A bit expensive but does the job perfectly, easy to fit and looks nice and clean !
I was reluctant to buy a third party faceplate however after Sony sent me on a wild goose chase I decided to go with a third party I tried other ones on Amazon and all had to go back as they didn’t fit and kept falling off however I bought benazcap and wow they do fit and look absolutely stunning on the PS5 shame Sony missed their opportunity I’m very happy with the face plates quality is the same as Sony if not better and sure does make the PS5 look very stealthy would highly recommend getting these face plates they are so much cheaper and are a true black not like Sony’s off black and are cheaper too
Considering these are not official replacements, you can’t tell from a far, it’s only when you get a bit closer to them

Watch an how to video before removing old plates and putting new ones on. This will make you more confident to pull and push hard enough to remove!!
Great product which adds something different as I wasn’t a fan of a white PlayStation!
Easy to install, but I ended up YouTube’ing it as the instructions were basic. With the guide of the video all done in less than 2 mins
Looks awesome, some people like the original white, but personally I like this much better. Easy to attach and not to pricey. postage was quick and well protected.

Look great – this is how the PS5 should have looked out of the box. Significantly cheaper than the official Sony ones are likely to be and available NOW, not sometime in 2022. The quality as far as I’m concerned is the same as the original as it’s just plastic at the end of the day! Unlike another reviewer, I couldn’t care less that it doesn’t have the cut out PS logo that the original has, these still look much better. Very pleased. Easy enough to install tho did have to look for a quick video on YouTube to check I was doing it right as was scared I was going to force the originals off when removing them and end up snapping the plastic!
Very overpriced for what are essentially two pieces of plastic, however, if you want a black PS5 this is a good option and worth the slight premium.
Of note is the quality of material which is good. Bonus that they are identical to the original plates.
Of course, you can now buy official Sony plates but you could get these, save money and nobody would be able to tell.
For that reason, I am happy with my purchase and can recommend this product!
It’s only a shame that it doesn’t have the PS logo, but I guess they can’t for legal options. Other than that, it’s awesome
Very pleased with this! Was presented well and feels like a quality product! Before the PS5 looked a little out of place on my unit as I’ve got pretty much got all black on my setup and straight away it looks sleeker and alot more pleasing on the eye! Along side the Series X the PS5 looks great where before it was a little bit of an eyesore.
Great value, awesome plates, wasn’t impressed with the packaging but the product more than made up for it. Simple installation and they look great.
Much as I like the space age we look of the white ps5, it stands out too much in a living room.
The faceplates give a nice Matt black look to the ps5, making it blend in with other devices in the room.
The plates fit well and go on in seconds once you know how (I was initially too gentle trying to remove the original plates).
Material and sturdiness about the same as the original plates.
Was dubious at first to be honest, but have to say, great well made product, good quality and easy to fit, although the instructions that came with wasn’t the best, a quick search on YouTube and I was done within minutes. Highly recommend these if you want a black PS5.

The shell fits perfectly and looks fantastic! Well packaged with clear instructions. Plastic which the shell is made from seems sturdy enough. The only problem I do have is the price. Over 30 for 2 pieces of plastic? Somewhat disappointing.
But still I’d highly recommend this shell for anyone who wants their PS5 to look as it should from the production line.

A nice alternative to the white ps5. Doesn’t show up dirt like the ps5 white does . The black plates Look very nice indeed will look good in any cabinet .
Really happy with these faceplates! I disliked the look of the usual white coloured plates so was really pleased to come across these. They were relatively simple to install but it does take a bit of brute force. Be careful not to scratch the inside of your console with the hooks. Otherwise they look great!

These new side panels are a very good quality material, made well, looks great, and fit the PS5 perfectly.
If you want an all Black PS5 i would highly recommend these.
The faceplates make the PS5 look like a PS4 (if you prefer the console to be black)
These faceplates are not the cheapest, but the extra quality seems to be worth extra expense.

The plates themselves are good quality, there packaged decently and you can put you old plates in the box it came with. Only issue is there’s no ps logo cut out but they can’t do it for copyright. Would recommend!

These were a simple click replacement for the white panels on the PS5.
At least now it’s protected and looks better.
The only thing missing is markings for the stand.

Big tip: when you pull slightly on the dipped corners slide it down/clockwise. Comes straight off!
Do NOT buy from D Brand, their things are Overpriced, BUY THESE PLATES INSTEAD, Thy are fantastic quality, amazing finish, it’s smooth, come packaged VERY WELL and have an amazing black tone to them, I Highly reccomend, also they are very cheap.

Pleasantly surprised on the quality of plastic and fit on these panels. They also match the midnight black controller.
One of the plastic clips snapped off when I was trying to clip it in but it still works. Looks great I would definitely recommend one if you don’t like the white.

Negatives: The disk drive side kept popping out of place very easily but as I’m standing mounting that holds it in place and therefore isn’t a problem.
Positives: the plates are excellent quality and are identical to the original plates except for the lack of logos and the ps emblem cutout- really impressed!
Nice and easy to instal and looks great now it blends in with the rest of my entertainment unit!!!

The quality of the plates feels and looks amazing. I definitely would recommend anyone to swap the plates from white to black.
So there is nothing great about the Benazcap Faceplates like the dbrand dark plates. It doesn’t come with a fancy box or all the cool little designs that replicate the original PS5 plates, it also lacks the ps logo cut out on the top left corner but it doesn’t feel super cheap either. About the same weight as the PS5s but u can def tell a difference.
The cuts are clean no plastic sticking out or any imperfections I can see at first glance. I highly recommend watching YouTube on how to remove the plates correctly and once u get them off and see how it hooks and snaps in it will make sense and be easy to do.
I got the PS2 themed PS5 decal printed out. The purple blue light strips, middle decal, and the ps logo for the corner. I feel like it came together perfectly. I love it and paid under a 100 bucks to get it pretty much exactly the way I wanted it.
I was so close to painting the plates but I’m so happy I didn’t just in case I want to go back to the original white plates. I would def recommend the Benazcap plates but I would’ve went with the dbrands if I didn’t have to wait for July. The pricing is so close but I feel like u get more with dbrand.

Replaced the panels in literally seconds, a perfect replacement and secure fit, no logos at all due to copyright including the symbols that are used to align the stand for horizontal use, so take note of where to place the stand before removing the originals, very very happy and worth every penny .
I really wish Sony had gone with black to start off withit looks so much better than the white.
This shell is very much the same as the white ones except no PlayStation logo or symbols (it’s not made by Sony and with all the lawsuits from the past over ps5 plates I can understand why they are missing)
For under 30 it’s a bargain (cheaper than dbrands that take ages to ship from America and technically not in stock until July)
I only wish Sony had mad these plates from the start.
For now I have a lovely black ps5 – the only time I will change it is if a fancy tomb raider, uncharted, or Spider-Man one came out.

I was a bit daunted about changing them as I thought it would be really hard to do. But no, took me about 30 seconds for each side. No unscrewing needed just clip and play.
Some reviewers have moaned there is No Sony PS logo cutout on the top, well of course not Sony owns the PS logo !!! All in all very please with how my PS5 now looks
I didn’t mind the white shell too much, but it looks awesome now.
The build quality, is great. exactly what is described. and the Matte Black isn’t “off black” like some brands.
Removal of the original shell is a tiny bit nerve racking. but overall not too bad.
Getting the new shell on is surprisingly easy. So much so that i first thought I hadn’t done it properly.
Overall, this is awesome!
