Does what it says on the tin at a reasonable price point. Only problem with the design is that the contollers do not clip in and although they both go on easily, a slightly knock will send them toppling. Has happened me a few times.

cannot give more positive recommendation for this charger, it is small and minimalistic in design and suits the desing of the ps5 and blends in pretty nicely. cahrging function works well and easy to slot in and out. Small enough to store anywhere and looks great next to the playstatio

If you are looking for an affordable PS5 controller charger as a replacement or spare, you might want to give this one from ifollower a try.

This PS5 controller charging station is designed with RGB lighting that has 7 optional colours and 8 charging modes. Just push the light effect switch button once to change the colour of light, and long press for 2 seconds to turn off the light. Furthermore, the design of this charger is click-in so you just have to dock your PS5 wireless controllers with the charging station and leave them to charge.

Just so you know, the ports of the cradle are made with copper connectors for a quick and safe charging experience. It also has a built-in IC that protects the charger from over-current, over-voltage, over-heat and short-circuit.

With regards to its appearance and build, it is very good quality and is simple but looks good. I got the black one since I have black PS5 controllers. I like the RGB light effects on its bottom part as it looks really good at night while the controllers are charging. Performance-wise, it does work just like the original ones and I am glad that I got the chance to try this as it is much more affordable.

All in all, this is definitely a great value for money as it is much more affordable than the standard PS5 charger and works just as well.

This is the second PS5 DualSense charging dock that I’ve had. Since I received my PS5 on release day I’ve been using a dock that required a dongle to be inserted into the DualSense to wirelessly charge my controller, which worked okay but not flawlessly.

This iFollower charging dock takes the more traditional route that the official PS5 DualSense controller uses, in that you drop the controller over a contact point that docks into the base of the controller, directly beneath the PS logo button. It’s works very well, although it sometimes takes you a few attempts to correctly dock until you’ve got the knack of coming at it from the right angle.

When docked, the charger has worked very well. There’s space for two controllers, which I’ve not been able to test as I only have one controller so I don’t know how it performs when two controllers are docked at the same time. On its own my DualSense has charged correctly every time.

There’s an RGB light around the entire base of the unit, which as RGB goes is quite inoffensive. I’ve never been a big fan of the need to RGB everything associate with your computer, but if you do like it it works well, if not then it’s not going to offend you too much. There’s a button at the rear to cycle through the colours, breathing, changing or off completely. Next to the button is the charging port which is for the supplied USB-C.

All in all it’s a pretty decent docking station. My only gripe would be that it’s only 5 less than the official Sony PS5 dock at RRP, which is a nicer looking unit in my opinion. However, if you like the RGB then at a fiver less (more on regular offers) it’s a solid buy.

This is a charger station for dual controllers. It has an adjustable RGB light and the charging is fast too. I have been using it for my controllers and its working perfectly for me. it does a pretty good job and the sleek design takes less space too.

Usually I charge both DualSense controllers using USB C – C cable. This item helped me to do it without them. Connecting it to the charger by USB C is great, especially when everything has USB C now.

Two “rings” on it inform about charging one or two controllers which can be handy from time to time and it gives contrast to all black casing.

I’m amazed because controllers connect magnetically and majority of 3rd party chargers use USB C ports on the controller(s) to do it. Every controller is charged after over an hour.

It would be great if lightning on the base could be turned off but it’s impossible. I don’t mind it at night but it can be annoying in the morning.

Thanks to this product, I’m going to charge my controllers without plugging them into USB C port on PS5 or charger.

    Great alternative to wired charging

This charging dock is decent quality and does the job of charging 2 ps5 controllers.
The rgb feature along the bottom of the dock is a nice feature and adds a little something to our gaming desk to match our other rgb items. You can choose a specific colour or opt to have it cycle through all colours.
It is of solid construction with a nice weight with a rubber base to prevent slipping on the desk surface.
The only things I didn’t like were that it can be a bit too fiddly to put the controllers on the dock correctly as it takes a bit more concentration to ensure the charging pins line up. I also don’t know what the red circle lights in the pictures are because they have never shown up on this item.
A decent docking station for the price, especially given the solid build and the rgb feature.

    Decent charging dock

This dual PS5 controller charging station by iFollower if pretty good, with a couple of things holding it back from being a must-have PS5 accessory.

The charging station does come with some pretty good features – like over-heat, short-circuit, over-current and over-voltage protection within it’s IC, as well as offering upto 7 RGB lights (not too sure why gamer = RGB disco when it comes to gaming accessories nowadays!) with various modes and some pretty neat quality of life features to boot like anti slip pads and spring thimbles on the charging pots and two front facing status lights.

It works well, with the dock charging upto 2 controllers in 3 hours or less. Build quality isn’t astonishing but is reasonable for the price – especially considering the feature set on offer. It’s unfortunate that it doesn’t come with an AC adapter (only a USB-c to USB-c cable), so you’ll need to provide your own which could result in the mistake of not providing enough power etc which could drastically limit it’s use effectiveness.

That said, overall it’s a very neat little charging station which as long as you’re able to provide the correct power to, should be pretty happy with!

    Neat dual charging station!

This is a simple and tidy way to charge PS5 controllers. It comes supplied with a USB-C cable for connecting to the main PS5 unit.

Setup is simple, just plug-and-play. I plugged the charge cable into the back of the PS5 so it was hidden away. A rubber base ensures it doesn’t slip off the cabinet. The unit has coloured LEDs around the base of the, which as standard are on the multi-coloured setting. This is one thing that lets it down in that it doesn’t remember the setting. I prefer the white colour, so have no option but to press the button 7 times each time I use it. This doesn’t make it unusable, but it’s certainly a negative point that I’m sure could easily be addressed to improve the customer’s experience.

Two red charging lights are supposed to display on the front of the unit when the controller is connected. I’m not sure these were working on the unit I had as the indicator lights would often stay on when the controller was full, or the controller would be charging but the indicator light would not display. Again, this did not stop the unit from being used, but it was mildly annoying to have a good feature not backed up with working lights.

The most important part is making sure the controller is properly docked. The central nub slides into the headphone jack, and this aligns the metal contacts to allow it to charge. Compared to some other models, the fact that the controller balances on the central part does mean it’s prone to wobble from side to side and the contact is broken, but after a couple of attempts and a steady hand it remains in place. Charging speeds are good, with a 20% charged controller taking around 2 hours to charge to full when left on the PS5 rest mode.

Overall, the stand is cheaper than some of the alternatives, which probably have more robust electronics and nicer design features, but if you want something cheap and cheerful that does the job, this is definitely for you.

I got this for use with my PS5

It arrives in the branded box shown, on removing your meet with the charger and a usb c cable and the instruction manual

First off the thing i notices was how lightweight the main unit is i was surprised in a good way, the charging cable is a nice length. Set up was easy plug in and away you go, it really is that simple, the RGB lights on the charger are awesome the small button the rear of the charger just push to change or if you want to turn off.
There are two led circles on the front that light up up which looks really nice.

The charger is well designed and made the charging points slot neatly into the underside of the controllers without issue or having to push down to hard. The base has a none slip cover so it will not slip around the desk which i love.

Over all im going to say this is a nice neat compact design that’s a great addition to your gaming set up. Highly recommended

    Does the job

My main interest in an accessory is whether it does a good job. I’m happy to say this does, not that that’s a major design coup. Plenty do. This tries not to disappear amongst the competition with flashing lights, which is great if you’re impressed by such things. There are some, they have a number of the same LED effects that all coloured led items have, which are nice enough for even gnarled old me to sometimes enjoy. What’s good is the smallish footprint it has in terms of space used, which is about as efficient as it can be. It’s also very easy to use, even if it wasn’t that intuitive to me, as I was expecting something a bit more definite, like the official PS4 chargers were, although I think this is a better design as there’s less to break. I note at time of writing, it was 50% off and that makes it a very good price, although the normal pricing is entirely fair for the piece. Overall I would recommend.

This is an easy to use PS5 controller charging dock. The controller’s simply sit on the top the right way up, so it couldn’t be easier to use. There’s no need to keep plugging and unplugging cables to charge them. This is the best way to charge them as there’s less chance of damaging them compared to ones that sit upside down.

This plugs in via a normal usb port, so can be charged via the console or a stand-alone wall charger.

The design is fairly simplistic, with colourful lights on the dock which add a special touch to its otherwise simple features.

Overall, this is really good for the price and is definitely recommended. You can always ensure that you have at least one controller on charge or 2 ready to play when friends visit.

Theres no weight to it so not as sturdy as I would like it to be.

Does the job and price is good so 8 out of 10 for me.

Amazing product! Plugs directly into the back of the PS5 console, can charge 2 controllers by placing them into the groves of the docking Station.

Its a fast charging Dock which charges the controllers fully within 30/40 minutes for hours of game play.

There is an LED indicator which shows when the controllers are charged. The lead is included within the box.

The docking station is fairly small so doesn’t take up too much space on the desk where we have placed it and it matches the colour scheme of the PS5 so looks great placed next to the console

    Definitely recommend this

This PS5 controller charging dock comes in a printed cardboard box and inside you’ll find the charging dock, USB-C cable, and a user manual.

The charging dock itself comes in white which always contrasts nice with RGB lighting. The bottom of the dock is all rubber so stops it from sliding on smooth surfaces. The base has a transparent plastic ring all the way around and this is where the RGB lights shine through. There is a button on the rear which cycles through the different modes of lights from breathing lights that go dim and brighten up with the next colour while cycling through, to the simply selecting the colour you want it to stay on and stay illuminated. These RGB lights work completely independently from the charging circuit so you can have them illuminated even when you’re not charging a controller.

Charging a controller is really simple with this design of charging dock. You just place the controller onto the charging area and the raised plastic nub slides into the hole on the controller which then guides the charging contacts into the right place. Once you get used to the angle needed to place the controller on, it’ll just go straight into place and start charging. No need to mess about trying to plug the USB-C cable in like the old way, just place it on the dock and it’ll start charging.

These type of chargers make charging your controller really convenient and easy to do and I couldn’t go back to using a cable to charge agai

The best, and easiest way, to charge your PS5 controllers...

If you like your gaming sessions longer than a few hours or if you have a friend come over for a gaming session from time to time then you will know that the PS5 controllers run down their battery pretty quickly, and the PS5 itself has a limited number of available USB plugs available for recharging them. For this reason 3rd party products have flourished to enable you to fast charge more than one controller at.a time. This charging station is one such model. It is a simple but effective design, with a white plastic base, with a rubber non slip pad on the Botton. Two notched are cut out with charging points that slot neatly into the underside of the controllers. The connections are not solid, and can be easily dislodged even if the desk it sits on is nudged a bit too vigorously. The base has a thin LED light that can have a cycling colour, or via a little button on the back of the base, the light can be switched to a specific colour or turned off completely. The front screen is supposed to have an LED indicator light that shows you the charge stays of the attached controllers, but my sample did not work! This is an effective neat dual charger, of decent quality, and good value.

Effective value dual charger for PS5 controllers.

This is a perfect addition to your PS5, get this positioned next to your PS5 or like me put it on a table next to the chair you use to play so you don’t have to get up

It charges controllers fast and also a good place just to store your controller neatly while charging or not.

Works perfect, has optional led colours and i would recommend it.

Charger is nice and compact and can hold two controllers to charge at same time. We used it to charge PS5 controllers. There is a light around base that when on rotates around different colours as seen in the photos. Easy to set up with a phone adapter. The product does the job it is intended for and looks really nice. I would recommend.

I received this charger station as part of the Amazon Vine programme. In return for an honest review.

This costs a lot less than an official version, but works out much better value as this can do do what that does and works just as well. We already own an official one, and I can’t see or feel a difference in performance between the two.

The charge time is really good and both chargers can charge at the same time.

They are held securely in place and it’s a great place to leave the controllers when the console is turned off, so this can double up as a stand as well as charging unit.

The coloured lights look great, especially in dimmed light.

Overall, it’s a great product at a very good price compared to similar items on the market.

Bought for my son for use with his PS5, especially when playing multiplayer with his brother or has friends over. The usb-c plug and play straight into the PS5 rather than having a charging dock plugged into the mains is a really good feature, can have it set up and running each time the console gets switched on meaning spare controllers are always nice and fully charged for when he needs them. The unit itself is very smart, feels a bit lighter than I expected but it is sturdy enough and it looks really smart with the different colour LED light rims when in use. Rubber base means it sits nicely on the side and doesn’t slide about. Space to charge 2 controllers at once and charges quickly with a full charge lasting a good amount of time. He’s very happy with it so would definitely recommend!

Great, convenient charging directly from the PS5 not from the mains!

This charging dock for 2 DualSense/PS5 controllers is great if you want a charger which roughly matches the aesthetics of the PS5 and the DualSense, but also has some RGB light for extra gaming performance (like how racing stripes add 10BHP to your car…)

The dock holds your controllers upright rather than upside-down like a lot of charging docks, and requires a USB C input which is great, as vaginally everything probably uses USB C amongst your gadgets/setup.

A good looking charging dock that also performs perfectly!
