Just arrived. Ordered yesterday evening arrived at 11 this morning. Easy to partner with phone. The sound is brilliant and loud enough. Obviously cannot comment yet on battery life but as everything else is excellent, I am pretty confident. I will put it in the bathroom when showering and take it with me when away from home. Small, fairly typical, user manual. I normally get the online one but could not find it. It would be nice if Amazon provided a user manual link on the product page.

The volume on my ipad when using face time and meetings etc is very low for me because I don’t have good hearing. Got this connected in 1 minute and tested it. Perfect. Nice sound when playing music and plenty loud enough when played with volume set below 50%. I am well pleased with this

I’ve had a Boombar for quite a few years but decided to get this speaker as a replacement.
Sound quality and build quality is really good for the price. It feels substantial as it’s not light, lile the Boombar which prevents it from moving around the shelf when in use.
It says 10hrs battery life, I’m sorry more like 4hrs. Put it on charge when I got it, the light went out to say charged. When I started using it for the first time it said 80% about 4hrs later after number of periods of about 30mins at a time it stopped. But I still like this speaker.
For 20 this is ridiculously good. Been fed up with these cheap products with insane reviews but i can assure you this is genuine. Quality audio and waterproof at a price this low is rare. Also got it plugged into my tv with an AUX so have a bluetooth speaker and a crazy good soundbar. Definitely get this if you’re like me and dont wanna spend 100+ on a branded speaker of similar quality.

I bought this Bluetooth box so I could listen to the music on my phone without putting in my earphones,, And believe me when I say I was really really pleasantly surprised when I connected it and the sound that came out of it was amazing,,it sounded great,not tinny like you’d expect for the money I payed for it,,I could turn it up loud and it still sounded great plus the battery life on it is great,,20hrs you get out of it without charging it,,,well between 18-20,,I thought it was so good that I immediately ordered another one for my mum so she could listen to her Anne Murry and Connie Frances songs once I’d downloaded them to her phone and now she too is a fan of it and bought 2 more for birthday presents
This is a great little speaker it’s easy to pair with mobile phone and the sound is great, it has great bass and can be nice and loud. I bought for my wife now I would like one.
Edit: battery life is very short even after a full charge. Lucky to get half a days usage.
I’ve been listening to audiophile grade components for years so have stayed clear of bluetooth speakers and such like. However, I wanted something to listen to music on at work. I trawled through the reviews and plumped on the Tribit as it garnered some favour amongst purchasers.
I’m staggered at how good this sounds. For such a small dual speaker setup it gives a mighty performance. The bass is a tad overblown but you can forgive that.
Just a shame I’ve not got room for a second as a pair would give a top drawer performance.
This is an amazing speaker for an amazing price. Just buy it, you can not go wrong.

I bought this to replace an old speaker that I was very happy with, but had seen better days. For the price I was expecting it to be similar in sound quality. I was wrong. The quality of this speaker is exceptional for its size with really surprisingly good bass and crisp trebles. Battery life could be better, but it’s acceptable. Highly recommend.
Connects easily to my phone with good volume and decent sound quality, use it in my car as my stereo is old and it has a good battery life, lasting for long road trips without needing charged

This speaker for around 20 is an excellent buy. It has both Bluetooth and AUX input, with the bonus of waterproofing and USB-C charging. I do wish the battery life was a bit longer.

The Surf is often on sale for around 23 or less, sometimes even under 20. At that price point, despite the poor battery life, it really is well worth the money for those not needing a music powerhouse. Worth getting two if you watch films etc on a laptop or tablet.
I got my first one when I got a MacBook Air, I really liked it for YouTube podcasts: voices are clear and the speaker is really light and comfortable in the hand, or pocket, when moving rooms. The pause/play button works with YouTube and BBC Sounds, if on a YouTube playlist, then it’s possible to skip tracks or go backwards.
The power on/off button just needs a brief press and the speaker powers up and connects quickly. When I got an iPad Mini 6, I found switching between MBA and iPad very quick and easy with a press of the Bluetooth button and connecting in the Bluetooth section of MBA or iPad. With the iPad, I get a little battery icon, next to the headphone icon.
When a video’s audio and sound are in sync, there is almost no noticeable latency. The Surf is capable of producing a lot of volume, this is mostly useful for audio sources that aren’t very loud: you will never struggle to hear for lack of volume.
The Surf will turn itself off after maybe 15 minutes of inactivity; it does so without a sound, making it a lovely speaker to fall asleep with.
Bluetooth connection stability is really good, I get very few (if any) dropouts. I did connect to my old Windows laptop which is Bluetooth 4 point something and discovered that I had to control the volume form the speaker as I couldn’t from the laptop. This is not the first time I have had this experience with a Bluetooth 5 product connected to Bluetooth 4.
Strangely, when poking around in my MBA’s sound preferences, I noticed that the onscreen stereo slider was all the way to the left, moving the slider to the middle did give a little more bottom end. I was very glad I discovered this, as it came into play getting a stereo pair working.
This speaker is not something I would reach for to listen to music. As other reviews will tell you, the battery life is pretty poor; I did try a Tribit Max Sound Plus, which was a far superior sound for music but had too much latency for my needs and I already had a stereo pair of EarFun UBOOMs, which are fantastic for music.
I bought a second Surf as having a second one charged and ready to take over was more appealing to me than plugging in a power bank to maintain portability. I was also really curious to find out what a stereo pair of Surfs would sound like.
I did have some difficulty getting the stereo pair working and getting what I thought should be the left speaker to be the left speaker. I had to go back into my MBA’s sound settings and I found that slider all the way to the left again, centring the slider got the stereo working.
I had the speakers on side tables, either side of an armchair, roughly four feet apart, with some toe in, my ears about six feet away, when reclined in the chair seemed to be the sweet spot. It’s possible to get the speaker to sit on its rear feet, so it’s pointing slightly upwards. It’s a bit tricky to do and needs a flat surface or something under the speaker to prop it up. You may or may not like the difference it makes but it does make a difference. The Max Sound Plus was much easier to stand on its rear feet.
Listening to music for the first time in stereo, I can state that it is far more than twice as good as listening to one speaker. Voices and acoustic instruments are very clear, stereo imaging really good but bass guitars have no presence and drums are dull HOWEVER I was expecting some additional latency to be introduced, as that’s what happens with my UBOOMS when paired up (one speaker is a master, sending a signal to a slave, hence added latency).
Being surprised at how low the latency was as a stereo pair, I watched some scenes from The Expanse on Amazon Prime.
Wow.
I have watched countless hours of films on a single bluetooth speaker, but never before a stereo pair. So much more immersive. The Surf’s natural sound signature of clear vocals and weak bass made for an ideal late night viewing experience, without resorting to headphones. Latency was very slight, if you’re looking for it, then it was there however the latency was so low that it is not distracting. I’m saying that as some one set up with Aptx Low Latency, for headphones.
I am really impressed with the stereo pair for films and will be using them often in the future, when I don’t want to use one of my headphone options, or I have company.
Brilliant speaker, the sound is great and it’s easy to use, I’d recommend it to anyone who is looking for a reasonably priced Bluetooth speaker.
Very good product for the cost. fairly easy to set up and use in stereo when using two. Only downside is that Bluetooth range is only about 5 meters
I gave this 4 stars for sound quality purely because it gets a little ‘muddy’ at high volumes from my computer (it doesn’t distort, just seems a little muffled and overly rich in tone).
However, I’m VERY HAPPY with it overall!
I use the speaker for work it’s compact but the sound is crisp I like the speaker a lot built sturdy and connectivity is really easy to set up

Bought one for teenage daughter who turned her nose up first as it’s not a trendy name. But she loved it and took it everywhere and I can vouch it’s very loud. Good sound quality as such a good price bought another one for young lad to use on his screen / Xbox. I would 100% recommend.
I absolutely love this speaker, it is exactly what i was looking for. We just wanted a speaker to use in a minibus to football matches and this is so loud it doesnt even need to be full volume for the whole bus to hear it. Other speakers we had tried before it come nowhere near. Didn’t expect it to be as good as it is considering the low price but i am so pleased with it.
The only downside so far is the battery life. When i plug mine in to charge, the red light comes on as it says it should in the manual. However the light then goes straight off within a minute every time, the manual says the light should only go off once its fully charged. As a result i have no idea when it is fully charged as it does this even when the speaker is out of battery.
Twice so far i have charged it up and both times i got exactly 4 hours of playtime with it instead of the advertised 10 hours. Obviously i cant be 100% sure it was fully charged due to my issue with the light, but i left it charging quite a long time both times so im sure it would’ve been fully charged.
However even if it is just 4 hours playtime i get with it i am still so pleased with it. I have emailed the company to ask about the issue with charging it just incase i do have a faulty one so i’ll update this when i hear back from them.
I would highly recommend the speaker regardless though!
I have a Bose Soundlink Mini and an old KS Hive which I use for Spotify while in the garage. When the micro USB port in the KS eventually gave up I was in the market for a cheap speaker. A bit of research led me to the Tribit. When I unboxed it I was impressed with its weight, feel and design. When I fired it up I was blown away. The sound quality is amazing considering its price. Neither my wife nor myself are audiophiles, but she had a point when she asked why we spent so much on the Bose. She would have been happy with this thing playing away in the kitchen. I’ll not say that it’s is good as, but it’s a great sound and more than adequate for the job.
The weight is a giveaway, this little unit is solidly built, and heavy for it’s size. I’ve had a few Bluetooth speakers over the years and this rivals the 100 + models. The sound quality is amazing. really pleased

Bought this to replace my Rokono F200 which was on it’s last legs after a few years of solid use. Initial impressions were good – build quality seems solid and overall better than the Rokono. Bluetooth connectivity is fast and battery life seems good. The only negative I can find is struggles a bit with bass. The Rokono was quite punchy base wise for it’s size, whereas the Tribit distorts base at only a moderate sound level. Overall the sound quality is good, but the base could be better. For under 20 quid though I’m happy enough.

I use them in my bedroom to listen to podcasts, I have them connected together in stereo mode.

Got this speaker yesterday and fully charged as instructed, had it on at work for radio and it died after 6 and a half hrs, not a bad speaker but the 10 hours playback is a lie, couldn’t even get me through an 8 hr shif

Nice little speaker, good sound quality and very easy to use, the Bluetooth could be better, but I am happy with the speaker.
So far not bad. The battery life is a great selling point, it seems to last a very long time, sound quality is very good, just enough bass to make the sound crisp. My only concern is the Bluetooth connectivity, according to the manual (online) the speaker will reconnect with the last paired item. So far this hasn’t happened for me, and I have to re-pair with my transmitter every time. Not much of a grumble I know, but irritating.

The sound is great for such a small speaker. I use it for cardio training and listen to rock music. I don’t know what I was expecting for this price, but my expectations have certainly been exceeded. You won’t be disappointed with one of these, for the price.
I bought a pair of these Tribit XSound Surf speakers for 34 (17each) and couldn’t be happier. They pair in true stereo and give a fantastic sound. I tested them against a proper hifi system (Dali Specktor LSs) and the sound difference was negligible. The pairing processes is very easy and they remain paired, ie they automatically pair every time you switch them both on, even telling you which are the left & right channels.
A downside could be the max 8 hour battery life, but that’s not a problem for me. I would also have liked the ability to stand them in an upright position, but the round-ended design doesn’t allow for this.
Great sound, definitely 5 stars at the price, highly recommended.
Well I needed a speaker and opted for this one. It looks great and has a really decent weight to it. It feels very high quality too. The sound is extremely good too. Its definitely worth looking at. You can even pair 2 for stereo sound and I’m going to order another to do that.
Firstly let me just say this is cracking good value and how it generates the volume and clarity it achieves is amazing. However, I ended up returning mine because I realised I’m fussy about audio quality and it wasn’t great for me. I needed to spend more and probably get something bigger.
It took me a while to work out why I didn’t like it because it’s a very competent speaker providing exceptional clarity. I realised the issue was there was no warmth to the sound. I found myself track jumping where I’d normally listen through to the end. There was only one way to summarise it. I found it irritating instead of engaging.
If you want extreme portability and great value but your not too fussy get this one.
I’ve now bought the Tribit Stormbox instead and I love it.
I can’t believe that this small speaker can produce such a powerful sound. It paired easily with my phone and sounds very good indeed. My phone, a basic model a Motorola G7 Power has a built in equalizer which enhances the sound even more though even without using that the Tribit Speaker sounds really really good. some are saying the battery life could be better but even at around ten hours it suits me, especaially for my first adventure into Bluetooth speakers.
For 17 the cost of a few coffees or beers you can’t go wrong.

The speaker is small, compact with long-lasting battery life. It comes with A to USB-C charging cable and AUX input option. The build quality is also great. matt silicon touch on the back and metal grill on the front.
Not as good sound quality as I had hoped but for the price good value
So I wasn’t expecting a great deal from this speaker, i bought it to replace an elderly Belkin BT speaker that I bought for camping and the Tribit waaaay exceeds my expectations. I have given it a fairly thorough workout over the last couple of hours playing a few tracks from ‘Origin of Symetry’ by Muse, a fair bit of ‘noughties’ dubstep by Skream, Benga, The Bug etc and finished the battery off with the live Mischa Maisky recording of the Bach Cello Suite No.1 in G and I’m genuinely astonished, so much so that I’ve just bought another one for stereo pairing.
The Belkin sounds like an old mobile phone in a Pringles tube in comparison and the Tribit is almost comparable to my old LG soundstage.
Don’t expect the earth and you’ll find it’s a bargain.
My speaker came today and I love it. I was worried about sound quality, I like it loud but with bass and this speaker did not disappoint! I gave the battery life 5 stars but I can’t comment on battery life yet but the speaker is a great price and highly recommend it!
Remarkable sound quality from such a small box of tricks. Everything about this speaker feels right, most importantly the rich bass and decent treble are spot on, small enough to take anywhere and the IP rating should see it last a good few years, can’t fault it.
When used as a pair the sound quality is ok but one alone is poor. I was slightly disappointed. Sound is overtly bassy with little midrange unless you spend a lot of time fiddling with graphic equaliser settings. Overall reasonable quality for its size and value for money ok. I guess one cannot expect too much fir the ptice and size.
I haven’t really got a bad word to say about it.

I love this speaker. Exactly what we wanted to take on holiday. Small enough to tuck away in a bag, easy to connect to Bluetooth, sound quality is good. I had another brand that wasn’t great when you left the room/wandered away from the speaker; the connection would get lost. This speaker is great: I had my phone charging upstairs and I wandered downstairs into the kitchen and the sound was still perfect.
Really pleased with this for the price I dont think you could beat it, battery last most of the day and the sound quality is spot on, feels nice in the hand and easy to pair, makes a good add on to my echo dot.

Great sound but my Alexa echo dot when connected to the speaker via Bluetooth, cuts off the echo dot, so you only get the sound from either or.. not both. It won’t work with your echo dots everywhere sound setting. Works well with my Samsung S7 though.
Let me just say this is not quite hi fi quality but it is great for under 30 , almost as good a sound as things three times the price and there is enough bass for it not to sound tinny . I play it via bluetooth or just plug an iPod classic into it .Its a great companion for taking to work outside .Battery lasts about a day continuous use but easy to charge and its small .
Received my speaker on Wednesday 12th May. Charged it up straight away which may I add it does charge to full power pretty quickly. When you connect the speaker to your phone by Bluetooth, there is a very useful speaker power level indicator beside the Bluetooth icon showing the speaker battery level.
The battery life using the speaker at about 3/4 full volume is very good. It lasted a good 7 hours.
Bluetooth connectivity is excellent and uninterrupted.
The sound quality is excellent. Very clear indeed and excellent bass response also

Such a great speaker, I was after a new Bluetooth speaker after the connection was broken on my old device, unfortunately the price had gone up considerably so I couldn’t get the exact speaker.
I saw this speaker, read the specifications & took a chance as I needed a decent speaker to use either at work or at home, the fact that it was water resistant, not testing the waterproof part, the sound is brilliant, very clear, the bass is very good, it is very powerful considering its size, I listen to heavy music on occasion and it didn’t falter at all, well worth the money, You can spend more if you wanted to but if you’re on a budget it’s more than worth it.
Bought as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend – he’s very pleased with it and it’s still working great several months on. He mostly uses it for watching tv/movies on the laptop. It has a really clear sound – not muffled or tinny. Fantastic battery life. Bargain for the price – on par with more expensive Bluetooth speakers I’ve owned.
I bought 2 of these to listen in stereo and I was not disappointed . The sound you get from these 2 small speakers is nothing short of amazing . Beyond my wildest dreams for such a small amount of money .
This Speaker is excellent, amazing sound quality, great build quality. Feels sturdy, well made and premium. I have had a small issue with the charging cable provided and the Tribit Customer Serivce team have been absolutely amazing and extremely prompt in resolving the issue. Kudos to them for an amazing product and great value for money.
This is the first Bluetooth speaker I’ve had so can’t compare to anything else. That said – I think it’s brilliant! It really packs a punch and the sound quality is very good. Love it!
My Tribit started making random sounds, when it was off, due to (I think?) another bluetooth device that was near it. I contacted Tribit and they sent a new speaker within a week as a replacement, which I have had no issues with. Great little, solid speaker which I would recommend.
I love this chunky little speaker for when I gardening, and my Android isn’t loud enough.
Solidly built, rugged enough to sit in the grass, it’s perfect for my needs.
I toyed with spending more, but at this price it won’t be the end of the world if it gets left out in the rain, by mistake!
I’ve only had this speaker a few days, and only used it a couple of times so far, so cannot comment on the battery life. The sound quality is impressive however, more than adequate in my opinion. Very happy with this compact speaker…
Felt compelled to write a review of this little speaker.
My JBL Flip 3 had stopped holding its charge so needed a portable replacement.
My expectations were low considering the price BUT this is something of a bargain.
Sound is detailed & clear with good (controlled) bass.
3hr charge for 10hrs of use isn’t the best, but the quality of this speaker for the price is amazing.
Purchasing another to enjoy the stereo pairing function.
Highly recommended!

I bought it specifically to plug into a projector which I’m using in my bedroom.
The sound on the projector is very very poor so this would definitely going to be an upgrade I’m actually really pleased with the sound quality it may be a touch on the bassy side however the sound quality is comparable to my UE boom speaker which is about 80 I pick this up for 25! Would 100% recommend
Easily portable, usb C charging and decent sound quality/volume. Solid and water resistant enough to have it playing while in the shower (no, not in with you). Got it for 20 and worth every penny.
This bluetooth speaker is excellent in sound, looks and for the price.
It was heavier than I thought but it is no criticism in the negative sense.
I would highly recommend it as a gift for someone or for yourself as I was well impressed with it.
Excellent little speaker. Have ordered another to check out stereo sound. After several attempts I finally managed to pair them and bluetooth them and am very happy with the resultant sound. Would recommend with a little patience.
However, after less than a year one of the speakers I purchased has become faulty. I am unable to switch it off and the blue light just keeps flashing. I am unable to return because the purchase is more then six months old and I have been unable to contact the seller.
Amazing value for money was willing to pay a bit more but the reviews suggested I didnt need to.
Good build quality
Purchased 2 speakers because I wanted stereo sound . Once I worked out how to link them it’s pretty easy.
Only issue is the bluetooth pairing does drop out quite a lot if there any obstructions, even at close range, So I cant place them where I wanted too.
My UE mini booms were a bit better in this regard but they are no longer supported and they were double the price.
I needed a speaker for gardening and in the poly tunnel as i kept pulling out my earphones by accident while working.
I was very surprised by the quality of the sound.
Battery is more than enough around 8-11 hours depending how loud you set it, this is more than enough for a days session. Fully covered in rubber and waterproof, what is not to like!
My first ever BT speaker and is worth every penny, I am very happy with it!
I got this after seeing reviews from a reputable tech youtube reviewer and I am not disappointed. It produces an incredible sound, nothing gets distorted. There are some sounds in music that I didn’t even know existed until I ran them through these speakers. those 12W are real 12W!
I haven’t used the speaker at full volume yet. 50% is enough to fill any room even when using them outside.
I haven’t tested the waterproofness of it all but like I said, others have and I have no reason to doubt them.
Honestly, one of the best thing about them is that they charge with USB-C (thank goodness most manufacturers are using this now).
My only experience with Tribit before was the larger, more expensive Maxsound Plus – a speaker I loved, but this could be ever better as it really ticks the boxes for a very portable yet still very decent speaker. At home I’ll always go for the Ankers but when out and about I can see this becoming the new speaker than I go for as it’s nice to find something with such a good sound in such a good package. The battery life is great too (I’ve had close to 10 hours on a full charge at medium volume), and the fact it’s waterproof means it’s a great little festival speaker. Charging is via USB-C (as should be standard these days) and there’s an aux in port too.
As I said the sound is great – no it won’t give you that rumble that the Motion+ will but it’s a fraction of the size, and still surprisingly loud – it has no issues filling a small room and certainly isn’t lacking in bass – the bass has been boosted but not at the expense of other frequencies. My only critisism in that at higher volumes the sound doesn’t sound as full but you can’t expect miracles from something this small.
As I mentioned earlier you can pair two of these for proper wireless stereo, and I’m very tempted to pick up another at some point even though that slightly negates the ultra-portability of it! Still I guess it’s only just two pockets instead of one.
All in all a great speaker for it’s tiny size – alongside the Motion+ this is up there with my favourites.

I did have one that suddenly sounded strange, but after messaging the seller they immediately replaced it within days. The seller was so helpful, polite and fast at sorting out my issue. The customer service has been amazing and just proved to me that there are really good sellers on here.
I have been asked to turn my music down by my son as he cannot hear his fortnite friends with his gaming headphones on….. an added bonus of drowning out a 12 year old on Fortnite!!!

Proved very useful when working in the garden as the speaker is coated in rubber so quite resilient to knocks and water. Also confident to use it in the bathroom when showering or bathing, no concerns with water damage.
One of the best things about these is that once paired up they will remain paired even when switched off so when you switch both on again they automatically connect again themselves. and keep their left and right stereo channels
You buy two for a reason and not needing to repair them together each time and reconnect your phone or computer is a huge selling point and should be shouted about. They just work seamlessly. The only thing you need to remember to do is to charge them up every now again. Fantastic just scroll up and buy one (or even better, two) you won’t be disappointed.
