I bought a similar item some years ago because I like to know the outdoor temperature before venturing out.
This one is neat and unobtrusive, with a clear display. The outdoor sensor is easy to mount on a fence post. It took a while for the temperature readings to agree with my accurate, digital meat-thermometer, but that’s OK.
With hindsight I wish I had bought one with a 24-hour Max/Min display … my oversight!

A clock and a weather station, I’ve been using this for 9 months now and the batteries for both the clock and the outdoors sensor are still working and the clock has probably lost no more than 30 seconds, which I consider to be more than reasonable. Setup, including the pairing of the clock with the outdoors sensor, is very straightforward and is clearly explained in the instructions. The volume of the crescendo alarm goes very loud (see video) and it will wake the heaviest of sleepers and features a 5 minute snooze. It has a back light – when switched on, a press of the snooze buttons activates it up for 10 seconds. Nothing too bright, just enough for you to see it.

The clock face shows the indoors temperature and humdity and if you set up the outdoors sensor, it will also show the outdoor temperature and humidity. It’s well worth setting up the small outdoors sensor – I have it secured and covered underneath the apex of my shed roof. I don’t have any use for the humidity readings, but the outdoor temperature reading is very handy in the winter – If it’s displaying at 5 degrees or more at 06:45 on a weekday, it’s almost guaranteed that my car won’t need de-icing and I can hit the snooze button a couple of times for a few extra minutes in bed! Overall, it’s a sturdy and good functioning piece of kit from an established brand.

1st part of my test, power these up, sat them beside each other & left them for a few days to fully acclimatise….10% of a difference in the humidity reading between the two devices. Ok, so not the most accurate in that respect. Temperature does seem fine & for most, this will be more important.
The smaller unit is meant to be outside & despite having a little LCD display, you’ll normally be reading it from the main unit, with its much larger display. It’s significantly larger, clearer, shows readings from both units side by side & is also backlit if needed.
Handy little units, which work together within range, they just need to sort the humidity accuracy.

Nice design that will look great on any bedside table or desk. This clock shows indoor weather as well as outdoor weather via a secondary device that connects to it. The second smaller device will carry out the task of measuring the humidity and temperature and needs to be placed outside (out of direct light and complete cover) but it also has a little screen to see the readings. There is a rubber seal around the battery case on the device which indicates waterproofing and I have had no issues in the rain.

Once you pair the two devices the main clock will display the readings of the smaller device on an area labeled outside. You could use this to measure the readings anywhere and compare them to the readings on the clock which are supposed to be the indoor measurements.

There is a background ambient light which is useful for seeing the time when the lights are dim but you can also tap the top for a stronger light. The buttons at the back are well placed to allow the alarm to be turned on and off without looking. I think the time view could be a little larger and the border of the device smaller too to be a little sleeker.

One small unit is placed outside (out of direct sunlight) and the large unit inside where you want to monitor from. The units link up so that the outside temperature is displayed on the main panel. Temperatures and humidity are shown for outside and inside, together with the time on the large display. It also has a graphic picture of the expected weather, full sun, part sun, cloudy, rain etc.
The display isn’t very bright but there is a button on the top to increase the brightness.
It is possible to set up alarms on the clock if you wish to do so.
Good looking unit which appears to show accurate information.

This is a clock basically with a couple of extras. Put batteries in the external sensor and leave it outside and now you have an inside / outside temp and moisture measure. I like it as I like to know what the actual temp is rather than Alexa telling me and getting it wrong. This is not a weather station it is a simple temp gauge with humidity measure – it will guess the weather but will not be accurate.

This weather station is a little smaller in size than some but if your short of space this would be ideal. You have to place the weather sensor outside but make sure it isn’t in direct weather. It seems to be pretty accurate with the temperature readings that it gives out both indoors and outdoors. It was easy to set up and also to change to Fahrenheit as that’s the temperature we use.

It is expensive however but for someone that is interested in what the weather might be as well as the temperate inside and out I think this would be great to gift. We have several in our house in different rooms, out of all the ones we have this I feel is the best. It does have a subtle backlight for in the evening so that it’s a little easier to see. Certainly would recommend buying.

I previously bought a less known brand of weather station for my home but some of the given values were approximated at best.

For my parents I decided to get this Braun one that even if comparably more expensive for similar functions it seams accurate in the given temperature/humidity measures and feels well built and reassuringly solid

This is a well-made device with good quality plastics and a clear display. It was easy to set up and pair to the outdoor sensor which was able to give temperature and humidity readings. These are displayed on the indoor device at the side of the same reading for the indoor space. Using these two readings an indication of the weather is displayed as a graphic. That is as complicated as it gets though – pretty basic really. There is a pretty standard offering of a clock with an alarm and the backlighting is sensitive to the ambient light around. The temperature reading was correct to within a half of a degree according to my central heating digital thermometer. It looks smart, it is easy to read the data and there is a novelty appeal to it but it is not a serious weather station. What it does do, it does well.

Arrived earlier than the scheduled delivery date! Very large screen and a nice color display!
The quality feel to the alarm clock justifes the cost. The only slight negative is that you can not always see the time when the clock is demmed, but it more than makes up for it at night, being a light sleeper any increase in light output would effect my sleep.
Very impressed with the quality and accuracy. I would recommend a mains adapter so the dim light stays always on. I would definitely recommend this weather station
Does the job perfectly, its simple to set up & use, can be used for travel with the regional feature
Has nice quality look & feel, not like the cheap plastic as are most others on the market
Only negative is the display is slightly dim for quick glance daylight viewing
