Just seen another review which mentioned the same issue. The shower switch is really hard to pull, sometimes need a towel and lots of strength applied. Not sure if it’s a design flaw or just a specific unit. We’ve been using it for a year now, but the problem started a while ago.

This is the second lot of Bristan Basin and Bath taps – easy to use – well made and designed – cartridge type – excellent for hard water areas.. Would recommend and buy again. Great service throughou
Nothing to dislike about this product. Plummer had no problem fitting, looks very smart and easy to use. Just as good as the thermostatically controlled one it replaced. Would definately recommend this product. I did a lot of research on line for a bath mixer tap and am glad I chose this one.
This bath tap fulfils our needs in the bathroom. Value for money.

Real quality product. The back nuts are brass and not plastic like a lot of cheaper taps. Easy to follow instructions for fitting. My only gripe is that the shower head holder supplied sits some distance off the wall when fixed, which is ideal if using above the taps as a shower, but not so good if you want it to just hold the head adjacent to the taps. As a result I had to purchase another holder to do that job. Overall a recommended product at the best price, including postage, which I could find on the Internet.
My plumber thought this a great buy and had no problems with installation. The shower attachment works well. You do need dry hands to go from the bath to shower handset.
Husband replaced old bath taps with this new tap. The instructions were easy to follow and they look great. They say chrome plated so how long they will stay looking good for remains to be seen. So far so good.

This is a very stylish, well-constructed and easy to use bath/shower mixer. The shower function is surprisingly powerful and the whole thing looks very stylish. we bought these to match a basin mixer tap which we had installed previously and were very pleased with the performance of – the fact that we bought it on offer at a third of the original price was the icing on the cake!
We brought this product a while ago and it’s still in good use today. It decent a product and wedon’t have any issues with it.
These taps look expensive. They are both sturdy and attractive. I am convinced that they will greatly enhance the appearance of the bathroom. Great value for money.
I’ve had 3 different taps in my bathroom and the flow has been rubbish. This one is fantastic. Full bath in less than 5 mins was previously taking 20 mins to fill.
Really good quality taps, solid and heavy. With the modern ceramic washers, they are very easy to turn on and off in the bath – even with your toes! Water jet is strong, it goes downwards and not outwards.
This is a very good quality kit. The taps are excellent and the shower hose reaches to the other end of bath. My plumber was very impressed with the quality.

GOOD LOOKING BATH TAPS, ALTHOUGH THE NECK IS A LITTLE HIGH FOR MY SITUATION. INSTALLED A WEEK AGO AND ALL IS FINE.
