100% SOLID COPPER CORE 0.55mm, 24AWG, UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair), professional quality for High Definition (HD) images. Cat6 specification offers high speed Gigabit networking of 1000Mbps and provides performance of of 250 MHz more than double of CAT5e and is suitable for 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX (Fast Ethernet), 1000BASE-T/1000BASE-TX (Gigabit Ethernet), and 10GBASE-T (10-Gigabit Ethernet) – 10 x faster than CAT5e.

I used the cable to run from my house to an out-building for internet. I buried the cable and live in a climate that gets plenty of precipitation and hits 100+ in the summer and will get down to 0 degrees in the winter. Has worked without issue for 18 months so far.
