The grill is compact, easily fits on outdoor table or stool. Everyone can socialize sitting around it, because you don’t need to pick an outcast who makes food somewhere in the fireproofed corner while others are chilling. Bottom thing (which also serves as a lid) doesn’t get hot. Handles do get hot when grill is used, but cools down fairly fast when the coal burns out.
The only drawback for me is that its grates seem to be harder to clean compared to other grills. But it might be my brain messing with me, because grate cleaning sucks anyway.
So I am very impressed with this unit. Ventilation was good clean up nice and easy as it comes apart. Only issue is the cork lid is not suitable to cover when hot.Recommend for sure
There are no holes or slots that charcoal can escape from. So no potential burnt marks.
As for bbq, this is a 1-3 person grill. If you use the right charcoal it can be hot and effective. I used binchotan and it was great.
It is easy to clean as there are no complicated parts and screws.
However, when the grill gets very hot, the silicone handle gets too hot to touch.
Don’t think for one moment that you can use this indoors. You CANNOT. Even with all windows and doors opened, the smoke smell will linger for days. Plus the carbon monoxide will probably make it your last bbq.
