Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersBought to replace a standard blow up mattress. Lots of good reviews for it so gave it a go.

Inflated and tested in the living room, so limited experience with it but if I remember I’ll come back and post a further review in April.

Easy to inflate, and it was supporting and comfortable.

Don’t be put off by any elbows or knees touching the ground when you get up or down, when you are lying down it fully supports you.

It’s very compactly packaged mattress, and the bag it comes in is oversized so when rolling it back up, it fits back without a problem!

I must see I really like this mattress. The built-in foot pump makes it very easy to pump up and once pumped up fully it’s rather comfortable to lie on. For me it has a good length and width and added fact it has a built-in pillow makes for a much nicer sleep. I also found it very easy to roll back up and put in the bag it came i

Comes in a compact bag, the materials feel good quality and super easy to inflate, I personally used the aksoul air pump and it was up in seconds, the foot pump is good to top it up. It’s comfy when fully inflated and the pillow is a great touch. 10/10 would recommend.

Brilliant!, It comes in a handy carry bag once it’s layed flat and unfolded it looks huge it’s got a built in foot pump which only takes a few minutes to fully inflate the air bed, when it’s inflating it does start to shrink a bit and you can see the little pockets and build in pillow filling up.
Once fully inflated it’s pretty strong iv been sleeping on this for a few nights now and it hasn’t even lost any pressure (unlike others ) it’s really comfortable doesn’t make any annoying sounds during the night and even has popper buttons on each side so you can attach another one to it and have a double mattress. Another good point is it comes with a 1 year warranty.

I highly recommend buying this product I’m even thinkimg of buying another one to make it in to a double.

Needed a camping mat at short notice, and this one ticked all the boxes. Easy to setup with the footpump in a couple minutes, click together easily and fit snugly within my tent. Disassembly was as seamless and even fit back in the bag without a fight!

Thus airbed is very easy to inflate thanks to the clever built-in foot pump at the end of the bed. Once inflated it offers a very comfortable night’s sleep. Once deflated it packs away quite small into it’s own carry bag. I would highly recommend this air bed as it does the job well for a reasonable price.

After looking over many inflatable camp beds, I kept being drawn back to this one due to the shape and overall appearance of comfort. I am so happy with the ease of inflating it and speaking from a guy who has had major lumbar spine surgery and suffers lower back issues, this really did add so much comfort to lay down on and the shape really moulds to your body, highly recommend to anyone camping or even when you have a gazillion family over for the holidays and require an extra place for someone to pass out, they will be comfy.

Having that foot pump built AND a pillow is a gamechanger – packs aways really small too. Here is a picture – you have to turn it around so you aren’t sleeping on the valve that you can see in the pic.

It is pretty firm but not too firm but you can adjust that when pumping it up . I am quite small 163cm/5’4″ and there is plenty pf space for me and as a side sleeper I found it stable and never felt like i was hitting the ground. I was in a standard sized Alpkit Solist tent and it is nearly too long for that tent but it is a small tent.

DURABILITY – only had one use but i will do a follow up review to let you know if it is still holding up working after 5-6 uses.

I bought this bed for occasional camping that I do and was thinking it would be a good idea to get an airbed that doesn’t need a hand/electric pump…..and I was pleasantly surprised. It was so easy to inflate/deflate.

When I opened the deflated bed, I was ready to send it back as it was so long and I thought it would never fit in a standard tent….however, I was wrong!!
Just to make sure I got another single airbed (that I have already), pumped it up, inflated the new airbed and laid them on top of each other and found they were both virtually the same length once inflated!

I have not used it yet but I would currently recommend it to a friend as, the colour is fab (I chose the turquoise bed), it inflated/deflates easily and also fits in the bag without any hassle.

Appears very high quality. Comfortable and supportive. Seems robust. Inflation takes a little longer than suggested, but still practical to do everyone’s in a reasonable time period when setting up the tent.

The pack size is surprisingly small compared to mats containing foam. It was easy to get inflate and seems quite comfy to lie on, though when you sit or move unevenly you can feel the floor slightly. Pillow is very hard, as other reviewers have said it would be good to have a separate valve for the pillow so you can adjust the fill. Top is slightly rustly when moving on it, would be good to maybe have a softer material on top. Construction quality appears good, both my teenage boys seem impressed with it. Haven’t yet taken it out on a camping trip so will see how it holds up.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersHaving read earlier reviews before purchasing I got very much what I expected. The product does it’s job adequately. It comes as a very compact size, however I could not reduce it to that same size after use as I struggled to get all the air out. I’m not sure whether to could call it self inflating as you do have to pump it up using your foot on the valve at the base of the airbed but this was hardly difficult and worked efficiently within a short space of time. It does, when fully inflated, even though thin compared to conventional air beds, give sufficient comfort when sleeping on one’s side with ones hip closest to the ground. However like another reviewer pointed out, the pillow is solid! I slept on it for 3 weeks in a tent and whilst I was glad to get back to my soft mattress back home I felt that this airbed served it’s purpose well. Hope this helps.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersI have used this camping mat twice this Summer. Once in Dorset and also in Connemara Ireland. It’s a great bit of kit and I am delighted with it. It is easy to inflate and holds it’s air only needing the odd top up after a few days. It packs up into a really compact size, much better than the traditional, cumbersome roll mats. It’s pretty light and I would be happy with the weight if backpacking for the advantages it gives. I found it very comfortable to sleep on, it’s no super sprung deluxe mattress but hey we’re camping here. At 57 years my bones are not what they used to be and I found the contoured design really adapted comfortably to my body shape and gave a pretty good night’s sleep. Most importantly, it’s design supports you to keep you off the ground so that you don’t get your body heat drawn away from you into the ground during the night. I like the idea of the pop studs on the sides of the mat that enable two or more mats to be joined together, making things cosier and bodies less likely to slip off the mat during the night. One only disadvantage was that the incorporated pillow was a little high for me but that was easily remedied by adjusting your sleeping bag to compensate to the correct angle that suits the individual. My 21 year old son has also used it and he said he had no issue with this and as I’ve said, we are camping here. The mat is easy to deflate and put away into it’s storage bag. Overall a great buy that I am delighted with and so would recommend to others

Overall the quality of item and impressions from the company exceeded expectations and are of a very high standard. The product itself is lightweight and build with high standards and quality material, feels very comfortable to lay on and is super easy to inflate! (Just unplug the valve and pump up for just about a minute with your hands or foot! (No external pump required). The colour is cool (teal) and the size is not small when inflated so it will fit pretty much anyone. It all compacts in a stylish bag like a mini sleeping bag and is a breeze to carry. For this price point it this item is exceptional and I would recommend this camping mattress and the company AKSOUL. I will be using more of their products after this discovery.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI ordered 2 of these. 1 of them is fine, stays inflated all night. The 2nd unfortunately has a slow puncture somewhere and is flat by the morning. Sadly i ordered these in march and blew them up quickly to test but was not aware of the leak. I have only just used these for a whole night after a change of plans and now cannot return as out of the returns period. I would recommend to try these out for a whole night before being satisfied, the one that stays inflated is suitable for sleeping on for camping as was its intended use. 4 stars as only half my order is useable

I purchased the the blue version as space was limited on a motorcycle tour.

I was very sceptical when the mat arrived as it was very small, ideal for my packing needs however I was worried about the comfort

On the first night I found it easy to inflate and after an hour I gave it a little extra inflation.
As I sat on it I did find my hand going on the ground I was genuinely concerned it wouldn’t offer any support for my body while sleeping. In fact I couldn’t have been more wrong, when lying on it the air seems to get evenly distributed and the mattress was extremely comfortable, evened out the ground and stayed fully inflated all night plus it provided good insulation from the ground.

    I highly recommend this mattress.

Was this easy to inflate? Yes, very. Was it lightweight? Reasonably so. Was it comfortable? Honestly? Only partially. Certainly the length and width are comfortable enough, but I could still feel every lump and bump on the ground underneath. I solved the problem by putting a folded towel and clothing between me and the mattress, but I think on a long camping trip I would have to have a foam mattress of some sort, which rather defeats the purpose of having a lightweight inflatable mattress.

I bought this to go on top of a camp bed at a festival and it didn’t disappoint. It was lightweight to carry which is very important when you’re acting as a pack horse. I was drawn to the self inflating option, while this does work I felt it didn’t give a 100 per cent inflation to make it comfortable enough to give the full effect of not sleeping on a uneven ground.
Once fully inflated it is very comfortable and quite spacious, deflating was very quick.
Appears well made, comfortable material to sleep on or even sit on, enough strength for 2 average size people to sit side by side without dipping or pushing all the air to 1 area.
I think it is ok calue if you are planning on doing a lot of travelling, not something t be used once a year for camping in the garden.
Rolls up well and comes with it’s own carry bag which is a nice touch.

Blew this up in high heat on the Thursday afternoon. By bed time the temp had dropped so had to top up the air in it after that I didn’t need to put anymore air in til the Sunday night and that was only because I liked it fully inflated. Super comfy couldn’t feel the floor at all. I put it on top of a thick yoga mat as I was scared of it being damaged and apart from it being a bit warmer to sleep on the level of comfort wasn’t any different to when I didn’t use the yoga mat. Very light. Fits in a small bag that it comes with. Super easy to inflate. I set up in the rain in a tent you couldn’t stand in so instead of using the built in pump I did blow it up by mouth doesn’t take that much air to inflate so wasn’t there ages. Also super easy to deflate and get back into bag

Finally got to use this on a stay away this weekend.

Found the inflation nozzle and pump a little awkward to use and it took a little longer to inflate than a similar bed that I have, however once up it is extremely comfortable.

An excellent camping mattress if you want to reduce the weight and size of equipment without compromising significantly on comfort.

Also really easy to deflate by releasing the nozzle at the pillow end and it rolled flat and back in the bag with easy.

Another feature I noticed is the sides of the mat inflate slightly higher so less likely to roll off (hopefully!).

  43. AlisaBevill says:

     United Kingdom

It’s not self inflating (I didn’t even know there was such a thing) you have to stamp on the valve a bit to get the air into it, which is fine for what we need it for. There’s none of us here are too feeble to pump our leg a bit to get it to inflate.

It’s about the size of a skinny li-lo and is long enough for a 6′ person to sleep on.
Open the flap that sits on the section that feels like a little soft brick. With that side upwards start stepping on it with the ball of your foot over the hole. Lift your foot a little off the hole to let new air in. The idea is to force the air down into the length of the mattress and this took us about 2 or 3 minutes.

Getting the air back out takes a bit longer (about 4 or 5 minutes) and just involves opening fully the other valve (again, so that it opens like the empty neck of a bottle) and just rolling it up from the opposite end until it’s pretty flat. Fold in the sides and start rolling again and it easily rolls up small enough to get it back in the bag.

It’s not to horrible to lie on either, even as a side sleeper. However, we’ve only tried lying on it indoors to try it out, we haven’t tried it out camping yet. With a base layer and a tent base plus this on top of a grassy surface I imagine it wouldn’t be too terrible.

It’s okay once you get the hang of it and as temporary sleeping surface while out and about (or on the pull down benches in a camper van) it’s okay.

The pump inside has a foam layer above it.
The pump works with presses of the foot.

At first glance this sleeping mat doesn’t look like much but it’s design is fantastic. It takes a few minutes to inflate with the build in pump, which is cushioned and comfortable to use. There are poppers on the side should you wish to add another mat. When inflating the mat shrinks inwards, this causes the ridges to form which creates a robust sleeping structure which can support a plus size person. It is surprisingly comfy and stays inflated well. Highly recommend, a fantastic addition to any camping equipment.

This camping mat is very clever, I really like how easy it is to use and how easy it is to inflate. I did initially worry that I wouldn’t be able to do it or that it would be complicated like the ones that I’ve used in the past but it wasn’t it was just so easy! I really like the size of the camping mat, I feel it’s very comfortable to lay on when blown up and I like the colour and design. It is definitely comfortable to sleep on overnight as I’ve used it whilst camping with the family and I actually enjoyed my sleep! The mat itself is very lightweight and I like that I don’t have to bring an extra pump or anything in order to inflate it I can just do that with my foot. I like how quick it inflates and how the air stays inside without leaking overnight, when I woke up I wasn’t flat on the floor which was great! It’s very portable and perfect for travelling in my opinion. I haven’t had any issues using it or setting it up at all and it does exactly what I need it to do. The value for money is very good and I do highly recommend this one for camping or sleepovers et cetera .

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersBuild

Once inflated the sleeping mat is more robust than I thought it would be, though I don’t really buy into the advertising of its use on rocks as a sharp edge would no doubt cause it to pop. The material feels strong and has a different finish on either side depending on the season for use, grey is more for autumn and the green side is for summer months. The inflating value and caps are solid and don’t undo from pressure of sleeping on the mat. There is also three repair patches included should a tear develop.

    Usage

Used over the course of a 4 day bank holiday weekend as my main sleeping bed and was amazed at actually how comfy the mat was, inflated in just under two minutes and ready to use. Did not cause excessive feeling of heat from the material and the the clearance from the ground was rather natural feeling. The air cells / pockets provided a very good level of support over the length of my body, with the shaped pillow section providing a good level of head support with or without a separate pillow. The foot of the mat is also shaped to accommodate the natural position of your feet when laid on your back. The mats can also be joined together with the built-in snaps to make a larger sleeping area or lounging pad.

Overall the sleeping mat impressed me, it is a very good and handy piece of kit. The self inflating feature works well and the deflation value allows for quick removal of air to pack up, secure with the included band and bag up ready to be on the move again. Ideal for those who do a lot of camping or even if you just needed a spare sleeping area for an unexpected guest.

    Review from my husband:

I’ve recently been getting all the bits and bobs together for a two-man tent for me and my wife. We already have one pump up mattress which is ok, but this bad boy is the best camp bed/mattress I’ve ever had, well almost. It says it’s self-inflating and can be done in little as two minutes, but I don’t quite believe that because I tried and I was knackered after 5 mins. It has a foam cushion at one end, which acts as a pump when repeatedly depressed/stood on and it’s not the best I tell you…but hey ho. I have a lovely little wireless air pump which had the beast inflated in no time, and for all its misgivings, this is the comfiest thing ever, so much so my wife snaffled it in seconds and told me in no uncertain terms, it is hers, so it must be good. But with the right pump, it’s up in seconds, and if you don’t have a pump you’ll be there for a bit longer, but make no bones about it you’ll have a great sleep. I reckon it is also good for anyone up to 6ft. 4/5 great bed / bad self-inflating pump.

Fantastic camp bed. One of the best we've got.

I chose this product for when my grandchildren have sleepovers with friends.

We are also all going on holiday in the summer and they will need camp beds in some places we are staying as there are not enough beds.

These are perfect as they take a very short while to inflate and the children enjoy inflating them.

The children find them comfortable to sleep on but an adult may find them less comfortable.

The material is not slippery so they don’t slide off them.

These are great emergency beds for sleepovers and camping.

The title is mis leading as it isn’t self inflating as such, it has a built in pump so you do I am afraid need to pump it up with your foot however it does not take long, a couple of minutes and its ready to go. You can connect more than one to make it a double bed if you want to which I think is a great feature. It stays inflated all night and can hold a large weight without any issues.

This camping sleeping pad is great for our summer camping trips.

Its self inflating so don’t need to carry excess weight of the pump.

It’s slow to inflate but it does eventually inflate.

It also has a great shape pillow which is handy and saves me bringing a pillow too.

Deflating the pad is also easy and slow like when inflating.

Perfect for camping as its lightweight too.

I needed a replacement inflatable mattress so when I saw this it was perfect timing, but then I saw another by another manufacturer so thought I’d do a comparison between the two to give a better review. Between the two this one was in my opinion a little more comfy, but there’s not a huge amount in it, price wise they’re comparative, currently 3 difference.

Inflating this takes about 3-4 mins, first time it made a couple of loud pop sounds! but I think that was just internal creases etc popping out, as it didn’t deflate. Comfort wise, this is fine when you’re laying on it. Sitting on it’s a different matter, as your weight is localised it disperses the air and you’re sitting directly on the floor, but when you lay down it supports your weight well, even when laying on your side. For reference I’m 6′ and weight around 12 stone, and it was comfy enough. As I mentioned it was slightly more comfortable than the other brand, this is due to the shape of the individual segments, that run across the mattress, the competitor mattress resembled a Chesterfield sofa and that’s just not as comfortable. As I said, it’s a minor thing, but I personally preferred this design.

The material up close has a weave pattern to it, and looked like it was a bit thicker and stronger, but again this is a minor thing (but maybe worth the extra 3). overall weight is 970g

I tested the mattress for 24hrs leaving some hefty books and boxes on it and it didn’t deflate at all

    Hope that helps

The colour of this mat is gorgeous. Easy to set up and air doesn’t seep out of it so stays plump until deflated. Comfy and portable so would be happy to recommend.

Very useful sleeping bag, very easy to inflate and deflate, quite comfortable, although it’s not thick/high when inflated you can feel comfortable. It is very light and easy to transport as it fits nicely in its bag so it fits anywhere. It is water proof, and it’s quality looks pretty good too. I would recommend it.

I was very impressed using this roll mat on a recent camping trip. The mat came in a very compact bag made possible by the mat being folded in on itself before being rolled and packed away – a process that is easy to do after use. The mat itself has two valves to inflate the mat – one on each side of the mat. These valves are big enough so that you can use an inflating machine if you have one, however I ended up using the internal foot pump that’s inside the roll mat and it was superb – easy to use, and it had the mat fully inflated in just under 3 min. Once fully inflated, the mat is sturdy, solid and offers great back support. The “pillow” which is included as part of the mat offered excellent head support too. As a result, I had a very good night’s sleep.

The pattern on the mat is uneven with many little bumps and this actually adds to the comfort has it creates less contact with the body, resulting in a more “airy” night’s sleep. The materials used on the mat is also impressive – the plastic valves are good quality and the rubber used for the mat is robust and tough so will not puncture easily. I have used many inflating roll mats over the years and I can honestly say that is this one of, if not the best. Its very compact-able and very comfortable when in use and is easy to inflate. I would certainly recommend it!

Camping Sleeping Mat Self Inflating: 12cm Thick Lightweight Single Camp Air Bed & Connectable Double Camping Pads & Compact Ultralight Inflatable Roll Camping Mattress for Outdoor Hiking Backpacking.

My husband goes away for a few nights at a time on fishing trips, always the same place as he has a paid membership there so he’s taken this with him to sleep on and test out for me.

He already had one that was more expensive yet not as good and as comfortable as this one……. This is easy to inflate and Deflate with the in built foot pump.

It’s made of a nylon material and is nearly 5 inches thick, it’s 78.7 inch long and 26 inch wide.
One side is green and the other is gray, both sides can be used.

The quality feel very good and as for durability only time will tell.
Can recommend and the price is reasonable.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersIdeal, highly recommend. Used while staying at my nans for a week and it didn’t disappoint. Very easy to inflate and there was a good depth of ‘cushionning’ between me and the floor. Stayed fully inflated for three nights before I topped up slightly, which took literally seconds. Soo comfy I almost forgot I was on an Inflatable! For personal preference, I slept with my usual pillow placed slightly below where the built in one is and I didn’t, as feared, end up with any aches or pains at all. Honestly, one of the best purchases I have made travel/camping wise and wise I had bought sooner. Great price too

This self inflating mat is exactly what we needed for our caravan.
We have a double bed and this aaaa ok for us but since the arrival of our two sons ,it gets a bit crowded ,so my husband agreed to sleep on the floor 🙂
This mat is perfect as it fits on the remaining space perfectly ,it is easy to inflate and it does not require too much space in our already filled up caravan 🙂
It is what we needed and although is not yet the time of traveling he decided to give it a try one night and was quite happy with it.
Comfy enough for a inflatable mat he did got some good sleep during the night so Is definitely fit for the purpose .
I am most amazed by the size it is once packed which makes it perfect for any type of camping .
Waterproof and durable fabric ,made to last up well with bad weather conditions.
Overall it is a mat fit for the purpose for a decent price.

I wanted to have an inflatable mattress at home for when there are more visitors than can fit in the house!
When inflated it is not very hard, nor is it very thick, but you don’t feel the floor when you lie down. When you put your weight on it, it makes the other areas of the mattress harder and under more pressure. It is comfortable. The design is quite simple, with a built-in pillow.
I had tried a similar foot pump on another mat, which didn’t work, so I had my doubts about this one as well. But in this case it worked well. It’s always quicker to do it with your mouth, but it saves you that effort.

This ultralight inflatable camping sleeping mat from Aksoul is compact, sturdy and comfortable. It’s blue on one side and grey on the other side. It’s a smart idea, but I do feel a lack of a dark brown colour option is a bit of a missed opportunity especially if you need this in a natural environment such as in the forest.

My son wanted something like this so he could spend most of his time in the garden relaxing and reading books so I can only comment on the suitability of this product in the garden.

It’s made from a good quality 40D nylon material which is strong and durable. It’s super easy to inflate and deflate with the built in foot pump, and it literally took him less than 2 minutes to do this. Quite impressive!

It is surprisingly durable for something so light. It has provided my son a comfy clean spot on the garden grass and since he is satisfied, I am also satisfied.

Priced at 35.95 (with an additional 10% discount at the time of writing), seems like a reasonable price to pay for a good quality and functional product.

In short, a good quality and sturdy sleeping mat that’s super easy to inflate and deflate. It’s an easy recommendation from us.

This blow up bed comes well packed in its own little and its easy to store away with camping gear/bedding our garden shed. Once unrolled it was easy to pump up put your foot over the pump lift up and down and pump it it took about 3 minutes in total. once blow up a nice size not very thick. my boy loved this to lie on in the garden when we had some some when trying it myself was a little un comfy due to the thinness but as a topper on a camping bed this would be perfect for a quick put together.

Really great sleeping mat. Good quality material, small pack size and only takes a couple of minutes to inflate with your hand or foot. Comfortable when laying on and supports well with none of you touching the ground. Out of all the sleep mats I own this is by far the widest and it’s nice to have your arms supported as well, instead of hanging off the edge of the mat. Has fastener studs along edge should you wish to join two together. Really fast to deflate and packs back into stuff sack very easily. Very impressed. Excellent for the price.

Quality sleeping mat with built in manual pump.

The best thing about this mat is that is really light weight and folds up nice and small so it is perfect to take camping. It folds out easily and is relatively easy to inflate once you get into the rhythm of it. You use your foot to cover the whole and then press your foot up and down quickly. It takes a couple of minutes to inflate. There are inflatable mats on the market that do actually self inflate but they tend to be bigger so for the sake of a few minutes this is a great design.

It can be described with 2 adjectives: versatility and portability.
The material with which it is made is durable, resistant to punctures and water, ensuring strength.
It adapts to your body to ensure total rest.
Comes with a travel bag that allows you to carry it anywhere.
Practical to inflate and deflate, very compact when deflated.

Camping Sleeping Self Inflating Mat: 10cm Thick Lightweight Single Camp Air Bed & Connectable Double Camping Pads & Compact Inflatable Roll Camping Mattress for Outdoor Hiking Backpacking.

This is a good quality inflatable mattress, it has a built in foot pump on the end, it doesn’t take long to inflate and is very comfortable.

My husband has already used this on one of his overnight fishing trips, he sleeps in a bivvi so he used this to sleep on and it didn’t go flat throughout the night like alot of cheap ones do.
He says he had a comfortable night’s sleep on it with no issues.

The material is nice, it’s made of a heavy duty nylon and TPU, it’s waterproof and can withstand a weight upto 200kg.
It’s 10cm thick and of a good length and width, most suitable for a 6ft man or woman.

Its double sided so both sides can be used to sleep on, one side is gray and the other is a turquoise colour.

I can reccomend and considering the quality it is reasonably priced.
Will hopefully last a good time.

Easy to use and good quality!

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI got this for my 2 year old to lay on when we have days out at the beach etc.
He absolutely loves it, so does my nephew. And to be fair, so do I.
It’s very easy to inflate, once inflated, it’s comfortable.
I personally wouldn’t be able to get a full nights sleep on it but I’m not a camper so appreciate my home comforts.
It folds up very neatly and compact and comes with a carrier so it’s easy to store and transport.
The price is a bit expensive; however, it does self inflate so it removes the hassle of needing to carry a blower etc with you.
Overall I’m pleased and would recommend.

I got this for my daughter for a few reasons, so he goes camping a lot in summer and festivals also she’s at university and her friends visit her and she needs a inflatable mattress for these reasons.
I comes rolled up compact in a drawstring bag so it’s ideal taking camping as it compact and lightweight., what we like with this is hype don’t need a pump to inflate you just in roll it so it’s flat on floor and you you pump your foot up and down on the bottom of the mattress and as you do that it slowly inflates the mattress from inside which is good as only takes a short time to inflate, when inflated it is a good size and she tells me it is comfortable to lye in, she’s really pleased with it and will get plenty of use out of it in the future and when not in use it fold down very compact and is stored in its own drawstring bag , and it’s very reasonably priced.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersThis is a large and comfortable camping sleeping mat , definitely one of the biggest I’ve used and still has a lightweight compact pack size , so it easily fits into your backpack and won’t weigh you down.

I’m not a huge fan of the built in pillow as I like to use my own soft pillow but the mat is very comfortable to lay on , it’s 10cm thick so you won’t feel the hard ground through it when camping.

I like that it’s wide too at 69cm , so it’s good for me as im quite big at 6ft 3 and 19 stone , I find the length to be really good too , some Mats are too short for me, so if you are tall, this is a good choice.

The handy built in pump means you don’t have to huff and puff to blow this up , use your foot to pump up the mat it takes a couple of minutes to inflate.

You can still use your mouth to blow it up if you like , some pumps may fit too.

For a mat with these dimensions over 190cm long , 69cm wide 10cm thick it is lightweight and compact enough to take on wild camps or trekking.

This mat is best for warmer months , spring to autumn as there’s no insulation for camping on cold ground, but for camping in the warmer months this is a comfortable camping mat.

For just over 30 I think that’s a fair price for a large camping mat like this.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersWell as a single airbed I did think it seemed quite long when I rolled it out, but I realised it has a pillow built in the end, and it works really well!

A quick read of the simple instruction manual later and I was away inflating and testing it:
To inflate you open the valve on the small ‘lump’ in the one end, that ‘lump’ being a built-in rectangular spongy thing that is in fact the foot pump. When pumping it you sort of seal your foot over the valve opening when you press it down and it seems to have an internal one-way valve that inflates the bed without air escaping back under your foot when you lift it. It works really well… so much so I thought it might take ages to inflate, but literally within a couple of minutes (maybe less in fact) the bed was fully inflated and pretty solid!
I’m about 90kg or so and it works fine with me on it, and I found the pillow end to be about right too. It’s actually quite comfortable to lay on.

Putting away was just as easy. I opened the pump valve, squashed it flat and closed the valve. The spongy block inside stayed flat…
Then I opened the valve at the pillow end and started to fold up the airbed as per the instructions… within a minute or so it was totally folded & rolled so small it dropped straight into the drawstring bag that it came in.
It’s really lightweight and quite small when packed away, ideal for backpackers for example as some airbeds can be quite bulky even when fully deflated. This one is very compact and light by comparison.

So overall this has turned out to be one of the better single airbeds I’ve encountered thus far, and I have a few believe me! We’ve been campers for years now and have amassed some kit, and this airbed is going to one that certainly gets some use now.
    Very happy with this one!
