This oil filled radiator is a quick and easy solution to those sudden cold snaps when you don’t want to put the heating back on.

It has seven fins and gives a good radience out Although it won’t heat a very large room But placed near to where you are sitting or in a bedroom it heats the air nicely.

It comes well packaged and is easy to use, just ensure as it is oil filled that you allow it to settle down after travel to let the oil levels even out.

The controls on the end are simple you have low medium and high and you turn to which you want.

I find a quick blast on high to get it warmed up and then medium for longer use is fine.

It is on casters for manoverability which is fine if you have openplan floors but you will need to lift slightly over door runners if carpets.

The lead is just under two metres so should reach most places with a plug point and it comes with built in safety features for overheating and accidential tip over which cuts the power off.

This is a very reasonable price I thought for the size and wattage.

This is a good looking and well made heather that works quickly to heat a small room and stays warm for ages once hot. The controls are simple and it feels a lot safer than using a convection heater especially at night time. Mine is in the bedroom and has done an admirable job during the recent cold snap in keeping temps pleasant.

For the money, this seems like a really good deal and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a small, easy to store heater.

I’ve been a user of these radiators for a while, and I can confidently say this is everything you expect it to be.
I live alone and mainly stay in one small room in my house where I use a computer, so it’s very inefficient for me to have the central heating on to maintain the house at a particular temperature to keep me warm, considering I only need it for one room. These radiators solve the problem. My gas bill went down as I used these and this one does the job just as expected.
If you’re in a small room like myself, depending on how high you have the settings on this, something like half an hour to an hour and your room will be warm. After that, if you have the door closed like I do, you can turn it off and it’ll be warm for a few hours, which is just great for me. I haven’t measured the actual power usage of this, but imagine only using 1.5 kWh to keep you warm for a few hours as opposed to the central heating every single day, you’ll save quite a bit in a year.
Simple and easy to use with only two knobs to operate the unit like many out there, although I never understood why, because it would seem like one knob would be enough. There’s a power and a temperature. Not really sure what the difference is.
Automatically cuts off after reaching the set temperature determined by the knob, and automatically comes back on when the temperature drops below, again, very standard, but important to have.
One of the good features is the anti-tip feature to prevent the unit from staying on if it tips over, which is great for safety measures.
Quite easy to assemble, as only the wheels need to be mounted on. Partnered with being small and compact, this is easily moveable to keep it out the way in a desired location.
39.99 isn’t the cheapest, but it’s close enough and this is a good radiator, so it’s definitely worth getting. Very good and I can say this with confidence after using a few of these radiators.

On first impression I am impressed, heats up quickly and is hot to touch, even on its lowest setting (I blueght the 2kw, so it’s 600 watt on setting 1).

My only gripe is it is described as “white” but they delivered grey

This came a little smaller than I thought it would be however it is a very handy unit for heating a smaller room when you don’t want to have the whole heating system running.
The radiator came well protected and required just a small amount of assembly by screwing on the castor brackets, this was easy to do and took very little time.
The unit is very tidy looking and is finished in a greyish white which looks quite modern and fits with any decor.
Once plugged in the red LED lights up to show that it’s on. There are two controls, one is a thermostat and the other a power control that allows you to choose between one and three as a power level, with the small size of the unit I’m not sure why you need a power selector and a thermostat but I guess it’s nice to have the choice.
When running this unit makes no noise at all and heated up in about 10 to 15 minutes, at full power the surface is quite hot so maybe thats a good reason to have the power switch, if you have small children you can keep it a little cooler to touch.
I am disabled but I had no problems wheeling the radiator around to where it was most needed as the unit is so compact and lightweight.
When the unit is switched off it cools down very quickly, so the heat radiation obviously works very well but the drawback would be that this would not be economical to keep switching on and off manually as it takes longer to heat up than to cool down.
All in all this is a nice looking radiator and for it’s size it works very well.

his is a 7 fins oil filled radiator, it has max 1500w power output, and the other 2 power settings are 900w and 600w

the radiator itself look nice, traditional radiator design, with 2 knobs in front panel for the power output and temperature, very easy to use, anyway, i used to keep them run in full power

i used the radiator in a loft room, about 15 square meter, outside temperature was 2 degree and room temperature was 8.9 degree, i turned on the radiator for 1 hour, the room temperature increased to 12.7 degree, that’s 3.8 degree in one hour, and the temperature was quite constant around that temperature in following few hours, i couldn’t say it’s very powerful, the room was not warm enough, i wished it could have 18 degree

eventually i found the reason why the temperature stayed there, i used a power consumption meter to measure the radiator power input, i found the radiator would lowered its power from 1500w to 600w when it felt warm enough, it completely bypassed my setting (both temperature and power to the max), i wonder if it’s only my unit got this issue?

that’s the reason why the temperature kept at around 12.7 degree quite constantly, i think it should keep the power output and raise the temperature until i stop it

other than that, this radiator is very good, power cable is long enough, almost silent when running, sometimes a little popping sound, it’s normal for oil filled radiator i understand

energy saving mode when it felt warm enough

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersI have to say I’ve not seen or used an oil filled radiator in about 25 years when I was a kid. We had those in our house and they always smelled of oil and we eventually changed them to other means of heating. I never concidered to purchase an oil filled radiator as a secondary option in my adult life and always went with the electric, ceramic fan and similar options. Those however are really not powerful and really only useful for very small rooms and in emergency like when your boiler is broken and you’re waiting for the repair man. This radiator on the other hand is really quite good in terms of heating power. It doesn’t heat up as quickly as other heaters it needs at least a good 10 minutes to reach its maximum but after that it emits constant heat and warms up the room quickly. Being filled with oil means once the oil is hot inside it will radiate heat through the fins meaning the electric part can switch off and save power. Once the oil starts to cool down electricity is drawn again to heat it back up. It also means that you can enjoy a warm room for a lot longer after it’s been off as opposed to electric fan heaters where the effect almost immediately wears off and you have to turn it back on. The radiator is almost completely silent it won’t bother you at all. I also really liked the fact that assembly doesn’t require any tools. Only 4 castor wheels that are fixed with nuts that can be tightened by hand.

There is one caveat however. The smell. It does smell of oil exactly the same way as our old ones 25 years ago. For this reason I can’t recommend using them in your home unless you want to experience the 80’s home dcor era of the Eastern bloc. 🙂 I can imagine this being used in a shed or garage maybe in a laundry room or in store room or workplace where smell isn’t an issue.

I still rate it for 4 stars as it delivers on the promises and it’s in the same price range as many ceramic heaters only this one is quiet and keeps the room warmer. Recommended.

This has lots of good features and works best in smaller spaces. It has castor wheels so is easy to move about; an overheat protection cut off, automatic switch cut off if it accidently knocked over, adjustable thermostat and a good feature on the side to allow you to neatly and safely store the power cord.
It is lightweight but once in place is stable. It is also very quiet. One downside for me is that power cord is slightly short.

We have varying sized rooms in our house and because they aren’t particularly uniform, heating them isn’t always easy. The central heating system is decent but we do need to augment that in colder weather. This oil filled radiator is powered by electricity. Simply plug in and set at one of the 3 heat settings and adjust the output dial to your wishes. I have tested it on all settings and the highest, ‘3’ output is very good, heating one of our medium sized bedrooms really well. It maintains heat in the room nicely and as its quite slim it doesn’t take a great deal of room up. It has wheels so it can be pushed around but even if you did need to pick it up, it isn’t that heavy. Very very good.

We thought this was ideal for our garden room as normal air convector style heaters can leave the room feeling uncomfortable and claustrophobic, with this, we pop it on full for half an hour to get the garden room to temperature and then turn it down whilst we are in there. Even on full power, 1500w is pretty economical and it does a great job at giving central heating style heat on demand without too much messing. Its nice to know it has ant tip protection that shuts it down if its knocked over and also it has a safety thermostat if it overheats. Its worth pointing out, like any radiator, if you have kids or pets, this is really hot to touch, but can be near furniture etc as it radiates heat so is safe by couches etc.

Easy to move around very portable with the wheels and lightweight of this heater warms up within 15/20 mins and keeps a medium-sized room at a constant temperature with ease even once it has turned off it stays warm for at least an hour looks better than the normal old style designs too this is a lot sleeker and modern also great that it has a trip function built in for extra peace of mind this heater is also silent which is big plus if you are used to electric fan heaters.

Living in a house that doesn’t have any heating source in the kitchen, I’ve had many electric heaters over the years. This is probably one of the cheapest I’ve had but it performs very well in terms of being able to heat a mid sized kitchen in no time at all. As with all electric heaters I do think they eat electric faster so I only use it a few hours during the afternoon/evening and it isn’t so bad. It’s better than freezing anyway!

The design is fairly typical but the casters do come in handy especially as someone with mobility issues, it means I can roll it where needed without heavy lifting. I’ve also paired it with a smart plug so that I can tell Alexa when to turn it off which is great. I’d definitely recommend it if looking for something more budget friendly.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersVery happy with this radiator. The heating in the house is solid fuel, great during the day once it’s lit and up and running but at night the bedroom is freezing. The radiator is perfect for the bedroom, it gives a good clean heat, it is easy to set the temperature and the middle setting is perfect and not too expensive to run. There is no horrible high-pitched noise like you get with some, I tried another brand last year and couldn’t bare the noise. The radiator is easy to move due to the wheels and the cord is a good length. There is a cut off if the radiator was to be knocked over, but it is extremely stable so not much chance of toppling. The controls are easy to use. The design of the radiator makes it easy to clean and it looks modern. I’m very happy to be able to read at night again without my hands freezing.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersI’m very pleased with this heater and it’s come at a perfect time as with this colder weather, just the central heating isn’t enough in my house due to badly positioned radiators on the walls, we have some very long rooms with no heat in the middle of them so this is where this radiator comes in handy.

The radiator comes with casters which you affix and it’s easy to do so. The radiator is a decent size and has three heat settings. I’m surprised at the heat output for a portable radiator and I have this alongside my chair in the living room which is halfway between the radiators we have on the wall and fills the cold spot perfectly.

The cable isn’t overly long but we have a socket exactly where we need it so this isn’t a problem. It’s easy to position this with the casters which roll easily on my carpet.

This is a great solution to the cold without having to crank the heating up in every room which would cost more than running this cost effective heater when needed.

Recommended, I’ve had other products by COMFEE and they’ve been consistently good quality and i’m very impressed. Very useful heater and a good amount of heat for a portable.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis 7 fin oil filled radiator is great for taking the chill off a cold room with its three temperature settings. The middle setting is just about right for maintaining my living room warmth. You can feel the gentle heat from about 5m away. It’s a compact size 33cm wide x 63cm height x 13cm depth – short and narrow. The radiator is easily moved on 4 plastic wheels which were quick to put together with wing nuts. There is also an indented hand slot which helps you to move the unit. The temperature is simple to control with a twist dial next to the setting dial. I like the long 160cm/63in flex and the winder at the side of the radiator for keeping it tidy

  53. Anonymous says:

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersA very flexible and useful radiator. It heats up quickly and evenly. The power cable is about 6ft long, so you might want to consider a suitably fused* extension lead if you want to use it further from a power socket.

The castors work well, allowing the radiator to be rolled smoothly to its desired location, though the supplied wingnuts that secure the castors to the main body of the radiator are quite cheapo. There is a handgrip on the side of the radiator so you can move it even when it’s hot, without the risk of burning your hands.

The radiator itself is relatively lightweight, though feels robust enough to do the job. It feels stable, despite being small and light, but if you do knock it over, the radiator is fitted with a safety cut-out that turns it off unless it’s upright.

The on/off switch is a bit stiff on our model. I don’t know if this is intentional, but I would have preferred it to move more smoothly.

We’re using it as secondary heating (alongside a water radiator) in a 5.8 x 2.8m conservatory and it makes the space much more usable, even in very cold weather.

*The 1500W radiator draws about 6.25A of current, so a fuse of at least 10A is required in any extension cables that you connect it to. Bear in mind, though, that if you use an extension lead, that does significantly increase the risk of tripping over the cable.

Being someone who really feels the cold and also having a bedroom that is the coldest room in the house, I like to have a second heating source in there. Attaching the wheels was easy enough and I had no problems. The radiator is fine to roll across thinner and thicker carpets. I like the handy little storage area for wrapping the lead around which makes it easier to carry the radiator. Compared to my really old one, it’s the same width but a bit taller, although hopefully more energy efficient.

It took the radiator about 7 minutes to kick a good amount of heat out and I found it powerful enough that when I walked by, I would get pockets of hot air to go through. For my bedroom, which is a decent single/small double size and with the door closed, it works well for me. I also like that there’s a dial to operate it as I’m unlikely to accidently turn it on.
