Lightweight long handled pruners, cut branches high up & prune low bushes without bending down. Come with a pair of secateurs for deadheading your flowers
Gift for my mother ,who has limited mobility, but insists on continuing tending to her garden.
These have a good reach (about 3 foot ish) and are easy to use ,they are good quality and should last well.
Works well cutting water shoots on apple trees. Nice long reach. The cut and hold feature is useful.
Feels very robust, perfect length, no more bending down to cut back dead flower stems in the winter, yay, did not realize you also get the other pruners in the picture so good value, also got a pair of gardening gloves bonus, very happy
Great product.
I’m surprisingly pleased with this set.
Packaged with good quality materials and straight forward setup. So this is Ideal for various uses including the hard to reach areas and to be honest does take a bit of getting used to, but to be fair its effective and has worked well here for the front and back garden upkeep, maintenance.
Pretty robust and will have a decent service life and offers good value for money and convenient with the two in one has definitely got the jobs done quicker with easy reach.
Being a wheelchair user this is an excellent and well made fantastic help in the garden, can now reach and retrieve cuttings I couldn’t before, recommended.
Extra reach. Hld the offcut. Would have liked to be able to lock whe reverse the cu
These arrived in a needlessly very large box stuffed with padding paper.
The box inside that one could have gone through my letterbox and was suitable for posting as it was.
I’m guessing this is Amazons exuberance – not the sellers though…
I got these for my elderly mother who loves her gardening and has a lot of climbing plants that rapidly get out of control and need constant pruning.
These are perfect.
Lightweight, perfect length and really quite sturdy.
They are well made.
The trigger mechanism is quite firm but my mum can use it with no problem.
The branches she was pruning were about 8mm thick and she breezed through them.
It was at this point that she mentioned how much easier it made the job.
She happily informed me that she wouldn’t have to get the step ladders out (which she places on grass) and then stand on the top step any more!!!!
This is a great tool which I am sure has just extended my mothers life expectancy many years!
I don’t understand why long handled tools cannot be as sharp as regular tools?
That said these are the best I have ever bought.
When I prune a thin branch or stem I want a clean cut.
Could do better!
In my 70s, had surgery on spine last year & no longer feel safe standing on step ladder to trim bushes etc, this brilliant tool reaches high enough for me to prune shrubs etc from ground level, light enough to hold in one hand & the fact it also holds on to the bits cut off makes the job even easier, best garden tool I’ve got, bonus you also get pair of gloves & secateurs, definitely recommended
Excellent secateurs ad a very useful long-reach clippers for cutting low-down or high-reach stems or fairly thin branches. Good pistol grip on the clippers and the swivel barrel enables cutting of awkwardly located stems. The release catch for the cutters is tight and a little awkward to open and close but this does not affect the performance.
Being a certain age , reaching those climbing roses for dead heading was getting dangerous, these long arm clippers are a godsend. I won’t use the rotating head feature as I just turn my wrist , but hay Ho good price and really useful
I primarily wanted the longer reach clippers for my taller rhododendron bushes. Normally I need to take out my step ladder. This save the hassle and time. It also makes it safer from falls. It is a bonus to get a spare pair of normal clippers. Both of them are sharp with good easy cutting of bush branches. Good useful garden equipment.
