This doll is amazing, I wasn’t expecting to be so blown away by her but I am and the quality from Mattel for once is good. She’s definitely my new favourite, I recommend 100% if you can get her. I will be looking around now to see of I can get the others in this collection for sure.

My great-niece absolutely loves her Darth Vader Barbie. This was my gift to her for her 10th birthday, and it was a huge hit. Doll is sleek and cool, and comes in a stunning black futuristic costume. Beautiful red display case completes the look. Pricey, but worth it.

Fue un regalo para mi hermana que las colecciona pero en verdad es muy bonita, lo nico malo es que lleg un poco maltratada la caja y eso demerita mucho la mueca. Un coleccionista busca perfeccin en todo el producto y es el segundo producto que me lleg en diciembre de 2020 con el empaque lastimado, fuera de ello fue un precio espectacular a un ao de su lanzamiento.

This comes in a big red display box. The front is a clear plastic so I can see the details. It’s going to stay as a collector piece and go on a shelf in my daughters room. The quality and details are great on this. I think the overall look is more stylish than menacing which is intended I’m sure.

Love the doll, but doll was not received in Barbie shipper box and the Barbie box Star Wars decor strap that keeps the flaps closed is missing and an Amazon shipping sticker is placed on my Barbie box which I cannot remove with damaging barbie’s box, also the plastic has scratches and box was dusty. As a collector it’s upsetting.
I was going to take her out of the box, but I like the box design.

Wanted this doll for ages but didn’t like the price tag, so when it was reduced I decided to purchase it.
First of all I am very disappointed that it does not come in the Mattel Shipper box. It just comes in an Amazon box with absolutely no protection apart from a piece of rolled up paper. As a consequence, the presentation box is very scratched and considering this is a collectors doll, I am not impressed.
Secondly, the doll’s fringe is cut on an angle and her hair doesn’t look right, something Mattel’s quality control department should have picked up.
Overall a nice doll, but could have been a lot better.

Bought it for my girlfriend who collect dolls and she absolutely loved it.
She is a nice box that opens up on the sides – I have left her in the box and she will not be played with.
Her clothing and outfit are very unique – all black – pencil skirt, sunglasses, bodice with Ruffle aka peplum and all looking like a shiny faux leather with a tiny bit of red in there. Shiny knee high boots.
She almost looks like a dominatrix if you are not familiar with Star Wars.
The item did not come in its original box. Also, the plastic packaging that the figure comes in has a scratch on the top. I like to receive items in collector’s conditio

If you are a StarWars and Barbie fan this is a great mashup. The box is nice for display. The details on the doll are really good. The shiny plastic and fabric come together really well and convey the look of Vader and the empire. I’d say this doll is certainly for collecting and display and not playing. Overall really nice and great looking and I’d recommend getting it if you are a collector or fan.

This is a collector’s item – honestly, you’ll want to display it in the box and it still looks glorious all packed up.

I don’t know if I can express just how truly excited I am to have this. I’m a Gen X’er, and grew up on the original Star Wars (the good ones). I saw all 3 in the theaters multiple times. My dad would bring me action figures back every time he had to go out of town. I’m STILL mad at my brother over 20 years later for playing with my X-Wing Fighter in the bathtub. Star Wars is sacred.
I wasn’t as much of a Barbie fiend. I had many, of course, and played with them. I often played Barbie Shipwreck and floated them down the creek.
The point is, both of these franchises have been a part of my vernacular my entire life. Finding something that marries them together in such a cool, strange, beautiful way. It is exquisite. Sure, I can hear the criticisms that she’s Kylo Ren’s long lost sister, or she’s just a goth version of Barbie going out to the clubs. I, however, adore this. I could never have imagined such a thing.
Her face is amazing, somehow simultaneously giving off a bit of a danger edge while still retaining the Barbie features. The Vader costume is amazing, from what I can see. Please understand that there’s no way I’m taking this beauty out of the box. Heck, even the box itself is a beautiful thing. I’m grateful that mine arrived in perfect condition.
I’m not sure what I will ultimately do with this doll. It may pay for one of my kids’ tuition one day. That is, if I can part with it. A big chunk of me wants to open it up and play with it. A big chunk of me wants to display the box under a glass dome. I love this so much.

This is a beautiful doll. I will admit having a female Darth Vader is weird but it works for me. Whoever sculpted this doll knew what they were doing. Barbies face is incredible and the paint job is top notch. This is not a toy. I mean someone could play with it but at the cost it would be cheaper to get a cheaper Barbie and custom make it.

This Barbie is so beautiful, and the box creates a nice presentation. This is the kind of Barbie you buy and hold onto for 20 years, and that’s what I intend on doing! It’s great for displaying around the house, and is really a fun piece for parents who are into Star Wars who have kids into Barbies.

Keep the box bubble wrapped or in a glass display case to keep it as pristine as possible. Who knows whether this Barbie will be sought after by collectors a decade from now.
This doll is wonderful and a great addition to any Star Wars Collector or Barbie Collector’s collections.
The idea behind the doll is taking elements of Darth Vader and giving them to Barbie to model on the doll world’s 12″ fashion runway.. and since Barbie is still a fashion model along with all of the other jobs she’s had in her life – everything about this doll works out just right!

This Vader Barbie is incredibly well designed and well made. Even the box is awesome, thanks to the cool art and the clever way it opens up; perfect for collectors. The only downside is the asking price, which I do think is too steep. A $60 price-point seems much more reasonable.
Being a collector edition doll, I’m sure most of the dolls will be kept in their boxes, so the box really is just as important as the doll itself. The box is heavy cardboard and the plastic on the front is very clear and thick. It’s not a cruddy throw-away box like the regular Barbies come in. Its a unique shape as well. It comes with a red plastic band holding the box shut, but you can remove that to move the side flaps of the box so the view of the doll is not obscured. It’s a really nice presentation for your doll.
Barbie-Vader is on a display stand inside the box. The base of the stand has the Star Wars logo on it. Barbie-Vader has Darth’s look with the cloak, chest plate, leather boots, she even has his control panel as a purse she is holding. Her haircut is somewhat reminiscent of his helmet. She does have red accents on her outfit, but I really would have liked to see something more related to a light saber on her.
Just incase you were wanting to take her out, the bottom of the box says this is not intended for children under 14. I’m not sure why it says that since regular Barbies have teeny tiny pieces just like this one. Maybe Barbie-Vader will turn them to the dark side?
Barbie as Darth Vader – Really impressive doll and outfit – totally makes up for the lacklustre 60th Anniversay Barbies. Only time will tell if she will hold her value as a collector’s item. Great presentation box
Less impressed with R2D2 and Princess Leia. R2D2 is an odd choice but has some nice cat walk/fashion show touches. Leia has a great gown and gorgeous hairstyle but the face mould is a disappointment. Amazon.com reviewers have complained that she doesn’t look like Carrie Fisher – she’s not sold as a CF doll but Mattel have gone for an old 1970s big-eyed smiley look. She would have been so much better with one of the modern edgy faces (as they have for the other two)

This doll is absolutely gorgeous. I love her, is a collectible doll and is inspired by the most iconic character of Star Wars, Darth Vader. The doll is very detailed and is my favorite of the three Star Wars Barbie dolls.
