Used this rat poison in conjuction with the wire wool I brought have not seen any buggers again for the mome
Hopefully will get rid of pests will hopefully find out soo
Tried everything except poison. If this didn’t work I was moving house. Did the job
Put 2 out not seen mouse again (yet) pouch has definitely gone
Good value for money used for 5 days done the trick
The rats have taken two lots already so hopefully the population of rats near me will start to subside
Only use this in a bait box not traps etc and don’t use the bar in the trap , Put 6 in the box and leave for 2 days check replace bait etc will take a few days but this does work . If you want quick kills you will need to get a trap and keep away from humans and other animals.
Great for my garden shed .Used in the past .Grea
Living out in the country mice and rats tend to come in for a warm and food.
After hearing a couple of nights of the tiny pattering of feet above my head I wasn’t too worried thinking they would soon be back out again.
No wrong I was on that front they decided that eating their way through shoes was much more preferable than being outside.
So another type of bait used being this one. Usually use loose pellets but these come in a little bag thing is the mice or rats we had decided that they would grab it out of the trap. So all depends on what type of traps you have too as to if they will grab and run with it.
We had it up in the loft for over a week but could still hear the patter of them at night mostly. Even caught them on camera jiggling the trap to get to sachets so they must have smelt pretty good.
Eventually after a week and a half no more noises. So yes it works but takes a time nothing that will work wonders overnight or in a week.
Well the mice stopped visiting so I assume it worked fine
I have tried other products with no success, on the second day this was down in my garage, the little blighters had eaten most of one packet and started on another. GOT YA !!
I’ve given five stars as it would be unfair to give less when I don’t know if it works yet. I put some in my shed where a mouse had nibbled through dozens of water bottles I kept it there. I put it on a mouse trap as bait (double my chances) but I never had a bite. It’s not to say that the poison didn’t attract attention because I also had more traps set with peanut butter but again no bites there either. Must have just been mice travelling through, in need of a drink.
The concept of these are really good as I really like the fact that they’re not messy to handle. The rodents in property have taken them but not sure if they are storing them in their nest or whether they’ve actually eaten them and they passed away as I haven’t seen any evidence of their bodies lying around. The instructions to say can take up to 35 days to see results as it more than possible that the rodents already had food stored away in their nest and are just stock piling as I only started feeding them about 20 days it is so difficult to tell how effective these are but the concept is good for now I’ll just give four stars.
We were having some building work done which necessitated moving our bins out of a shed and to the front of the property.
This was obviously a great opportunity for the local rats who within weeks had made this into a theme park and were ravenously gobbling up all of the scraps left by the binmen.
Something had to be done and so I got this poison which looks like ( and actually is) pasta parcels wrapped up in thin paper ( which you leave on).
I scattered a whole bag near all of the bins (and out of sight of birds) at dusk and by dawn there was not a single piece left. So clearly these are tasty to rats.
However while numbers of rats have noticaby diminished there are still a few around do I will have to get more of this.
I can’t prove conclusively that this works but indications are that it does. This is reasonably priced so I will stick with this brand for now.
It’s hard to tell if it works as I can’t see how many rats it’s got to but I can say I put 6 pouches in my bait box (never put then loose on the floor) as per the instructions 3 days ago and half of them have been ripped and eaten already so the rats must like the smell. Remember to always wear gloves when handling this kind of stuff as it is poison!
The pink pouches are very easy to put on the bait box rod but it would have been nice to have a resealable bag so the unused pouches were secured away from other animals in my shed.
Love this product, I had a bit of a problem in the garage/shed and i use this as food, got rid of them all within 3 days! Would recommend if you’re trying to get rid of these. Worked instantly and no sign of them ever since so it has definitely done what its designed to do.
This rat poison is so easy to use, just put the little bags where needed, in a rat box or down the rat hole. This is where I used mine, I found the hole and poked a few down with a stick then threw some soil down so they cant get out. I haven’t seen any rats since so hopefully they have all gone.
Does what it says on the tin. I really like how it’s separated it different sachet making it easy to use and to distribute evenly.
They were pretty much finished in a few days and I haven’t seen some of the usual suspects recently so it seems to be doing the trick.
Hope you found my review useful.
I have rats and mouse round the back garden and so do many of our neighbours. I spread these rodent poison out and after a few days, I noticed they have taken bait from nearly all the poison and I have spotted less of them. I hope the bait has put them off.
Make sure you wear disposable gloves and or wash your hands thoroughly.
These bait look well made and you get enough to neutralise them.
The bait is priced well and I think its worth the money.
Works well, as for the flavour you need to as the wife. Lol
Living in a rural area, I keep a close eye on rodent activity in the hedgerows around my home. It’s inevitable that they’re around as I feed birds daily and the residual food is an attraction. I place bait when I see holes or signs of a run and have kept them under control.
This bait is really easy to use and I prefer it to the loose pellets which can tumble everywhere and need to be handled with care. The bait is solid and can be placed exactly where required without handling. It’s attracting rodents as I’ve placed two and they’ve been eaten. My only concern is finding the carcasses before stray cats or birds of prey pick them upthat’s the tricky bit with chemical bait that can be ingested by other animals. Impressed with this for ease of use and the fact it’s peanut scented which seems to make it very attractive.
Living rurally, we end up with rodents in the shed through the winter – sadly a shed in name only as it’s being held together by ivy. Before my partner moved in, I adopted a live and let live policy which is to say I never went in my shed between about October through to the end of March – but his favoured approach has been the war of attrition, one he’s destined never to win as of course the rodents constantly throw up fresh generations of young.
Anyway, my partner was delighted to be able to try out another weapon in his war against the rodent menace – and this is what he thought –
‘Included in this 150g pack of Aviro Rat and Mouse Poison are fifteen 10g bait sachets – not blocks. The poison here is brodifacoum based. The standout feature that distinguishes this product from similar bait sachets is that it also contains a synthetic peanut additive – an irresistible attractant if you’re a mouse or rat.
Recently I’d not been having much luck putting down bait in sachets. However, this Aviro bait in sachets – put down yesterday – had been taken by today. I’d assume this may have been down to the synthetic peanut element as otherwise my previous bait and this one both contain the same poison.
I find effective rodent control is helped by switching around a range of different products so I’ll substitute this in my bait traps for the bait I’ve been finding not very useful.
At 6.99 at time of writing, this poison is reasonably priced – though I would prefer to buy it in larger packs. So far I’m impressed and I’d say this is certainly worth a try!’
These are my preferred style of rat poison, the handy sachets mean you don’t have to touch it and it’s simple to put a few out a night in the bait station.
These were getting taken every night and while we haven’t seen any dead rats, the last evening we put some out they weren’t taken by the morning and still haven’t been so we can only hope the previous lot has worked and there are currently no more rats!
Seem to be very effective, would recommend.
This stuff is great if traps don’t seem to be cutting down the flow of mouse and rats. This bait can be placed down which they will eat and it will kill them quickly. The only downside is finding where they end up as they will start to rot. We seem to get through most the year on traps then require a month of baiting as they start annoying our chickens. This pack actually had 15 x 10g sachets which I tent to put 3 down a night so this will last just under a week for me. I’ve tried it the last 3 nights and it’s getting eaten and I have seen some of the casualties so it must be working well. Quick and easy to use, clear directions for use included on the packet too. Great work!
here is not much you can say about these, they do what it says on the tin, kills a rat.
Would buy again and would recommend.
Easy to use in the trap.
These sachets are clean to use and hopefully they will work well , when I have had time to use them .
This rat poison worked in our attic. We’ve been having alot of mices coming and going.
I tried this and left for a few days and the sound in the attic has gone away.
Good thing is I don’t think they die in the attic but go somewhere else to die which is good as there is no smell.
Pretty effective stuff and work which is important.
Happy to use this to deal with the rat problem. I’ve already found a dead rat in the garden.I put the poison in egg cartons in the runs and in the top of the compost bins. Seems quite effective.
Not easy to say if it works or not – time will tell. The rats certainly take it and according to the blurb one bite is enough!
It is however extremely easy to use, well presented.
