The only downside is wipe it with a moist cloth and it starts beeping until dry

Upon installation of this, it was found to be totally smashed with no outer box damaged. Had no problem whatsoever in returning the item and received a full refund which was very efficiently dealt with.
Easy to fit, if you have the correct 32amp wiring, was fitted into a new worktop. Touch control was responsive, was surprised at how fast it heat up the saucepan, glass can easy be scratched, just make sure you pick up your pans, not slide it on/off. Well worth the 5 star give
I can’t believe how good this hob is for the price. The quick boil feature is incredible, quicker than the kettle. With 9 temperature settings and a locking feature, it’s so safe to use. I love how quickly you can change the temperature and when you get it where you want you can leave things like pasta to just cook without worrying that they’ll boil over. The timer feature is genius too.
It cleans beautifully and is pretty easy to use.
My only gripe, and it’s tiny, is with the controls. It’s difficult to find any of the even numbers on the temperature scale.

Ok product, good value, but I’m not keen on the slider control for the heat setting. It’s unnecessarily fiddly.
Excellent value for the price. Cleaning is just a wipe. Controls are simple enough. Does the job. It is a bit noisy but nothing too bad. Has to be understood that it is about half the price of Neff and the like. I recommend it.
I received the hob in the time specified and well packaged I found it easy to install ,it was replacing a old Halogen hob it is easy to use and does the job .I would recommend this hob and the seller.
I am very pleased with this hob I did not think it would be as good as it is for the money!
Works well, a little noisy when on and you can’t place anything hot on it like an oven tray otherwise it starts to make a loud noise. Other than that it heats up quickly and works well.

This is a beautiful looking hob that is so easy to clean. It is really responsive and heats up and cools down instantly. Even though it comes with a plug it can be hardwired if necessary. The controls are easy to use and only need a light touch to activate.

This hob has replaced our trusted 20 year old ceramic hob with knobs, so we are knew to induction technology. I had the hob shipped to me in Malta and it was delivered safely and very quickly. Installation by a qualified electrician was also easily carried out to our 3 phase home electrical system. (Would have liked the cable to be a bit longer, otherwise, no complaints). The hob is easy to use and I had no problem using our recently purchased induction friendly pots and pans. Its early days, but impressed with the functionality at this budget price.
Fantastic hob at a bargain price. Upgraded to this from a halogen hob and wish I’d done it years ago. Extremely fast and very high heat available, brilliant for stir fries and BIR cooking. Easy to clean and looks smart, only had it a month but hopefully it will be reliable as well.
Easy to install and wire up. Heats up quickly, a lot quicker than our ceramic hob.

For those who have not used induction hobs before: they are faster (power “boil” mode), safer (hob itself is nothing like as hot as ceramic hobs), and you have much much better control over the heating. You can cook something, then when it’s cooked set the temperature of the hob down to 1 or 2, and it’ll just comfortably stay warm, adjusting almost instantly.
Also, these days, there is a very wide range of cheap pots and pans that support induction hobs now. So while you may need to upgrade/replace some of your pots and pans, it’s not a major investment.
The only consideration is that the heating areas are a little small. In my case they’re the same size as this areas of the previous ceramic hob, pet eight distribution for very large pans needs to be attended to more perhaps than more expensive hobs with greater cooking surface area. But those are two or three times the price.

If your reading this to choose your first induction hob i can only say that this is a radical new hob concept, its similar to gas rings insomuch as when you turn it off the pan stops boiling instantly, with an induction hob its like its full brakes on to Stop… its like turning out a light, full on bubbling and stop boiling in a heart beat. it took awhile to get used to the touch pad controls, very easy clean hob surface, For the Price i am Happy
What’s not to like, the hob looks great, is easy to operate & works perfectly, it’s sleek & easy to clean I’m very pleased with it, although conscious that it’s early days following installation.
