The new cover for my Brabantia washing line is much sturdier than my old one. It will stand up to the wind and rain much better, although I do generally take the line in when I’m not using it. Good value
Aesthetically pleasing black speckled material with embroidered “Brabantia” text at top of cover.
Well made, heavyweight cover. Easy to take off, put on with having a zip to loosen the cover if needed.
Great for keeping the washing line clean and looks smart in the garde
This item is brilliant! Simple and easy to use. Tough fabric. Well made. Colour blends away rather than stands out. Highly recommend. Great value for money.
It covers my rotary drier when not in use, it is easy to use and looks near and tidy.
Thick woven fabric and well made – a great improvement on the original Brabantia cover that came with the clothes drie
Quite expensive for what it is but it still looks brand new after a winter of use.
Buy cheap, buy twice they say.
This is much better than a cheap cover I bought and only lasted a couple of months.
So far a year and it is still in a good condition.
Cant praise this enough its out in all weathers and still as good as when I first purchased it.
Well worth paying the extra to get something well made lasts for ever. Very pleased with this purchase.
Great cover, replacing a long old and tired one. So nice to have a modern looking one, feels sturdy and good looking. Good value.
Fitted the rotary washer well. Very easy to remove. Bought this in 2016 and now having to buy a new one as the top has started to tear and the outside getting covered in green sort of mould. Generally very pleased. However I note that the price has now increased from 10.97 in 2016 to 14.03 now. (Mar 2021).
Perhaps Brabantia could consider reinforcing the top in some way.
After only 3 uses one of the lines came apart. It only had one pair of jeans hanging on it. It is looking fairly fiddly to put back togethe
I am very impressed with the sturdiness of this cover and the ease with which it zips on and off. Far superior to anything I have previously bought and used
I had my previous cover for years and it was out in all weathers. This product looks great and if it lasts for as long as the previous one I’ll be very happy.
excellent product and so easy to slip over the washing line an zip up, literally takes 5 seconds, and looks good, well worth the buy
buy Brabantia products and they realy last for a very long time, I guess the last line cover I purchased must be 15 years ago, so never hesitated to buy a Brabantia cover again extreamly well made and what ever the weather they last the distance, I would recommend this product for its durability alone and ease of use 5*
It’s so much better than the one tgat came with my rotary line. That became flimsy and brittle. It tore, but think that’s more to do with the fact we are high up next to open land, the wind howls around our house. This one is bigger than the last one and covers more of the post do when things get wrapped around they don’t get so dirty. Very pleased with purchase.
Very pleased with my order, I’d read the reviews and wasn’t quite sure whether to purchase it but the quality is good, nice and thick. The green cover that came with my new Barbantia Rotary dryer unfortunately was eaten by baby foxes, so I’m hoping this one fares better.
I have a large Brabantia clothes line and the one that came with it many years ago, I thought was good but it was always tight and work to get on. This one seems a better material , glides on easily and looks secure enough to put up with the many winds we get. I would recommend it.
I like the quality of the Brabantia products I was pleased to be able to get the product via Amazon as all local suppliers just had poor quality covers that only lasted 1 yea
I was impressed by this as soon as I took it out of its bag. Unlike previous covers that were in a sort of smooth, plastic sheet, this gives a woven appearance. It feels really tough, and is a good weight, meaning that it should stay in place well even in high winds – and has done just recently. I’m hopeful that it will last for many years. According to the manufacturer it is also recyclable.
Yes, it’s expensive compared to options but it does seem quite substantial. We have used many of the cheap woven poly’ ones and if lucky the last one winter of being battered by wind and rain. I’m hoping this lives up to its visual and tactile quality.
This is better than the original case I got with my Brabantia washing line. Thick material, Black in colour, zips up without any problems.
A strong, well made cover. Zip is sturdy and I love the way it zips up to the top and part way over so it easy to put on and take off.
I’ve had many line covers but this is without doubt the very best one around for the money. A real quality item that looks like it should last for years. It fits my large John Lewis line perfectly with room to spare.
Great colour, material and design. Fits over our 4 line Brabantia and is not too tight. Good zip and fully waterproof. Well worth the money. Had it for several months and looking good.
Have used these covers for years for my brabantia rotary driver. This is my 3rd one, I like to renew mine every 3 years not that is torn but a little thinner due to weathering. Would definitely recommend. I’ve had green, grey now black.
This is a well made product and the best feature is the zip. No more having to stretch the cover over the top and try and pull it down. The material is waterproof and I am hopeful that this will be durable and last a long time.
Not long installed my new Brabantia washing line which came with one of the wax covers. I was bitterly disappointed that after only a few weeks it had ripped (due to scraping along the fence when propped up) but after looking for a replacement I discovered that these are a cheaper style and would be better off replacing anyway!
Pleased to say that whilst this cover seemed a little pricey it is of a much better quality. Thick material and logo is embroidered so less opportunity for it to tear. It does seem slightly baggy on my washing line so I have just attached the plastic tie that normally goes around the washing line inside on the outside for extra security.
Best cover I’ve had. Looks good and feels durable. It’s easy to use – to close it you zip downwards.
After replacing my rotary line.and being fed up with cheap covers, I bought this. The quality is evident before you even take it out the bag it comes in. To make life easier, it has a zip so no more struggling to get the cover over the top and fed down the line. My only concern is there is no pull cord or way to tighten the fit, so I would be wary of leaving this out in windy weather. But, after my old line blew over and took part of the patio up with it, i have learnt a lesson and won’t be leaving the line out in bad weather anymore.
Very well made cover but no way of securing it to the airer so it could disappear in high winds. Having said that we have had exactly that the last few days and the cover is still there so I’m hoping it will stay!
Looks good in our garden.
My previous Brabantia cover lasted a good seven years, but became a bit faded and thin. I had no hesitation in buying exactly the same cover again, as I was assured of it’s durability. The zipper still worked well, so I stripped it off, and re-used it in a parasol cover!
It’s really useful, in between washes, for keeping bird poo off the line! Much easier to put on(& off) than I’d thought. I can wipe the new cover clean if need be too. This cover also protects the plastic components from weathering- giving the rotary line a longer life. Great!
Gone are the days of trying to keep all four of the rotary dryer’s arms together whilst reaching up high to slide a crinkly green cover over the blessed thing! This makes a pain in the neck faffy task just so simple! The top is square shaped so it easily sits atop the loosely folded rotary dryer and the zip operation is very smooth. This is such a simple product; I love using it and it makes me happy every time I fling it on and zip it up!
I love this so much I purchased one for my sister in law too! She too is smitten!
It may seem a bit pricey compared to most line covers for sale but this so easy to put on and is a light year better than the cheaper ones I have bought over the years.
Knowing what I know now about how they have all deteriorated in short periods I would have bought this one first and saved a lot of hassle and wasteful spending.
On opening product you can tell straight away it is quality. 5 year guarantee. Very easy to put on & take off. First night in use it poured with rain & cover did its job. You get what you pay for, many covers are cheaper but few will be better quality than this one!
A tad expensive for what it is, but if you want it to match (!) and guarantee to fit your airer then this is great. It is good quality with a sturdy zip. Easy to get on and off. I store my airer inside so I can’t comment on the weatherproof qualities, but this cover is good for storing the airer neatly and no risk of getting the lines caught in anything when it’s stored away. I’m only marking down 1 star because the price is a tad expensive (you’re paying up for the brabantia brand name).
This was to replace an inferior one I purchased earlier which you could spit peas through….
This one is 100% better in quality, you get what you pay for. Very happy with this and I am sure it will last a long time.
Bought this to accompany a Brabantia Topspinner 40 rotary line.
This, like the peg bag seems to be excellent quality, hardwearing and weatherproof and should provide years of service.
My only gripe its that it could use some method of securing to the washing line, as despite being the recommended cover for my washing line, its quite loose fitting and open at the bottom, and seems a good gust of wind will have it off.
Solved by tying it with a piece of cord attached to the zip.
Very happy with the look of this product & the ease of which it goes over the Washing Line. I cannot review how it has weathered, as I have only used it for a few weeks.
I had wanted a dark green one but none were available with good reviews that I considered tough enough. This black one is tough, reasonably unobtrusive and super-easy to put on and take off – it unzips from the bottom and zips up again from the top. Can’t comment on its durability as I’ve only had it a couple of months – time will tell…
Surely the best cover you can buy. Fits over my brabantia line perfectly. Zip up one side so easy to take on and off. Will last many years. Great brabantia quality.
Easy to put on and is durable. It’s survived rain, wind and sun, and still looks good.
Really great product. Waterproof and fits my extra large rotary line.
So happy with this I ordered a second one to cover my garden party parasol to keep it clean whilst its stored in the garage.
Got this black cover as my old green one that came with the dryer itself was starting to look disgusting so needed an upgrade. Its much bigger than the other one but still does the same job and looks better.
I just love this cover. It was the first time that I had tried one of these with a zip. Thought it was a bit pricey in the beginning but when it arrived it was worth every penny. It is more than big enough. The length is great – unlike some others. It never moved at all in the high winds we have had lately. It looks like it should last for years. I really am impressed and would thoroughly recommend it.
This is in a different league to your usual washing line cover. I was fed up with a 1.99 ebay special lasting 5 mi utes due to UV rays. This product is a good deal thicker and of a completely different material. I have no doubt this will last very much longer.
For years I bought cheap plastic covers that latest a year at most. About 8 years ago I bought my first Brabantia and have only just needed to replace it.
Save time and money and buy this cover. It fits the largest of parasols and lasts a very long time. I live by the sea, so everything corrodes quicker and still lasted over 8 years! I won’t buy anything else now.
Absolutely brilliant product! I’ve used cheaper covers that simply don’t last. I’ve had this at least 3 years & its still going strong. It’s easy to fit. Excellent thing & would definitely recommend!
This is a good quality cover, not too thin so should last for quite a while, I have bought similar covers before that have not been such good quality and they have torn at the top and not weathered well
Extremely good quality and very strong fabric. The original cover that came with the Brabantia washing line has lasted really well and I bought it many years ago and it was a lot more lightweight than the new one. It had lasted until all the recent extreme weather when I noticed it has ripped but that was possibly caused by a neighbour’s trampoline that blew over the fence and ended up against the washing line. If the new one lasts as long I will be very happy. The zip makes it so easy to use and keeps the line nice and clean.
Overall, this is a well made cover and just the job for when the weather turns nasty, protecting the line through the winter in situ. There are two small flaws which the manufacturers could address with a change of design. 1. In high winds the zip has a tendency to unzip itself, exposing some of the line. We solved this by adding two pegs just below the zip. 2) The top of the cover is flat, which encourages birds to sit on it and defecate down the sides. If rounded plastic spikes were added to the design, this would not happen.
The old Brabantia cover lasted well during storms and prolonged sunlight. Unfortunately the local squirrels suddenly did a teeth test on it and chewed a hole in the bottom of it – must have thought it was a very large nut!!
This is my second as the original one had worn over the years it’s very good quality and they do last for years it is kept outside over my rotary airer and I’ve never had any problems it covers my airer entirely so the lines are kept nice and clean. I Would recommend this produc
Bit early to say for 100% but it looks to keep the rotary dry in the rain so far. It’s simple to use.
I wish it had a way to draw it in or tighten it but I’m just using a bunji cord for now
Let’s see what winter does!
Cheers
This is probably the best cover for a rotary dryer we have bought. It not only looks great (or at least as great as a cover for a rotary cover can), but it also feels very durable. I’ll be very surprised if we don’t get years of use out of this.
This washing line, the replacement for an old Brabantia model, is excellent! More variations in useable height, robust construction and easy to use. Mine was supplied with the soil spear and I had to purchase a cement socket separately. Note that the soil sear was impossible to hammer into the lawn, probably due to the lack of rain this summer. Once cemented in using post-hole, rapid hardening cement, the plastic socket is rock solid. My wife, too, is highly delighted!
This protector does exactly what it is supposed to – to keep our washing line from getting rusty or dirty. We inherited a Brabantia rotary washing line when we moved home and we just wanted to look after it as it’s a few years old. It also rains a lot here.
This cover fits very easily around a large rotary drier. It is easy to put on and remove with its full length zip, and works well to protect the line when not in use. It looks so much smarter than not having a cover and I am delighted with it.
I bought this washing line cover to replace one I bought last year, which became shredded after the hot Summer we had. I had been given the Brabantia peg bag as a gift a little while ago, so I was pleased to match up the cover (being a bit ocd this is important to me!)
I love the fact that this cover fits easily over the rotary dryer and fits all the lines inside when closed. Not checked whether it is weatherproof as tend to put the dryer away after use rather than leave out.
This is the second Brabantia rotary clothes line cover that I have purchased. The other one lasted six years before showing signs of weathering and eventual wear and tear. It is well made with a full zip closure that makes it easy to cover the rotary line when it is stowed after use. The fact that it is fully weatherproof means it is out in all weathers, and does a brilliant job of keeping the line clean and as good as new. I would highly recommend this product.
Strong material & well-made cover- maybe a little expensive for what it is, but should hopefully protect my brabantia rotary dryer from the worst of the elements and UV damage for a fair while to come!
I like this product and it’s the second one I’ve bought, the first one lasted a few years. It’s well made, fits over the rotary airer washing line perfectly and is easy to get on and off. The zip glides easily.
My previous Brabantia cover lasted about 5 years had to replace because the zipper became too stiff and kept jamming. Although my new cover is well made and looks the same the material is a lot thinner not sure this one will last so long.
Could do with being longer. Cover is 160cm and bought for Brabantia 40m rotary line which is 192cm. Could do with being another 25/30cm so as to not leave bottom of pole open to elements. That said quality is good and as long as zip doesn’t break cover is better than the cheaper covers that are around.
As soon as we unwrapped this, you could immediately tell the quality. It is fantastic, really durable and well made. I would expect this to last for many years. Very easy to use too, you zip down from the top, unlike many other brands. Would highly recommend and it was an excellent price!
Weather-proof protector of good quality. Tip: Place small, square, plastic food container box over the top of your closed rotary airer. Then place over this cover. The plastic box prevents the airer arms from puncturing the cover, makes it last months & months longer.
The waterproof material seems to be reasonably thick enough for the wear and tear usage, the zip is fairly sturdy, the cover itself seems bit on the large side and a little baggy, and acts as a sail during windy conditions, it is certainly waterproof and only time will tell for its longevity
I bought two, one for the rotary dryer and one for the patio brolley. Both look great and fit perfectly. They are worth paying that little bit extra for the quality.
Our original Brabantia cover was made of a green canvas type material and lasted for many years before a replacement was needed. We tried the cheaper Brabantia ones and other makes but despite their fancy designs they were nothing more than cheap plastic that punctured and ripped easily.
This is made of similar although not the same canvass type material as the original which is hard to tear or rip. We have a larger Brabantia dryer and this easily covers it with room to spare but this is where this cover looses a star. The original cover had a draw string stitched in at the bottom to tie it closed to prevent any gust of wind from creating a wind sock effect and sucking it off the dryer. This does not so we have to use an old shoe lace to perform this duty especially as this sits much looser. Also there is no reinforcement to the top and when over the dryer the folded arm ends are clearly pressing upwards stressing the cover. As already said the material seems very robust but this is clearly where it will fail first. To overcome this we have found that a old 7″ plastic plant pot sits perfectly over the top of the dryer and with the cover on there is no stressing of the material. The pot also stays inside the cover if after unzipping you lift upwards holding the area of the pot meaning it’s a simple placing of the pot and cover back over when needed.
So not perfect but the best you will find.
This is our second same colour (black) Brabantia cover. Our previous cover lasted 5 years and if I’m honest it could have lasted a bit longer but I’ve decided to change it due to a colour loss (it turned grey and even grey was faded) and part of a zip broke off. I’m still giving it 5 stars due to its durability. For the past 5 years we’ve had any and every kind of weather (scorching sun, rain, snow, hurricane strong winds) and it has withstood them all. It’s expected that colour fades away so that isn’t a reason enough to score it less. Before I’ve had Brabantia cover I’ve tried from pound shop covers to similar priced once to this one and none has come close in quality as of yet.
I was looking for yet another replacement cover for my rotary clothes line. I’ve been buying cheaper waxed type covers. However, they generally last about two years before they start to split and perforate. This time I was looking for something a little stronger and longer lasting. This one from Brabantia looked really good, and so I ordered it.
It arrived neatly folded in a cellophane bag. Immediately I could feel the difference, even before opening the bag. This has a much thicker feel to it and yet not heavy. The inclusion of a zip is a real bonus as fitting the cover is now a breeze. No feeding over the top of the line and feeding downwards, a frustrating job. Now, I can slip the cover around the line and zip it up.
It’s too early to say how long it will last, but I am confident it will last a long time just from the feel and the quality of its construction. The seller says on their page that it has a 2-year guarantee but the packaging actually says 5 years, so it is worth keeping the packaging just in case. I would guess that 5 years is easily attainable and the cover will last much longer than this.
Overall, I’m very pleased with this cover and it wasn’t overally expensive.
Looks great, good quality but thing I love most is how easy it is to get on. I used to sruggle lifting old covers over and pulling them down, often getting wires stuck and tangled, this cover is superb you just wrap it round and pull zip up it takes seconds compared to the minutes of my life I used to waste strugglying to get ones on I’ve had in the past. It also stays on the line as it is quite heavy so I don’t have to take it in every time I use it (I have a big garden and used to have to put old one inside or it would end up on the grass and eventually ripped).
This cover is very good quality and quite large, so it fits easily. The only downside is that there is no drawstring at the bottom – it just hangs freely. Given how loose the fit is, then I was a bit worried it might blow off in heavy winds. I’ve solved this by just using the drawstring off the old one.
Material seems to be very robust compared to other supposedly heavy duty covers have tried in the past. Time will tell how long it will last but, on looks alone, does appear that it will stand up to the Sun’s usual effects on material left outside longer than a lot of others. Would like to have had drawstring on bottom as well as zip to secure under our hoist handle, but that’s only our washing line. Don’t think it will blow away due to overall length of the cover so still very pleased with purchase.
Was worried this was too expensive – but actually the quality surpasses anything I have had before.
The material is so much stronger and tougher than anything else on the market. the cheaper versions are ‘tent’ thickness canvas, this is tough coat thickness. excellent.
I would have liked it to be a little longer to be honest, but it still works fine. and an elasticated bottom would also have been a bonus, but it doesn’t blow off.
The colour choice options were very odd. you can choose a colour but cant guarantee getting the one you ordered, so I went for the black – to be sure.
Only been up for a few days but seems very sturdy and easy to use. It’s a bit higher than the previous one which means that we can easily get underneath to use the lines near the centre.
Only problem was that the soil spear (the bit you fit permanently into the ground) is really difficult to knock in. I made a pilot hole with a crow bar in addition to the instructed cuts and still had great difficulty (and I’m a reasonably hefty chap). I used the wood protection to prevent damage but there was still some damage to the spike which I managed to knock out. Also, because it’s so difficult and, despite repeated checks at the start of ‘knocking in’ (there’s nothing to align the spirit level with when it’s almost in) it still ended up not vertical. I did manage to correct by leavering the cube of soil across. It would be far easier, for knocking in as well as alignment, if the spike was designed to allow some supplied tube inside to knock the thing down. It’s not an expensive upgrade compared to the overall price.
Oh, last thing! This item COMES already with a cover and a spike. Hence, there’s no need (as I did) to take the advice and buy both when ordering.
My previous cover lasted only a couple of years, thanks to the ends of the folded line (not made by Brabantia) wearing through the top of the cover. This Brabantia cover looks cool and has a full length zip which makes life easier. I now use an inverted plastic pudding bowl placed over the top of the folded line which prevents the rods chafing the material! So I look forward to many years of use from this smart cove
Probably the best rotary line cover on the market. Bought to replace a Minky pebbles cover that succumbed to the elements after three and a half years.Immediately on opening impressed by the quality of the material used, i’m sure it will outlast the 5 year guarantee. I like the zip which closes from the top down, being the opposite to the Minky which i found awkward. I noted other reviews which mention that the zip can come undone in windy conditions so i have fitted a cable tie to the zip slider and attached it to an old padlock to use its weight to keep the zip closed.
Great quality cover. Fed up with the cheap green ones that keep going brittle and splitting? Then get one of these! Yes this costs more, but happy with the investment so far. Has withstood wind and rain over the last few months and still looks like new. This one looks the business and feels like it will outlast the rotary dryer (not a Brabantia)! Was worried it might get blown off in the wind with the absence of a tie cord, but no such problem. Stays put due to the streamlined shape and heavy material with full length zip. The four sided rectangular tube shape looks good as it keeps its shape and doesn’t sag. Possibly the best cover ever? Certainly the best I’ve ever used.
Not as heavy and thick as my old cover but the zip is useful and I have inserted a flower pot (!) at the top of the cover as I reckon the drier will wear through the fabric too quickly. Not ideal but it works so Brabantia, please copy!
My old cover poked through after a couple of years and the fabric finally rotted due to exposure to the elements – that was after 5 years or so – so Brabantia please match!
It’s good quality and easy to use. Much nicer than looking at the bright blue or garden green ones. The reason for the four at not a five is that the brand name is written in large letters at the top and goes down roughly a quarter of its length. I realise they are quite rightly proud of their products but it would look much better without the black writing. I still think it’s worth the money because of the quality.
I received my rotary cover very quickly and was pleased to see it looked much thicker and stronger than my previous ones which only lasted a very short time. I feel confident that this one will be much more resilient and it looks good too. Obviously I can’t say how long it will last as I have only been using it for three weeks but we shall see. In the meantime I am happy with it.
Got this so we could just leave our rotary line out in all weathers and it is superb.
Completely waterproof, slides on great and the zip is excellent.
I know some said they didn’t like the writing down the side, but sorry, that’s being really picky. It has got “Brabantia” written down the side, but then again……that’s who made it!
Don’t be put off by that. Its not the cheapest out there, but I would suspect you get what you pay for!
I wanted an airer that was going to be easy to lift and out of the ground spike as I have a slight shoulder problem – it is. Opening and closing the airer is quite easy, you just have to mind the lines. The ground cap is very useful for keeping water and debris out of the spike and clips on the end of one of the arms while the airer is in use so you are less likely to lose it. Bought the Brabantia airer cover separately and it fits brilliantly – zips right from top to bottom to you just slip it over the top and zip down. So overall after a couple of months I am absolutely delighted with the product and recommend it.
Looks smart…..great strong fabric…..goes on easily…..I use it everyday…tidies the look of the garden. I am sad..but I have had loads of different covers over the years and this one is the best ever! It just looks quality and not like the shiney tarp covers with zips. It feels nice to touch. I hardly used the old covers but use this all the time…Get one you won’t regret it and the price is fab too! My rotarty drier came from John Lewis and looks good on this. (john lewis own make ..4 sides to it )
I didn’t have a Brabantia washing line so I was unsure if this would fit my Vileda whirly line. I needn’t have worried as this fitted perfectly. Was getting fed up with cheap washing line covers that would last 2 years tops then discolour and perish an I’d have to staple at the top. My neighbour has always had brabantia covers and hers has last years and years so I copied. I wasn’t keen on the Gecko design she had so plumped for Forest so it blended in with our garden more. It’s a really nice modern design. Nicer and made a change from the boring green ones. I love the zip closure style. It makes it so much easier than the pull over design I’ve always had in the past and always battle with in the wind. The zip goes from top to bottom to close and when running the zip up to open the cover you do not need to hold the zip at the bottom to steady/guide it. Truly amazing. Just get hold of the zip in one hand and slide it up. A one handed job. Fits my rotary line really well as it’s tubular shaped not stitched on the top like the cheap ones. They not just for Brabantia lines as advertised. It’s made from a very strong feeling durable plastic. The only thing I’d change is the two huge logos on it which I found a little over the top and overpowering. They are on opposite sides of the tubular cover so I angle the logos to both my neighbours so I can’t see either of them when I look out my back window and up the garden. The Forest design is nicely camouflaged against the ivy covered wall and our patio as it’s backdrop in our garden. Really pleased with the design and quality. No more nasty cheap false economy covers for me any more. I highly recommend these at 11.50. Quick delivery from private Amazon seller too
But sadly, the same can’t be said for my very conservative hubby or naughty puppy! This was everything I’d been expecting and arrived even quicker than expected and I couldn’t wait to slip it on my Brabantia Lift-O-Matic rotary line to replace my bog standard boring plain green one because the zip had come away from the material. I was fully prepared for this new bright grass design cover to make a statement in my very bland winter garden awaiting it’s summer colour, but it received some rather unpleasant comments from my other half and a rhetorical question to me saying, ‘Are YOU SURE about this!’ I said that I was and like to be different! But then as if in cahoots with him, I then spied our 8 month old puppy attacking the bottom of the cover trying to rip it off!!!!! In spite of the opinions of these other household members, my lovely bright ‘making a statement’ design cover is still in tact and still looking lovely in my, still boring bland winter garden. It doesn’t seem to have frightened off any of our many birdy visitors so they obviously have taste……like me lol
I purchased a similar item fro Brabantia 6 years ago before moving to Cyprus. The zip finally pulled away from the cover a couple of months ago. I purchased a generic cover in Cyprus as I couldn’t find the correct size Brabantia cover here (and all Brabantia products here are almost twice the UK price) – the generic cost the same here as the Brabantia cover including p&p from Amazon and lasted 5 weeks! My original cover coped with the strength of the sun here for nearly 6 years and this replacement feels thicker so I am expecting it to last as long. I have a 4 arm large Brabantia rotary line and it fits very well, although I was expecting it too be a bit tight. So – more than pleased and would highly recommend.
We’ve just had our back garden remodeled following moving in 11 months ago. We have gone through the summer without a washing line and decided to buy a more expensive one now that all the work has been completed. This cover was bought to keep it in good shape.
It’s hard to get exited about a rotary line cover, but this is certainly worth the money. The material is high quality, the fit (the line is Brabantia too) is excellent and it’s really easy to put on (because it’s fully zipped). It doesn’t flap around in the wind and it hasn’t been noticeably damaged by the elements so far.
So if you need a cover and want something that isn’t an eyesore to look at, then this one could be for you too.
This cover comes up to high standard. It was delivered very quickly and is of good quality. It is slightly big but that was my fault when ordering but better than being too small. It replaces one(not Brabantia) that I bought just after buying rotary dryer–it has lasted nearly 4 years out in all weathers so here’s hoping this one does as well. Like the zip coming down from top as it is easy to close if you are in a hurry–when that sudden shower comes on!!
Having bought covers for a few pounds year after year I decided to splash out on a more expensive one. The quality is good, material feels strong and durable and the zip is really smooth to use. Can’t really comment on value for money until I’ve had it a while. Only downside is that covers I’ve had in the past have had a drawstring round the bottom to keep it from blowing away in strong winds this one doesn’t but being a thicker, heavier material it might not need one!
his is a good product and of a good quality, the zip goes all the way from top to bottom of the cover, if like me you are short means that it makes it easier to get over the top of the rotary drier without struggling, the product is also guaranteed for two years as well, have tried cheaper covers but they don’t last and are very thin and after a while tear, a little more expensive but if they last 5 years or more then it is not expensive 5 STARS
I have a big Vileda four arm rotary airer. It came with a cover when purchased which has rotted away and when I contacted vileda to find out where to get another they said they don’t make them now. They suggested going to Argos. I did and bought a useless green thing which doesn’t allow for the 15 cm square you get on the top of these big airers when the arms are folded in so back it went.
I ordered this one to try and I am delighted. It fits perfectly and is made of a really tough material (unlike the original which was flimsy by comparison) It zips from top to bottom and is a snug fit. When you pay over 100 for an airer you want to make it last.
This is a great airer and highly recommeded.
This is a great quality product and highly recommended
I have had a rotary washing line for ages. I didn’t know the make. Over the years, the covers have disintegrated and we needed a new one. Saw Brabantia covers on Amazon and bought one, hoping it would fit. Turned out my line was a Brabantia anyway, but I didn’t know it, so of course, it fitted perfectly. It is well made and has a substantial full length zip, which enables it to be fitted to the line with ease. Looks as if it will last for ages.
The item arrived really quickly and looks like it will last for a long time. Heavy duty material and an excellent fit. Looks great on the airer and should give lasting protection. Love the full length zip which starts at the top unlike some which start at the bottom and have to be ‘joined’ like an anorak zip! I have cut the bottom off a suitable sized plastic container which I put over the the top of the line first to stop the folded poles puncturing the cover – a trick I have learnt from past experience!
Had one that came with my Brabantia washing line that lasted almost 10 years. Bought cheap products after that which only lasted a few weeks and ended up in shreds. Found this one for a good price here on Amazon. You get what you pay for. Here’s to the next 10 years!
