom in and sunlit the reading. Job done!

I’ve had three like this in recent years. One I’ve given to charity because it was using batteries too much and they were not rechargeable. The other, like this one, has a built in, rechargeable battery which means they are always bright and cost less in the long run. This one is bigger and brighter than my other which has now been relegated to second place.

This LED torch is brilliant, it’s so powerful, you really can see far away. We live close to the woods so this is perfect for th night. My daughter also loves using this for her night time hikes with the scouts, she definitely has the brightest torch in the group.

The battery life is very good and it charges up quick. Long lasting and very good quality. Really easy to use, nice and compact and not too heavy.

A bright 10000 Lumens LED torch by ASORT.

There is some weight to the torch.
It is made of heavy-duty aluminum with knurled grip. The adjustable lanyard is pretty handy. The torch has a telescopic zoom, which can be controlled one-handedly with little push and pull.

It can be charged with a micro-USB charger and there is an additional USB power output to charge the phone when needed. It took approximately 2 hours to fully charge it with a car charger.

Overall, a nice torch with great functionality. But price-wise, it is a little too expensive at 27.99.

This really is a superb torch. Its rugged design and solid construction make it ideal for a range of outdoor activities, as well as an excellent light source for my in-car emergency kit. At night the beam has a range of over 500 metres, making it very useful for night walking or security work.

The unit needs to be charged using the USB cable supplied. This takes approximately six hours for the first charge. To operate the torch you need a five second press on the prominent on/off switch. This is longer than I would have liked, but I don’t feel it detracts massively from this product’s overall quality.
Once the powerful beam is on, further single presses of the switch cycle you through high, medium, low, strobe and SOS. A five second press of the switch turns the unit off.

In addition, the torch is rated to IPX67 standard, making it dustproof and waterproof to a depth of one meter for up to thirty minutes.

This is a quality piece of kit and my husband is very happy to have it to take on all his camping and walking trips.

This torch is very well made and feels very solid in the hand. It claims to be waterproof, although the warning not to immerse it in water suggests that it is water-resistant; in other words can be used in rain. It is also VERY bright, and has a “telescopic” function: the light can be focused by moving the torch head up and down.

To prevent accidentally turning the torch on, the “On” button needs to be depressed for five seconds to turn it on or off. When on, pressing the button circles between various functions: different intensities, strobe and SOS. Battery life is claimed to be 4 hours.

The lithium battery is rechargable, using the Micro USB port with the cable included. There is also a output USB port that can be used like a power-bank to charge mobile phones and so on. Very useful>

All in all, a great torch for all sorts of purposes.

ASORT LED Torch Super Bright 10000 Lumens Flashlight

Although much smaller than I had imagined, this torch certainly packs a punch. I previously had a large handheld spotlight which was certainly powerful, but also heavy and a bit of a burden if carrying around for any length of time. That torch has given up on me so I have been looking for a worthy replacement.

The torch is supplied in a decent quality printed box, the contents are safely housed inside set in a foam insert with cut-outs, so the torch should arrive safe and undamaged. The torch itself, although smaller than expected is certainly well made and looks as if it will stand up to the rigours of outdoor use. Also included is a 4800 mAh lithium-ion rechargeable battery, this can provide up to 15 hours constant use on the lowest light setting. The battery will take between 4-6 hours to fully charge.

The build quality appears to be top notch, the torch is certainly designed for outside use in demanding weather conditions. The body of the torch is made from tough aluminium with a blackened finish, this is sealed to prevent water from entering. This is rated at IPX67v which means it is ‘100% protected against solid objects like dust and sand, and it has been tested to work for at least 30 minutes while under 15cm to 1m of water’. Although I wouldn’t go purposely submerging this in water, but it should be fine whilst used in a downpour or stormy weather.

This torch certainly has some power, it has 5 various light outputs with a super bright 10,000 lumens on the highest setting. The beam can be focused into a small area by rotating the ring on the lens. If on the highest setting the beam will illuminate the trees quite clearly on the other side of a large field near our house.

I do like this torch, it sure is powerful. Another handy feature is that it has a USB output so it can be used as an emergency power pack if you wish.

This LED torch comes with a 21700 lithium-ion rechargeable battery with 4800mAh capacity, which is massive for an LED torch.

There is only one button to toggle switching on/off and different light brightness. You need to hold the button for 2 seconds for it to switch on or off, I did thing this was not working before reading the instructions, but this feature is great for preventing accidentally switching this on in your rugsack, as it does give out heat if it is on for too long.

The housing of the torch is absolutely solid in steel. The head of the torch does heat up eventually.

The light is brightest I have seen on any torches that I have come across. You may pull the head to adjust the focus from spread to beam. The light beam can shoot through the sky at night, very impressive.

There is a MicroUSB cable included for charging directly plug into the torch. There is also a USB-A out charge say if you want to top up your phone with this, the out charge works in 5V1A, not quick but could be a lifesaver.

It also comes with an adjustable wrist strap.

Overall, a great bright torch that comes with a battery in massive capacity. It worth the 28.99 price tag in my opinion.

The following is a review of the ASORT LED Torch Super Bright 10000 Lumens Flashlight. It arrived in a descriptive box together with a battery, small wrist type lanyard, charging lead and book of well written instructions. It’s best to read the instructions first off: the battery is sealed in a clear plastic sleeve and needs to be removed otherwise it won’t work or change up once inserted in the torch but also make sure you load the battery the right way with the + sign going in first. It can also be used as a small ‘power bank’ to charge small devices via the built-in socket and supplied lead. First off and not knowing how much charge was in it, I put the battery in anyway but was surprised to find it was charged – there is a small green LED in the switch and as I have found, it goes red warn it needs recharging – see photo. You do need to press the switch and keep it held for a few seconds to switch it on – like so many similar devices these days. But once switched on, this is one really bright light plus you can zoom it in but the main beam does light things up incredibly well as we actually lit the road up outside our house. There are five light and power modes you can alternate from by pressing the on/off button: these being – high – medium – low – strobe – SOS – plus turn off at the end of the cycle. The charging socket is covered by a waterproof cover – see photos – and with the seals in the torch itself being claimed to be waterproof, so far I have not tried it in water but have no reason to assume otherwise. The overall build quality is high with good machining of the metal marts especially. Overall very bright, well made torch and handy in so many applications from in the car to around the house to being out in the great outdoors, this would seem to tick all the boxes.

Not a 'lightweight' but has a very powerful light output!

Priced at 28.99 for this torch is quite expensive and overpriced in my opinion . This torch is quite standard and basic, compared to other ones I have used in the past. I must admit, I thought I broke this torch as I couldn’t figure out how to turn it on! Turns out you need to hold the power button down for a good few seconds!

The size and durability of this torch is quite decent sized. The flashlight is nice and bright and has different modes where you can zoom in/out as well as different lightening modes. Overall, this is a OK torch – although it doesn’t deserve the price tag…

This is a very powerful and bright torch which has 5 lightening modes (high-medium -low -strobe –SOS– turn off).

I like the fact this is charged via a usb cable as it allows you to even charge your mobile phone so perfect for emergencies

Overall very handy to have and worth keeping in the car.

This torch is to put it simply, the best I’ve ever used. It is certainly the brightest, more a searchlight than torch. It is very well made from aluminium and has a simple to operate extension by pulling the head outwards. This widens or shortens the beam according to your wish. It has 5 modes, 3 brightness settings and a strobe plus an sos function which is just flashing. The power button lights up to indicate charge status.
It is supplied with a lanyard and USB cable. It can also be used as a portable power bank, with a power out option next to the USB charging port. The torch is easy to hold and operate and very easy to grip. It is also waterproof, and finally you can stand it on end and use it as a room lantern. An absolutely brilliant torch in every sense of the word, and well worth the investment.

This torch is made of sturdy aluminium, and features a very powerful 10,000 Lumen beam.

In the kit is the torch itself, a 21700 Lithium-Ion battery with a 4,800 mAh capacity that will power the torch for 4 hours on ‘high, and 20 hours on low, a USB charging cable and finally a set of instructions.

Putting the battery was a little troublesome for me, mainly because there is a spring contact at each end of the battery whereas normally there is only a spring contact on the negative terminal.
You remove the plastic protection from the battery, then insert it in the torch, with the positive (+) terminal going into the ‘head’ of the torch.
I then charged it for a couple of hours – the light around the switch is red when the battery is low and goes green when it is charged.
There is a USB charging cable provided and the charging socket is under a rubber flap on the head of the torch.
TIP : I put a tiny little bit of Vaseline on the threads before screwing it together, firstly it stops it making the horrible ‘grating’ noise when screwing and unscrewing it and secondly it will prevent any corrosion on the threads.

To turn the torch on you need to press it for 5 seconds, presumably this is to prevent the torch getting accidentally turned on, thus when you come to use it, say an emergency, it would be flat.
When it turns on it is in the ‘High’ mode, and further single presses take it through the cycle of : High -> Medium -> Low -> Strobe -> SOS -> Off.
To turn it off at any stage in the cycle, just long press the button for 5 seconds.

The torch is also waterproof to IPX-67 standard, but don’t immerse it in water though, and make sure the rubber flap is over the charging port too.

The one and only real disappointment was that is didn’t come in a plastic case, to keep everything in, ALL my other torches have been supplied in one (look at other similar torches here on Amazon), even cheaper ones, to be honest, and I nearly knocked a star off because of it – manufacturer please note !
Adding a case would make this ‘very good’ torch ‘great’ !

Because everything else is so impressive though, it gets 5 stars from me.

This is a little larger than I expected, and is quite heavy and bulky. It’s not the size you could comfortably carry around in a pocket, it’s weighty. Having said that it does feel very well made and like it will last a long time. I like the usb charging cable, it saves the hassle of having to carry round a separate battery charger. The power of this torch is excellent it emits a very strong powerful beam which reaches out as far as you’d really need it to. It’s not the easiest to use, I thought it didn’t work at first, before I worked out you need to hold down the power button for a
Good couple of seconds to activate. You can dim the beam, and it has flash mode. A good torch to have around the home or for a camping bag, but it’s not particularly portable

This torch uses a very large battery so should last for a long time. The button needs to be held for a couple of seconds to turn on and off which isn’t a bad thing so you don’t blind anyone.
It is very bright for its size and the zoom is very easy to use.
Only thing I was confused about was the fact the centre part comes apart, which this isn’t glued into place to stop any accidental unscrewing I don’t know.

    Bright and heavy

Nice heavy torch, feels secure and sturdy in hand.
It’s extremely luminous and illuminates a large area, there is also several less bright beams also and that you can use.
It also has as a sos option.
Rechargeable battery, this is my favourite feature. Torches eat through batteries so a rechargeable one is excellent for saving money and much more energy efficient.
It has a long range zoom, Great for me as I walk my dog on a pitch black field at night and sometimes a long zoom in necessary to scope out the wider area.
    Highly effective and useful torch.

  21. Anonymous says:

This is a powerful torch at a reasonable price. Torches tend to get smaller and more powerful all the time and this is one of the best I’ve had. It’s rechargeable and there’s a debate to be had here about this verses batteries. Batteries can be replaced instantly and if you’re out in the wild for a long time that’s the best option, but you have to carry them. If you recharge regularly and don’t over-use the torch then this is perfect, however, you can get caught out if you’re not careful.

To operate it you have to press and hold for five seconds to turn on the torch. There is then a sequence: (high-medium -low -strobe –SOS– turn off). You also can press and hold for five seconds to turn off while in any mode. It’s pretty simple but very effective. There’s a focusing system on the lens to enlarge or reduce the beam allowing you to focus on a single point or illuminate a wide area. The torch is advertised as IPX67 standard. If we compare IPX7 vs IP67, IPX7 means the product is only waterproof and can be submerged in water of 1-meter depth for 30-minutes. IP67 is better than IPX7 because it is fully dustproof and waterproof. IP67 can also be submerged in water for 30 minutes at a depth of 1-meter and can be used in dirty places. However, on the Amazon page it says do not immerse the torch in water. Why not?

I like the fact that there’s a battery level indicator on the torch even though it’s rudimentary. According to the picture on the Amazon page the torch can be used as a sort of “power bank” to charge your phone, but I haven’t tested this. Overall I’m pleased with the torch. It’s powerful and will be well used.

This really is very very bright! This battery operated and rechargeable torch packs real punch. On its brightest setting it actually lit up the whole room as though I had put a lightbulb in the ceiling. I’ve honestly never seen such a powerful torch in such a compact size.
There are various settings on this. The torch itself has three different Power levels, then fast Flash and slow flash which you would use in emergencies.
The fast flash is bright and quick and actually like a strobe. If you suffer from epilepsy you”ll need to be very careful with the flash settings and make sure you keep it away from children for this reason. To get to your desired setting you need to just click the button which I found a little bit annoying as I really don’t like the fast strobe. It’s a shame there aren’t two buttons, went for the torch function and another for the stroke and emergency lights.
This would be a great item to keep in your car in case of an emergency situation. There is no danger you wouldn’t be seen with this light as it’s so bright. It has some weight to it.
I think this would be excellent for camping. I almost always take a rechargeable torch on holiday with me as you never know what the lighting is going to be around your accommodation and resort at night.
Unusually though, the body of this torch started to get very warm after it was only on for a few minutes. This worried me slightly as I’m sure that this should not happen and it surely must be draining the battery as it’s generating heat. I have a few rechargeable torches but none of them have ever become hot when switching on. If anyone knows if this is normal let me know.

In terms of performance and brightness this is outstanding.
