I really like how this cable is designed, as it makes it more easier having it placed round corner edges, as I feel it doesn’t damage the cable unlike other cables out there that over time will get damaged or cut.

You also get it made out of material that feels top graded and not flimsy like other brands out there, and you can order like in many length from 1M to 30M if needed, allowing you to easily have it going from your broadband downstairs to upstairs with plenty of length left over if need, I decided to go with the 2M option, as I already have a 30M cable going from downstairs to upstairs, but I am planning to change that to this brand as It seems more reliable for the long run.

The connection when online is stable and I get a slight better range with downloading and uploading now as I did with previous cables, but again every broadband provider offers different speeds but for what I get its nice knowing that I get to keep the same speeds as I should get for online use when gaming or streaming.

I brought 3 of these but planning to buy more for my set up. Highly recommended product.

Unless you have your router right next to your pc then the size isn’t enough. I use this on my wifi extender whenever I have connectivity issues on my laptop. So far so good, it works like a charm and provides 1 gb of my internet thanks to no limitations from the cat8. These are thin and useful if you have a longer one that needs to be routed behind furniture.

I wasn’t sure if this would actually improve the quality of my internet on my PC but have to admit i have seen a little improvement over the standard cable that was provided by Virgin Media.

My PC is right next to the router so i only needed a small cable and the smallest i could find was 1M, which is just enough to connect my PC and not leave a mess of wires behind.

The cable itself is super highy quality and it’s flat so makes it easier if you wanna hid it somewhere or bend it over something.

Sonst reicht natrlich Cat 6 bzw.

This CAT 8 cable enables a high speed LAN connection for my devices without any bottlenecks or connectivity issues. Being 10m in length and slim profile I am able to run the cable a good distance and keep it hidden away. The braided nylon cover is strong and I find I don’t have any of the entanglement issues of other similarly long cables. The connectors feel good quality, strong and secure. Recommended.

One of the biggest bugbears is poor quality cable and connectors. They are forever tangling and need to be hidden in cable management systems to make them look tidy. This cable fails none of those tests. Braided and very neat looking, it doesn’t hang perfectly because of course as you got up from Cat5 through the higher ratings, bend radii get bigger but this cable isn’t stiff. Good connectors too.

Obviously backwards compatible but it’s worth saying so.

The Cat8 cables have a higher specification for shielding than cat6 and cat7 all of them are capable of gigabit transfer speeds but this improves the issues of data loss. Most people are not going to notice the difference on a home network. The braided cable is good as I always find that the plastic cables are more prone to breakage which is the most common reason for needing to replace a cable. This is hard wearing and useful for places where there will be time when the cable will be plugged and unplugged.

  44. Nickolas7799 says:

You don’t get much need for a short cable like this other than between your main networking equipment and that’s where I used mine, swapping out the cat5e cable between my router and a switch and while the difference in speed is minimal to the average household user, I have noticed slight improvements in speed but it has been more noticeable with ping and jitter when testing local speed between machines and the server.

The cable itself feels well made, it is flat which can look nicer than round cables and often easier to route but with 1m you’re not likely to be worrying about that, the cable is braided in silver/black patterned nylon so looks good and feels sturdy.

This Ethernet cable literally gleams with its excellence of manufacture. I don’t think it is possible, at present, to buy an Ethernet cable of higher quality it looks magnificent and the outer braiding resembles the markings of a snake. The venom is in the incredible speed 2000 MHz bandwidth and capable of transmitting 40 Gb/sec of data transfer. If you need to stream video, or download storage from the cloud, or any other large amounts of data, this is the cable for you.

The outer double braiding is of woven herringbone fibre and appears to be of a tough specification to withstand much wear and tear. The cable is flat, so it is designed to run inconspicuously under carpets, behind skirting boards, through narrow spaces, etc. Being flat, it does not tangle very easily, as do some rounded cables. The four inner pure copper cables are twisted, foiled, and heavily shielded, so you will not experience any interference problems. The connectors are a beautiful work of art in themselves 24 karat gold plated, RJ45 specification, with a precision locking mechanism which ensures they do not accidentally unplug after you have connected them up. They come with plastic protectors on them, which you can easily press and slide off.

These are category 8 cables, the newest and highest specification you can get, but they are also backward compatible with other earlier specifications, eg: Cat5, Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6e, Cat7. They connect to a wide range of devices eg: Modems, Routers, Wi-Fi boosters, Computers, Laptops, Printers, Switch Boxes, Media Players, other Network Devices, etc. I connected mine to my computer and router which were located at a distance in different rooms, and it worked perfectly, with no drop in performance over 10 metres. The cable is also available in 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 10 metre lengths to suit your specific requirements.

If you need a high speed Ethernet cable which is very well made, efficient and reliable. this one is highly recommended.

I ordered this to run from my home office to my living room on the outside wall, I needed three network cables for this run so I added this to two others that I had previously ordered.
This cable has high quality gold plated connectors at both ends of the cable to ensure a good connection to devices and switches. The braided outer sleeving feels strong and hard wearing but is still flexible enough to run around tight bends.
I have run this along with another two similar CAT8 cables, two of the cables including this one are run from my NAS units 2 X 10GBe networks ports and the other cable from a 24 port gigabit switch, all of which are in my home office. These then run through the wall and down the outside and then back through the wall into my living room where one connects to another 24 port gigabit switch and the other two connect to my routers gigabit ports.
I don’t have anything faster than 1 gigabit at the moment other than my NAS but since these cables are pretty much permanently in place I wanted them to be as future proof as possible so that when I do upgrade my switches and router the cables will be able to cope with the higher speeds.
As it is, I can now stream several 4k videos at the same time to different devices at the same time as playing music all from my NAS server and I have no issues with buffering or stuttering at all.
When connecting this cable at each end the connector snaps into place with a very satisfying click and holds perfectly tight across all of the wires, even with pulling lightly and wiggling the cable the connectors send and receive the fast data flow without interruption.
Terrific cable for now and the future.
    Recommended.

This cat 8 Ethernet Cable allows up to 40Gbps of Data transfer speeds, it’s one of the fastest cables I have seen. This cable is well built being flat makes it easier to install anywhere. The end connectors are gold plated giving better transmission of data, the connectors are well built and solid. I use this cable to connect to my 8 port switch from my router. My switch then has 7 outputs to various devices, because this cable supports maximum of 40gbps to my switch I am able to output the maximum bandwidth to my devices. This Cat 8 cable is shielded so will prevent interference with other cables and power sources. Overall this cable is future proof and supports most Bandwidths and is compatible with older Cat Cables.

Nicely packaged, good quality, flat, braided cable capable of running at Cat 8 speeds which is more than sufficient for home users.

Being a flat cable means you can run this under the carpet or other awkward areas, for me with this being a 5M cable went under the carpet and behind a fixed bookcase – absolutely perfect for my needs. However there is some resistance, as you would expect, so don’t go thinking you’ll be able to bend this to perfect 90 degree angles!

The connectors are good quality and not cheap plasticky feeling, they come with little clear plastic boots on them something you never get on cheaper cables and make a good click sound when pushed into the ethernet ports.

When this was hooked up to my switch and NAS I got the maximum throughput you’d expect on a 1GB port with headroom to spare should I upgrade things in the future.

At the time of writing, this 5M cable is just under 10, which I think is an absolute bargain for what you get – if you are in need of something like this then this should be top of your list.

This is a good quality cable which has a nice braid around the cabling and good quality connectors. at Cat 8 it is lightning fast and quicker than any file transferring that I will probably be using it for or my current hardware can handle. Looks and feels like the real deal with a nice low profile flat cable which will fit well under carpets etc. If your looking for something that will be future proofed this is it, and a fair price for a 10m cable at 18. happy to recommend.

Cat 8 is super overkill for any home use at the time of writing (supports up to 40Gbps connections) so I wasn’t able to test how it performs at that level. Despite this, judging the cable on its merits here in 2021 where the average household will have at best a 1gbps port on their router and on their devices this is still a very good cable.

The cable is braided and flat, which makes it sturdy but also flexible enough to be routed in tight places such as behind computers or connected to wall mounted TVs. I think the grey/black braiding looks nice too but your mileage may vary!

5.99 isn’t going to break the bank, but consider whether you need the future proofing or the aesthetic that comes with a premium cable like this when you can typically get 5x or even 10x cat 5e cables at this price point which will likely suffice for most people’s needs in 2021.

My old Ethernet cable unfortunately frayed and stopped working and this has been a quality replacement. The end connectors are solid and durable and seem like they will last a while. My old cable was mainly plastic and eventually they usually break but the braiding on this adds another layer of protection. The speed is great and is actually a little bit faster than my old one. Overall really happy, top quality cable for the price.

This is a high quality braided cable that feels like it will last for a very long time. The braid is soft to the touch and lays flat which is ideal for trailing it around the perimeter of a room like i have done. I’m actually using these in a work setting. Due to social distancing we have to move staff desks quite far apart. Unfortunately, our network points are all on one wall. We had two options, put in a wifi node (expensive) or get a long ethernet cable and use the existing network points.

This cable worked perfectly for our needs. It is CAT8, more than good enough for our purposes and was easy to tack it to the wall and in some places, put under rugs. We had to do this for five machines initially but have added several more, which is why we needed more cables. This is very flexible, so we can hide it easily.

    Perfect, no complaints.

This Ethernet cable is brilliant and hides well beneath the carpet I’ve rolled this under.
I use this for a PlayStation which is in another room from the router. (about 8 metres — so this 10metre cable was ideal)
I’ve used long cables before and found some can struggle a little but this one has done exactly what it’s promised, so far.
As I said, I’ve got this running beneath a thick carpet and, as this cable is flat, there’s no sign of it under there. Not even when walked over in bare feet.
This comes in a box and has transparent covers over the connectors on either end which protects the points until you need them.
In all, a fine, good length, Ethernet cable which helps with the quality of connection between your router and what ever you’re connecting to.

The Cat 8 cable is well made and comes in a variety of lengths. The one that I have been using is 10 metres and can be rolled/unrolled to the required length as it’s a very flexible.

The actual RG45’s are solid and come with a plastic cover over the connectors for initial protection. The clips and connector seem to be good quality and when using the cable the connection seems very fast between the router and PC. The product appears to be good quality for the money.

Well what’s to say but this cable is preforming brilliantly. I needed a solution for a new projector that I had which didn’t mean ripping up floors edges nor having a bulky HDMI cable running across my floor and all over my walls.

I used this in combination with an identical cable, which was longer and a ethernet to HDMI adapter.

It has worked perfectly and because the profile of this cable is small and easy to hide, the process has been easy and simple.

I have this at height from the adapter out end and then a HDMI into my projector. I’m very pleased.

This modern ethernet cable is so much easier to handle in my domestic environment than older plastic coated types. The braided coat is much more flexible and feels much less likely to kink and split. Being flat it’s much better for fitting through tight spaces or around corners.
This sample is Category 8 standard, so can handle much faster data transfer speeds over longer distances. The 10 metre length is ideal for a range of temporary connections in my office or for gaming. The plugs have aluminium shells and the pins are gold plated so I’m reassured as to the quality on offer. Recommended.

Though I have reviewed quite a number of Ethernet cables, this 10m Cat 8 is among my favourites.
Admittedly I’m already a flat cable convert, but everything about this one just feels and looks high quality.
You perhaps don’t normally expect an ethernet cable to look good, but this one just does.
The connectors on this are durable but easy to insert and take out. The cable is plenty long for a large room and easy and pliable to bend as required.
Performance seems very good excellent in terms of speed and throughput.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThis item comes nicely packaged in a branded box and it’s heavy so you know you’re getting quality. I stupidly didn’t notice it had different lengths so ended up with a whopping 10m length – 10 times more than I need given my router & PC are only a foot apart, but it comes in a nice tight coil that’s able to be kept like that and just pull out what you need. The downside of 10m is that it likely degrades the signal somewhat so only get that length if you’ve no choice.

The cable itself is flat which is different and reasonably malleable but just as stiff as a normal one in reality. Yes, you can bend it, but it’s wire ultimately and thus always finds its own position of “comfort”, which thus far hasn’t always been mine! But much of that is because of the ridiculous amount of it I’m having to squish into spaces not meant for so much! The RJ45 clips are gold plated and come with neat plastic covers which I’ve never seen on any previous ones, but they serve to ensure you get the best out of them from the start. They’re very solidly made and click in easily and firmly.

The biggest selling point for these is them being Cat8 which provides a greater level of speed and accuracy which is a great boon, especially for those with slower networks as it will ensure you’re squeezing every last byte of info out at the best speed possible. And the cable too is shielded to a higher degree than most, so will protect it from interference which is also valuable.

For me, whether because of the length of the cable or some other factor, I’ve not yet noticed any great difference in usage over my previous “ordinary” cable and I’m only using it on a “bog standard” PC with Win 10 – not a gaming machine. However, it’s certainly an excellent cable and is going to be invaluable up ahead as technology continues to race ahead at a crazy pace. I think certainly if you buy the right length it will prove a great cable for all needs from basic through to extreme gaming.

I really like this cable – it is rugged, doesn’t kink and the length doesn’t stop it having a good signal speed – there is no lag between my router and my husbands playstation.

I much prefer braided cables to rubber coated cables, they just feel so much better.

Good value for money, good quality and does a good job!

Nice sturdy flat cable does exactly what it needs to do with the added benefit of being able to hide under carpets and rugs and go around corners nicely without the fear of damaging cable.

The cable comes in next to no packaging it’s a basic box only slightly larger than the cable when wound so less waste which is always good.

Being cat8 you have the benefit of being future proof for a good time to come as cat6 is very much still a common standard.

I use this cable to connect to my Ethernet 8 port switch from my router. I use this as my main input cable for the 8 port Switch this gives me the maximum bandwidth possible. This Cat 8 cable is shielded so will prevent interference with other cables and power sources. Overall this cable is future proof and supports most Bandwidths and is compatible with older Cat Cables.

This is a high quality made ethernet cable with nylon braiding along the whole thing so it even looks better than other cables. The cable is flat so can be placed under carpet and not a hazard. The plugs are firm and sturdy. This cable will last a very long time in my opinion based on the visual construction and feel.

I have used this on my laptop and the speed is excellent, no complaints at all from me.

I would highly recommend this cable.

    Superb quality cat 8 cable.

Suitable for high bandwidth/ high performance applications.

Its a flat cable so can be run neatly and the connectors are very solid.

Using thiss cable in most traditional home setups means the cable will not be the bottleneck in your network for some time and whilst capable of high speed transmission the reality is most consumer kit wont get anywhere near using it to its full potential.

Using this on my laptop right now, the braided cable feels strudy and the connectors come with a cover to stop them being damaged.
With Ethernet cable the classic failure mode is that the click attachement breaks off and the wires become loose and give a poor connection. So far the clicky bits have stayed in place giving me a good clean connection.
    Quality feel – recommended.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersCat 8 Ethernet Cable 5M & 3M lengths, High Speed Gigabit Nylon Braided Lan Network

    Packaging and delivery
This cable comes in quite a nicely presented black box which has been designed for immediate retail shop floor positioning, printed information on the box details what the contents are.

    Package contents
5M Cat 8 ethernet cable which has been coiled and held in place by tie clips.

    Function and quality
This is a very well made ethernet cable which features nylon braiding along the entire length, the cable is flat thus designed to be placed under carpets and basically to keep a low profile. Both plugs have a plastic cover, the plugs have an aluminium housing which in turn leads onto the collar which is made from plastic and greets the cable entering the plug, this collar extends over the cable by about 0.5cm. The plugs seem to be gold plated and provide a firm, confident connection once plugged in my devices. This cable will last a very long time in my opinion based on the visual construction and feel.

On my existing home network, to test this cable I connected it to my laptop and Zyxel Multi-Gig 12-Port Unmanaged Switch which was in turn connected to my desktop PC via an existing Cat 8 cable. I transferred a 1gb file using a program called Speed Test and recorded 923Mbps download and 452Mbps upload. That’s about the best I’ll get as my laptop and desktop won’t handle anything above 1000Mbps, just goes to show that this cable will work just fine on existing networks.

We don’t necessarily need Cat 8 cables in the home at the moment, Cat 6 would be quite sufficient in providing the necessary bandwidth and speed considering that can offer 1000Mbps at 250MHz, the speed at which my latest Sky router will negotiate data is topped at 1000Mbps, it won’t go any faster. However, unlike Cat 6, 6e, and 7, Cat 8 cables not only offer shielded and twisted pairs in the copper wire internally, but unlike the rest, Cat 8 has an added shielding in the form of a foil layer to completely take out any interference and crosstalk. Also, Cat 8 cables offer POE and speeds of up to 40000Mbps at 2000MHz, completely far superior to all the older versions. Considering that our home internet speeds are increasing, having the latest and fastest ethernet cabling seems wise and a good future proof investment, even if your current PC or laptop can’t handle more than 1 Gbps, the chances are that in a few years time when you’ve upgraded and no doubt so has your ISP speed, you want to ensure that data can move fast around the house and not just be reduced at lower Cat cable speeds.

I also find that Cat 8 cables have a higher construction quality than previous Cat cables thus prolonging their life span, and don’t forget, Cat 8 cables are totally backward compatible, buying them now will still allow you to use them on the hardware in the home.

    Conclusion:
This is a top quality cable and competitively priced at only 8.49 for 5M, if a low profile, well made cable is what you’re after which is future proof then this will meet your needs.

    Specifications:
    Connectors – RJ45

This Cat8 ethernet cable screams quality. From the gold plated RJ45 connectors to the tough and flexible nylon braided covers and metal plugs. I really liked the small depressor switches on the cable end of the plugs that means you can release the cables from the sockets by following the cable back to the socket and depressing the switches rather than trying to reach around electronic, or furniture to get to a wall socket to find the cable releases. Being Cat8 it is compatible with up to 40Gbps data transfer and 2000MHz bandwidth. The flat cable also means it can easily be tucked under carpets or behind skirting boards. As good as it gets

Excellent cable that should future proof for many years to come. It’s not the longest but I wanted to patch from an existing switch to behind my unit. It was more that adequate for this.

I have this primarily for my PS5 and it’s working well. So far zero issues. I like the fact the end is distinctive so that I can unplug (when needed) it from my gig swtich.

The ends lock tight and the fabric outer feels robust.

    * incredibly fast data transfer. WoW!!!!
    * flat design allows for less “bump” when run under carpet rugs etc.
    * rugged nylon braided sleeve

As I have become increasingly frustrated at wi-if dead spots I have slowly but surely moving towards a wired environment. This short cable came in handy to connect a Smart TV Hub to the network. It does the job perfectly. No drop outs. Good speeds. And being Nylon braided likely to last longer than some of the cheaper Ethernet cables. I’ve refrained from giving five stars for durability as I have not had it long enough to test that point fully, but on build quality it looks like it will prove durable.

This is a good quality cable, it can be bent without problems and works even if you don’t have a gigabit connection. I have it plugged into the PlayStation to avoid Lag by wifi and it works. The RJ45 connectors are moulded onto the connector. The cable is black and is of the flat variety. Personally, I much prefer flat cables as they are so easy to hide behind furnishings and under carpets. The problem with round cables is that you can clearly see them under a carpet. Love the look and feel of the braided cable and being flat is perfect to hide a little bette

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI have two of these Folishine ethernet cables – one is 2m long while the other is 5m long. I’m using them for gaming and they are great – fast speeds and none of the disconnections I get with wi-fi. There’s no difference between them other than the length.

The cable comes with protective plastic caps for the gold-plated RJ45 connectors and is is nylon braided for durability. The braiding is high quality and feels soft rather than stiff, so it coils up well. The flat design means that it can be run under carpets or around furniture without taking much space, though I tend to only need to do that with longer cables.

Sometimes cables can feel a bit cheap – this one certainly doesn’t and as such I have no hesitation in recommending it, whatever length you go for. It’s well made, works perfectly, looks good and is easy to connect and disconnect.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThe cable arrived well package in a nice presentation box and also had protective covers on the plug ends which I thought was a nice touch.

I presently have a ethernet cable that runs from my router to a reasonably high level wall socket that goes through into a room where I connect my Apple TV box. The cable I had in it was an old Cat 5 grey wrinkly cable I’d had for a long time, it looked ugly.

I saw this cable and liked the fact that it was not only neatly braided but was also a bit longer and also Cat 8.

So far it has worked fine in supplying my Apple TV device and at the same time looks really neat and classy with the gold and black braiding.

I haven’t tested the speeds that’s it boasts but I can tell its fast as it hasn’t missed a beat and has worked flawlessly, so happy and no complaints on that score.

So now I don’t have to see that old grey ugly twisted thing hanging down the wall. It doesn’t bug me anymore.

It is a CAT8 cable, and it gives really excellent internet speed, especially while I am working from home and at the same time my flatmates are using the internet for their games and movie streaming.

I got this to test as part of Vine Voice and its great, I’m getting 1Gb speeds on my xbox and PS5 with this plugged directly from my router into the back of either device. Its extremely well packaged and the cable braiding is of a very high quality.

The end clips are reinforced and should mean an end to the plastic parts snapping, if you’re a gamer and are looking to upgrade your network this is a solid investment (actual speeds will depend on your network and the capability of the end to end devices being used).

This is superbly constructed, the cable itself and the connectors. I can’t test its Cat 8 credentials but it’s certainly fast and trouble-free. But why the plastic window in the box?! Removing it, so that the box itself can be recycled, is a pain, and the plastic itself finishes up in landfill.

    What a shame — a five-star cable in four-star packaging.
