I have to clean the pump out two or three times every week because it is continuously getting blocked up. I use Greenaway and other pond chemicals to clear the pond too but the pump still isn’t sufficient! My pond isn’t even the maximum volume for this size pump.
I use your product for my fish pond I recently purchase 1 from the fish shop and it wasn’t very good the fish pump I bought from you with excelle
Well my husband and I can honestly say that this is a FANTASTIC product. It came within two days and my husband told me it was extremely easy to fit. We’ve cleaned it out twice as our pond was extremely dirty and WHAT a difference this filter has made. I wish we’d taken photos as I can honestly say the difference it’s made is light and day. It’s worth every single penny! I’m glad we went for this one and not some cheaper ones we had seen. Our pond has never looked better.
Easy to install . Effective in helping to clear the pond of blanket weed. Easy to clean.
Good pump. Pleased so far. Updated from previous model. As 3 times after a year pump stops. Hope this larger model lasts longer. Will update to this post after 1 year.
heses are the best you can buy I have had the 3000 and 6000 now the 9000 they are the best.
The cost to run is very low with good filtration properties

This amazing pump is also a UV filter, fountain and underwater light all in one! It is easy to install and easy to maintain! We have had so many separate pumps and filters but this one is simply the best! Our large pond is now crystal clear. Can only Highly Recommend to all.
Built a pond and wanted to ensure the water was clear whilst running a fountain and a spitter. This was easy to install and does the job perfectly.
Only been in for a week though so I’m not sure how easy it is to clean yet.

A brilliant pond pump- keeps the water clear- nice light under the fountain.
I ordered this item as an open box item, but was not aware that it would be missing the actual fountain head attachments. So I had to try and order those separately which turned in to a pain as the additional items to order were not only and added cost, but were not the right size, so I’m in the process of returning them. I tried to find a way to communicate about the missing attachments, but the only option I had was to return it. So finally I’m keeping it and running the fountain without an attachment so it creates quite a splash like a waterfall, but it’s ok we got used to it. I saved about 30 buying it open box, so it’s a weigh up whether it was worth it as I don’t have the various fountain pattern attachments that would come in a new unopened boxed product.
I HAVE THREE OF THESE PUMPS IN TWO PONDS AND HAVE FOUND THEM EASY TO USE, GOOD TO CLEAR GREEN WATER AND RELATIVELY EASY TO CLEAN, I WOULD ADD THAT BEING ABLE BODIED WOULD HELP WITH CLEANING FILTERS AS YOU WOULD HAVE TO REACH OUT AND LIFT IT OUT OF THE POND. GOT TO MAKE SURE THE UV SEAL IS MAINTAINED OTHERWISE YOU WILL LOSE THAT FUNCTION
Fantastic, have added before pic and pic taken around 3 weeks later. Only the pump/filter used, no clear water additives etc. Easy to clean. Excuse mess around pond – work in progress!
Having left the large pond all winter with no pump or filter, it was in a bad way. In full sun with fish. After 4 days, I can see the bottom, and fish! I cleaned out the washable filters on day 4 (so I did disturb the muck a bit), and it was so easy to clean, took me 10 mins, as opposed to 40 with my last filter. I like the fact you also got sludge buster tablets in the box. Some things to note: you need 2 electric sockets, 1 for UV, 1 for pump. The instructions do not tell you leave the ballast box outside of the water, this is only printed on the box itself. Very pretty at night, and I am hoping it copes as well in the heat of summer. Much less intrusive than our previous system.
This has made the world of difference to our pond. Within a month the water was becoming clear again and we were able to see almost to the bottom of the pond! The amount of dirt and debris it has removed is incredible. The filter itself is so easy to clean, the full process takes no longer than 8-10 mins. Great little adapter heads for it to allow a more gentle fountain when you want. The little light on it gives the pool a lovely effect at night time. Bought this to replace an outdated pump and filter system and I am very happy with the product.
When assembled it’s a little awkward to reintroduce into my pond which is 1.3m deep
It would be useful to have a separate light control so as not to leave it on overnight the only solution would be to fit a timer which is not always possible

Easy to set up. I have a small pond (about 400l) but have a waterfall so needed the 6 in 1, 9000. The pump eventually gave me a wonderfully clear pond which is great for me and my fish! I needed to clean the filters a couple of times over the course of a couple of weeks because of the trapped silt but the filter system did the trick and the filters are easy to clean. The light is effective at night when I have the domed fountain switched on.

We found the pump when our original stopped working after putting this in the pond it cleaned the water & we could see the fish once again,the pond was wood & my husband decided he wanted a larger brick pond,so my son started doing the foundations,then he started to build it he’d never done anything like this before but he turned out to be a natural but the pump we’d just brought wouldn’t be enough so I ordered another one & it looks great with the two fountains,it’s easy to clean when the fountains start to stop the filters need doing,it that easy
These pumps and filters are superb, this my second purchase. Unfortunately the uv bulb is not working in this one after a few months of use, but I can’t see who to contact about it.

What I liked was the sellers response to a problem I had.
The product is great, unfortunately the UV Bulb failed prematurely but the seller resolved this very quickly. The pump is strong for my waterfall. It’s easy to maintain, I like the fact that the fountain is on a ball joint. It’s light weight but well designed and built. Packaged well & delivery was quick.

Yippee! I used this to replace my old Hozelock pump / filter, having looked at the reviews. Pump is not as powerful in terms of head but after only 2 days my pond water looks as clear as a mountain stream & my pond fish are in heaven.
I would highly recommend.

I’ve been a pond builder and owner for 25 years now. When planning my latest venture I did lots and lots of research. Finally chose this product. It was a good price and it arrived early. It was very easy to set up and is now running smoothly in its new home. Time will tell how good it turns out to be but the initial findings are very positive.

As stated, this pump appears to be the solution to my buying 5 Hozelock 9000 pumps (over the years) which always eventualy let in water at the bulb and blew up. Hopfully this will not happen with the way and position of the bulb design but time will tell. Like the underwater light.
This was a great buy. So easy to install. There are loads of videos with instructions. Spotlight and Bell fountain is amazing at night. Just need to see how well it filters the pond

The assembly was straight forward but I did double check the various YouTube tips available. The pump and UV went to work immediately and clarity was noticable after a few hours and I could finally see the bottom of the pond by the next morning. The fish seemed to enjoy seeing further than 2 inches for the first time in a while!
We’re delighted with this pond pump. It’s the best we’ve had. We use Blagdon for everything we need for the pond so it made sense to try the pump. When you throw it in the pond it rights itself……the light on ours is a lovely addition and it has the UV filter. Absolutely recommend it. We always had Hoselock before and this is far superior. Mario
Our pond was very dirty and you couldn’t see the bottom of it at all, even though it’s only 18″ deep.
2 weeks on the water is clear and the bottom is visible again, and so are the fish!
I have needed to take out and the filters and clean them every other day for the past 2 weeks as at present as there is still a lot of muck at the bottom of the pond. However it’s been worth it. Hopefully after another couple of weeks, I won’t need to clean the filters so often.
They are pretty easy to clean with a hosepipe and in this dry weather I hold the filters over the flower bed I want to water and just spray them till they are clean. So no wasted water either. Win Win situation.
The electrical cable could he been 2 metres longer. Fountain not in middle of pond.
It’s easy to use, so long as you have a flat area to pull it out of the water, and you have to take care that you can lift both ends as it can separate pump from filter, at which point you have to take it apart, open the uv case to reattach the connection…..a bit tricky, but who said it would be easy!

Arrived quickly and well packaged Easier to clean and use than my hozelock easiclean filter. You can also easily turn on the separate UV light when adding treatments.
There is plenty of room in the compartment for the media to move around, which keeps it cleaner for longer and encourages bacteria growth.
The lockable lifting handle makes it easier to remove from the water for cleaning.
It’s a compact all-in-one unit. This means that the whole filter box is in the pond. I find that the filter soon clogs (not reducing the flow much, but it’s all over the filter) within a few weeks in summer and needs cleaning. On the other hand, the water is clearer and cleaner (the other pump which is set higher in the water never needs cleaning any more).
Big advantage – this is much easier to take the filters out and clean than the filter box, so I can race out and do a quick clean when previously I had to schedule the job into the day.
Why were the birds upset? Well the Waterfall now runs at twice the pace (two pumps) so the staged surfaces have twice the depth of water. I think they were worried they would be washed away,but they’ve tried it out and decided it’s even better than before. No I haven’t got a little lifebelt ring next to the pond to rescue birds, it is designed with suitable slopes for animals and birds to climb out if they do fall in.
