This was an expensive purchase for me but its worth it. I can dry loads of washing in my small house and not have any condensation problems. It has been great for drying clothes throughout the winter.
Very good dryer, but a little noisy. Only use it occasionally to finish drying items which have been air dried but remain damp. Seems to be fairly energy efficient. If it was used a lot it would be costly to run, I only need to use it once a week for about 1 to 2 hours at most so works for me.

It dries OK and is very quiet. A good price for an occasional use dryer. Still trying to understand the programs, as the manual is not entirely clear. No idea who thought an NFC app on your phone to select the program was a good idea!

Came very well packed to avoid damage and easy to get working straight away. Only slight difficulty was trying to adjust the feet to account for an uneven utility room floor as only the front feet adjust and the height is limited so it can be tricky.
Plenty of programs and water tank and fluff filters are easy to get to and empty.
Noise levels are fine , very energy efficient and dries very quickly. Still surprised that heat pump models are available for this sort of price and can only hope reliability doesn’t suffer.
So far delighted with the Candy and at the price, definitely can’t see any downside to it being a lower priced model, other than the app only seems to work on Android for remote use.
Would I recommend it? .. absolutely !
This is a very highly specified heat pump tumble dryer for the price you pay, which is a minimum of 50% less than you’ll pay for something from Korea or Germany.
A++ efficiency means it’s going to be considerably more economical to run when compared to the older condenser type dryers and let’s not even discuss the even older vented types as they drink electricity like it’s going out of fashion and can easily cost 250 per annum to run.
It has an automatic moisture sensor plus something like 14 programmes to choose from. Additional settings include time delay, 4 x levels of dryness, rapid, timed drying and anti-crease, which adds a reverse action to the programme. Not all of these additional settings can be added to all of the programmes, which is particularly true of the full load cottons programme, recommended by Candy as the most efficient but this only allows for a time delay, although it does utilise the automatic moisture sensor.
We use the White setting as this is for a full load but also allows the full selection of additional features, so it’s easier to tailor it to your needs. The only negative of this dryer for me is the lack of a reverse action on all programmes as this really helps reduce creasing but this is a minor negative given the low price, low running cost and the comprehensive features. The 10kg model is only 25 more on Amazon.
Very pleased with my tumble dryer. I haven’t used the App to use the remote operation but using it manually have been very happy.

This is working well for us so far. Upgrading from a traditional condenser dryer to this heat pump and it is a shock. With the dryer being in the utility room, the old one would heat up the room and the adjoining kitchen when operating. This new one is not warmer than a washing machine. So it clearly is reusing that heat and must be very efficient.
Clothes are coming out well and it is functioning exactly as hoped so far. No nasty surprises. I haven’t used all the facilities yet but I’ll add to this review over time.
The removal of the waste water is very simple and easy. No mess. The filter works excellently and is again easy and simple to remove.
