Needed a 6 inch Phillips screwdriver, not supplied . Allen key needs to be longer . Hence 4 star for assembly. Otherwise really pleased with product. Thought of painting it , but it looks nice as it is .
Would recommend. Could be assembled by one person. Very sturdy . Looks equally nice without armrests.
This arrived earlier than expected. Easy to build and looks great painted black to match the pergola in our garden. Needs a cushion if im going to sit on it more than 20 minutes, but otherwise perfect. Exactly what I was looking for.

Takes a bit of jiggling to get the screws in, but I’d read a previous review that advised not to tighten screws until all of them were in and was prepared. Really sturdy bench and surprisingly comfy to sit on without a cushion. Good quality and worth the money, even though there are cheaper benches out there, they are not as well made. At least you know this bench is going to last and not fall apart at the first gust of wind!
Very happy with this bench! Put it together easily (mostly alone, but with a few helpful holds while I screwed in slats!) and then painted it using fence paint. We now have a comfortable bench at the end of the garden, which provides a nice sunny spot for a glass of wine at the end of the day. I was looking for a well-made, robust, comfortable garden bench that would last for years whilst being permanently outside. This was it. Everything about this bench gives confidence that it’s a serious piece of garden furniture, unlike so many around a similar price bracket that seem to be more form than function. This is a ‘no frills’ item and all the better for it. The construction requires a little care to ensure the seat components are correctly lined-up and a power screwdriver/drill is almost essential. But basically it’s perfectly straightforward with a good instruction guide (and there’s even a youtube video)!
Delivery arrived within 2 days. Really easy to put together, only needed another person to hold either end when putting in the first couple of screws. All the holes lined up so only took ten minutes.

Lovely looking piece of wooden furniture. Only give 4 stars for easy to assemble as had to go purchase a screw as one came damaged.
Very good bench and once painted looks even better. Simple assembly but I’d suggest having a power drill to make your life easie
A good strong comfortable bench , do have to be very careful inserting screws, pilot holes quite hard to locate correctly.
The package arrived about three days before it was expected. Assembly was reasonably easy (in the front room). I used a drill on low torque to make life even easier to screw in the screws and bolts then used the hex key supplied for the final tightening. Leave the fastenings a little loose until the end. The most difficult part of the instructions were deciding were the two short slats went. I can report, from the front of the seat to the back of the top, it goes, one long, one short, three long, one short, three long, then the last long one on the top. I found that to aide assembly, I screwed a screw into the screw holes by hand, just a little way to make it more easy to see and define the holes, which helped when putting it all together. The two short slats are short because they coincide with the arm rests attaching to the upright feet blocks. Once up, the bench looks beautiful. All the wood has been well treated for long life and once the bolts and fasteners have been tightened, it is rock solid. A neighbour loved it and is thinking to buy one soon. I would buy again but, I have only one bottom to seat outside. Have been enjoying a book and glass of wine in the spring sun. Would very much recommend this garden bench.
We are really pleased with our new bench. It was fairly easy to put together. It seems quite sturdy, the wood is pretty chunky. It’s comfy to sit on, with It’s curved seat shape. It definitely fits two people, three at a push. And looks nice in the garden.

I am extremely pleased with the bench, had no trouble putting it together except a couple of screw holes weren’t drilled enough but that was minor.

Really fast delivery arrived next day. Easy to assemble. I noticed a couple of splits appear in 3 panels i sent a pic and they sent replacement pieces next day. Cannot fault support!
Compared to simpler cheaper benches which will weather/rot/snap this should last much longer.
I paint now as easier than when assembled.
Couldn’t find anything wrong, it was just what i wanted, the bench is really well made, and looks very nice in my back garden, worth every penny.
The assembly was easy, all pieces were pre-drilled and all necessary screws and bolts were provided.
One of the features which pleased me was that when I was assembling it, every single screw slotted precisely into the pre-drilled holes, which shows it is a good, well designed product and the manufacturers obviously didn’t want customers sending goods back because of poor workmanship.
I’m very pleased with this bench and will buy another for a relative.
Was a little wobbly at first but have sorted it out, don’t fully tighten bolts until you sit on it to steady it out.
At present resting at top of garden for our little retreat, overlooking forestry area and views down valley.

Arrived 2 days earlier than advised! Well made and easy to assemble – quite enjoyable, really! All pieces fit without the need to get creative. Suggest that you get a seat cover as well, as it’s very firm to sit on.
Worth the money.
On the negative comments it says the screws don’t line up but if you swap ends or try another slat they’re fine.
If it rocks when you stand up it just needs levelling.
Would use this seller again, very pleased with purchase.
