We got one for our holiday cottage where things just need to be easy to use, and another for my elderly uncle who once built torpedoes but now struggles with the tv remote.
It’s simple to use – just turn the timer knob to the desired cooking time and off it goes. You can also set the power level if you don’t want it on full. This makes it a perfect choice for both our requirements – no instruction book required.
It’s fairly small but big enough for a normal dinner plate. The door release button is quite stiff – my uncle manages it ok but we had to teach him to press the left hand end of the button furthest from its hinge point to reduce the amount of force required.
If you just need a basic microwave that’s simple to use – this is the one.

Lovely looking in cream. . Easy to clean. Fairly easy to use after really studying the pamphlet instructions for a while. Handy bleeps when cooking or reheating complete.
It’s more ‘tinny’ than some of my previous, expensive microwaves, but it’s lovely. The colour is an added bonus.

This microwave is great. Looks good and works well. Better heat than my previous one. The door usually bangs into the wall when I press the ‘open’ button, so may need to be wary. It’s a bit loose!

Compact so ideal for my kitchen and looks good with its retro styling. It did take me a little while to get my head around how to work it as it replaced a didgital one that I could almost operate in my sleep. However I read through the instructions several times and played around with it and now use it with ease
Very basic if you want a small microwave that fits out of the way then this is the one , would probably have preferred a digital timer where you set the time , but it does the job fine for the price paid without any frills.

This small microwave is still large enough inside to take a dinner plate, which my old one wasn’t. It looks attractive and now that I use the correct microwave cooking containers won’t go rusty from the condensation caused during heating. It isn’t ‘all singing, all dancing’ but my requirement is simply that it defrosts meat, cooks vegetables and boiled eggs and heats up left overs. It achieves these things 100% and quickly!
Not bad for 55 and cooks everything just fine, I would recommend using a timer on your smart phone, As this does not have a digital clock just 2 physical dials.

It does seem to hold a lot of steam which is a little odd but just means leave the door open for a minute after using. Only used for ready meals, pre cooking jacket potatoes, porridge, reheating cold tea and warming plates before serving so can’t really comment on its “cooking” ability but for our needs it is the perfect little microwave.
There is nothing that i don’t like about this microwave. It’s absolutely wonderful. It has probably saved me since i don’t need to spend so much time in the rest of the covid infected house. I love everything about it. It’s easy to use, it looks beautiful, it works perfectly well. I am enjoying it every single day. And i can cook anything i like! Except for spaghetti .
For a simple straight forward microwave that’s mainly used for reheating is great, I couldn’t comment on it more as that’s all I use it for.

A really neat looking quality microwave that works very very well. Nice retro design and the red colour is lovely. Will fit a round standard dinner plate in but not the square ones. Simple to use, easy to clean. I’m very happy with it and can’t fault it.
I’ve only been using it for four days and compared with my previous all singing and dancing microwave, this one is really value for money. All I want to do with a microwave is heat up and occasionally defrost. If that’s what you want it for then go for it.
The only Con and this might well be me is that the heating process is somewhat complicated initially. My food came out piping hot even in the centre and it did a good job defrosting meat.
So far this oven has worked well.. Vents are at the side so you can put loads of stuff on top without worrying about explosions etc. It zaps my food and drinks quickly and softens my butter for spreading in 5 seconds. There is a deep buzzing sound when first starting to cook but only for a second and then not at all. It alarmed me slightly at first but I’m now fairly sure it’s no big deal at all. It is a sexy little number to go with our red toaster.. Looks retro but all digital and easy to operate..can set cooking in 5 second increments.. Useful for that butter…
So I saved over 20 euro for a brand new item, basically.
Had my eye in a similar one from more known brand but was going to be weeks before available, so the universe sent me this one
The only slightly noticeable thing is the metal casing is a different shade of red to the door, which is a hard plastic, but that’s normal with 2 different materials. Only in certain light and if looking really closely, it’s noticeable.
Works great and the digital display still gives it a contemporary look too.

I only want to reheat stuff, cook scrambled eggs and make popcorn. I don’t want to do any of the fancy stuff some microwaves offer, so this basic model is fine for just that, good value for money and thus far works very well . It was a good price so no complaints there . a bit lighter than my previous microwave so tends to wander/move about in use but otherwise brilliant for what I need it for!
Very simple controls – but does everything I need. Very even cooking of things like scrambled egg and porridge. A real bargain at the prime day price!
Not worked out the details and performance of it yet as only arrived yesterday and not had time,, but was well packaged, looked as described in photo description and colour as desired,, bought on offer for a decent price, so fingers crossed for a good quality model that woks as you expect it to do,,, happy at this time…
This microwave is just right it is basic, no extra functions just a microwave which is exactly what I wanted. It is compact yet allows for all available space inside for items. The controls are really easy to understand and it has a weight to time ratio which is very handy. Suits me just fine.
his microwave just replaced my 25 year old ! Really worried that I’d have problems . Nothing to worry about at all , it really easy to use though I still have to keep the instruction nearby. Different power levels are great as I don’t hear peas + beans exploding anymore . Ok , I have to say that it’s a lovely soft cream colour ,its retro style would look good anywhere. Very happy that it works as good as it looks !
I picked this as I was looking for a small, cream microwave for a relative but it had to be 800w or over. This is perfect as it takes up much less space on the worktop, it takes a 27cm diameter plate quite comfortably and it is simple to use. Plus it looks great too.
I totally love my new red microwave.. looks sleek and chic and fits perfectly into a corner space…so easy to use.. and I like that it has a handle instead of a push button… it’s spacious inside and easy to clean with a damp cloth..800w is plenty powerful and haven’t noticed any condensation build up……
This good looking microwave does all the basics with great ease, its capacity is surprisingly roomy and it’s very easy to operate. I chose the green option although it’s really duck egg blue but still very attractive, looks good, is easy to clean,I’d happily recommend it to anybody looking for a basic microwave oven.
Not too noisy and very good value. We like the look.
Doesn’t sing and dance but suits our needs very well.
However it is not consistent with it’s heating.
A cup of coffee can be very hot on 2 mins or sometimes just very warm which I find irritating.
Also it does not like a top up in seconds which is difficult to set and not precise.
So one mark less.
It’s working really well so far, and looks lovely in the kitchen.
I will look at their other products in the future as well. Bargain!
This one is perfect.
Much bigger inside than I expected for such a compact outside shape. It will take a large dinner plate without tipping.
Easy to use controls. Simple and clear display.

Beautiful colour… marketed as “mint green” but really very much more blue than green, I’d call it a duck egg blue.
Traditional imitation chrome handle finishes it beautifully.
A great price for a good microwave that looks smart and works well.
The controls are simple, 5 power levels adjusted buy means of the upper dial and timer on the lower one. The timer ,being the turn to use type , is not quite exact but it errs on the side of caution by a few seconds. You can always add a few seconds more if it’s not enough , but you can’t unburn your food if it cooks for too long ! Which? said its one of the best microwaves they’ve ever tested – at any price. I totally agree, its the best basic microwave I’ve ever used in over 60 years of cooking.
The microwave is smaller than my old one, but the inside is big like my old one.

I’m not giving it 5 stars as sometimes is tricky to set up the time with precision. The analog control is tricky to use. Is this “3:30 or 3:45?”. Maybe I’m just used to digital ones.
The best feature is the light. It’s the first microwave we’ve had in the last 30-40 years where you can see clearly what’s occurring inside. Very pleased.
Update 3 days later: Still very pleased, but because it’s not heavy and the door quite stiff, it tends to slide forward when you open the door. Looked underneath, two very hard pads and two metal feet, neither able to grip the work surface. Might have to use gaffer tape!
I realised I just use it to heat up food quickly.
So this was well priced, it looks surprising good, it is a little tinny sounding when you open and close the door but I can live with that. And it heats up food fine.
