Snap-on keyboard is not very good, hence one star lost but I expected this from reading the reviews; I use a fold up Bluetooth one instead.
Tablet absolutely fine and have checked to see if it will accept Windows 11 when it comes out, probably in November this year… and it will. Yeah!

Ok let’s review this vs a old surface pro 3 highish end.
    Surface pro 3 i5 4300U 1.9gh boost 2.5gh 2c4t 8gb
    Ubook X Celeron N4100 1.1gh boost 2.6gh 4c4t 8gb
Firstly proformance the ubook is pretty good as a tablet and proforms well in muti tasking and drawing doesn’t lag too much. It’s alittle slower then the surface most seen on boot up but still works fully in about 20 seconds which isn’t too bad. It better at controling heat then the pro it’s about 50c average to the pros 70c which over heats if u use it hard.
The screen is pretty much the same as the pro grate if u are used to using one similar good picture. The pens work on both models and I have three different ones, the one it comes with is good. The keyboard it comes with is where I give it a win over the pro it feels much nicer too use.
Memory and storage have scored lower then the pro but the scores of the pro are high for a tablet.
Cameras are not grate on either so don’t buy for this reason but there about the same, just fine for video calls.
Battery life ok seams to be similar to the pro both lose power at a similar rate when drawing didn’t test video power usage.
Design there so similar really they are but it grips better in your hand than the pro so that got to be the win.
Overall the pros abit better in proformance but some of the weak version may not be like the 4gb M3 versions, these will be more the same level or slightly worse than the ubook X. Is it worth getting yes if you want too get into drawing or like browsing YouTube Facebook or collage work, abit of light gaming even. I use it as a backup or second screen to copy things and yeah it’s good recommend one. Oh update it straight away the windows installed on it is really out of date then free up space with windows settings, then go to storage get rid of the older install rubbish.

Ubook X vs Surface pro 3

Good little bargain of a computer, easy to make notes with and nice and portable. I use it to make notes at university and it comes in handy, the performance is fantastic and I comes with a nice little pen. Microsoft tablet UI isn’t that great but everything else is really good.

I was after a 12″ tablet but without breaking the bank. Always feels a bit of a risk buying direct from China (unsure about after-sales etc) but no issues so far and happy to recommend. All works fine. Form factor is important to me so the stand (thus dispensing with need for folding case etc) is big plus point. Stand looks bit flimsy but is actually fine, tho could be a tad easier to move from closer position (is a small notch to get fingernail into which sometimes I need to look for rather than being intuitively sized). Keyboard is better than expected given reviews elsewhere. Not really a full substitute for a work laptop but rather tablet with added bonus. Webcam not great and sound from speakers likewise – not great for music (use earphones) but fine otherwise. Initially unclear if it can be charged from USB C port but yes it does, using PD charger at sufficiently high wattage (48w works, 18w does not) meaning don’t have to rely on the pin type laptop charger is comes with. Bought direct from Chuwi website and arrived pretty quickly, I paid 300 which is way cheaper than a Surface. Was initially looking for an android tablet but think this is a more flexible option, as can be more readily used for work (MS/Windows 10 etc) and has selection of ports that others don’t have, although switching from long term android tablet user to windows tablet is an adjustment. Much of it comes down to which OS you want – although I could not find an comparable android tablet around this price point.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersIt takws the Chinese to show us all the way forward. Easily matches the ipad Pro 12.9 inch as a tablet plus it works as W10 so you have infinite possibilities unlike the ipad and of course the price is a fraction of the cost. I use this mainly for my sheet music and it is big enought ot read, so a very useful and portable device as well as being a portable laptop. The aspect ratio 3:2 screen is ideal for reading anything – A4 paper size. I’m sure many more will go this way but Chuwi is the first to do so and deserves your business

Excellent value for money and easy to use. Only technical issue I had was with the keyboard settings for the UK, the # hashtag key was showing ? question mark. Contacted the CHUWI forum and managed to fix issue. Well recommended.

Good light laptop/2 in 1. It has an excellent 1440p touchscreen, especially for its price.

It is heavier and thicker than conventional tablets but still very usable in tablet mode. I have read some complaints about the keyboard and trackpad, but I didn’t face any problems so far, it was perfectly usable.

Batter lasts for 4 to 5 hours on light loads.

Very good fit for light work. But don’t expect to game or do video/photo editing work on this.

I have had for a couple of weeks now and I wanted it as a light mobile companion to my powerful desktop. So it was perfect for me.

Long term reliability is still unknown though.

Excellent 2 in 1 for its price and good functionality.
