Amazing, I would recommend it to anyone, doesn’t pick up background noise, which is perfec
I really like the mic I think it’s smart and stylish and the quality is very good. I haven’t noticed any vibration noises through the legs/feet but you could if you needed use another stand for it. One small feature would have been a mute button. With it muted I could ensure that the mic is silent.
Honestly would recommend this to any streamers who are looking to upgrade from a headset mic! Been using it now for 1.5 years and only had one issue when my cat accidentally half pulled out the usb!
Sounds are pretty decent to the point I was using it for recording voices and sounds for my game!
I’m only using half the features that come with the mic so definitely buy this mic
Firstly don’t waste money getting a pop filter because it looks like it has some sort of filter built in as the sound is a little muffled.
On setting 1 which is how most people will use it i.e. for vlogging, and sound overs the blue microphone is fine, I would say the sound is slightly muffled i.e. could do with more ting to it though I guess one could play around with equalizer settings to up the higher frequencies a little. Apart from the that Blue Mike is good.
The construction is quality, i.e. the base is metal with good sturdy rubber legs, the ball looks good, good size and footprint on the desk so does not get in the way as many mikes do i.e. too talll so block part of the screen, the blue does not do that.
So a good mid range microphone i.e. I paid 50. Just that I would have wanted a slightly more ting to the sound.

Despite previous reviews to the contrary, the model I bought (Snowball) worked perfectly with my Windows 10 laptop, so I can only assume that there have been updates and improvements since reviews <2021.
I bought this specifically to replace the built-in microphone on the laptop for tabletop gaming where players were both present in the room or online via Discord. The microphone picked up all the voices of players present in the room, and there were no complaints from those playing through Discord. There were no reports of feedback from the speakers to the microphone, though we didn't have it on the wider conference room type setting.
Although there will be better, more professional microphones out there for the streaming gamer, this worked perfectly for our needs and would thoroughly recommend for the price and quality.

Great quality little mic. Blue make some very nice high quality studio mics and this has the same solid feel as tbeir high end stuff. Very easy to use – just plug it in!
Sound is a big leap over the standard pc mics or lavalier mics.
Worked for 5 months then the cable connector in the back on the mic stopped working, i tried unplugging and plugging cable back in as mic just stopped working, and all that happened was the cable connector just pushed into the back of the mic instead, im hoping it can replaced only had it for 5 months. Before it stopped working i was thrilled with it, worked well and was very easy to set up, however not impressed with how long its lasted, but hoping mine is just faulty. Turned out mine was just faulty. Was replaced with a brand new one directly from supplier. They were very helpful and didn’t take long to sort out.

Got this for a podcast I’ve started and have to say I love it.
Clear as a bell, to these ears broadcast quality, and absolutely idiot proof. Plugs straight in, no fuss or faffing around. Great little stand too although not suitable for what I wanted. I then bought the Innogear desk mic stand and they were prefect together.
This particular mic has three settings. This is good for a number of difference setting. Very impressed. Works straight of the box

My step son very happy with the microphone arrived when expected as well
I purchased this mic after a student asking me to turn up my mic ( was using iphone headset).
The use of this and a software mixing desk has made training classes so much easier. I did look at a number of you tube videos to get a good idea on the mic and one thing I would say is that many people say that you need the mic within 6 inches for good pickup, well Amazon reader, this is not true, I have worked with the Snowball about 1 foot away and had no issues with quality drop.
I would recommend getting a boom arm as well, makes it easier to position the Snowball rather than use the supplied stand.
Don’t get me wrong, the supplied stand is good, I just wanted more room on the desk.
Tldr : well worth the money.

I like it, clear sound and does the job.
Mine was discounted because of some sort of damage to outside of the product. I’d assumed a scratch, or a dent, or some sort of blemish. But I’m yet to find anything of the sort…bonus.
Great microphone. Sound quality is outstanding. Build quality is solid. Bought in 2015.
Comes with a tripod, which I don’t use. As I found the microphone was a little too high and blocked my monitor view slightly.
I use it on my desk, sat on a bottle cap to ensure it stays still.
Ensure you have a sufficiently powered USB port that can support this, as it doesn’t come with any means to power externally.

Very easy to use. Using Windows 10 I simply plugged in and it works. I bought for using for online tutorials after my headset disintegrated with use.

Brilliant microphone, it is very sensitive but the audio quality is fantastic. This will help me with my voice acting work.
I am using this for on-line church services, providing musical items on violin and tin whistle. It works fine with the violin but with the tin whistle, there is pitching and fading in and out at the recipient’s end. The strange thing is, if I use my tablet for this purpose with the tin whistle, it’s fine. I am fairly certain this is due to the conferencing app. which is designed for speech and not the microphone but it is somewhat disappointing. Well made and ideal for most without spending silly money. I have since found by disabling the auto gain in the app.the music quality is much better and the fading issue has gone.

Works well, I use it for TV broadcasts as well as a vodcast I record and it works perfectly. You do need it close to you so it won’t be ‘off camera’. Requires close proximity. Great product.
The setup of this mic is easy. Just plug and play. The directional mic settings are good. I tend to always leave it on 1. I did have to buy the accessory for it to stand up though.
The only downside was likely caused by me but the stand that slots into the bottom caused the mic to split slightly. Didn’t affect it’s performance though.

I had to snap this one up as soon as it came in stock. I’ve been using this for 2 days now…and OMG! The sound quality is absolutely amazing. It’s as crisp as it can get. I used to use my MacBook mic prior to this to create tutorials. There’s a day and night difference between the two. I found that setting no. 1 works best for my needs.
I’ve been using this microphone for the past 4 years without any issues. The sound is perfect for gaming and vocal recordings. Would buy for musical recordings but it’s perfect for everything else.

Great sound and easy installation. The only problem i have notice is that provided stand does not hold mic well, it doesn’t seem to be secure enough and it stays lose, it could be just fault in mine but overall great mic especially for beginners to use for various recordings and all
Purchased this microphone a few years back when I had just got started into video editing and recording voice over for various projects.
First impressions –
Colour – Silver
Design: Sleek, shiny, compact – The microphone itself has a some what balanced weight to it, not too heavy, but also not light enough to feel cheap (given the price!)
The somewhat vintage like design looks very nice, once on the tripod provided, in most technology surroundings (computer, laptop, office).
Setting up/ ease of use –
Process: Attached the microphone to the tripod provided is as simple as screwing on a bottle cap on a bottle on drink – twist until tight, simple.
The USB cable provided is lengthy enough for most desk or other swing arm attachments.
Settings on the microphone are a simple switch on the back depicted by what is desired in terms of sound.
Audio –
Quality – Very good, would even say great at times, clear audio through and through! Some slight clipping with audio (perhaps due to shouting a little too loud on my end to test the peaks) but this is to be expected with almost all microphones so that’s a relatively invalid comment in aspects.
In terms of peaking I found it quite rare, if it was to peak at all during general vocalising or any kind. It picks up the lows, and it picks up the highs, and it does it well! That’s the main focus, if it does it well, and it sure does!
Pros:
– The compact and light weight design is perfect for smaller desk setups and tripod/ swing arm attachments.
– The ease of setup is wonderful, just plug in and start recording!
– The simple switch on the back for desired sound recording is perfect for beginners and can be changed in a pinch
Cons:
– Choice in settings on the back of the microphone is limited. The minus decibel setting is very quiet, unfortunately this cannot be adjusted unless in post production (raise the sound up) this can cause distortion in quilting though!
Overall:
– The microphone is perfect for beginners/ intermediates looking for a cheap and affordable way of starting off their sound recording projects! Clear and precise audio.
I would have liked more versatility with the settings but, for the price, even having the option to change sound input is a great feature.
If you’re looking for a place to start your YouTube, voice over, music project, and are a little strapped for money then this is the microphone for you! I have not seen nor been able to compare to other microphones within this price bracket during the time of this review.
You won’t find better for this price range…
BUT…
If for instance you are able to spend a little bit extra then I would suggest the Blue Yeti
If not, this microphone will do just the job that’s needed, and perhaps a little bit more!

Using this microphone to record multiple people around a table for a podcast. It picks up the same levels in all direction, which is exactly why we picked it. Would recommend this to anyone for a similar scenario
I use it for making MP3s for my hypnotherapy clients. A much better sound quality than anything I had before. It’s best to put it in an open grocery box lined internally with acoustic foam, and have it about twelve inches in front of you.

I was worried about buying this because of the mixed reviews. But surprisingly the sound is very crisp, can easily remove background noise using apps like Audacity. The only problem I have is the bright red light at the front (should have been at the back) and the adjustment is quite poor. If I want to raise the mic higher, it doesn’t stay put at that height because the screw isn’t getting tight enough. That’s the only reason why I gave it 4*, other than that sound quality is amazing.

Very good microphone for the price. Have had it for some years now
Only issue is that the wire at the back is very use. I heard there is a fix by taking it apart but I don’t want to do that so I just try not to move i
Bought this microphone for podcasting with multiple people, it’s perfect. Stand is adjustable so you can have it quite tall or standard depending on your set up. Quality was clear and improved with a good editing software to input to. Omnidirectional feature works fantastically, though background environmental noise was picked up so maybe look in to accessories if that’s a concern.

Easy to use, does what it says on the tin. Have used it for voice over work and recording sound on video.
Was surprised at the size and quality (weight)
Good sound, not cheap but worth the extra
Bought as a present for my son and he is delighted with it said it was the best microphone he has ever see
Not the most sensative mic out there but will do nicely in a pinch and a good upgrade for those still using built in mics.
I absolutely love this mic. It’s fairly cheap but feels professional and when playing games my friends always notice my sound quality and ask me what mic I have. Would recommend to anyone who wants to start streaming or anything of that so
As a Microphone it is great, but please note that since it is a USB microphone it will probably not be able to take advantage of your computers sound software (for noise cancelling and such) as it will not run through the sound card (this means that any music or soud that I have playing from my speakers will be picked up and sent through the Microphone, whereas since my old Microphone was plugged into my sound card, my sound card software was able to isolate and remove anything coming from my speakers, since the soundcard was sending it to the speakers.).
However I believe you can get seperate sound managing software to control the sound going to your speakers and from your mic, which can fix this if it is an issue for you.

i bought this mic as a replacement for my Blue Yeti which has been broken/faulty for some time. after looking at getting an xlr condenser mic i decided to try out this Blue Snowball. i purchased one that was used and from the amazon warehouse as there was 10+ knocked off the price. it said there was slight cosmetic damage to the item but upon receiving the item it is clear that there is no cosmetic damage at all and it has simply just been resealed in its original box. tested and fully working amazing quality and works great with Logic Pro X. highly recommend!
For how much this microphone costs, the sound quality is great. The switch on the back to change modes allows for more versatility than similarly priced microphones. The stand is plastic and feels a little cheap but fulfils its job well enough. The light on the front is kind of annoying and I would rather it was moved to the back at least. Overall, recommended.

Nice mic ideal for gaming or you tube vids very nice chrome stand and can mount on arm would buy agai
Been using this microphone for 3 years now, great microphone for the price, the quality is excellent. I’ve been using it for communicating online (such as Skype/Discord) and recording gameplay. It does pick up background noise in however, but it’s something I’ve overlooked. It has 3 settings, although I only use one. You may be better off buying the iCE version to save a bit of money if you’re going to use it for communication.
I brought this for 55 back then, for the quality of the microphone, this was a very good value for money if you’re not looking to spend too much on one.
It’s on the left of the photo next to my laptop screen, works perfectly.
A little bigger and heavier than I expected, a sign of great build quality.
Works a treat, well worth the money.
his is a magical mic to do your recordings. well worth the money, its great for classical music to give a nice true sound. thank you all very kindly
a brilliant microphone, very good quality and links nicely to my iPad with an adapter.
This mic is fantastic much better quality over built in headset mic’s
Decided to treat myself as wanted a more ‘professional’ sound and have been very impressed. No issues from sound being picked by near equipment but one word of warning it can pick up noise from a great distance if people are talking while you are recording.
Its a snowball and everyone knows that a Snowball sounds great and is at an expert price. Would recommend over the other cheaper version of the snowball however it does not beat a Blue Yeti.
Amazing quality microphone. Feels very well built, plugs in and works straight away. Replaced a modmic with this and haven’t looked back. Also doubles as a guitar microphone
When I talk very close to this mic, my mates cry in agony because it sounds like i’m actually in there ears.
Its perfect for ASMR and just generally makes you sound good.
Just a note, dont buy this if you plan on being a little far away from it.

Amazing Microphone with clear sound and does a good job cancelling out background noises, I hook this up to my pc and cortana and my friends hear me clearly without any muffle. I also plug this into my PS4 it also works to its perfection. Great microphone 5 Stars
Perfect Mic for anything on youtube or any videos that you need to narrate for. Also isn’t the worst for a budget singer, only complaint is it’s a little prone to falling off the stand as it does not connect very tightly. But a small flaw in a great produc
This may appear to be a pricey mic but it is actually the cheapest of one of the good ones, to be honest cheap is not something you should call it as it doesn’t work like one. It’s built well, looks good and works really well. The omnidirectional setting can work a little too well depending on the noises you have around you. For instance I’ve used it to record a room of people, works great but it also picked up the dog outside and the occasional bird that got too close outside. Most houses have decent windows, mine doesn’t. Either way, easily recommend.
It’s a good Microphone. I do think there’s much better ones out there, but it’s good for a starter and cheap compared to others
I really love this mics sound quality, crisp, clear and couldn’t be happier. the only thing I will say is that the stand that comes with it has a plastic shaft and threads. I found this odd considering the rest is made of metal and plastic threads tend to break so I was not too happy about this. Having said that if you’re careful im sure it would be alright for a while. I would absolutely recommend this one as its a great price and a great mic.
Very high quality microphone. A bit in the large side for streaming. May be better suited to a boom arm to allow for better positioning but the sound quality is fantastic and can pick up the sound of a dropped pi
bought this a while back for my partner as a present as he wanted to try and do streaming videos for games he plays and the sound quality is amazing. i bought it on sale at the time but i would definitely repurchase this at full price if it ever needed to be replaced, unless ofc if it was on sale again!
Bought this to use on Skype calls instead of my laptop mic. This has made a massive difference to the quality of the call. I would say that there are two versions of this mic though. This one has 3 different modes, basically makes it useful for conference calls…. and there is a cheaper model with only 1 mode… In theory just for one person singing / speaking into it.
I have the 3 mode version and it’s great… but I only use one mode.
Very high quality audio, with the simplicity of USB plug and play.
Product is reasonably heavy, feels sturdy and is pleasing to look at too. The base is adjustable to a small extent (probably 2 or 3 inches height difference), while the microphone itself has an adjustable ball socket underneath so it can be positioned and angled easily.
This can be mounted to a microphone boom stand as well.
Only downside is it has no built in mute function, so you’ll need to use software to mute it (or just unplug it)
Good quality sound, I have researched a lot before buying. Definitely good value for beginners (vs fairly expensive Yeti).
I’d be better with the basic version as I use only the standard setting “1” (other ones are desirable only if you play with your band).
On the other hand, this version should have a better flexibility on its arms but it’s a shame the mic is set on a single height (it would have been great to have 1-3 different positions, I use some books beneath as my table is a little low).
FANTASTIC! For the price you get a very easy to use and super-cool looking omnidirectional mic that I plugged in to my Macbook and had working instantly. It has 3 settings: 1) for podcasting 2) for music gigs and 3) for large conferences etc. There is very little background hiss (easily removed completely in Garageband or Audacity etc) and for less than 70 you really can’t go wrong. I’m so glad I didn’t opt for something pricier as this, despite reservations before it arrived, does everything I want and more.
One criticism: it was delivered at almost 10pm. Bit weird.
Good microphone, allows people 2 hear the audible chocolate that is my voice. Sadly they do hear the cars driving past in the background
Let me preface this by stating that I am not an audiophile nor am I using this for professional purposes. That being said the quality of recording on this mic seems excellent when compared to other, cheaper, options I have gone with in the past. I play online games and use this in combination with a pair of earphones as the main use. In addition I have used this to capture ambient sounds at various points as well as Skype etc. For all purposes it’s performed very well. It is well packaged and the build quality is excellent with an aesthetic I enjoy. Would most definitely recommend. I picked this up on a sale – it’s is likely overspecced for my use – so bare in mind if buying for a similar use at full price.

It is well packaged and the build quality is excellent with an aesthetic I enjoy. Would most definitely recommend. I picked this up on a sale – it’s is likely overspecced for my use – so bare in mind if buying for a similar use at full price.
I opted for a good quality microphone for a low price and this was the one for me. I needed something that would record my voice in good crisp quality for podcasts and then as well something that was able to record a drum kit. This was able to do both. The blue snowball has three settings that come in useful for different situations. Really pleased and its lasted me a long time with no troubles.

Top Notch quality, my partners son is very picky about the type of microphone he likes to use for his gaming, sometimes some of his friends could previously hear him muffled on his headset and some headsets picked up the noise of fans from his computer however this little beauty has the perfect quality of sound the only downside is a little light which he covers with bluetack.

Pros:
High quality mic.
Relatively low price tag.
3 sound presets.
Almost no cons.
Cons:
Sound recording unstable sometimes, see Note.
Conclusion:
Recommended for YouTube, if you are a beginner. However, do plan to upgrade to the better Blue Yeti (more expensive) once your channel grows.
Note:
Unstable sound recording might well be caused by the USB socket in the system. It is likely to be the case as other peripherals connected to the USB are unstable as well.
Really good microphone, it looks really good, has a great design and is actually quite big in person, the quality is really clear and there is no static sound, it also picks up abit of background noise, for best performance you need software to edit the sound, the mic after edited properly sounds like a top of the line pro mic, so take a look at a couple of videos on youtube and make it sound even better.
