Bought for my grandsons Nintendo , as we couldn’t get his own one to charge . Got this delivered next day delivery and works perfectly so saved having to get his system checked
Some of these plugs don’t work to power the switch to use it via its docking station but this one works perfectly would very much recommend buying one if its needed well done guys thanks

Charger works perfectly for the original switch in dock mode. It’s great being able to use my switch on my TV again. Would definitely recommend buying this item, even if it’s to have as a back up
I lost the original charger so I was looking for a cheap replace so I ordered from eBay for around 6 pounds. That charges the Switch with no problem but the voltage was not big enough to work on the dock. So I came back to Amazon and bought this, a bit more expensive but it’s more ‘ genuine’ than the cheaper eBay one, it’s heavier, more voltage and working in every way. Very happ with the charger.

I’ve done a bit of a googling as I have heard some of the 3rd party made power adapters can brink your Switch. This adapter is very good quality. Not much difference compared to the original. I have been using it for a few weeks now for direct charging switch without any issues. I have also used it connected to Nintendo dock and it works as intended Considering what Nintendo charges for their AC adapter this is excellent value for money.
It works as a charger and with docking station which a previous product from another supplier did not.

i know there is mixed reviews on power adaptors for bricking switches but bought as it specifically says for nintendo switch.

I needed to replace my switch charger and the first brand I tried was a no-go. I was afraid of damaging the console so I read a good number of brand recommendations and went with this one. I’ve been using it for a few weeks with no problems. I have not tried it with the dock yet.
It’s a plug. It powers my switch. It hasn’t exploded or become very warm. It’s affordable.
Fantastic charger that works exactly as described, allowing you to charge your Nintendo Switch, even when in TV mode, it also seems to charge the switch relatively fast

Great wee charger for the price alot less that an actual switch charger and it does exactly the same thing. Brilliant for anyone who has kids who seem to go through alot of chargers for some reason.

Important only use these as a alternative to the genuine one ….other can brick your switch(wrong voltage)..Nintendo has its own power rating for chargers , and installed a chip and this third party one has it….

This supply (like the Nintendo one) has TV output power so it can be used with the Switch dock to output display to TV (some other cheaper ones do NOT work with TV out put!).
