Had one before which I liked .. lasted a good time .. so brought again as would fit exactly ..
Comments for rear entry water and power. Not strictly a like for like replacement for New Team as inferred by Bristan. Bottom right entry for water supply is possible, (I had read in a description that it was not), however the pipe entry needs to be about 25cm to the left of the original position if you wish to also hide or reuse the original rear cable entry. Screw fixing positions also different.
Easy to control and we are pleased with it’s performance and design.

This was a replacement for an identical model. I hope this one last longer than 4 years.

Not happy. Installed to find front panel faulty. Not able to return as i bought early whilst bathroom was in progress. Very disapointed
Lets just hope it lasts but its so much better than our old Gainsborough SE 10.5 – installer had to modify one pipe for inlet but was done in under 30 mins.
Brought this to replace shower when bathroom refitted. Black casing very nice fits well with my new bathroom. Good shower, easy to use and adjust temperature- nice flow. Great price
Wasn’t happy with the model above this one and only lasted 2 years so hope this one does better.

Bought this to replace my old Bristan Smile. Plumber found it easy to install. For an 8.5kw shower the pressure isn’t bad at all. If like me you are on a budget and are limited to 8.5kw, then I recommend this shower.

Smart and clean lines. Works well and temperature control easy to use and see. Good value for money.
Replaced for same shower that was fitted so had no trouble with installation. Very easy to install if I didn’t have same holes to fit to wall. Multiple points for water entry and real easy to change.

Keeps the temperature and its digital screen is good. Easy to use and fit. You must have a smooth water pipe as its a suction fitting not the old nut style.

Easy to fit, good temperature, good looking, shame it broke down after about 2 months. All credit though Amazon got a new one out to us next day and Bristan got in touch same day to extend the warranty for another 2 months.
Temperature control is more passive as the display just tells you what temperature the water is. Product is good and Customer service is grea

This was to replace identical unit several years old that has given good service. This one was superb value for money.
Received the item, looks great but unfortunately not had it installed as yet!
Had to replace the older model that had become faulty, found this model on amazon at a good price and a good delivery date, it was a straight forward swap over using the old pipe work and cable, well pleased.
Easy enough to install with a useful wall template.
The only quibble is the push-fit connection for the mains water supply which had a tiny leak over 1.5 bar.
A compression fitting would have been slower to install but probably a tighter fit.
As with most newer models, it runs a little cold water through after switch off to minimise limescale build up.
Love it, this is the second one I’ve had one it is very easy to use
Bristan customer services are brilliant, friendly. Would definitely recommend and buy the Same product again if needed

Perfect, we replaced our current model with the same/newer model.
We actually returned this as we managed to repair our existing (same model) shower. We like the shower and the fact that you can get spares make it even better. We have a limescale problem so the fault is no reflection on the quality of the shower.

Advise everyone to buy the cheaper version without the LED temp gauge. It fails to show correct reading e.g. 14c should show 34c. It appears the small lights fail at the top middle and bottom of the figure 3. Would return but means removing the shower and await replacement then spend a further 70+ getting it removed and re-installed. and not having a shower during the period. Not happy at all. Intend complaining to amazon as no help in this sort of situation. Edit…… After complaining to Bristan the company sent me a brand new shower though had a lengthy wait to get a response due to COVID. So kudos to the company though does mean I would need to pay someone to refit. In meantime will keep as a spare. So have increased my rating to 4 stars due to getting a replacement.

This replaced the old model Newteam 9.5..much better. Better power but only on number 2 setting. Dont really need the digital display.

Replaced my previous Bristan which I had for 5 years and used every day. Very Happy with replacement. Cost less than I paid 5 years ago.
Been in for 5 months and still loving it. Powerful, temperature control is amazing and I’ve quickly got used to the led display
This replaced a similar unit. It was quick and easy to change.
I’ll be posting this short review on each of Bristan’s showers with the temperature display feature because it applies to all of them, and will give people a better buying experience. Many reviews say the shower is great, etc. but that the digital display stops working after a while. The reason seems to be clear; they aren’t switching the shower off at the pull switch. If you leave the shower live, as it were, the display stays visible, albeit two horizontal lines. However, as with all liquid crystal displays, be it calculator, watch, etc. if you leave the same digits or characters displayed for two long they affect the display itself, meaning that when they are supposed to change, those two horizontal lines stick.
So, simply put, when you’ve finished using the shower, switch it off at the pull switch, (which most are in bathrooms) that cuts the power to the shower and the display will vanish. Doing so should give the lcds a longer life, and stop what seems to be a common complaint among people who buy these showers. To be honest, Bristan could easily fit an auto-off function for the display if it isn’t used for a certain length of time, which would do the same thing, but for now, just pull the switch and save the display, (and a bit of electricity)

I love the fact that there is a digital display of the water output temperature, so you never get into a shower which is too hot or too cold.
It’s worth remembering that the incoming (cold) water temperature can vary with the seasons, so it’s not enough to set the dial and expect the temperature to be right.

So far so good it has an overrun function which should extend the showers life massively.
8.5kw is a good balance as I don’t want the 9.5kw which makes lights to dip (indicating massive power usage & scales up faster than 8.5..I like the digital display too..v posh

I was impressed with how easy to fit this shower was. The water inlet allows several positions for the incoming pipe, including straight back into the wall with no elbow. There is an excellent template, which makes lining up screw holes easy, and reasonably good access to allow power and water in the back.
In operation the shower is very good. It seems much more efficient than our previous 9.5Kw shower, getting a reasonable temperature with a much better water flow. Being able to see the temperature seems like a gimmick, until you realise that you’re no longer getting into the shower and discovering it’s not warm enough yet!

Bought this shower as a long term replacement for the same black bristan I already have as Im well pleased with the product and have been assured by a plumbing engineer that bristan is a great make
Far better than my previous showers. Did not fit directly to the existing plumbing and needed some creative rework. But I would still recommend based on product quality and performance.

Although the product was marketed as 2nd hand, it was in perfect condition. The water heater is easy to install and looks perfect.
The shower is good but the digital temperature which lights up in blue has broken already and does not register the temperature correctly – all the numbers have bits missing – a shame really for a brand new shower – the problem is we would have to dismantle it and be without a shower again – we have already been without a shower for 2.5 weeks over christmas so will leave it as it – such a shame about the digital numbers – think others have mentioned this also – the company should really offer a discount as the shower is in fact faulty – please address this situatio

Great shower, easy to fit, good pressure and the temperature indicator is a handy little feature.
I had one of these showers in my previous home and bought another when I moved to my present home. It’s an excellent product. The temperature display helps me set it exactly at the heat I want.
Brilliant service from Amazon for price and delivery. This is our 3rd Bristan shower that we are very happy with and is easy to fit.
Update – reported problem to Bristan and they’ve replaced the defective part within 48 hrs !!

Easy to install, even without a plumber! Water flow is good and the temperature is easy to adjust to the perfect one for your individual requirements. No issues thus far.

Lo nico malo que tiene es la potencia contratada con la compaa de luz, pero en casas nuevas no suele ser problema, de todas formas es muy importante revisar la potencia contratada.
Sale agua caliente casi al instante con la ventaja del ahorro de agua tambin, antes tena que esperar muchos segundos a empezar a notar el agua caliente, cuando te duchas es muy estable la temperatura, la verdad que se agradece mucho.
En su da decid comprar este articulo por encontrrmelo en el extranjero y me gusto.

Not being an electrician or plumber (I have trouble downloading phone apps), I got my competent cousin round, who knows about these things, to install this. It didn’t take him long. To make it easier, depending on where your pipe is, there are six inlet options available and seven electrical connections entry points, so everyone should be able to have this fitted. What we didn’t bother with was the riser rail, as the one in situ is adequate. Because of this, we miss out on the retaining hole for the hose in the soap dish but I think we can manage without that. Turn it on for 20 seconds to flush out any possible debris in the pipes and off you go.
The thing with this, and something I think is pretty pointless, is that it has a temperature readout (in Centigrade only). It’s just as easy to hold your hand under the spray to test it as it is to read it. In fact, the former is always a better bet anyway. The head has three settings, spray, jet spray, and a combination and that’s about it. It’s a shower. It’s nothing fancy. To be honest, unless it goes wrong, once it’s fitted and you stand under it scrubbing clean a voluptuous body (hers) or puny body (his), it’s not something you think about or admire (the shower I mean; I’m always thinking about her body).
In the market for a replacement electric shower? This is one to consider.
