I waited forever to acquire Obsidian. I obsessed over him for months. He did not disappoint. Granted, he is still in the box, but he makes an impression nonetheless. Breyer’s famed craftsmanship is apparent even confined to the box. A statement piece, the best unicorn Breyer has made, to date.
The item was glorious. Quality of the wrapping was estimable. Good delivery. A++!
I bought it for my friend since she is a Breyer collector and she loved it. I told her she should have warned me that is would be so big and the packaging even bigger.
I ended up having to buy a bigger gift bag.
In the end though she acted like an excited kid with a new baby to their collection. She ended up need to rearrange her collection to add Obsidian to the group.
I didn’t ask for a picture. I had already ask for a picture just to make sure I didn’t get a duplicate, though I think she put it on the top shelf right in the middle.
