Bought this product based on reviews expecting big things and I can’t believe the difference it’s made to my pond. The water is crystal clear and I can see right to the bottom of my 750l pond. I bought an oversized filter the 6000 for efficiency and easy maintence.

Nice and easy to set up, works wonders for my pond with the light on a night time
sadly i had to get two plugs,and wasn’t sure what amp i needed for the fuses,as it didn’t stay in the booklet.and as haven’t used the fountain i run a separate hose from the outlet but the attachments for it that comes with the pump are not a tight fit,but overall happy sofar with the pump.

I have a Blagdon half moon pond. The in pond pump is wonderful and does all it says on the label, but hey don’t appear to last too long. I have had two in 3 years, so their shelf life seems to be very short. However both Amazon and Blagdon are wonderful to buy from and the issues rectified quickly.

Fairly fuss free and has now cleared the pond. Like other reviews, the cabling’s a little clunky with the transformer (ballast) being so close to the pump. Didn’t come with a plug but was good for me as I needed to wire it in to a n existing panel. Instructions are a little sparse. I needed to weigh it down with stones as it partially floats. The fountain tubing is not a very snug fit so be careful – mine came off and it sinks!
Superb – very effective and value for money, but pump a little underpowered for stated pond size in terms of water flow and change rate – I would strongly recommend the product, but get one a size bigger than expected from description.

he smaller version should have been suitable but needed cleaning twice a week, even this bigger one needs cleaning more often then it should, i believe the pumps are not powerful enough.
Seems to keep the pound clearer as a water fall. But very pleased. First one I received had wrong fittings, but got a return straight away no problem.

I have a tiny little pond and tried many brands of pump/filter. This is the best so far. Been using for over a month now and pump flow still going strong. Not had to clean filter yet. Water is crystal clear. With previous pumps, I’d be cleaning every other day in the summer! Well worth the money
it takes a couple of times cleaning the filters out but it does a good job pleased with my purchase it has kept my pond clean and clea

Took almost a month to clear our totally clogged and lifeless pond. However it did it and we discovered we still had a large carp alive, if rather ‘visually confused’, living there in!
This is our second pump. it is absolutely brilliant keeping our pond crystal clear, weed free. Only thing is there is no option to turn the spot light off in the evening that comes on when it goes dark… although we are use to it now it is quite fun watching our shubumbkins and stickle back shapes in the water and added bonus the light attracts the midges which in turn feed the fish.
i chose blagdon because i have used the products for years,the item arrived on time, it was easy to assemble and install. i have used throughout the summer and have no complaints,the best thing was it cleared the pond of green/algie very quickly. i would recommend to other pond keepers.
This pump works very well indeed. The wires could be a bit longer to get to the end of the garden. My pond is lovely and clear after a few days.
